  1. Anyone got a suggestion or answer for my tv question? How much for income for a 25 pop fed on an internet subscription broadcaster?
  2. How much money can I expect from a weekly TV show in wrestleworld? Saw that the smallest broadcaster is willing to take me on at 25 pop but the only catch is that i would have to boost my Music production to inhouse, which comes with an extra 10,000 dollar a month fee. Im barely making a profit running 1 show a month as it is. Most of that is coming from my sponsership money. Wrestleworld is an internet subscription model. Do you think it would give me close to or more than 10,000 a month? I dont want to bump up my production to get a tv show to only get like an extra 300 dollars per show. Basically, will gettin a show bankrupt me or is it a good idea here?
  3. Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone else has had any really cool/interesting/fun last minute changes to a show while the show is running. I didnt think I would really use the feature but I just did for something pretty awesome. I made my own company with 0 pop. Ive just started to grow and expand into tag teams. I had a mini 1 night tournament with 4 teams. Acid and Stuntman (devil may care) won one semifinal and had johnny needham and ralph liota (the hearbreak express) win the other. I had booked Devil May Care to win finals in a ladder match. However, Heartbreak express got a REALLY good rating in their match and they also got a bonus for their tag experience. It surprised me. Because of their strong showing, I actually decided to switch it up and book Express to win the first ever Tag Titles. Also found out Stuntman and Acid were both willing to take a crazy bump. Match ended up being good and Heartbreak Express are doing well with their tag title run so far. Anyone else make a major change last minute like that in the middle of the show?
  4. So first off, Love the new game. Im just kinda disapointed in one aspect/feature that was promised and I am just not seeing. I read that who you have on your show can greatly increase or decrease attendance. I thought this was awesome and actually made hiring a big star thats sort of out of your league for a one off show actually worth while. I started as a 0/0/0/0 fed (basically a fed with nothing, no pop, etc). Ran 4 shows and attendance was 10, 17, 20, then 23. I signed Cedric Alexander for a big event, hes easily 30 more pop than anyone ive had on a show so far. Only problem is my attendance only jumped up to... 24. An increase of 1 fan. Is this feature more of a random thing and not a gaurentee attendance increase? or did I not pre-book far enough in advance? is their something in the options menu i didnt see to turn this on/off? If it helps, I only signed him because Ernest Youngman broke his neck a week before I was gonna have him win the first ever world title. So I think the pre-booked match was only prebooked for like 2-3 days.
  5. <p>For anyone whos been following my game, Im still runnin hot with Edd Stone as my champion in my 0/0/0/0 game. He has held the title for 2 years and 1 month. Long running feud with heel authority figure Sam Keith. I just managed to get Greg Gauge (sam keiths kid), to sign with me for an absurd pay per appaerance contract (im still at regional, not cult yet), with about a 38k downside agreement. Just had him and sam keith double team Edd Stone after the maine vent of my big monthly event. </p><p> </p><p> about 6 months ago I had Greg Gauge on a loan to my fed and him and stone went to a 60 minute draw. Now that Gauge is actually on my roster, not sure what i am going to do. Ultimate goal is to get the titel off of stone and onto gauge. Not sure if ill do just 1 match and put the title on gauge, or have them do another time limit draw, setting up gauge vs stone 3, having gauge go over. I am going to somehow or another get the title off of stone, so i can set up a stone vs Sam Keith match, and open up every face on my roster to fight for the title.</p>
  6. Small update on my game. I asked for booking advice here a few days ago. I went ahead with the Duane Stone vs Edd Stone match to main event my big monthly show. I didnt get a PPV deal yet but I did manage a deal to broadcast on regional tv <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Los Deportes! I somehow pulled a B+ rating between these two. Edd Stone is just a legend in my game <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I swear I could throw him in there with Fearless Blue and still get a C+ lol
