  1. PSW October 2022: Medium company.

Kicking off an invasion e storyline. Just bought CZCW doing farewell show then Phil Vibert claims he owns CZCW. Leading to Unifying the title's at December.

    PSW Champion- Logan Wolfsbaine

    PSW National- ZomBoy

PSW Tag Team- Nelson Callum & Ash Campbell

    DAVE Unified- Big Cat Brandon

    DAVE Brass Knuckles- Hell's Bouncer

    DAVE Tag Team-Latino Kings

    CZCW Champion- Al Coleman

    CZCW Tag Team- American Cobras

    CZCW Xtreme- Jonnie Perez

  2. That all sounds good to me. If you REALLY wanted to fuel the Survivor Series 1998 comparison, you could have Ernest & Logan interfere to help Nelson beat Ash, and the trio could reform the Steel Circle. Then you could redo the whole chase arc with Ash working through the members of the Steel Circle instead of the DAVE invaders.

That three headed monster would be insane! I've been thinking about it all day think Im going to do a 4 Man Tourney. Logan Wolfsbaine will represent PSW as champ, Big Cat Brandon will represent DAVE as champ, Al Coleman will represent CZCW, and Nelson Callum will win a tourney to be "joker" or whatever you wanna call it. Nelson beats Al, Logan beats Big Cat, and Nelson beats Logan due to help from Phil Vibert (DAVE Manager).

On one hand this could be opportunity to "make" someone a star, but on other hand it's such an achievement I wanna maximize it's potential. Nelson hasn't had that megarun in my 3 year save. So moving it foward to now & adding a layer to crowning Ash Campbell as champion is what I think is best. I'll just have to be creative in regards to Ash's title reign & how to make that bigger & better. That's what makes this fun, but I'll have time! Thanks for your input.

  3. Why don’t you have Hell’s Bouncer win the PSW title instead of Brandon? HB is even bigger and scarier than Brandon, so it looks legit. Then Brandon can reward HB for his success by giving him the DAVE title, so HB is the unified DAVE-PSW Champion. Meanwhile, Ash and Coleman can feud for a couple months over the Coastal Zone title, which ends with Ash winning the belt. From there you can build to the big unification match between Ash & HB. Everybody interferes and it’s a giant cluster, but in the end Ash slays the giant to a huge pop. Then it’ll be even more heartbreaking (hehe, that’s Nelson’s nickname) when Nelson swoops in and beats his buddy. Come to think of it, this would work even better if Nelson won a MITB-type match and cashed in on Ash right away. Can you fit that in?

I was gonna use Hells Bouncer as mid card champ and feud with ZomBoy(very popular face) in long term. But I really like your idea. Hells Bouncer is 36 so it’s time to push him or let him fodder. I feel like if I was starting from scratch your idea is better. I’m too far committed to Brandon as the DAVE leader/alpha to suddenly change to HB. Maybe I can include HB in tourney and Unify titles and create hostile takeover of DAVE group. Big Cat passing the torch to Hell’s Bouncer makes sense. I could make it work by not having story end at PSW homecoming in June (I’m in October) and not Unifying titles right away. This is tough call!

So after Homecoming (our Mania) I have Battlebowl 5 tag matches, winners in battle Royal, and winner gets title shot next month. Even though Ash has never won a “big” match he beat Nelson in a friendly 1on1. So Nelson would beat Ash by cheating. It’s not exactly MITB but close enough. This to me would be like Survivor Series 98’ and Nelson would be like the Rock.

  4. I'm PSW in Sept 2022. We are medium size company. Recently kicked up a DAVE Invasion storyline w/ Big Cat Brandon, Phil Vibert, Eddie Peak, Latino Kings, & Hell's Bouncer. CZCW has been back & forth from small to medium but can't make it due to competing with SWF(also medium) production. So I'm going to buy them out. I had chance to in 2021, but let it slip. This time feels like I have too. CZCW roster was gutted American Flash, Frankie Perez, Frankie Fernandez, California-Love Machine, and Hugh De Aske all gone.

Big Cat Brandon is the DAVE Unified champion. He only joined company in June to 1 year deal. Heavy decline set in (https://imgur.com/a/sNSfP9n).

Logan Wolfsbaine is PSW champion. He turned on Steel Circle & defeated Ernest Youngman 3x (https://imgur.com/a/G2B02GN).

Al Coleman is CZCW champion. Idc much for him so he's not going to last as champ (https://imgur.com/a/foNLHUa).

Nelson & Ash skills (Ash on left-Nelson on right) https://imgur.com/a/mnEQx8D

Originally (before CZCW purchase), I was gonna have Big Cat Brandon beat Logan Wolfsbaine really kicking into gear of DAVE taking over, and then drop to Ash Campbell (never won "the big one" type face). I figure the obvious connection to Ash & DAVE would make cool moment. Didnt like pushing Big Cat so hard, since he's only around for a year or two max. Ash first defense was going to be to partner/friend Nelson Callum. Nelson would turn heel & cheat to win title. Building to Ash eventually beating him. (James Storm/Bobby Roode or Steen/Generico type story).

