  1. <p>"There's one new addition to the game to mention, which is in the scheduling section. Players now have a Redo Schedule button. What this does is allow you to totally recreate a schedule from scratch, with the ability to choose from any of the pre-written options (such as Monthly, Tour, Seasons, etc). This isn't going to be a feature that'll get a lot of use for most players, but for those who move from a normal to touring schedule (or vice versa) this is going to be invaluable as otherwise you'd be looking at a fairly major amount of work - this new feature gets rid of that task for you."</p><p> </p><p>

So I'm a simple man, does all of this mean you can do like a mass editor while in a save that lets you add a bunch of events to a schedule without needing to go through them one, by one? Like If I wanted G1 Climax night 1 then 2 then 3 does this let me do that in a game?</p>

  4. <p>Can't wait till the game is almost finished & I can make endgame jokes.</p><p> </p><p>

So I'm seeing the attribute stuff & it's about what I expected. I know there will be more. I just hope match specialist options are added. Comedy matches have been mentioned but I mean more for actual match types. Someone already mentioned tag match enthusiast & I'm hoping he does that for all matches.</p><p> </p><p>

I also wish there was a way for people to naturally gain abilities over time. I don't know if he's mentioned that or not. Most of the ones he's brought up seem like steadfast, never changing stuff. Except for the drug stuff of course. I'd love if a worker could just gain the ability to get a bonus when working in the main event. Like, they work the main event enough & then get an attribute explaining they are now good at main events. Same with them gaining attributes for stats. Like someone can gain an attribute for star quality over time. Making them grow at that stat faster.</p>

  5. <p>Spotlight burns brightest: Worker gets a positive bonus when in the main event.</p><p>

Under Pressure: Worker gets a negative bonus when in the main event.</p><p> </p><p>

I like them THICC: Worker gets a bonus in matches against larger workers than himself.</p><p>

Keep them light as a feather: Worker gets a bonus when working against workers smaller than himself.</p><p> </p><p>

I know the above ones are already in the game. But a more clearly defined explanation would be nice.</p><p> </p><p>

I think any stat should have an attribute that makes them grow faster at it.</p><p>

    Like,</p><p> </p><p>

Gym Rat: Worker naturally gains the power stat faster than others.</p><p>

Kid, you're gonna be a star!: Worker gains the star power stat faster than others.</p><p> </p><p>

or the exact opposite of those.</p><p> </p><p>

Pencil neck geek: Worker is adverse to gaining the power stat.</p><p>

You shine like an old rusty penny: Worker is adverse to gaining the star quality stat.</p>

  6. Just got through booking my first year of Shifting Sands 2006 mod. Nagata spent the year holding back the budding future. He beat Tanahashi in the New Japan Cup finals, then beat Nakamura to win the IWGP Heavyweight title. After that. he spent the rest of the year holding the title. Tanahashi managed to win the G1 Climax & finally beat him at Wrestlekingdom 2: Electric Boogaloo.

The upcoming year is going to see Nagata win the New Japan Cup a second time, get to the finals of the G1 where he will beat Tanahashi in the finals & then go off to lose to Tanahashi at Wrestlekingdom 3: The Revengance. Give Tanahashi a strong over 1 year reign.

  7. The gimmick was that Eddie got a day off to deal with the recent title loss to Keiji Mutoh/Great Muta, and booked the card. but the authority figures made one stipulation. He couldn't book himself into a rematch against Muta.

So Eddie decided instead that he'd book Mutoh vs. Takada for the World Title as the "main event" (which Mutoh barely got out of)... And then right after that match, he'd come out and announce the REAL Main Event!

Tactics like that are why "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert is the ONLY! Five Time World Champion in the company.

I love the name & concept of that show. A one night special where a wrestler isn't allowed to book himself into a title match, but he can try to cost the guy that beat him for the championship. Very cool!

If you have legit went from the 87 mod to 2004, then I must take my hat off & give you a rounding applause. 17 years is an absolute lifetime of work! I'd love to see your entire history.

  9. I'd imagine screenshots wouldn't even be possible right now, or at least not very representative. 'Full' design (the shiny stuff) is usually one of the last things to happen. Right now, I'd imagine the game looks like a lot of grey empty boxes on a grey empty background.

Yeah, thats true. I'm the kinda guy that loves looking at beta stuff in games. So seeing the evolution of changes or alterations is something I find cool to look at. Then again, it's probably just empty, grey boxes like you said.

