  4. Match: Curtis Jenkins vs. Nigel Svensson. Winner: Nigel Svensson Comments: Bring Nigel in hot! Match: Vic Walker vs. Lynton Minehead. Winner: Vic Walker Comments: Minehead might have potential, but he's not getting the win here. Match: Don Henderson vs. Neil Warburton for the CWW Submission Championship. Winner: Don Henderson Comments: Warburton is the best of your rookie bunch, but he could still use more seasoning. Putting the belt on Henderson seems like a no-brainer. Match: Lee & O'Hearne vs. Sharp & Heath for the CWW Tag Team Championships. Winners: Heath & Sharp Comments: Might as well keep the belts on your best team for the time being, even if Lee & O'Hearne are probably your #2 team at the moment. Match: Merle O'Curle vs. Lenny Mochin for the CWW Championship. Winner: Lenny Mochin Comments: Mochin wins to set up the tie-breaker for later in the year or Championship Showdown in 2021. And while O'Curle is great, Mochin is extremely capable to carry the main event (until Heath starts outperforming him).

  6. So, got through my first year with CWW. Nothing creative, mostly spent my first year testing what would work and what wouldn't. Added another monthly show to the schedule, so I'd be running twice each month (excluding August and December). And it didn't even tank my finances as 10 out 12 months were profitable. Not by much, but profitable. Decided to run a round robin tournament during the Summer Sizzler shows, with two blocks of six. It was fun, so I'll probably keep that as a summer tradition. Grouped up everyone in four stables to clear up my booking on the second half of the year. Hires: - I usually like to run decently big rosters, even with small companies, so I grabbed a few key hires at the start of the year. Hired Blackwell Bush from Australia, Andrei Boronin from Eastern Europe and Aurelian Bradley from the UK, all technicians. Figured I needed to prop up my midcard with some promising names and another rookie. - In the summer I brought in some veteran presence. Thomas Morgan left UEW so I brought him on board and hired Keith Adams as well. - With my finances being pretty good, I rounded up the current roster in October with Don Henderson, Merle O'Curle, Pavel Vachyska and Landon Mallory! Mallory left VWA to look for new opportunities so I pounced on that. The Good: - Martin Heath is a BEAST. Staring the save I thought he'd be a linchpin of the tag division but I was wrong. After a rocky start, he ended up stealing the show pretty much every time he stepped in the ring. Ended up featuring in most of my top 10 matches. Earned to dethrone Mochin as the champ. - Blackwell Bush. Wasn't familiar with him, but decided to give him a shot seeing his potentially great technical wrestling skills. And boy, he's been great. Heath is the only guy who can compare with Bush's output in 2020. Gave him a quick feud with Warburton and the Submission title as well. Despite usually opening my shows with some Technical Masterclasses, he often ends up delivering the best match of the night. - The rest of the Main Event crew. Mochin, JK Lee, Curtis Jenkins and Padraig O'Hearne are all awesome. Mochin, Lee and O'Hearne should be my go to guys for the next decade. The Bad: - The rookies, mostly. Maybe I'm just used to TEW 2016, where I usually managed to shoot relative rookies up the card more easily. Well, I didn't play a CWW product then so no more entertainment angles for me! Warburton kicked it up a notch after his title reign ended and is clearly the best of the rookie crop and even up to the level of his vastly more experienced colleagues in the upper card. Gavin Owen is not terrible, but is a bit inconsistent. Pinfall Peters (with his horrible name) improved though the year. But the rest... - Bradley, Myles Cross, Jermaine Granger, Vernon George and Lynton Minehead are all extremely green, and it showed. Cross was horrible most of the year and somehow got worse as the year went on. Granger had some positive performances but hasn't broken out of the pack. Bradley was pretty much the same. George was even worse than Cross. Then he broke his neck and is out for a year. THEN he started training for an MMA match! Kurt Angle would be proud. Minehead might have the potential to go far (being the protege of British Samurai) and I've even given him a bit of a push as Mochin's tag partner, but his performances just haven't been up to par. Still, these guys were working their debut year, so I just have to give them more time. - Keith Adams. I knew he was old, but thought he'd be a fine guy to work with the rookies. Well, he managed to perform worse than my rookies, as he was extremely deep in time decline and hung up his boots just a few months later. Gave him a CWW title match as his last match for sentimental reasons. What's next: - Heath vs Bush is my Main Event for Championship Showdown. Heath will continue his reign, but Bush is earmarked to win another accomplishment during the year, whether it's the King of the North or Summer Sizzler Series. - Lee and O'Hearne are the current tag champs and doing extremely well. Might have them drop the titles to someone lower on the card, though I don't mind having three titles all fit to main event shows. - Push Landon Mallory. Just push him. - Keep being profitable. I'm trying to limit my spending with some interesting gems leaving 21CW (Darin Flynn would be an ideal fit to my product to my product, but he costs more than triple than my highest paid guy). Get attendance up to the magic 300 people while I'm at it.