  7. <p>thanks! Those are great ideas from both of you. I am going to run a little mix of both suggestions. Im gonna have Edd vs Duane at this upcoming big end of the month event, but have Duane and Edd embrace in the ring afterwords. Ill have Keith come down and get mad that Duane couldnt get the job done and that he is sick of the Stone family. Have duane and edd double powerbomb Keith through a table.</p><p> </p><p> This leads to a big Main event for the next month, Edd and Duane teaming up together one night only to try and win the WWL (Alliance that I created) tag belts together.</p><p> </p><p> Ill then have Greg Gauge (Sam Keiths son incase anyone else reading isnt aware), run in and cost the Stones the tag titles.</p><p> </p><p> Thiiiis leads into a Gauge vs Stone match and I can turn the whole feud from "Edd stone isnt living up to the stone legacy" into "Keith thinks his family is better than stones"</p><p> </p><p> aaaaaaand then eventually somehow lead this into Edd Stone saying hes overcame every single legend, 2nd generation star, etc that Keith has brought in, and challenges Sam Keith himself for a 1 on 1 match to finally end by far the longest feud ive ever ran.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> You guys literally gave me like an extra 6-8 months out of this feud when I was debating ending it lol. Thanks.</p>
  8. <p>Ugh, I am very torn right now on what to do. Im currently 16 months into a huge Sam Keith vs Edd Stone fued. Pretty much Keith keeps bringing in guys to try to get the title off of Stone, and saying Stone is a disgrace to the family name as he is a high flying party guy instead of the traditional tech focused Stones. I just made plans to bring in the older brother, Duane Stone on an a talent loan from NOTBW. Well... I run 1 show, have keith announce that Stone will face a mystery partner that "knows how to uphold the stone name". The very next day....... Dan Stone dies at 73 years old. </p><p> </p><p> I dont know what to do. Do I cancel the whole Duane Stone match since I didnt debut or announce yet? I was planning on having Duane be the heel since Edd Stone is Face. Seems a little disrespectful to have a family feud right after his death. Or..... I could do a Face vs Face match and have it be like a little memorial show? </p><p> </p><p> I want some peoples opinions/votes.</p><p> </p><p> 1. Drop the whole thing and just have Stone fued with some other random heel.</p><p> </p><p> 2. Have a face vs face match and dedicate it to Dan Stone in a respectful memorial type show?</p><p> </p><p> 3. Go super tasteless and bring Dan Stones death into the storyline and have Keith and Duane get NUCLEAR heat by having them claim Edd Stones party attitude caused Dan Stones death?</p>
  9. This is exactly why I never use high spots. I book longer matches. The only time I book something less than 15 minutes really is for a squash match or in the rare times that I have an older/power guy with crap stamina and want to avoid that penalty, and in that case high spots wouldnt really fit.
  10. I actually never use high spots as a match type. The A rating is more due to Edd Stone being an A pop in that region, Flash being i think a C- or something, both having pretty damn good stats all around, and going into the event with a decent storyline rating, Both guys having a high gimmick rating, and my Product settings def more in favor of high flying and tech and less so brawling. And yes, Stone is absolutely ripping it up in my fed. Thats why I agreed to give him a LOADED contract to keep him from signing with NOTBW and leaving. Im paying everyone anywhre from 500 to about 1300 per show with no downside, and Edd Stone is getting paid 7k per show, gaurenteed downside of 30k, wage matching, creative control, and hiring veto, promised to be used as an icon, and prob some other perk im forgetting. Im literally giving him anything he wants until I can get to Cult and lock him down with a written contract. Him leaving would basically destroy my entire show. Hes pretty much my 80s era Hulk Hogan. Entire fed is built around him.
