1. I am in the same boat with impact. I really have not watched in ages. I thought about getting this show but the 40 dollar price tag is a little steep for me.
 2. If you went to a GWAR show expecting to hear a great live band you completely missed the point of GWAR. While I have seen them have some amazing live shows, the main draw of GWAR is the absolute insanity of the stage show that draws people in, the music is just secondary. As far as the current lineup with Mike Bishop as Blothar I have no comment because I have yet to see that lineup perform. But knowing Mike as a great singer while as Beefcake, and also I believe he was apart of X-Cops but don't quote me on that, don't have the album in front of me to confirm. I just haven't been able to bring myself to go see the current line up. While Blood of the Gods was a fun album, it didn't make me want to go see those songs performed live.
 3. I honestly have no idea what the hell is going on with Marty. First it was reported that his contract with ROH was up at the end of April, but here it is July and he is still apart of ROH. I did hear some rumblings that Marty signed some kind of multi-year deal with ROH before his last contract expired, but if that was the case then why is Marty not ROH World Champion? He is by far the most over guy on the roster. And let's be honest here, I would rather not see Marty end up in AEW just yet, between Cody, Kenny, Jericho, The Bucks, Omega, and Hangman he is going to be the low man on the totem pole there and I don't think he will have the spotlight he needs put on him. At least in ROH he is a top guy and is currently involved with the most over group in the entire company.
 4. I disagree 100% Babymetal does not deserve the hate they get. Newsflash but we are not Babymetal's target audience. Even tho I am a very big fan, Babymetal was made to specifically target younger audiences, especially females. The purpose of Babymetal was to draw in younger people to a heavier sound and to sway them away from all the other garbage that is pushed on them, like pop country and this super soft whiney drivel pop music. And while yes they have those poppy style elements, they are a very much heavy metal based band. Essentially they were created to bring the younger crowd to heavy metal. Not only that but many of heavy metals heavy hitters have praised the band because they understand what the band is trying to accomplish. Rob Halford as well as Carcass are known fans of the band and have spoken highly of them. And if you would actually check out their records, especially their second album you would see that they write more than just songs about chocolate. And if we are going to fault bands for writing songs about goofy shit, then you might as well toss out every GWAR album ever made, and lets not forget Cannibal Corpse who has a song called "I Cum Blood."
 5. Pretty much, makes me wonder if that's the reason his brother never did any music with him.
 6.
I lived in the area they are from during high school and saw them well over a dozen times in person and got to know them a little bit. I remember when they were telling us what the name of the album was going to be called and a lot of us scratched our heads because we were not sure if anyone outside of Cape Coral would get the album title.

It's really a shame that the record bombed, they toured like mad men from Ozzfest 2003 up until about 2005ish, but they just couldn't make it work.

They did however do a reunion show a few years back and it sold out quickly, some friends of mine went and said they sounded great, but it was for the most part a one off it seemed.

 7.
Actually go back and watch again I believe in the Women's match the too announced how much time is remaining.

I know their was at least 1 other match that it had happened. They would say like 10 minutes has passed or some s--- but I know that match wasn't the only one.

This is part of the reason why there is a lot of hate directed at certain bands like Crazy Town and Limp Bizkit whereas other bands like Static X seem to get a free pass. When I grouped bands together by their flavour of nu metal I came up with these eleven categories:

: Coal Chamber, Kittie, Korn (self-titled), Deftones (Adrenaline), Taproot (Gift), Spineshank (Strictly Diesel), Staind (Dysfunction), Relative Ash
- Early releases in the era of nu metal

- Raw production value

- Moaning, wailing or hushed vocals with droning, monotonous guitar riffs

- No DJ scratching, but may have minor elements of drum programming

- Rapping is mostly non-committal, disguised as spoken word, scream-rapping or sing-rapping

: 12 Stones, Saliva, Sevenwiser, Crossfade, Soil, Evanescence, TRUSTcompany, Smile Empty Soul, Godsmack, Puddle of Mudd, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Trapt
- Radio friendly Americanised sound

- A few songs contain rapping

- Likely to have guitar solos

- Likely to appear on WWF and superhero movie soundtracks

: Slipknot, American Head Charge, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, Fear Factory (Digimortal), System Of A Down, Otep, Dry Kill Logic, Slaves On Dope, No One, Machine Head (The Burning Red)
- Horror aesthetic

- Darkest lyrical themes in the genre

- Highest level of aggression

<iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/ajm1Qx9duSQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="P.O.D. - Ridiculous (Feat. 9. Really? huh, could have swore it was Taylor. O well chaulk that one up to a brain fart.
 10.
Got a chance to watch Fyter Fest today due to it being my weekend to work I was unable to watch it all live...

