Jung By-Kyung via UD Katsuhiko Nagata def. Artur Oumakhanov via UD Gilbert Melendez def. Caol Uno via UD Luiz Firmino def. Kazuyuki Miyata via RNC in Round 1 Joachim Hansen def. Koutetsu Boku via UD After the first round of the Lightweight Grand Prix the brackets look like this: https://i.imgur.com/lefUfmK.png[/img]"] Up next for PRIDE will be PRIDE 36 and will be the promotions debut in California. The card will be headlined by the rematch between Shogun Rua and Mark Coleman. Coleman won the first fight after Shogun suffered a broken arm. You may recall that the first fight led to a post-fight brawl between the two corners.
 2. Breaking: Fedor in Contract Dispute with PRIDE after Taking Fight Outside the Organization. May 1, 2007 In shocking news, it is being reported that PRIDE Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko is in a contract dispute with the organization. This news comes days after Fedor defeated Matt Lindland via Armbar at Bodog Fight: Clash of Nations 2007. The fight was Fedor's first outside of PRIDE since 2003. PRIDE is reported to be furious that Fedor took a fight outside of the organization without their blessing. We will update this story as it continues to develop.
 3. I'll be putting out a beta version soon. I have all the events done and the rosters are almost done as well. The beta should be completely playable as it is this mod is based off the 2009 community mod. I will be adding in more current-day fighters in the fully released mod and fixing any issues people see in the beta. So if having current-day fighters in the game isn't a big issue for some, they can play the beta version. I'm also playing a game right now just to test the mod and see if I notice any mistakes or anything that needs to be fixed. I will be posting updates for what has happened in the lead up to 2009 so everyone knows what has happened. Once those are done I will release the beta. I would estimate the beta should be out in two weeks or so and the full release not long after that.
 4. PRIDE 35 Results Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira def. Aleksander Emelianenko via Arm-Triangle in Round 1 Royce Gracie def. Kazushi Sakuraba via UD Cung Le def. Mike Altman via KO in Round 1 Gary Goodridge def. Jan Nortje via TKO in Round 1 Robbie Lawler def. Frank Trigg via TKO in Round 3 James Lee def. Johnnie Morton via KO in Round 1 Jorge Masvidal def. Yves Edwards via KO in Round 2 Gesias Calvancante def. Nam Phan via TKO in Round 1 Overall, Pride's 3rd ever event in the U.S. was one to remember. Only 1 fight was not a stoppage and only 3 fights made it out of the first round. Pride will return to the U.S. in June for Pride 36 which will be the promotions first event in California. Next up for Pride is the first round of the Lightweight Grand Prix.
 5. Breaking News: K-1 invests in PRIDE. Hero's series ends. April 15, 2007 In shocking news, it is being reported that K-1 has invested in PRIDE Fighting Championships and has seemingly given them a financial safety-net. The investment also means that Hero's, K-1's own MMA promotion will be ceasing operations and their roster will combine with PRIDE's. As you may recall, K-1 and PRIDE had a working relationship in the early days of PRIDE with many K-1 fighters eventually testing themselves in MMA. The promotions also set the all-time MMA attendance record of 91,107 in 2002 for the joint-promoted PRIDE Shockwave/K-1 Dynamite event. This means that the MMA debut of K-1 kickboxing veteran Cung Le will now take place at PRIDE 35 at the end of the month. Pro Wrestling mega-star Brock Lesnar has also been in negotiations with K-1 in regards to his MMA debut and it is expected that those talks will now continue with PRIDE. K-1 had also scheduled a rematch between Royce Gracie and Kazushi Sakuraba. That fight is also now scheduled to take place at PRIDE 35. *Creators Note: Hey everyone, I have finished booking all of the events but I want you all to be caught up with what has happened in the game world before I release the beta for the mod. You'll be seeing a bunch of posts that will fill you in on events and happenings that have taken place in a world where Pride did not shut down. Hope you all enjoy.
 6. Hi everyone, I have updated the first post with the links to the September update. This was a BIG update. Everyone who got a contract on Contenders Series has been added. Anthony Romero has also been added as I thought he showed a lot of talent. There has also been a big update for Invicta thanks to the work provided to me from Pontarii and Daelh. They did some incredible work and I cannot thank them enough. I will continue to add in more of their work in the next couple updates (that is why there are so many new gym logos lol). I would also like to thank BigShowCollins for his continued help with the mod. He did amazing work as always. If you noticed that I missed anything or have any suggestions or questions, please let me know. Thanks and enjoy! Update: There were a couple of things that I forgot to do before I uploaded the db. Just minor things, added Rhys McKee and Joaquin Buckley to UFC and added John Gunther and Taylor Johnson. If you downloaded before 8:25 est on Friday you may want to re-download depending on if these couple things are important to you or not. Thanks.