  7. Who are you to doubt Leighton Buzzard? In my CWW save (first year done) Buzzard & Taypen are solid and extremely close to hitting 100 tag experience with them working both CWW (2 shows a month) and SNP. Buzzard is the star, though. As for moving Championship Showdown for the sake of one worker... it's a bit game-y, but it hasn't stopped me from doing it in my 2016 saves. You have a year, so you might want to wait if he ends up leaving VWA or if someone else from your roster heads out there as well before making the decision.
  8. Having started my first "serious" game in 2020 with CWW, I'll be reading along as well. Excited to see how the young guys perform and who can step up to the main event.
  9. Yes, I believe you can de-activate and re-activate the key on another computer, it's a bit of a hassle though. You can consult this thread from the Tech Support forum: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=544967
  10. Great stuff so far. EXODUS has always had a soft spot in my heart, being the CV equivalent of Dragon-Gate-but-not-really. Never got a long running game running with them, but the short ones I tried with 13 and 16 were pretty fun. EXODUS 2010 Presents APEX PREDATOR 2020 EXODUS 2010 WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion, Masao Tsubouchi vs. #1 Contender, Shimpei Hirose Order of the Dragon seems like a cool stable, but Hirose shouldn't have a chance here. Tsubouchi is (probably) the best guy in the roster and while Hirose is good, he's still mostly a top tier tag guy to me. Also, the champ never loses his first defense in a TEW save, especially in a diary... right? EXODUS 2010 WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champions, H-X vs. #1 Contenders, The Revengers Let's go with the same reasoning. EXODUS 2010 ALL-ASIA JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Champion, Tobei Sugimura vs. #1 Contender, Kaoru Shibasawa A-ha, the title match where a change is a possibility. Shibasawa has a storyline going so he gets the belt. Maybe. Burning EXILE vs. ??? Never bet against the question marks. Pretty Okakura vs. The Incredible Koyama Okakura has gotten a spotlight in the first few shows, so he could use a win against the ancient(?) Koyama. Tsuneyo Yanagimoto, Midnight Tiger & Naoya Shinozaki vs. The Order of the Dragon (Commander Kigushi, Dial K for Kotani & Sumiyuki Samura) Kotani and Samura will continue with the young boy tradition of losing, losing and losing some more. Bonus - Who is ???: Going with an invader from ACPW with some pre-built popularity. Jayson van Pelt Bonus 2 - Match of the Night: Tsubouchi vs Hirose
  11. Hopefully a quick question. During the trial you can only play in January and February, correct? So, if you'd convert a mod from 2016, that would have to start from January of any year to work in the trial version? Thanks in advance!
  12. <p>Quick question, apologies if this has already been answered somewhere, hundreds of threads but only so little time...</p><p> </p><p> When booking matches for CWW, I got a notification in the results of the matches somewhat on the lines of "the match rating was dinged, because the match was too short considering who was involved" (not a word by word transcript, didn't realize I should've written that down). </p><p> </p><p> This happened in every match but one (the main event, as it was the only match without any unknowns in it and a match length of over 20 minutes). </p><p> </p><p> My product says that "fans expect important matches to be lengthy". So, if I've understood this correctly, any time a wrestler who is considered above unimportant is involved, the match HAS TO surpass a time limit (which I'm assuming is 20 minutes) even if said wrestlers are green as grass and possess a gas tank worse than Goldberg in the beautiful city of Jeddah in Parts Unknown? That seems... odd. </p><p> </p><p> Again, sorry if this has been already clarified, but if you'd kindly point me to the correct place.</p>
  13. CWA was definitely a shock, almost jumped out of my chair and audibly gasped when the intro slides hit Canada. That's pretty good for a text-based wrestling booking simulator. Scrolling through all the retirements was a somber experience. It really feels like the next generation finally has to step up. Really excited to see so many new faces all around the, have to do a lot of digging before I settle in with a promotion.