Don't get why people were mad about the pre show, you got a great opening 3 way tag match, the librarian stuff while goofy progressed that story and Allie got a chance to be showcased, and the hardcore match was just goofy fun, the same people that bitch about how cheesy it was are the same people that are on facebook telling AEW to sign Orange Cassidy, makes no sense.

O and the pre-show was an hour long and featured over 50 minutes of actual WRESTLING, and less than 10 minutes on hype packages and BS, unlike some pre-shows where you get an 8 minute match and 50 minutes of filler bs.

Kudos for Daniels and Cima, great opening match, I was hoping to see more of this in the Six Man from DoN, but that wasn't what we got, the two vets really made up for it.

Really not interested in their women's division as of now, I am excited to see them push more JOSHI wrestling as it's a style I have the least amount of knowledge on, hope to see the division start to develop soon.

MJF is money plain and simple, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy have fun babyface tag team written all over them, if AEW looks to attract some younger fans those two will be perfect for them.

Can we just admire how far Hangman has come? I've been watching him since his early days in ROH and man he is going to be a hell of a star for AEW if they take care of him, if it were me, Id move him as far away from the other Elite members as possible and make him his own man.

First time seeing Darby Allin, the coffin drop on the edge of the ring made me want to shit my own pants from the impact. Also I don't see him as a singles star at all, I'd pair him with Jimmy Havoc and beef up the tag division.

Not really anything to say about the six man, cool to see Laredo Kid getting some exposure.

And Janella vs. Moxley was just fun.

All in all Fyter Fest was a good show nothing special, just a solid show. I would have hoped with it being free in the US that TNT would be smart and actually just put the show on TNT as a teaser for whats to come.

Also I really don't know why people bitched about the time limit draw between Cody and Darby, it made Darby look good without eating a pin.

Really refreshing to see time limits again by the way, I think this will benefit AEW starting out because they can time their matches better and keep people from over running their time.

 11.
So, someone asked how much I paid for my tickets. Just found my ticket stub and we paid 75 dollars. Now we were 3rd row right below Ian and Colt.

And just to compare, when we went to NXT at the Agora in Cleveland back in 2016, when the product was massively red hot because of Balor, Joe, Asuka, Revival, American Alpha, Vaudvillans. We paid 75 for a floor seat, but that didn't guarantee us a certain seat, it was just a seat in the first 5 rows, so unless you got there and froze your ass off all day you were lucky to get within the first 3 rows. At least with ROH our spots were what we paid for.

And as far as best in the world goes, there was a lot of good, but man was there some questionable booking. Also they need to get the tag titles off of GOD if they are not going to be available for one of their biggest shows of the year, it was crap that the belts weren't on the line or being showcased.

Was not a fan of Taven going over Cobb, Cobb could be a believable silent killer as Champion. Lets just hope they are setting Rush up for a run, personally I would have given the belt to Cobb and let him run with it until Final Battle where he would have met Rush in a Streak vs. Streak/Championship match, wasted opportunity in my book.

Don't get why people were upset with Shane Taylor beating Bandito, Shane has come a long ways from his Dark City Fight Klub days with Cory Chavis, and has improved immensely and has put in the work, and is a great heel to boot. I hope he gets a good run out of this, he is a guy that if he continues to improve and really hones his craft will make an excellent heel world champion in a few years.

And why is Flip in Villain Enterprises? I mean I get the whole he was brushed off by Lifeblood and now wants revenge schtick. But personally Maria Manic would have been a way better choice, and more interesting at that.

 12. Usually when I start local I put everything online to get a fan base going. And you should run a show asap, and depending on your finances run a show once a month or if they are really tight, every other month. This gives you a chance to see who your top performers are in ring and what direction you should go.
 13.
Extremely upset there is no Suzuki.

Lots of fun matches lined up, I am a big fan of Jeff Cobb and I hope they let him have a decent showing.

Yano and Archer look to be the eaters of pins in their respective blocks, unless they actually give Archer a decent showing then the eater of pins will go to Fale.

I will throw my eggs into the Ibushi basket this year. He seems like the most logical choice to go against Okada at Wrestle Kingdom. It's time for Kota to shine in my opinion.

