  1. So Hulk Hogan was dropped out of the 2k16 video game and replaced with Terminator...that's interesting. http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2015/07/26/hulk-hogan-dropped-from-wwe-2k16/ Love the preview video!
  2. Another reason the story did not spread like wild fire is because it came from Fox News. Fox News is the most biased news reporting station and are the tabloids of television. This was the same news station trying to convince us that George Bush was a good president for 8 years. If you were a Republican you are cast as a martyr if your a democrat you're hung out to dry and if they could not find anything on you they would run a speculation piece that makes it sound like you done something wrong. You and me are not going to agree on this subject so I say we are done talking. We agree to disagree.
  3. Who is Ray Rice? Edit: Never mind I googled it and watched the knockout blow on the TMZ website. But honestly he doesn't have star power so of course he got thrown to the wolves. Millions of people know who John Cena is and WWE would be willing to protect their cash cow. Randy Orton is no where near as popular and his demons were protected.
  4. Hey look somebody else comes out of the dark to directly quote me but not take it personal. At least you have context behind what you are saying. But is it common for you to poke a bear when you see it's agitated? Anyways...I was pretty impressed with the Main Event of RAW! John earned a little bit of respect from me going all out in the match with a broken nose... Every bit of what JBL was talking about was true. The second your nose is broke your vision is screwed. You know I can tell John is taking the extra effort to break out of the 5 moves of doom and I'm glad because I actually look forward to his matches now. His character needs to step out of the 5 promos of doom and I can be fully behind the guy.
  5. I don't remember pulling your string but...for some reason I keep seeing you take shots at people...maybe you should change your name to lazortroll instead because you are obsessed with doing just that. Ok let me be more specific for the lazorbeaks of the world. They probably would cut checks to CNN...FOX NEWS...CNBC...and any other news outlet that would broadcast such a story. This would reduce this to only dirt sheets and we all know only trolls and smarks read those anyway. Anyway just now starting to catch Raw and I'm surprised with how far Tyson O'neal's mic skills has come. He could probably be a decent colour guy someday.
  6. Ummm....the Steve Austin wife beating went away...the only way you could find it back in the day if you looked at dirt sheets. Pretty sure the media was paid not plaster that one all over the news.
  7. No I'm pretty sure WWE would go out of their way to throw money at the situation and keep it quiet. I mean look how much Steve Austin beating his wife hit the media....zilch. Cena is their cash cow and I'm pretty sure they would want to keep it that way.
  8. The trading cards are an awesome idea! I think you need to go with the gray myself.
  9. No in my mind King Wusup stole it!....Nah I just royally flubbed that up!
  10. I laughed way harder than I should have at this! and to Liontamer... in the words of Ron Killings....DAMN! That was good.
  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Stennick" data-cite="Stennick" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I think everyone is in agreeance that the WWE did what had to be done and I think everyone is mostly in agreeance that what Hogan said was unacceptable, it was racist and it was either who he was or knowing Hogan its quite possible that whoever he was with was a racist and he was just "fitting in" because I'm the biggest Hulkamaniac ever but Hogan goes with the wind. Always has really since the buyout of WCW. Before then Hogan swung a big stick and whatever he said goes. Once WCW closed down he became a much bigger team player realizing that he was nearly 60 and had no other options. <p> </p><p> I'm not even concerned about the WWE's actions on this. Again they are a business company and I fully support what they did. It wasn't based in morality it was based in business. I've seen a lot of people say that but for some reason those same people that are saying "this was a business decision by them" are the first ones to complain online when the latest ROH indy darling isn't hotshotted right to the WWE title. So it seems strange to me that they can accept a 60 year old man who was nothing more than a good will ambassador's firing as a needful business decision but somehow turn around and believe that Samoa Joe or whoever should be the WWE Champion instead of the John Cena's of the world. </p><p> </p><p> My problem isn't with the WWE's moral standards. My complaints aren't a "swing and a miss" because they are more with the people on here or any other website or platform talking about how Hogan's a racist and he's that and he's this. Yet when Steve Austin beat his wife or wives...or when stories of Savage locking Elizabeth in a closet, or