  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="LlamaSquad" data-cite="LlamaSquad" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This is brilliant. If I were you, I’d look at PPV networks in your area and see if any will actually want to carry you in a year’s time.<p> </p><p> What ratings have you been getting in the matches?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I have been scoring solid B ratings for all of Edd Stones title matches. The easiest PPV carrier to get is Myselect USA which requires E+ across america. Considering that I dont have tv, and i have to run almost every other show in my home region to keep me afloat financially, its gonna take awhile to get a ppv deal. Those 0.4 pop gains per show really makes growing pop across the country really hard and a grind. Im honestly ballparking maybe 2 more years until a ppv deal? </p><p> </p><p> Also, my last show actually scored an all time high rating for my company, and A match rating. Edd Stone defended against Yellow flash.</p>
  12. Thanks for the info dude. I actually really like your own canon idea too haha. Loooong story short, I have a regional promotion, soon to get a TV deal and eventually getting a ppv deal. Ive been running an Edd Stone vs Sam Keith storyline for 10 months now. Basically Keith is playing the evil heel authority figure hell bent on getting the title off Stone. Keith is crapping on stone for not holding up the Stone family legacy and basically being a party animal joke. Your idea that Cornell was the one to put Keith away is perfect for me! I can have Edd Stone drop the pipebomb promo that As much crap as Keith talks about stone not being a "true stone", I can have him remind him that Keith was always 2nd best to Cornell and couldnt put him away. Also, I may just go ahead and check out your diary
  13. A question for all you long term fans. I know that in this current version of the c-verse, Sam Keith is retired. Question is, is there anywhere in a previous version or any lore that says what Sam Keiths last match was? The most i could come up with is that it was prob for TCW sometime in 2011. If there is an official answer, I would love to hear it. Maybe is says somewhere in someone elses Bio that they were the one to beat Keith, or if it said something in a previous version of TEW (I was never much into the c-verse until TEW2016). If no official answer, could someone come up with a decent answer that would make sense in the canon of the c-verse? asking because in my current game I am going to bring him out of retirement for one more match and would like to know who he last fought. thanks
  14. So update on my game. Ive been out of work (dont return back for another 2 and a half weeks), so ive played a TON of TEW lately. I am running a 0/0/0/0 promotion and up to a point im ok financially. Edd Stone was my biggest signing as for some reason, TCW decided not to resign him. I snatched him up and put the world title on him almost right away. He won it in october of 2016. first few title defenses were random whatnots. I then debut Sam Keith in a authority roll. Basically saying Stone is an embarresmant to the stone family name. Every month, Keith tries to get the title off of Stone. month 1: Keith forces stone to defend against the architect at my big end of the month show. Stone retains in a 30 min ultimate submission match. month 2: Keith brings in Ernest Youngman as his storyline protege. Edd Stone wins in a standerd match. month 3: Stone beats youngman in a rematch, this time a 30 min ultimate submission match. Storyline was that youngman could do what the architect couldnt, hence the same stipulation match. Month 4: Keith brings in Bruce the Giant. Keith says Bruce is a true legend like all the Stones except Edd. Edd stone basically says that he will prove hes a legend and will do what no other Stone was able to do, beat the giant. Edd Stone ends up winning with a flash pinfall. At this period, giant was a B pop across america and stone was only a C- in new england (my home region where i run all my big shows) Month 5: Edd stone gets chokeslammed through the ring by the giant on my weekly show. Sets up a rematch for a last man standing at the big end of the month show. Stone ends up winning the last man standing match to retain his belt and claim that he is now a legend. Month 6: I had been pushing El Mitico for a few months and he was undefeated. Had Sam Keith manage El Mitico to try to beat Edd Stone. This lead to a 1 on 1 match at the next big show where Edd Stone won in at the time, the longest match of my company at 43 minutes. Month 7: Thanks to my alliance, I was able to use a loan to get Freddy Huggins on my roster. I ran an angle where they would re-unite for the first time in over a year to go for the WWL (the alliance im in with a few other feds) Tag team titles currently held by some team in Japan. I had Huggins turn on Stone during that match. Then had huggins beat him down and steal the world title as the show went off the air. Month 8: Stone comes out on my weekly shows and wants answers. Sam Keith comes out and says that he was the mastermind behind this whole scheme. Keith wanted to embarrass Stone infront of the world and show that hes not worthy of anymore gold. Huggins announces that if Stone wants his belt back, he has to beat him 1 on 1 at the next big show. Stone and Huggins fight eachother in a cage match with Stone getting the win. At this point, Stone is a solid B in Pop in New england. (amazing considering im a regional compnay still. I did have to give him an exclusive PPA contract LOADED with extras and paying him way more than anyone else on my roster just to keep him from signing with someone else) Month 9: Keith sets up another opponent, Avalance Takano, who Stone has never faced off 1 on 1 with yet. Kind of a simple month storyline wise. Stone and Keith cut promos on eachother, blah blah blah, Stone wins the main event to keep his title. Month 10: Keith gets sick of Edd Stones title reign which is now over a year. He forces Stone to defend against 5 other heels. Keith offers his own Hall of Immortals ring to anyone who can win this upcomming 6 way match. This match is a 6way, 30 min iron man match. No way to actually do this in game, but my thought process was that the heels would try to pin eachother willingly and Stone would have to break up the pin. Towards the end, the heels end up arguing on who gets to walk away with the title, and Stone ends up knocking them all out and getting a bunch of quick pinfalls right at the end of the match to pull off the upset. Result : Edd Stone retains and wakls away still champ. So there you have it. Edd Stone has now been champ for 13 months, with 10 of these months being tied in with the same storyline with Sam Keith. This will EVENTUALLY lead to a 1 on 1 match, stone vs keith. Im trying to stretch it out untill I get a PPV deal which honestly could be another year off lol. Honestly thinking of running a storyline where Stone assaults Keith (stone has actually not attacked him yet this whole time, although keith has jumped him several times) and then keith has stone arrested. I feel that would be a good way to write Stone off TV for 30 or 60 days. Also, Stone has somehow managed to get A pop in New England during this storyline which is crazy considering my next my pop guy is Keith at B- in new england followed by Yellow Flash all the way down at D+ Edd Stone in my fed right now is the equivillant of having The Rock wrestling in Evolve Wrestling today lol. Just WAY WAY WAAAAAAAAY better and more over than the company hes in.