 14.
So I got up early here in the states to watch Dominion live, seeing as how New Japan doesn't give those in other countries enough time to watch the replay before they blurt out the results.

Overall a very good show. Main Event fell flat tho, personally I just wasn't feeling Okada/Jericho.

Im just curious as to where New Japan is going now as everything just seems a mess. Okada looks to have no one fresh lined up, it looks like Jay White is in line for a title match and I am just not interested.

I was upset that Osprey beat Shingo, but if it was ment as a way to move Shingo into the heavyweight division I am ok with it. But, Osprey didn't need to win the Jr. Heavyweight title. Hiromu is very close to being back and if Dragon Lee was still champion that story would have wrote itself.

For the most part tho, I am just really curious in the game plan the rest of the year for New Japan, The G1 tournament looks promising, but the released cards for the Australian shows coming up are cringe worthy at best.

 15.

I agree with this, until the end there. NJPW doesn't need ROH. I mean we're talking a ME of Matt Taven and 53-year-old PCO. There's nothing there I'd want(other than Lethal and Bandido) if I was NJPW and those guys aren't moving any needles with the US audience.

They may think they do. But they could get much better help from Impact and AEW, this is more a loyalty thing than an actual smart business thing. Because I would have dropped ROH like a stone after they pulled that publicity stunt at the Supercard. I know AEW boned them pretty hard after teaching them to run a show basically, but I think that's an incredibly petty reason to not make money together. But that's me, American Johnny with no loyalty.

And AEW has yet to prove they move the needle as well. They have had one show and it was a PPV. They have yet to go weekly, and yeah Im sure the first few months they will get pretty decent ratings, but they have yet to prove their worth on the TV scene.

Why would they work with IMPACT? I mean they are on a channel NOBODY gets, at least ROH is in syndication across the US on channels people can get via antenna, not the greatest but still easily accessible, and on top of the fact their weekly show is on FITE as well.

NJPW should just stay right where they are at with ROH, ROH lost most of their top guys and are having to rebuild. Besides this working agreement is something that wasn't built overnight, they have been working together for well over a decade.

And if you think for one second after a year of AEW being on TV and it doing good, that Turner will allow the stars of AEW to appear for another promotion that is on TV in the US (NJPW on AXS). Especially since they are trying to do more American shows, you truly don't understand how petty networks and companies can be in pro wrestling.

That being said, I don't see the NJPW and ROH ending their relationship anytime soon and it is for the best, ROH is a farming system basically for NJPW, both companies products are damn near identical.

 16. No, if you want to merge both companies before hand you need to go into the editor and do it. Otherwise you will have to wait until both companies are in dire straits and will accept buy out offers.
 17.

Newbie here, apologies if my question has been asked and answered (looking through 500+ pages is taking some time)

I started playing with AEW, my product is rated more on performance than popularity and I've got good workers. However, for the life of me, the best match I've gotten so far scores a 61 (I use numbers not grades, damn Europeans ey ;-))

I turned off crowd management, most of my matches are regular except for the 1 obligatory storytelling match. Still Kenny Omega vs Tye Dillinger did worse than Moxley vs Christopher Daniels...

I also constantly get penalized for wrestlers holding back (why do they hold back?) and inconsistency...

I just don't know how to get them to deliver a better match... anyone?

You need to pay attention as well to the trends in your companies country. America is a very big Mainstream trend, and companies that are more performance based like a NJPW or ROH tend to not get over very well because the current trend is goofy WWE style wrestling. That will hurt your grade sometimes too.

And like the other guys said, even tho you are more performance based you still need some kind of star power based on what I said above.

