  1. Alright so I played around and figured it out a bit. When adding players where they'd have all 0's despite ratings, it was a simple solution: The override ratings for a newly added player start at 0 instead of -1. Change them to -1 and they appear as they should. In order to start a season past 2015, you have to go into the public documents folder (mine was at): C:\Users\Public\Documents\GDS\Fast Break Pro Basketball 3\Historical Leagues\North America\Leagues and edit USA1 to have data for the years past 2015. USA2 is d-league if you'd want that as well. I just copied everything for 2016-2021. And then you also have to do each individual team much the same way. This part is time consuming. They are right next to the league file under: C:\Users\Public\Documents\GDS\Fast Break Pro Basketball 3\Historical Leagues\North America\Teams And then once these are done, the league will load successfully for the extra years, and the league(s) under available leagues will be updated with the new seasons added. And now there's an interesting development. When I was adding 2021 players, the historical database does not allow the birth year to be past 2000. You can put them in as 2000 (or whatever you want) and then after loading change it to 2001 or later with no issue. I'm not sure how the game handles potential for young players. Some seem to actually get potential past their current ratings but some will be a 2nd year player with seemingly 0 potential. Of course that can be changed through the override, but I'd rather the game try to do it rather than me trying to predict players.
  2. Hello! Hopefully someone's still around that may have some experience with this. I've been messing with the historical data as my favorite mode to do is the historical shuffle and I've been trying to add more recent players. Now, if I edit a player, the edited player shows up no problem in the mode. However, if I add a player, they never show up. Furthermore, if I add someone and try to use the 2015-17 version (without shuffle), they show up with all 0's as their attributes despite having ratings in the database. So I'm asking if there's something else I have to edit in order to get adding players and 2015 and later players to work. Also, is there something to edit to add more years to the historical database past 2017?
  3. I am now sitting at March of 2008 still as WEFF with the default rosters. Champions: Featherweight: 25yo Erin Distefano (6 defences, 19-3) I mentioned her in my last post as my best prospect, and now she’s probably my 2nd best fighter having gone 10-0 since. She took the belt from Shaunaugh Stoltman who had beaten Piper Evergood. She’s currently my most popular fighter at max Canadian popularity and one of two fighters at high level international (Canada, the other being Pamela O’Neil). Bantamweight: 25yo KT ‘The Flash’ McManamara (0 defences, 15-6) McManamara really the main reason for the update, as she unseated 33yo Pamela O’Neill after 19 title defences. She really hasn’t been overly successful in the company otherwise (7-4 in WEFF), but she’s quickly improved and is currently on a 5-win streak. Flyweight: 29yo Natalie ‘Rocky’ Rogers (6 defences, 21-4) Rogers was also mentioned earlier as a strong fighter who never held the belt. Fortunately for her, she achieved that milestone and has held on to it dominantly through 5 KOs/TKOs and a 49-46,50-45,50-45 unanimous decision. She’s my best overall fighter without a doubt. Strawweight: 25yo ‘Alley Cat’ Lissette Mercier (6 defences, 18-1) The Strawweight division was added after my previous post, and Mercier has been the only fighter to hold the belt after winning the introduction tournament. She’s a one-dimensional fighter that relies on using her strength to out-wrestle her opponent. Despite her strong takedown, ground striking, and submission skills, Mercier is content on smothering her opponents against the cage, with all 6 of her defences being 5-round decisions. I do wish the control time was tracked, because it literally is all she does. Other notables: 33yo Pamela ‘The Truth’ O’Neill (32-2): Obviously O’Neill is worth mentioning. She was the Bantamweight champion from February 2002 to February 2008. Unfortunately, her age means her skills are on a quick decline and she’s no longer able to continue her dominance. Who knows, maybe she has another run in her. 24yo ‘The Natural Born Killer’ Shaunaugh Stoltman (17-7): Stoltman has consistently been top 3 in the division. While she can beat any other fighter, current champion Distefano has currently been insurmountable in their two previous matchups. Their last bout ended only 39 seconds into the fight when Stoltman was TKO’d. 24yo Idina Mickelwhite (13-6): The last to round out the top 3 of the featherweights, Mickelwhite and Stoltman are often trading #2 and #3. And much like Stoltman, Mickelwhite currently sits 0-2 against the current champion Distefano. I don’t usually like giving fighters more than 2 fights against a champion in a short period, but these two are clearly the top challengers and so it’s difficult to justify doing otherwise. 22yo Elisa ‘The Main Man’ Gosselin (8-0, 3-0 in WEFF): Pretty much a pure boxer, Gosselin is who I’d pick for my best prospect. Although she has quickly risen in the ranks and sits at #4 in the weak Strawweight division, she is far from a complete, rounded fighter and will need to improve to truly be a highlight of the division. 29yo ‘Glamourous G.’ Gianna Russo (14-8), 30yo ‘Wild Thing’ Katy-Jayne Paulson (19-6), and 33yo Rennaya Rives (22-2): These are the fighters I’m highlighting as the best fighters to never hold a belt. Russo and Paulson are #2 and #3 respectively in the Bantamweight division and O’Neill’s reign of terror is over, so they both have the opportunity to be at the top. Rives has won every fight of hers in the company except her two title bouts. Both of those bouts were TKO losses, one to Honey Due and one to current champion Natalie Rogers (Roger’s most recent defence).
  4. I am currently sitting at June 2005 as the CEO of WEFF with the default rosters. Champions: Featherweight: 29yo Piper Evergood (1 defence, 18-4 overall) She’s been dominant, sitting on a 10-win streak. She took the title from an un-retired 35yo Hester Maclean, whom she knocked out in 2 punches. Until her recent title defence the belt had a streak of 7 bouts that ended up with new champions. Bantamweight: 30yo Pamela O’Neill (10 defences, 23-1 overall) If Evergood has been dominant, O’Neill has been otherworldly. Her last championship match gave her the worst odds I’ve seen in a long time at -580. 2-time Fighter of the Year, with the other and most recent going to Honey Due. Flyweight: 30yo Daniela Sadorra (0 defences, 16-1 overall) She won it in a one-night tournament after it was vacated due to the former champion Honey Due retiring at age 32 after 3 title defenses. Other notables: 28yo Dajit Samir: 15-4-1 record, very talented but she never won a title due to being decimated on takedowns. Literally felt like a 100% rate against her. Former #4 pound for pound fighter. Currently unemployed because she was suspended for PEDs. She is finally improving her takedown defense though. 21yo Shanaugh Stoltman: 12-5 record. Former Rookie Fighter of the Year, starting off her career 8-0 and a featherweight title win over Alyson Arroway (former #2 pound for pound) at 19 years old. Hasn’t found her groove since, going 1-2 over her last 3 bouts (all against former champions). 22yo Erin Distefano: 9-3 record. Probably my best prospect fighter who is sitting at #16 pound for pound. Her last fight was a loss to champion Piper Evergood. Has a 98.4% boxing power rating. Mhmm. 27yo Katy-Jayne Paulson (13-5) and 27yo Natalie Rogers (13-4): My two best fighters who have never held a championship. Paulson has been blocked by O’Neill, going 0-2 against her in title bouts. Rogers just has never had an opportunity, pulling out of the aforementioned title tournament due to “not feeling good enough” or something like that.