  15. So, same game as above, im doing pretty good in my 0/0/0/0 fed. started an alliance that included myself, APW (Australlian Pro wrestling), TCW, PSW, EMLL, and PGHW. This was basically meant as a worldwide alliance for the top guys not in the COTT, Japan Movement, or the big fed SWF. I made a world title that actually has been defended quite often. In a few months, the title was defended atleast once on every one of these promotions. Pretty cool actually considering thats out of my control and ive heard other people complain that alliance titles are never defended. Highlight so far has been that the alliance champ Eisaku Kunomasu defended the title against Jay Chord in the semi-main event of TCW Total Mayhem 21. To me, that gives the belt alot of legitimacy. In bad news, I went to check on that alliance title and saw PSW was missing. I checked the news section and just saw, in June of 2017, the evil SWF has bought and disbanded PSW Thats actually a pretty sad moment. PSWs last show was PSW Masters of War. A sold out crowed of 2,000 in Pennsylvania Park. Johnny Martin beat Ash Cambell in the main event to retain the PSW world title.
  16. nevermind. figured it out. I was going to the top of the screen and clicking to alliance tab where you can view the alliances. Apparently you have to click alliances from the office screen under external and hit join alliance. Odd that you cant join it from the alliance tab? :/
  17. <p>how int he hell do i join an alliance? I wanted to join the COTT but for the life of me cant figure out how to join or apply to join or anything. Is it even possible?? </p><p> </p><p> The reason I want to join is because I want to push a tag team on my roster and put some tag belts on them, but I dont really have a big enough roster yet to create a decent tag division. Plan is to just join the COTT and put the alliance tag belts on these 2 guys and have them defend against a few random teams in my fed and then defend on other shows in the alliance. If anyone could help me that would be great.</p>
  18. <p>I started a 0/0/0/0 game. Im about a year and a half in and just started a storyline thats going to last over a year. </p><p> </p><p> Edd stone was somehow a free agent and I managed to sign him. I pretty much gave him a megapush as an unstoppable heel and put my World Title on him. After 5 months of a world title reign that kinda went nowhere, i decided to switch things up.</p><p> </p><p> I turned him face and basically made him this huge party animal like his bio refers to. I signed Sam Keith (YES!! THAAAAAAT SAM KEITH!!) to a contract. Basically what ive run so far is that Sam Keith is saying that Edd Stone is an embaressment to the Stone Family name. </p><p> </p><p> NOTBW gave Stone a big contract now that ive built him up. I was at a point where I had just gotten out of the red and was making an OK profit each month. I decided to take the financial hit and offer stone an absurd contract to keep him. Mind you, I am barely a regional fed at this point, nowhere near hitting cult or any sort of TV deal or anything. Up tot his point, most wrestlers on my roster were 1,000 per show or under with a few at the 1300 to 1500 range. Edd Stones new contract to keep him...... 7000 per show, 30,000 a month gaurentee, 30,000 signing bonus, 20% bonus per event, wage match and hiring veto, use as one of my icons, never push lower then main..... for 5 years. Exclusive PPA. Ugh...</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, I guess im all in with this storyline. I ran a few angles after that saying that Stone was leaving the company. Sam Keith was playing up the heel aspect and saying its good that Stone is going back to canada to learn how to "wrestle properly and cut out the party bs". I then had Stone pull out the win at the monthly large event and then announced that he is resigned with my fed and would rather party then become a boring Stone.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> My idea is to run this keith vs Stone fued for awhile. I dont have an onscreen boss, so im thinking of either announcing stone as the owner all along, or have him "buy" the company and become the new boss. Keith will try to screw stone at every chance and get the belt off of him.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I am then going to have Stone drop the title to someone with Keith screwing him somehow like being the special guest ref. I will then have Stone storyline fired. Then have him arrested. All leading to somehow an Edd Stone vs Sam Keith match. even in his late 50s, I think Keith has enough left in him to have an epic match with Stone.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This will be the first time Ive actually run a storyline that lasts longer than a year. Im honestly hoping to stretch this whole thing out to almost 2 full years. I figure by that time, I will be able to hopefully land a small PPV broadcast deal and ahve Edd Stone vs Sam Keith main event my first ever PPV</p>
