any news on this being available to download? I, rather selfishly, have a real itch to play 2000.
Still being worked on, never stopped. Kinda put it on the backburner as I put more time and effort into the 1990 mod I was working on; especially with the Sting retirement and farewell; spending my days working on that January 1990 mod over 2000 rn, but still working on 2000. I don't have anything to download rn as I am working on permission stuff in the background and hoping to get it reuploaded here sometime in the future,

Link REMOVED BY GDS MOD TEAMA/N: Had some time on my hand and began to work on this again; noticed I couldn't find the thread I made for this, so just throwing this back up there. Not gonna be a thing where I say its completely finished; as my original goal is 2,500 overall workers and I'm nowhere near that, but still playable with your big 3 in America.Welcome to the Beta Version 2.0 of the Millennium Bug mod. This mod is set to begin in January of 2000 and leaves the player open to choosing from the various promotions in the wrestling world to take control of, but the game is mostly optimized for the big three of ECW. WCW and the WWF. Not to say you cannot pick up NJPW or a AJPW and run wild; it just will be that much more difficult to do so with where those companies are right now.
This mod includes:323 Agers2 Alliances501 Alter Egos833 BroadcastersContracts with gimmick pros/cons for ECW, WCW, and WWF. As well as employment history for workers in all 3.48 Companies to startEnd of The Year Awards ending at 1990, mostly based on the Observer5 Eras769 Events59 Free pictures278 Graduates1280 Movesets31 Narratives including 3 that put ECW/WCW out of business if they are AI controlled.35 Stables20 Starting Storylines270 Titles1067 Venues402 Worker Relationships1235 Workers active on start and 301 yet to debut+So Much more!I've partnered up with JoMo for this American section of the mod who has provided extensive help on the American Indy scene at this time.JoMo also has an amazing Real World Events Graphics - The Ultimate Pack that I would highly recommend to download for this mod in order to make it just that more realistic. bethebooker.net/thread/418/jomos-ultimate-event-logos-postersThe Broadcasters are from Asaemon's broadcaster mod, just did some tweaking on certain broadcasters in order to bring the TV ratings in line. The Othertvshows are used from Ropacm's OtherTVShows database, which is a great resource to add on some realism and bring the TV ratings around for the companies. The NGO Picture pack should be compatible with this, I have tried the naming and such of people to match it and I implore you to use it, since it is a great picture pack for any historical mod. All credit to them for the pictures for this.As well as working with iDOL's stable logos. forum.greydogsoftware.com/topic/48071-idols-stable-logos-download/And last, but not least, Gendai for permission for Moves, Move Sets, Workers, Alter Egos.

Lethal Dose of Poison (Alpha v1)
Thank you to everyone who helped me, Lukke Arthur for allowing me to use his 2008 mod as a base, Fleisch and Plat for use of their picture packs, and Kaisanity/Biblet for his help with Japan.
Current State: Playable, but a lot of updates need to be made
It is not future proofed, this Alpha is made for maybe one year of play time, even by then it gets all out of whack, cuz incoming debuts still have their 2008 stats.
Mexico is a bit of a mess. I kind of gave up on getting it sorted out so that I can put out this update, there's still some people with 08 stats and title lineages aren't completed for them.
The schedules for Mexico and Japan are for 2008 as I never got them updated to 2002.
WWE, TNA, ROH, and pretty much all the American indies I would say are the most playable.
In my sim, there were still a whole host of problems, I tried to clean up some of the easy stuff but there's still a lot to be updated. Please let me know your initial thoughts, mostly looking for current over/underrated. I think a lot of the pop needs to be sorted out for the companies or the workers as well, so any suggestions on that will be welcomed.
It's just an Alpha so this is just the first step on a long road but I hope you all enjoy.
Both pics and database are in here:

Very excited

Thanks, I knew they didn't own them irl, but I guess I just assumed it would screw something up if they didn't in game.
Oh for sure. Usually developmental relationship companies go out of business. It’s not a accurate portrayal but it’s a workaround for WWE to not lose all of their developmental workers to hanging out on the main roster.

Incredibly hyped for this one, looks amazing

What's up with this mod?
Right now, pretty far out since I’m mostly pouring through making sure the 2000 mod is as good as it can be. 1990 is still a passion for me but just a far out one. Don’t think anything will come of it until like late 2023 if that

I’d say there are a lot of new people making mods for 2020 and man does it take a lot of work. I expected to finish my 2000 mod for 2020 by this month and a combination of moving, a new job and school + some things I just wasn’t too happy about in my mind forced me to overhaul and keep working on it. I’d say this is the same boat as a lot of people. Mods take a long, long time to fully create and even more to “perfect” and I know that I want the 2000 mod I’m working on to be as close to perfect as possible.