But now with CZCW purchase as a possibility I feel I can do a One Night Tourney between 3 champs & 5 others. Have it set up where Nelson turns heel beating Logan Wolfsbaine in finals. This ends with Ash Campbell beating Nelson for title down the line.

I guess a third option is Ash Campbell accepts "Destiny" turns heel on PSW joins DAVE & wins the tourney. Not sure how that concludes or what to do from there.

Just unsure of what is more of a nuisance to me to push Big Cat Brandon to extreme amount & lose him year from now or to combine my main event stories of next 2 years.

  5. Okay, I've got a bit of an issue in my NYCW save, and I wanted to bring it here to see what should be done about it.

It's one-and-a-half years into the game, and Sal DiMeo is looking like an absolute star. He's having a great run with the Tri-Regional Title, and he's looking like a future main eventer for sure. The fact that Larry Vessey has taken him on as a protege only furthers his upside. I have no doubt that unless he gets poached, he is going to be a major player for NYCW. He's already scoring match ratings in the 40s, better than most of the roster.

However, the rest of his stable is languishing in the undercard with very little visible upside. Luca and Vito struggle to reach the upper 20s in match rating, and I'm pretty sure that Marino scored straight 22s for a full year. Granted, they don't wrestle as often as Sal, but I feel like I should be seeing more progress from them. To make matters worse, some of the rookie and near-rookie wrestlers that I brought in are already either surpassing them or threatening to do so.

So what should I do? Should I keep them with Sal in hopes that they will eventually kick into gear and start impressing, or should I either cut them loose or repackage them while turning Sal into a solo act?

I'd say pull in new talent in the DiMeo family like Brutus Milano or even Happy Elwood. Luca & Vita I'd keep 1 for the muscle part of stable. Id see who you have more plans longevity for. Machine Gun Marino is solid lackey. I think Stable needs a strong #2 behind Sal.

  6. After a few play through, PSW might be the best balanced roster in the game right now. Tons of classic, familiar faces added to the roster (Rich & Famous, Samoan Demolition Inc., Sayeed Ali), underrated free agents (Jedediah, Winchester, Smooth) and newly created workers (Devil Dog, Lester, ZomBoy). There’s only 26 workers on a 20 minimum roster, much lower than the typical bloated staff of seemingly every other company.

My only issue is that it doesn’t feel as much a hardcore company as a super indie. Youngman, Ferrera, Callum and Wolfsbaine don’t seem the types to be “leading a revolution”

I think PSW is set to change product type based of roster. I plan on changing them to three ring circus in my save at year 3 or 4. It's like how Paul Heyman said that ECW would've evolved into the ROH type product.

  7. Ok, so I promised I'd show off my 2024 save at some point. Some background first

2019 was a big year for TCW. Not only was a brand split started between Total Wrestling and Showcase, a women's championship was created. Also, due to the UK scene's economy crashing 21st was bought out, launching TCW to being a global product. After years of the UK scene being a wasteland of only SNP existing though, TCW decided it was time to revive the 21st brand.

Due to the 21st relaunch taking workers from both US Mens brands, there will be a TCW draft for the first time since 2019 to balance the brands out. Here is the current draft board. Who you got as your first overall pick?

    Key:

    WC- World Champ

    MC - Midcard champ

    TC - Tag Champ

Without seeing any stats I'd go with Ernest Youngman or Spencer Spade.

  8. This came to me while I was booking my NYCW save, and I wanted to know if anyone else had a similar story.

I started the game with Devastating Don on my roster, and I knew just from looking at his stats that he'd be awful. However, I wanted to keep him on and see if I could do anything with him rather than just boot him off, and I decided to do an experiment.

Rather than treating him like a monster heel, I immediately repackaged him as a comedy character and booked him as Tennessee William's buffoonish sidekick/security guard. He's always there for William's segments, and has been getting some surprisingly good notes about his ability to improvise.

I almost never use him in the ring aside from a few comedy matches against charismatic faces that are few and far between, and he spends most of his time either accompanying William or being involved in comedy sketches. Although he may not be moving the needle, he's providing fun moments and putting up decent ratings, so I think I've found a good niche for him.

Has anyone else found anything decent to do with their mediocre or outright bad workers?

I liked having Devastating Don pair with Richie Riggins. Richie tries getting Don to quit being a slob & it leads to Richie beating down Don. It makes Richie more of an arrogant jerk heel & Don sympathetic babyface.

  9. I’ve teamed him up with Edd Stone. Now Elliot has some decent momentum I’m going to have Edd turn heel, Elliot win TV title beat (Troy Tornado, Danny Fonzarelli, and Human Arsenal they all promised) then beat Edd Stone at Total Mayhem.

Or maybe have Edd Stone join Joshua Taylor, and end up with Elliot Thomas beating Joshua Taylor. Normally I would Skyrocket Greg Gauge like this but it’s nice going different.

  10. RAW would be a very ideal place to end up. A ton of superstars there. In my first save I opened company on India. Two people I brought over were Vortex and Loxley Robbins. They turned out to be amazing hires. I get attached to my user company too and get burnt out after leaving. So I know how you feel glad you saved that separate too.