  19. Do tag teams build experience if they are part of a 6 or 8 man tag? I am just breaking into the mexico market in my game and I would like to maybe create a 6man tag title and division. Wondering how experience works in this situation. 1. does a 2 man team competing inside of a 3vs3 man match gain any expereince as a team? 2. does a 2 mans team experience give a match bonus in a 3 vs 3 like it would in a 2v2 match? 3. Is it worth it to create multiple 2 man tag teams for my 6 man division? example, if i have wrestlers 1, 2, and 3 in a trio, would it make sense to create an official tag team with wrestler 1 and 2, another one with 2 and 3, and a final tag with members 1 and 3 so they all gain experience? 4. Does creating a stable have ANY effect? I always assumed it was kind of just there to help the user keep track and that it didnt actually give any match bonuses.
  20. how far into debt can you get as a company? Is it a certain monetary limit or can you only be in the red for a certain amount of months before you go bankrupt?
  21. I am not going to say that this game is the be all end all to MMA sims, Adam could always surprise us, but I honestly think that there isnt a whole lot more room for improvement. Ive only played the week trial and a few hours of the full game, but it seems like at its core, its the same (not a bad thing), but with all the cool helpful, streamlining features. WMMA4 was near perfect, and WMMA5 added a ton of helpful stuff and polished it off. No need to re-invent the wheel. I feel like a 6th game in the series would be sort of just a roster update and not really worthy of the quality weve come to expect. I think its the right decision to end the series before it becomes a sub-quality cash grab.
  22. thanks dude! wicked quick response and it worked. I would have NEVER looked there. I didnt even know the user had a contract in the editor because they dont have a practical ingame contract.
  23. <p>user chareceter status?</p><p> </p><p> I am trying to do a modified RTG challenge. I selected my user charecter as an owner, and started with a 0/0/0/1000 fed. I tried to put myself into a tag team but my name is unavailable. I saw that I am set as a non-wrestler. I used the ingame editor to set him to wrestler, and set status to active, saved, and advanced a day. My guy is still listed as status-non wrestler even though i will go check in the editor and says active there. What am I doing wrong? Is there anyway to fix this and set my status as active wrestler without having to restart the save??</p>
  24. <p>Jericho99, If you hadnt have just run that show, I would have had the perfect idea for you. Have Styles cash in, win the Raw Title. Then have Ambrose cash in right after and beat Styles. Have the show go off the air in confusion and the announcers confused on what just happened. Next night on Raw, have Ambrose come down with the Title, stating that althought it was the smackdown MITB match he won, the MITB contract never specifically said that he had to cash it in for the Smackdown title. Have Styles come out with a replica belt and claim that he is the true champion. Lead them to having a "unification" bout at the following PPV.</p><p> </p><p> However, since you cant go back in time, have Rollins take the belt back from Styles, build this whole fued over the fact that he was taken advantage of and say the title loss was tainted. Have rollins win back the title in a 60 min iron man match, only for Ambrose to cash in on rollins after an hour long battle and take the belt back off of him. Again, use the angle that the smackdown MITB contract doesnt specifically say which title he can cash in on. Plus, who doesnt want an excuse to start a Rollins/Ambrose feud?</p>
