1. Since you ported over the the new licensing arena, where did the old mod threads go? Also, how do we get the current updated version, if we currently have one on steam (I had the original from like 2014, then the Steam one, now the updated? one)?
 2. it all depends on the talent of the players around you, and the plays you call. You want lots of running, then collect good linemen and call lots of option, QB run plays
 3. For those of us who got in on Steam, or had it years before- how do we get access to the new version? Do we re-purchase
 4. Why did this game never have a play designer/editable playbook sort of thing. I think this would advance the game even more compared to the games likedraft day sports and the like. It's like the only thing missing!

 6. What installer? I don't have the old one anymore- I had ported my same license to steam and activated it there
 7. I have Bowl Bound on Steam (I had it years ago on regular PC first before it was ported to steam). I recently installed adn tried to play it but got the error listed in the title. It says file component OVSCombo2d is missing or invalid. Does anyone have a workaround?
 8. I've done that sometimes, but mostly I only move RBs to LBs. Because, if you look in real life, a lot of high school teams that have top recruits on them have that guy playing RB and QB. So look at his adaptability and arm strength then give it a shot
 9. I can't do this with the new pstats.dat file. I downloaded the one with the correct team names and now Maryland is 24 and so the numbers are all messed up
 10.
I said at the beginning of my post that the running was skewed against the human.

Then I offered ways to get around that.

Skewed or not, the game is how it is. and since an update does not seem to be happening, we can either play how it is and scheme differently or not.

You do realize that you can still run formations that are marked red, right? The better the talent level, the less the penalty

 11.
not quite.

Yes, I do agree that the running seems to be skewed against the human, but there are more things to OL usage.

Do you know their hands ratings? If an OL has weak hands he can be pushed off balance by someone with better hand placement and all his strength is for nothing.

Also, do you use conventional formations? If you keep running I formation or pro formation-up the middle eventually teams will know this and adapt to it. So use other formations like wing and wishbone and stuff.

That is called in game adaptations. Even the best recruits and players can be failed by poor coaching

I play as Kentucky now and I don't always have stellar talent but even I can get good rushing yards out of them sometimes.

 12. I made a player's guide that explains about the positions and what I think is necessary to perform well in the game. You can read it; I think it's stickied at the top of the forum
 13. I don't think you can. This is why I rotate players so they can all get some PT and also why you should heed your transfer email at the end of fall camp
 14. You do have a chance. It depends on a lot, though. Are you close in prestige? are you close to home? your style of defense, offense, etc. A really important thing is how deep you are at that position. The deeper you are, the less a player at that position will commit For example, if you have an OLB who is between you of 70 prestige and another school of 80 prestige. However, you run a 3-4 (which has more LB use) while the other school runs a 4-2-5. Your school is in the same state and your coach has good prestige. You'd have a fighting change with that guy However, let's say it's the same situation between the schools and schemes but now you are fighting over a DT. DTs have more usage in a 4 down defense than a 3 down defense, so you might not have much of a chance with that guy.
 15. Yep, I do that quite a bit. and the other way around, also. Get some 6'3 250 2 star DE and make him into an OLB or ILB since no linebacker interest. You can do everything