What a show, what signings. This company is something else. I get it isn't for everyone, but man I'm glad its around as just a option

Seems unrealistic for them to start as top workers. As far as I can tell, the focus should be on lowering Psychology, basics and Charisma? Or are there specific stats which can rise faster with good training and experience?</p><p> </p><p> Happy to find a middle-ground, but I don't want workers bursting onto the scene as a top 25 in-ring worker on day one.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Personally I’ve started a lot of them very low. They grow really, really quickly especially with potential settings and from what i’ve tested, setting them at the lower end of the skills spectrum upon their debut helps them gradually grow to a point of being where many would and should be like 3-4 years into their career, but everyone has different opinions. I’ve noticed from other mods this year, that future workers around the board are mostly nerfed in their skills to stop people going into their 1-2 years wrestling as a top 50 worker.</p>

Fun opener even if the tag rules are apparently just never going to be enforced ever. Little shocked Page lost. I wonder who Omega's All Out challenger is now?
Santana and Ortiz vs FTR was fun but way too short. Hopefully they come back to this one and we get the banger they are more than capable of having. Does anyone know how Wheeler's arm got cut open? It was gushing blood like crazy.
I popped as usual for Meng. Hikuleo didn't really get to do much and that's a shame. Excited for Archer vs Tana though.
Malakai's black eye gets darker every week. Is that intentional or just inconsistent make up?
Christian and Jurassic Express vs HFO was super short, but they squeezed a lot in. Blade vs Christian could be fun, but I wish Blade would drop the brass knuckles gimmick. It's lame.
I really like Julia Hart. She's adorable, spunky, and improves almost every outing. That said, Rosa outclasses her in every way. They did a good job showcasing Rosa and making Julia look as inexperienced as she is without making her look bad. Good booking here.
Gage and Jericho....ehhhh...I'm not a deathmatch guy. It was whatever. I don't like Nick Gage that's for sure. He has an undeniable connection to his niche audience, but he does nothing for me. I watched his match with Cardona and now this match with Jericho and I just hope I never have to sit through anything involving him again. His falcon arrow was the ugliest I've ever seen. Dude can take an unreal amount of punishment and that's respectable, but it just does nothing for me I guess. I don't mind hardcore matches and such when they're in a story with a heated rivalry, but guys who only do deathmatches? Yuck.
MJF messed up when he said it's been 15 years since Juventud had been on TNT...In September it'll be 21 years since his last appearance on Nitro.
Darby's challenge to "the best in the world" at Rampage in Chicago is more trolling/teasing. Interested to see if it's actually Punk.
Saw on twitter that Wheeler collided his arm with the turnbuckle post and he started gushing blood

Can't believe I missed this, I had the Thunderverse discussion post bookmarked. Gonna get addicted to this all month now.

14/7/2021 Update
Getting all of the WWF's 100 staff/workers into the mod has been the main priority since the last update. We managed to get it done, and all what remains with the WWF now, is the tasks of getting the starting storylines, movesets, pictures, relationships, etc. done.
We are now at 109 broadcasters (starting and future), and more will be added at a later date. However, since the last update, 175 broadcaster changes have been added.
There is now an overall of 240 workers in the mod, so far.
The top 5 WWF stars in December 1997
Don’t wanna just repeat what’s already been said, but super super hyped for this. The Montreal Aftermath was one of my favorite mods to play, and it looks amazing. Love to see so many great mods coming to TEW 2020

Scrambling to my TEW2020 rn

I’m become more and more leaning towards organic just due to the sheer amount of stuff included. You get to see the work of doing job history, tag teams, end of the year awards and dojo graduates from it. Just makes all the small details feel worth it. As I create this new mod, I’m just like eh on written bios, and pretty lazy but mostly I’m More and more organic leaning

Yes! A mod with a chance to help the AWA to strive back.
I'll be waiting for it.
It should be pretty nice to try and rebuild them, the roster is just the right balance of old veterans and some really young guys.
It would probably be faster and easier to see if Fleisch would let you use his 92 mod as a starting point instead of a database ten years in the future. This is definitely true, but I just enjoy the documenting format I use of writing out a promotion, every wrestler that works for them and watching shows from the era/past year with those wrestlers on it to gauge their current ability/popularity and of course their future potential based on how history plays out, plus it gives me a time excuse to fall back on.
Hyped for this one!!!!Hyped to make i!
I thought when Old returned is when Sting got kicked out? I haven't watched that time frame in ages so I might be remembering wrong.I want to say maybe? I started this mod out by using WCW/WWF as bases and just re-watched a bunch of 1989-mid 1990 to start, but I could be hazy on it. Ole is given booker role in 1990, at Great American Bash 89, Flair is attacked by Muta after the match with Funk as the two are stable mates then Sting runs out to help, then Sting and Flair fight Funk and Muta at Halloween Havoc 89 and then The Andersons return to help Flair against Gary Hart and Ole is there when they all turn on Sting in 1990? I wanna say that's the sequence of events I remember from the re-watching of it.

