NICE!</p>
  2. Just started my RTG (albeit a Lite version; come on, I'm a relative noob!). As promised, I'm writing it up in diary form, and it can be seen here: <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534891" rel="external nofollow">http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534891</a>
  3. I think I'm going to try this at some point soon. If I do, I'll write it up!
  4. <p>I'm having some fun with my MAW game (admittedly I tinkered with some stuff that others probably wouldn't). I've got a couple tips from my end.</p><p> </p><p> - Sign El Mitico, Jr., Ernest Youngman, and Logan Wolfsbaine. All three are fairly cheap, and they're excellent workers.</p><p> </p><p> - I agree with a few others: Expect Greg Gauge to be gone sooner rather than later. BHOTWG poached him six months into my game, and by that point I'd moved on to pushing other guys on top.</p><p> </p><p> - George Wolfe isn't all that great as a singles wrestler, but I've had some fun putting him with Lisa Bowen and tagging him with newly-signed Ozzie Golden. If Golden isn't available, I imagine Hal Harvard would make for a cheaper alternative.</p>

Considering this is in Sept 2016 when he has 59 psych, Xavi Ferrera isnt above 60 psych, Gargantuan and Hells Bouncer are big men and im a perf fed... I am more than impressed. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Please dont let him get poached from me <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Logan Wolfsbaine is a LOT of fun to book. He's perfect as a project for a smaller promotion to build up. The trick is to sign him to an exclusive PPA before someone can poach him!</p>
  7. Sort of a noob question, but a question nevertheless: Is there any penalty for running a face vs. face or heel vs. heel match in TEW16?
  8. Cameron Jones and Syd Collier have been fun for me to book in MAW. They wouldn't be main-eventers or anything, but if you need a midcard heel tag team, they're decent hands that could have room to grow.
  9. Much obliged! That's the reason I asked. Other people have been around these parts MUCH longer than I have, so I wanted to pick brains and see what I could do better. Thanks for the insight!
  10. OK, I figure this is as good a place as any to ask for some feedback. I've now gone through a few months of my MAW dynasty (click there to go to the thread). I've run some good shows, I'd like to think I've got a few compelling storylines going on, and I've even brought in some genuine big names. However, in terms of engagement, my stuff just isn't getting over. No predictions for cards I post, very little feedback, etc. I'm not trying to pander for attention, I just want to make my dynasty thread as good as it can be. Any suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to think I'm doing decent work, but if there's something I should be doing that I'm not doing, I'd like to know about it.
  11. I'm coming up on my first show in my MAW diary, which can be found here: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534324 Hopefully, you guys aren't disappointed. The show'll go live tomorrow morning; I'm writing up the forum version now. Until then, feel free to make your predictions!
  12. <p>Decided to take some advice I saw elsewhere and started with a small promotion, since I have no familiarity with the CornellVerse. I just ran a show as NYCW, and I had some fun doing it.</p><p> </p><p> My main event was decided for me, as Roger Cage got poached by USPW right off the bat. He was my champion, so I had to move the belt to Honest Frank to end that storyline. I also brought in Fro Sure and the Masked Cougar. Fro lost to Man Mountain Cahill (curse you, creative control!), while Cougar had a 59 individual rating in his match with Steve Flash, which seems high to me given how small NYCW is.</p><p> </p><p> I may kick the tires on a couple of smaller promotions before jumping up to a bigger one. I'm not sure. But this was a fun show to book since I had absolutely no idea what I was working with!</p>