  10. Okay, so I've been working on & off, on a DragonBall Z mod for a few years now. I'm about 90% finished with characters. It's currently only a one company game world. However, that is for a good reason. I'm using the Narrative option to made in game events happen as they did in the Anime/movies. To the best of my research tells me the events of the Dead Zone movie can be placed into the series timeline between episodes "The End, The Beginning" of the Piccolo Jr. Saga and "The New Threat" of the Vegeta Saga. So it starts with Garlic Jr. stuff & goes from there. People debut as the time progresses. So Raditz would be next & so on. I've got it set up to at least go to the Buu Saga. Things could change, but for now, I'm happy with that point. It can be played really however you want. But my original idea was to have long gaps inbetween sagas. That way the characters can age appropriately. The games narratives alert you when a new saga begins, however i'm aware it can be missed. So maybe I'll add a note to go with it in the download file so you will know when a new saga is starting.

The game still needs work, but I wanted to at least make a post & gauge interest. I plan on playing it regardless. But as a huge DBZ fan. I assume people here would probably like it as well. The lions share of the games character are taken from the 9000verse mod. I however added a whole bunch of missing or glossed over characters that weren't in the 9000verse mod. Anyways, I also wanted to show some of the pictures I've been adding to TEW. All of these pictures have been found thanks to that Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle game. I just took the PNG's & combine them to make these awesome looking images.

Those are just a few of the massive amount I am working on.

    Here are a bunch I uploaded: https://imgur.com/a/yxtZnxH

BTW, they may look a bit blurry in the links but when you play TEW they look fine.

I had already added all of the pictures for this mod, but I found this Dokkan games picture files & just think they all look so cool that I had to re-do all of my pictures for the mod. Makes me feel like I'm not scumming off of the hard work of 9000verse anyways, so it's a win-win for me.

I hope some people take an interest in this. Thanks for reading.

  11. 10 defenses is a very fair number for the Epic Reigns. I did some research (and excluded house show title defenses since those don't happen in TEW).

For the WWE Championship, 20 out of 136 reigns would qualify.

WWE World Heavyweight title, it was 2 out of 55.

WCW World title, it is 3 out of 64.

NWA World title (counting the TNA and WCW years), it is 45 out of 96, which is almost half.

ECW World title, it is 11 out of 33.

ROH World title has 14 out of 30 qualifying, so another where it's almost half.

IWGP Heavyweight title is 3 out of 69.

GHC Heavyweight title is 2 out of 32.

AJPW Triple Crown is only 1 out of 62.

AAA Mega title is 1 out of 17.

So for most companies, it really is a rare feat to have an "Epic Reign" and then there are a few outliers where it is a bit more common.

I love that you took the time to post this!

NWA isn't as much of a surprise, as it is just a showcase for how often they defend the title & have somewhat lengthy reigns. Japan is a weird case because title defenses are not an every month thing. I've seen periods of time where they didn't defend the title for like 6 months. "If I recall correctly."

I know this isn't the thread to have this convo so Imma shut up now.

  12. Same, such a cool little feature. At the moment the game considers a 5x champion as more impressive than someone who has held the title for 5 years, so this is great.

I initially thought 10 defenses may be too few, but looking through the Triple Crown and IWGP defenses, only 4 reigns have had 10 or more, so 10 seems a fair number.

I thought the same thing for a second. But in my NJPW saves. Heavyweight champions usually defend the title 4 or 5 times at most in a years time. Usually WK, Defense against the New Japan cup winner, maybe a rando after the BOSJ tournament & finally on anyone he lost to during the G1. So 10 should theoretically be like a 2 year reign as well. WWE mite be a different story though.

  13. I can't recall if he's mentioned this but I hope in 2020 you have the option of moving a title from your main company, down to the dev company. I just bought the NWA World & tag titles & wanted to send the titles to developmental. I don't want to send them for a one off or anything, I just wanted the titles to be defended down there without needing to make fake titles with none of the linage.
  14. A very interesting update. I know he touched on it in older posts somewhat but I feel I should ask. How does it work in terms of making someone better or worse at playing a babyface role or heel role? I mean, over time. Do they get better at playing the role? Say someone sucks at playing a heel but I see them as a heel. Can I keep them as a heel & they will eventually get better at it? I know you said the 0-100 score is gone so I was wondering if there was a way to see the progression? Attributes sound like more of a hard line for explaining to the player if someone can, or can not play the role.
  15. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Hashasheen" data-cite="Hashasheen" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Clearly he came back too soon.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It would certainly seem that way. If the game was set up to sometimes have a wrestler re-injure themselves. That would defiantly be the case. Speaking of which, how annoying could that potentially be? You have a big star get hurt, then they come back. Then a match or two back, they re-injure themselves. That might be a bad addition if they did it.</p>