  14. This has been a great thread. It's really cool that these favourite moments span from the early 80's all the way to the past few years. Trying to come up with an absolute favourite is really hard, so I'll just talk about a few of them. DBD's Mania 30 win and Christian's title win are moments that will stay with me forever, even with botched follow-ups (I think 2 Days is the start of my never-ending skepticism towards WWE). These two have been talk about in this thread, and for good reason, so let me talk about other moments that really resonated with me. Chuck Taylor had been one of my favourite PWG ever since I started watching PWG stuff in 2012 (with Threemendous III). Five years later, he was pretty much the only one left of that generation of independent wrestlers. His friends and peers had mostly left and signed elsewhere. But Chuckie T was still there. And he hadn't won a major singles title anywhere. Sure, he had some success in teams, having won DDT4 and King of Trios. But that singles glory eluded him. Until he got the push. The moment when Chuckie planted ZSJ with the Awful Waffle after a tremendous contest, hooked the leg and won the PWG World Title, I almost cried. A stupid grin rose on his face as Reseda exploded and Excalibur screeched his voice out. I sat on my bench and smiled from ear to ear. The other moment I want to bring up is even more recent. Last year me and four of my friends hopped on a plane in Finland and went to London for a weekend of wrestling. Two RevPro shows, All Out live in a bar and, of course, New Japan's Royal Quest. Seeing Minoru Suzuki in two matches and having the chance to yell Kaze Ni Nare aloud with 7000 drunk britbongs was an unforgettable experience. I'll never forget the arena SHAKING as we demanded Suzuki to keep murdering Okada. If he had actually won, Copper Box might've actually crumbled from the pop. After the show, me and one of my friends managed to get out before the rest of our group, so we waited outside at the smoking place. A gentleman named Simon approached and started conversation by saying: "What a show, eh lads?" My voice was shot, so I probably managed to gurgle something resembling a "yeah." Awesome night, awesome match.
  15. <p>Thrill Seeker vs. <strong>Gargantuan</strong> in a Canadian Lumberjack match</p><p> Comments: <em>Gargantuan is positioned as THE top dog with the DeColts gone and you know, Thrill Seeker can still chase the title afterwards. 16. <p>After getting back on the TEW groove after a hiatus, I put my long running CV97 Aussie game on hold and decided to hop to MAW 2016. And the game has been my longest effort in the default database, closing in on the end of 2019. Here's how things have been shaping up.</p><p> </p><p> Only had four departures thus far. Greg Gauge went to GCG and later to BHOTWG in early 2017, dropping the title Spencer Spade (who had been let go by SWF for... reasons, I guess). Roderick Remus in 2018, heading off to GCG and after that collapsed, getting picked up by PGHW. Spade held the title for two years, dropped it in late 2018 and was signed by CGC in early 2019. Spade is rocketing towards the top of the card, currently feuding with Jack DeColt. The latest guy to departure was Logan Wolfsbaine. After a four year run, he was picked up by BHOTWG after touring in multiple promotions for years. As a departure gift, he challenged Xavi Farrera for the MAW title, blowing off their feud, and delivered a A rated match! Holy hell. I also had Heroe and Nigel Svensson for a cup of coffee, but they were gone in a few months. I'm fearing written offers every month, with Austin Smooth, Gidaya "Lariat" Katou and now George Wolfe touring Japan. </p><p> </p><p> I tend to mostly sign unemployed talent (Ferrera and Wolfsbaine were both released by PSW early) and try to groom form within. Despite that, it's my signees who have had most success. Austin Smooth has turned into an absolute beast, banging in B+ performances every time. He has excellent chemistry with THE ARCHITECT and their team (creatively named The Smooth ARCHITECTS) has delivered big time, routinely delivering the match of the night. Really, THE ARCHITECT is the biggest success of the homegrowns, winning the 2016 Rip Chord Invitational and then 2018 Sam Keith Classic with Smooth. They will probably feud at some point, after they drop the titles to a lower card team. </p><p> </p><p> The "big" name acquisitions have been former SOTBW guy Star Master and NOTBW "Dropped Ball #1" Mark Griffin (who has been routinely released by those darn Stones in every long term game I've done from TEW 13 onwards). Master is probably my third most reliable guy after Smooth and Ferrara, but with his popularity absolutely refuses to job without throwing a fit. So after a brief spell with the MAW title he's mostly been spinning his wheels in the uppercard, mostly in tags. </p><p> </p><p> Griffin was supposed to win RCI 2017, but took a booking in FCW instead. Then he was supposed to win RCI 2018 but Spade