Ant-Establishment Wrestling- A pro wrestling variant of the Anti-Establishment with the grunge and punk rock aesthetics married with larger than life characters and good in ring work.

Great! You inspired me to do more!

Attitude Lucha Libre - A lucha libre variant of Attitude Entertainment. It is a grittier feel and more realistic content married with lucha libre. Just like it's counterpart, it's aimed at a 18-35 demographic and it gives more time to the segments if needed.

Televisión de Impacto - A mexican counterpart of Crash TV.

Agresión Despiadada: The lucha libre version of Ruthless Agression. Just like it's counterpart, it's lucha libre pushed to an extreme. There's generally plenty of controversial and bloody content, so it's aimed at late teens and adults, but there's still the colorful characters and athletic quality that has always characterized mexican lucha libre.

EDIT: Now that i came to think about it... i was thinking that there should be more variants for British wrestling besides Pseudo Sport.

  3. Olympic Athlete: This worker will ocassionally accept to represent his/her country in the Summer Olympic Games or other regional multi-sport events and will be away from wrestling during the period that his sport will last. He/she may get minor to mayor popularity boosts depending on how well he performed and if he/she get a medal.

Former Olympic Athlete: This worker used to participate in the Summer Olympic Games or other regional multi-sport events, but has retired since then and he won't participate on such events in the future. Apropiate for people like The Iron Sheik, Kurt Angle, or Bad News Brown.

  4. Shoot-Style Entertainment: This product retains the worked shoot enviroment of the matches, but combines it with an emphasis with storylines, angles and characters, while mantaining the balance between such elements, such as the matches only ending via submission or disqualification

Comic Book Hardcore: Taking the hardcore wrestling and adding it the mythos and visual image of comic books, this style, this style is about big dramatic rivalries played out in a violent and bloody enviroment.

In the Narratives section, can we have a Company entry that has them join an Alliance? Same thing for leaving an alliance.

Mmmm.... i think you should suggest that in a thread apart, this is focused on the products of the wrestling company.

Now, to return to the matter in question...

100% Lucha inspired product (I don't have a proper name)
95% matches and 5% segments on TV and Events (the segments are the announcers and the ring anouncer if you ask)
Every type of gimmicks can be pushed (even comedy ones)
    Story telling required

Any Quebec wrestling fans able to identify the referee in the image below? It's from 1986 but the ring announcer speaks far too quickly for me to catch the name. I've already got an image of Andre Roy so I'm hoping this is Eugene Brie but really can't tell!

    Quebec Ref.gif

While i'm not a Quebec fan, i'm somewhat accostumed to hear foreign languages. Out to help you, i was watching some IW videos on youtube, and i took me a while to identify this guy, since when the ring announcer talks on the mic it goes so louder that you can barely hear what are the names that he's mentioning.

But yes, this guy seems to be Eugene Brie. (Happens that since they're in Montreal and French language is their language, they pronounce Eugene differently from the english-speaking people. Had to lower the speed of the video, so to find out that is really he).

    Hope this helped!

  7. Maybe in the next TEW game we should see something that happens more often in Japan and sometimes in Mexico: The Exodus. For example, when Mitsuharu Misawa was followed by several wrestlers to form Pro Wrestling NOAH when he left All Japan Pro Wrestling or when Francisco Flores along with some EMLL talent left to form the Universal Wrestling Association.

Also, splitable promotions, out of an example, when Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling was divided in two promotions in 1992: JWP Project and Ladies Legend Pro-Wrestling.

  8. I apologize in the process if this has been suggested in the past but i think this would be a good one in the next TEW edition.

I think that to make it happen, first there has to be a trade agreement between two companies and once the relationship goes for the better, they could arrange the interpromotional events. But why just 2, it would be applied for more than 3 possibly, but again, there has to be a good relationship between the promotions.

It would be very complex to apply but, it would enrich the experience.