the Jimmy Snuka murder, or when Flair physically assaulted someone in a fit or road rage, or when Regal peed on a stewardess, or even when people use the mother of all "I know Benoit killed his entire family and himself but I still appreciate him as a performer". </p><p> </p><p> Yet I don't see a lot of that with Hogan which I mean is whatever its just maddening how people have some sort of claim to a moral compass but it can swing so freely. Because I think that out of nearly everything I listed there I think all of that is way worse than Hogan spouting racial slurs which was bad in itself but no one was beaten or urinated on in that process...that we know of. </p><p> </p><p> I doubt he'll be back because they don't really need him. They aren't going to "Benoit" him so to speak. I mean they don't do much with him now. They show clips of him slamming Andre or clips of the nWo but even that is minor. They don't really need to bring him back and it probably saves them a few million a year in a time when they are strapped for cash. Normally I would think Hogan would be just fine due the piles of money WCW gave him but with him at last check only being worth about 7 million I doubt a lot of that is even in liquid form. I wonder what he'll have to resort to now to keep up the lifestyle. I guess he could go the Flair route and keep it up by being a few million in debt and hiding from the police in Joe Gomez's basement I guess.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If you recall Hogan's wife took 80% of his assets in the divorce settlement. That is why you see him jump on TNA very shortly after. There is no WCW money because Mrs. Bolea is spending it! He needs the money at this point because she left him with virtually nothing. He has said in interviews around 2008 that he was done with making a lot of appearances than the wife trouble started.</p>
  12. Ok first of all welcome to the conversation if you scroll back a couple pages before you would realize that Chris Benoit was put into this debate because of the similarities of WWE treating Hogan. If your talking about no competing company yes there happen to be no other competing company when he was on top of the card. But wouldn't that mean more in a sense. If your on top of the mountain when there is only one mountain then that should mean more am I correct. It would qualify you as the best of the best. I repeat my first paragraph rebuttal to DaMegaFish. Well no body liked the N*A*Z*I's but is that a reason to forget them...we learn from our history. If we take an eraser to the parts we don't like than nobody learns from other people's mistakes. They continue to happen. Wow the first thing you said on this subject I agree with...this guy get's the big picture right here. Ok...let's see here. I'm about to burst your bubble on a lot of things and by yours and Atticus' argument you probably won't be a fan of pro wrestling afterward. You have to be a crazy, self loathing, egotistical or insecure person to be successful in the wrestling business. If you get in the business and something isn't wrong with you than you will be crazy by the time you leave it. Ric Flair is one of the greatest of all time and he was one of the biggest assholes of all time as well. If you are not a 5'7" blonde woman then he is a douche bag to you the second a camera isn't rolling. Scott Hall was a crazy alcoholic. He would show up to shows so wasted that you can smell the booze on him from your living room couch. He had to clean up his act once he got out of the business. Why do you think WWE put Razor Ramon in the Hall of Fame instead of Scott Hall? It's because the real person at the time was a complete train wreck and couldn't function without at least a 40oz to start his day. Chris Jericho has one of the biggest egos walking the planet. If there was an award for somebody thinking his crap doesn't stinks it is him. Stone Cold Steve Austin one of the biggest names ever in the business. He stayed an alcoholic to deal with the mental pressure of being the guy. He beat the merciless crap out of his wife but not one fan persecuted him for it. Shawn Michaels.....his most successful years are when he was the biggest pain in the ass. Do you want me to continue because I could go back to the 80's and 70's if you like? By your two's argument though if you don't like the person then the wrestler either doesn't exist or you can't enjoy their work. Well there is absolutely nothing to like about the sport in your guys' opinion. This guy gets it!
  13. So according to you.... Iron Sheik dropped the title to....nobody....Andre The Giant put over an invisible man at Wrestlemania 3....Andre won the title from nobody only to have it vacated the same night....Yokuzuna beat bret Hart at Wrestlemania just to lose it to nobody again.....and then beat that nobody at King of The Ring in 93. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were the only founding members of the NWO. NWO come to WWE and nobody wrestles in the main event against the Rock. I could go all day but I think you get the point.