was angry about jobbing, so no dice. As a consolation price I made him the COTT champion (seriously, Too Hot? Did you book yourself as the champion?). Griffin reigned for two years, having great matches all around the alliance, until dropping it to... Handsome Stranger? Nani? </p><p> </p><p> Uppercard also features George Wolfe (good challenger for uppercard faces), Quentin Queen (really avarage, but autopushed because of pre-existing popularity), Bradley Blaze (future champ, if keeps developing) and Miller Fjorde. I really love Miller, but he constantly underperforms. He never gets a higher than a D+, despite some good performance stats. Was going to give him a tag run with Gauge, but that ended at the first hurdle, since Gauge got signed IMMEDIATELY after they won. Being a cruiserweight in MAW really sucks and I'm hoping he can find success elsewhere, having just signed to PSW. I'm not going to give up trying, as he's improving his weakest top row stat, brawling, in every show. </p><p> </p><p> Tag ranks! Collier and Jones had a two year run plus two short reigns with the COTT straps. Canadian Grapplers Inc (Cal Sanders & Kirk Drury) are my top babyface team and since Sanders hasn't hit decline yet, they're probably getting the belts back at some point. DeMarcus & Grey are there, Grey is not setting the world on fire. Paired up Copperhard and Deadline, since the latter is better in tag environment anyway due to below average stamina. Heartbreak Express is given time to develop, Ralph Liotta has all the sings of a star! They're due a title run sooner than later.</p><p> </p><p> Current American champion is Gidaya Katou, who has gotten scary good really fast. Was in undercards for a year or two, then shot up to midcard pretty fast. Pulled a B- out of Hal Harvard! He's probably keeping the belt until eventually going home via written deal in one of the big companies in Japan. </p><p> </p><p> Lower card doesn't really have any gems currently. Jules Knight and Seth Whitehead have potential. Signed all but one of the regens popping trough the boot camp. Teamed two of them up and they have become a solid tag team, one of them being Sam Keith's protege and getting tips on psychology a lot. Rest of the regens are rotting in pre-show hell, so I'm hoping some of them develop.</p><p> </p><p> Rest of the world keeps chugging along. GCG is the only place to go under thus far. Lots of retirements. USPW is still a powerhouse, but is seriously lacking youth. PGHW is taking the lead in Japan over BHOTWG, while BCG keeps rising. 21CW almost went bankrupt, released almost everyone worth a damn, and are looking very different nowadays. Lots of the young guys found themselves in smaller European promotions, USPW won the bidding war for Cornell and Orson headed North of the Border.</p>
  17. <p>Just great, great stuff here. The writing is good and brings something new to the table. Differentiating the tone from the usually light-hearted CGC fun (see: Self's excellent diaries) is really interesting. Running CGC without the DeColts is definitely a challenge, but I'm excited to see how you can flesh out the other characters and groom some new main event players. </p><p> </p><p> ______</p><p> </p><p> Predictions:</p><p> </p><p> Main Event: The Price Seekers( Thrill Seeker, Christian Price, and Donte Dunn) vs.<strong> No Laughing Matter (Gargantuan, Whippy the Clown, and Dan DaLay)</strong></p><p> <em>(The faces getting a feel good victory sounded good, but the Gargantuan monster push cannot be halted at the first hurdle)</em></p><p> </p><p> Co-Main Event: Blockbuster Champions( Blockbuster and the Predators) vs. <strong>The Unwashed Masses (Shane Nelson and The Dirty White Boys)</strong></p><p> <em>(The future challengers getting some momentum against the champions... even if the six present probably the blandest of the CGC roster)</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Stevie's Business ( Stevie Grayson, Bobby Thomas, and Zeus Maximillion)</strong> vs. The Poison Delivery Service (Joey Poison, Brett Fraser, and Ozzie Golden)</p><p> <em>(Poison should get a push... unless he's in decline. A bit of a cointoss but as a firm believer in some good ol' 50/50 booking, I'm going with two face teams and two heel teams winning)</em></p><p> </p><p> Skip's High Energy ( Skip Beau, Drake Young, and Intrepid Ian Identity) vs. <strong>The Family (Antonio "Toni" Del Veccio, Marc Raisin, and Dermott Ayres)</strong></p><p> <em>(The new stable gets to shine against the trio of face jobbers. Big fan of the face side of characters, so here's hoping they're getting some love later)</em></p>