It will be out in a few days.

 8. Hey guys let's chill a bit. I can definitely look into fixing the broadcast deals. Black Dog, are there any in particular that you could point out to me as being off? I'd be happy to fix it.
 9. They are making some big moves for sure. There are enough fighters on their roster that are already in the game to give them a decent roster so I'll have them in the next update. I felt like South America needed another promotion anyway so everyone doesn't sign with Jungle Fights.
 10. Thank you buddy. Getting closer everyday. The Lightweight Grand Prix Bracket looks like this:
 11. Hi everybody, The mod is coming along nicely. The rosters and events are about half-way done. I figured I should fill you all in on what has happened between 2007 and 2009 so you'll be seeing sort of a running diary of events and stories that have taken place. April 2007: Pride FC has announced the rest of their schedule for 2007 as well as a Lightweight Grand Prix that will start in May. Pride's 2007 schedule looks like this (this is actually what they were planning on doing in real-life according to Sakakibara): Late April-Vegas-Pride 35 Late May-Osaka-Total Elimination 2007 Late June-California-Pride 36 Late July-Nagoya-Critical Countdown 2007 Late August-Osaka-Pride 37 Late September-Saitama-Final Conflict 2007 Late October-Vegas-Pride 38 Late December-Saitama-Shockwave 2007 The competitors for the Lightweight Grand Prix were also announced: Andre Amade, Eddie Alvarez, Shinya Aoki, Koutetsu Boku, Jung Bu-Kyung, Gesias Calvancante, Luiz Firmino, Kultar Gill, Joachim Hansen, Mitsuhiro Ishida, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Gilbert Melendez, Kazuyuki Miyata, Katsuhiko Nagata, Artur Oumakhanov, and Caol Uno. The first round match-ups are to be announced shortly.
 12. Hey everyone, I was chatting with Munit and we decided to start a discord server where we can discuss WWMA as well as real-life MMA. Hope you will all join us. https://discord.gg/cHxsPnK
 13. Thank you so much. I have a Venmo account set up under @Maxicheezestick-ModernWarriors if that works.
 14. I have an event set where Conor un-retires in January of 2021. If he gets a fight booked before then I'll un-retire him. I'll take a look at getting Usman added in. To everyone: Hi everybody, I wanted to make everyone aware that I have added a donation link to the 1st post. Donations are absolutely NOT NECESSARY but are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 15. Hey everyone, The August update has been posted on the first page. I didn't add as many new fighters this month but I re-did the rankings using the rankings on Tapology. Events, records, and momentum have been updated. Once again I'd like to thank BigShowCollins for his help. Hope you all enjoy.

I've watched the first couple episodes, the new ones, and GSP vs. Usman.

Thanks thatpyrodude and danny111. I'll get that stuff taken care of.

Thanks for your responses everyone. I'll take what everyone said into consideration and see what I can come up with.

 17. Absolutely. I've been binging your videos on youtube. Really enjoy them. They've also given me good insight into things that I need to update or fix.
 18. I wasn't sure if removing the defunct promotions would do anything or not. Most of them still needed to be taken out because they didn't have any events or anything like that so they were just taking up space lol. And your right the real world mod has like 3000 more characters than the default game. I will ask this question to everyone: What do you think I should do? Are there promotions or fighters or anything that you feel I should take out? Taking stuff out may cause the game to load faster but it will also be less immersive so it's good to keep that in mind. Let me know
 19. Removing promotions and workers should both help. I'm currently going through and taking out any promotion that has been closed for over a decade. Hoping that might speed it up a bit. There isn't anything I can think of right now but I'll let you know if anything comes up. You did some great work when you were updating this. Thanks!
 20. Hello everyone, The first post has been updated with the links to the July update and the updates to the picture pack. This month's update includes updated events, rosters, and records. The UFC roster is now more complete with many of the missing prelim-type fighters being added. Invicta is no longer a child-company and their roster has some additions as well. I have also added a bunch of prospects from all around the world. I would like to give a shout-out to BigShowCollins who helped me out with this months update. As always if you have any suggestions or see anything that needs to be fixed, please let me know. Hope you all enjoy.
 21.
Hey everyone,

I created a new thread for my updates so the most recent ones can be found easier.

Thanks.

I see theres a lot of good fighters but your current day mod I think has like 5k fighters while this one I believe has close to 2k. Was curious if you were just gonna port a lot more over (if its that easy.) I see guys like umar nurmagomedova arent in a few more I cant think of off the top of my head.

I have been more focused on the real-world mod lately but I will get back around to this one soon. I will absolutely look at adding more people in.

I haven't added people in for a while but I believe I had just ported them in from a different mod and changed their records but I will have to look and make sure but that's probably what I'll do for the new fighters and then I'll edit their stats a bit so they are more reflective of where they were when they debuted.