A large preview of what has been done so far, more work to come, but for now this is what I tinkered with as I go full speed ahead on releasing the 2000 mod.
Note that the pictures and stats are not final and a lot of them will be changed as time passes and will more than likely be changed upon release.

I think Jim Ross need his skills raised, he has 48 announcing & 42 color in the latest update
I mean 2021 Jim Ross isn’t exactly the most coherent or consistent person in wrestling. Definitely not the same announcer he was a in the way back past.

Decided to give some more a go for the Japanese region for my 90s mod. Nothing too crazy and I'll most likely rework the W*ING logo and try to find the black/red logo for SWS instead, but figured if anyone needed em, to share em. Might also look to trim the border for LLPW.

Tried my hand at IWA-Japan. Think it came out a bit decent. Gonna see how many more of the Japanese deathmatch companies I can tackle

Wonder who they sell to</p>

January 1990-Colossal Titans
Questions:Will this take away from the 2000 mod or follow-ups to that mod?
It will not, my main focus in TEW 2020 is the 2000 mod and updating it over the life cycle of the game as well as the spinoff mods of 1999 and August 2000 from it, but I plan to put those on the backburner since this mod is from scratch and will take a lot more time than those, plus I have seen there is 1 999 mod being worked on and would rather that get released first.
Will you be using assets from the 2000 mod?
For the most part I will be, I will be changing a lot more for this mod though, so workers like Hogan will be edited from their 2000 mod versions into what they are in 1990.
Why post it now?
Wanted people to be aware of it down the line, it will take a lot of time to do, but 2000 is shaping up nicely for me so far and I am looking at having more free time, so why not spend it on this mod.
What will the graphics look like?
I will be using the nGo picture pack conversation that gaz made, it looks really neat and I would like to make a mod compatible with it. I will also be making some graphics of my own for it and making this mod use the organic biography for this.
Why the organic biography?
I am too lazy to do the typed up biographies for another mod/the organic biographies I feel are more useful for longterm play, say if you get to 1993 in this mod, but the biography of Hogan is still like 1990 even if you turned him heel or he never went Hollywood.
Any release date?
Not even a clue, I can say that I will as it gets there, provide screenshots of things from first starting the game, but nothing concrete now. The first priority will be getting the 2000 mod to that 3rd release stage which right now looks like a end of summer/middle of fall type of deal.
Why 1990?
I've gotten on a bit of a binge watching it and 1989 felt too old for me and 1991 has already been made so I met in the middle. I also watched The Great Muta Vs. Sting fairly recently, so that helped me even more grow a love for doing this. That and I find the Hogan Vs. Warrior dynamic intriguing enough to create an entire mod for a wrestling booking game around it. I think it will be a fun ride, you got a babyface Four Horsemen, some dude named Mark Callous and I'd say the year post one of the best in ring years from WCW. I also really wanted to create a old-school mod and I feel 2000 is so close to being modern that it sort of defeats that old-school feel, since 2000 is relatively more modern.
A small Preview:

Loving everything in this thread, gonna try and work up some logos and contribute once I get around too it

Alliance question... So blatantly stealing from a few other mods that had it sent up this, The Yes Mod has the Mexican Commission as an alliance. The Mexican National titles are set up as alliance titles. All Mexico-based companies are part of the alliance. This is the most accurate way to simulate the Mexican National belts, which are promoted by specific companies (rarely and poorly) but not on a permanent basis. The issue I'm having is that setting up as a loan alliance has workers borrowed back and forth between CMLL and AAA. What's the "least impactful" alliance option that doesn't really do anything for the companies beyond allow them to share titles?
This has plagued me as well and my fix has been the territorial type. Where they only run their home region, which works out since most Mexican promotions active run out of the Centro region. Not a perfect fix but the one I’m testing now.

Any idea if this mod is still being worked on?
Always, just some life stuff denying the next small update, but you can follow all of that progress here, decided to create a new thread for it:

Just wanna pop in and say; I own no ownership over 2000 and if people wanna make a 2000 mod; I say more power to them, I’m a pretty slow guy with the mod, so it will be a while before I get something I deem playable going, but by all means take 2000 if that interests you, I took it up because it’s a great time period for wrestling and super fun to get into