  18. <p>So, 3 and a half years in CV97 and Australian KCCW is still trekking towards regional. Here's what's been going on...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Team BURNING vs The World</strong></p><p> Team BURNING consists of Bryan "Sherlock" Holmes, UK Dragon and Tom Gilmore. The gimmick is pretty much "we tour in Japan so we're better than you". Brought them in to hammer in some wrestling skills into the locals, but I decided to team them up. Holmes is still dreadful in the mic, but is over with Dragon and Gilmore handling the entertainment. Holmes is our current Pacific Champion (the ME title) and is feuding with Jack Giedroyc. BURNING tried to bring Giedroyc into the stable (since he has also toured Japan), but Giedroyc refused and is now trying to grab his first title. He won't succeed because...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Harry Simonson's Push Has No Brakes:</strong></p><p> The two-year pro Harry Simonson has steadily climbed to the cusp of main event status and won the annual Battle for Australia in January. The tournament win granted him a title match against champion Lone Rider, but Holmes tricked Simonson into letting him in the match. Then Holmes pinned Simonson in the title match to win the title. Now Simonson and his tag partner Boo Smithson are looking to get revenge on Holmes and rise to the top. Smithon and Holmes actually had my best match yet (B-). </p><p> </p><p> The plan is to have a 3- or 4-way match at the end of the year with Holmes, Simonson, Gilmore and Rider, with Gilmore getting the win and kicking Holmes out of BURNING (and probably hiring some goons while he's at it). Holmes will then challenge Gilmore unsuccesfully. Then Simonson chases Gilmore till he wins the title, hopefully around 2001. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Division:</strong></p><p> The Adequate Partners (The Comedian & Butch Perry) hold the titles and are embroiled in a never-ending feud with the LDRS of the New School (Lanny Williams & Debonair David Peterson). Peterson frequently refuses to job. Other teams include Aggressive Tendencies (Michael Rheur & Saul Rubbernick, who is a backstage troublemaker and thus a jobber for life), Stay Classy (Classy Paul Massey & regen Edward Nash), Unlimited Violence (Max Langstrom & Septimus Stubbs) and the aforementioned Simonson & Smithson, collectively known as The Future (mighty generic, I know). </p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Other Big Feuds:</strong></p><p> </p><p> Lone Rider and BEEG Jim Teasdale have re-newed their brutal rivalry in my attempts to drive Jim's popularity down, so he would job to SOMEONE without throwing a fit. Rider and Teasdale feuded through 97 and I've kept them apart since. </p><p> </p><p> Jack Avatar (UC) is locking horns with former champion Sharky George. Sharky was my top babyface, until he got jealous of the adulation that the veteran Lone Rider got from the fans. In their big title match Sharky finally snapped, hit Rider with the title belt and beat him senseless. Rider chased him and got the title. The big blow-off was a bit disappointing (C rating, was hoping for a C+ with B- heat) so Sharky has been rampaging through the roster for another shot at the top. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Notable Midcarders:</strong></p><p> Trehawke Philips bloody sucks. Despite topping my hot prospects -list for the whole game (with "is showing signs of turning into a fantastic in-ring performer), he still shits the bed in singles matches. He has gotten some big programs and has failed to deliver while Simonson, Smithson and Stubbs have excelled. Thankfully for him, he has excellent tag chemistry with Lone Rider and the two have delivered some great tag matches. I just want to keep Rider in the ME-scene for now. </p><p> </p><p> New Zealand Pitbull is a fine brawler and has excellent chemistry fighting Sharky. They will have another top tier rivalry some day. For now, he's just a gatekeeper. </p><p> </p><p> Septimus Stubbs has exceeded all of my expectations with his mic work na dbeing a good brawler and a good hardcore worker. His feuds with Rider and Sharky carried the company in 97 and 98. Is now doing tag work with Max Langstrom and keeping The Future occupied for a while. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Meanwhile...</strong></p><p> HGC has hired everybody. The end. </p><p> </p><p> ...</p><p> </p><p> This has probably been my favourite save in TEW. Trying to train these avarage at best workers has been really fun. Just hoping another Aussie company would pop up before APW to get some more work for the wrestlers.</p>