  14. Ok let me ask you this how do you tell the story of wrestling without Hulk Hogan? You couldn't tell the story without Chris Benoit. It's almost like saying how do you tell the story of wrestling without Ric Flair it isn't going to happen. So why fight what he has accomplished.
  15. You think firing him would be enough or you think it's a knee jerk reaction to strike him from the record books...
  16. LMAO! See I can imagine what the WWE Network is going to look like in a month or two if people keep making a stink about this! It will be reminiscent of what you see here. They are just now letting Chris Benoit footage back in....not all of it mind you.
  17. Obviously you think a 30+ year career should be crucified over a paragraph. What he has done for every company he worked for is why he was given that hall of fame spot. To take it away over a few comments is insane...it's ok for warrior to bash homosexuals it's ok for Pete Rose to gamble...it's ok for Booker T and Vince McMahon to use the words even if they are not in a derogatory sense. But saying that whatever Hulk Hogan has done means nothing now is just foolish.
  18. I'll rebuttle to this statement...think about the man's age first of all he is 61 years old. The first 30 years of his life it was widely "acceptable" I regret to say in open conversation. That is just his generation. Does it make it right? No it does not. But that is how his generation of white male's water cooler talk went about. My parents were the same generation but I guess where I grew up in the south it was too common to hear that language. Again I'm not condoning the behaviour one bit I just think people are a little too butt hurt nowadays over these things. Do you think there would be this much hooplah if Booker T went and made remarks about some cracker dating his daughter. "Maybe not a record producer but if she was with a doctor cracker that made millions than that would be ok." I literately spun the scenario around but no body would fire him for that...he might get suspended without pay but that's it. Even if they have to fire the man for PR reasons taking away the man's legacy by trying to wipe away his existence by taking him off the website and Hall of Fame is ridiculous. I understand they have to punish him in some way but trying to deny him completely is just Bull$H1T! Edit: I found another link to some of his close friends and his daughter... http://time.com/3971895/hulk-hogan/ And this is from his twitter of everyone that is saying he is not a racist the list includes Dennis Rodman, Virgil, Glen Gilbertti (but he is not black lol!). I am pretty damn sure it was a bone head statement made by a guy who was mad at the world at the time.
  19. Ok but did the NBA fire Kobe? Or did the NFL fire Ben...exactly!
  20. Whoa wait a second it's one thing for me to talk about my daughter but I didn't allow you to do so....I'm going to take the high road now before my account gets banned for me going off the handle...let's just say we agree to disagree sir.
  21. I still think that was out of anger as his daughter was 19 at the time. Me being a father I've been known to become very irrational when situations arise concerning my kids. I know I said some things that I'm not proud of but your children will bring that out of you. My daughter is autistic and I've said some crazy things to people that I feel haven't the best intentions for her.
  22. I agree it was wrong but I don't agree with how they are handling it. Should he be fired for what he said 8 years ago not in their employ...no. But Vince using the word live on his show and then fires someone for saying it later is a little contradictory don't you think? http://www.theroot.com/blogs/the_grapevine/2015/07/report_hulk_hogan_caught_on_tape_referring_to_black_men_daughter_allegedly.html I found this article actually quoting some of the audio. I think it's a man that is mad at his daughter's choices not how he truly feels about all black people. He said some things 8 years ago out of anger. He was also going through a rough patch in his marriage that led to his divorce and his wife taking 80% of his assets. I'd say karma smacked the guy in the mouth for this statement years before.
  23. I'm not condoning his actions but some over blown comments should not take away from what he has accomplished in "their" ring. Even though that YouTube leak of Booker T calling Hulk Hogan a you know what has millions of views that didn't stop them from putting Booker in the Hall of Fame. I'm just saying they are making themselves look contradictory here. I mean come on....Vince said this little dousy on live tv! Hogan's comments were made even before that moment was aired so no I don't think Hulk should be fired or the latter because of this.