 18. Very interested in the new financial system. I always thought low tier unemployed guys as wayyy to much. This will be a very nice change of pace. Not too thrilled about the slider bars being taken away, as I find it easier to mess with, but I am sure typing in contract amounts will not take very long to get use too.
 19. Ok I have to ask. What are you using to do your tournament brackets? That looks real slick.
 20. So Masters of the Craft is in the books, and since my wife and I decided to make the trip to Columbus for the show, I have a few live notes. 1.) This show was not a sell out. Which is scary, usually Columbus sells quickly, but there were people walking up when doors opened and bought ringside tickets. 2.)The guys in the Kingdom were really cool. I was at the merch table picking up a t-shirt, and as the Kingdom was coming over to do meet and greets, Matt Taven saw my No Melvins shirt I was wearing, and he and the guys walked over and shook my hand and said thank you for the support and actually talked with me for a couple of minutes while their meet and greet line formed...Also on a side note, the ROH World Title is beautiful up close, I've had the opportunity to see the old school Big Gold belt up close, and damn does it give it a run for its money, the replicas don't look anywhere near as good as the real deal. 3.) TONS of Enzo and Cass hate at the show, lots of remarks were made about the two showing up...which thankfully they didn't, they are not over at all with the ROH crowd. 4.)I have yet to watch the replay of the show, but after the Six Man Title match Marty grabbed a microphone and stated that he was there to help make the Six Man Tag Titles the best in the company. I am curious to see where this goes because Marty's contract is supposedly up at the end of this month, so I predicted a title swap here. Things could get interesting if Marty wins the NWA Worlds Championship in 2 weeks. 5.) They just announced the match, but they seem to be going in the direction of PCO as a future world champion, I do not like this move, PCO is a good background player, but he is not someone you have carry your company, this would be a step backwards if he is too beat Taven so soon. 6.) Caristico/Sin Cara had a botch last night, and it was not during his match, he botched his entrance, he posed on the wrong side of the stage for the pyro, and the laughter ensued around me.
 21. Yeah I am highly interested in how this plays out, if it goes into a full shoot my money is on PJ.
 22.
Ok, back on topic guys, wrong place for political discussion, take that shit elsewhere, we are here to talk about ROH, not which side of the fence you sit on.

So Masters of the Craft is tonight, and the card actually looks pretty decent. A rather light card in terms of matches so cross fingers they add another match or two before bell time. But the card so far is...

The Kingdom vs. Villain Enterprises - ROH Six Man Titles

Soberano, Jr. vs. Rush

Jay Lethal/Jonathan Gresham vs. Tracy Williams/Mark Haskins - 30 Min. Iron Man Tag

PJ Black vs. Bandido vs. Caristico vs. Flip Gordon

Briscoes/Silas Young/Shane Taylor vs. Bouncers/Coast 2 Coast

Jenny Rose vs. Holidead

Like I said very light card, but the iron man tag, four corners, and rush vs. soberano all look to be stellar.

 23.
I could see where Corporate aka (Sinclair) meddling would fit with the whole Enzo and Cass thing. BUT, it has yet to be announced or even confirmed that they are with the company.

Secondly, I feel really bad right now for ROH. They have a juggernaut of a company behind them but they aren't using it to it's full potential.

Sinclair has enough money to play the contract game with AEW and WWE. And why they aren't throwing money at bigger names to stay or come in baffles me.

I hate to say it but Sinclair is the reason ROH is in the state it's in right now. I mean --- they give ROH a shitty timeslot on a network NOBODY gets, its sad when back in 07 or 08? I believe, ROH was on HDNet on Monday's right before RAW, and they didnt have the financial power then, and were still in a decent timeslot on a station people actually got.

And yes they have been a booking nightmare for a while, how in the hell do you screw up your WOH division so quickly? You had Tenille Dashwood on your roster, someone with name value, and yet you had Sumie Sakai as your champion? Where the hell does that make sense? I mean I understand she was with ROH forever, and it was a nice way to say thank you, but dear god.

And from a booking standpoint ROH needs to ditch the Six-Man titles for now, they don't have a big enough roster for it. And it seems to stay on the same people, or they put it on people who already have titles, and then the belts are forgotten about.

And to further cement that statement the Main Event Sunday is The Kingdom vs. Villain Enterprises for the Six-Man titles, which means The Kingdom will probably get them back as this is technically Marty's last contractual show for ROH. So they will be giving them to a group who's leader is World Champ.

 24.
As much of a Taven and Kingdom fan I am, I don't know if putting the belt on Taven was the right call.

With them taking the tag titles off of Villain Enterprises, leads me to suspect Marty is more than likely wrapping up his stay in ROH. I know his contract expires at the end of this month, and with them not putting the belt on him, makes me think he's done.

But congrats to ROH and New Japan on the show Saturday Night. It was a good show, and everyone involved should be proud.

Now my countdown begins as I will be there for Masters of the Craft on Sunday in Columbus, very interested to see what the fall out will be on the very first live show after the garden.

 25.
I will agree that he is an under rated talent. But as far as a World Champion with a monster push? I just don't see it.

He's like a Bobby Eaton, great hand, and a guy you can use in a pinch as a "flavor of the month" for your Champions. And even use him like you did as a transitional champion, but as for putting the company on his back? No