  19. <p>So I haven't played TEW in a while but I thought I'd share the last "big" event of my save. Playing CV97 in Australia (using KCCW from the database) and the last show I completed was our December show "Pathway to Glory" (yes I am ripping off old N-Gage games). It went something like this:</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Leaders of the New School (Lanny Williams & Debonair David Peterson) w/Sean Quartermaine</span></strong><strong> defeated </strong><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">The Adequate Partners (The Comedian & Butch Perry)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> The LDRS are my top team with both on the cusp of main event. Comedian and Perry are the odd duo with great chemistry. These teams had feuded for 6 months with LDRS beating the Partners in singles action with dubious means and escaping unscathed in multiman matches. I gave LDRS the win because they are the next feud for my champion and the best team I got. The Partners will tag until Comedian does a heel turn in a year or two. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">The Future (Harry Simonson & Boo Smithson)</span></strong><strong> defeated </strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Aggressive Tendencies (Saul Rubbernick & Michael Rheur)</span></strong><strong> and </strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">World Class (Captain Wrestling</span></strong><strong> & </strong><strong><span style="color:#2E8B57;">Keiko Fujinami</span></strong><strong>)</strong></p><p> </p><p> A filler match to get my other tag teams on the card. The Future are two future legends of the Australian C-Verse but here they are two rookies with barely six months of experience under them. The Tendencies are my lowest tag team with Rubbernick being on my shitlist for being a dick backstage and Rheur being stuck as a jobber alongside him. World Class of Captain and Keiko actually have some sort of story going with all of their wins ending with Keiko scoring the final blow and Captain stealing the pin for himself. This is a slow burn until she gets pissed and destroys him. (Wanted to do an intergender company despite Australia having ONE female wrestler, Keiko is blackballed from 5SSW so I gave her a place in Australia). The Future take the victory because they have the biggest upside and will feud with the LDRS sometime in the future. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Septimus Stubbs</span></strong><strong> defeated </strong><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">Trehawke Philips</span></strong><strong> in a Weapons Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Septimus Stubbs is a psychopath who is pretty much trying to destroy anyone who is unfortunate to cross paths with him. Philips is the white-meat boring babyface who is "loved" by "everyone". I don't even remember why this happened. The game keeps telling me that there's a big upside for Philips but I'm just not seeing it. He gets outshined by almost every opponent and most of the young guys are better and more interesting than him. Stubbs wins and will start a feud with my top babyface. </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">Jack Avatar</span></strong><strong> drew with </strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">New Zealand Pitbull</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> Avatar is my avatar (duh) and Pitbull is one of the better workers of the scene. Pitbull was brought in during the summer to be a hired hitman for Jim Teasdale against the Lone Rider. Avatar later eliminated Pitbull from a #1 contenders Thunderbastard Match (yes I'm also ripping off Progress). Pitbull took out Avatar for two months as a payback and we had a match here. Match degenerated into a brawl out of the arena (bar/lounge/whatever) and the feud will conclude in a stipulation match soon-ish.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Bryan Holmes</span></strong><strong> defeated </strong><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">Sharky George</span></strong><strong> (via DQ) (KCCW Championship Match)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Holmes is the overconfident, undefeated, world-traveled challenger, who thinks he's better than anybody on this bloody continent. George is basically Australian Stone Cold, drinking beer, hitting stunners, all that jazz. Holmes uses the smoking gun to win via DQ and try to enrage the champion to make him lose his focus. He won't win the title because a) he will probably sign a written deal somewhere soon (and I pretty much hired him to try to make our aussies better) and 2) I plan for Sharky to hold the belt for another year</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">The Lone Rider</span></strong><strong> defeated </strong><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Big Jim Teasdale</span></strong><strong> in a Steel Cage Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> The feud that run trough the whole year. Lone Rider came back from a short hiatus and immediately drew the ire of "the greatest man in Australia today". Teasdale felt that Rider's spotlight had come and gone and hired New Zealand Pitbull to take him out before a four-way title match. Rider later cost Big Jim's title to George during the summer. A cage match was set to settle the rivalry once and for all. My best rated match thus far (C-) and the feud that carried the company. Lone Rider is my best overall guy and will feud with Stubbs next until a title feud with Sharky (who will turn). Teasdale is a big menacing monster so even though he's not the best in the ring, his angles will keep him in the top of the card.</p>
