3. Getting caught up here Beej and I'm intrigued to what the next phase of WCW looks like. I, for one, want to see the return of a Saturday Night flagship or a brand new program leading the way. Nitro is a dead brand and redressing it might come off as putting lipstick on a pig at this point....just my 2 cents.
 4.
Been MIA for a bit and my time on the boards has become sporadic at best...but so happy to see you still working on this. I'm going to throw some predictions out there...but they excuse any shortcomings as I haven't been as caught up as I once was...

That said, this might be my favorite diary in TEW'16 era. It's not a stretch for me to put it in the same echelon with TFC's TGA diary or Beejus's War of Thrones from the TEW '13 forums.

Preview for Monday Night Raw, Week 4, December 1996

Special Holiday Edition

WWF Intercontinental Championship: Christmas Cage Match

Rich Steiner © vs. Scott Steiner

Comments: I see Scotty winning the Rumble and getting crowned at Wrestlemania... so the IC strap doesn't make sense at the moment. This is the place where we'll begin: January 2001, four weeks out from the Royal Rumble.

Some of the big questions and possible changing points:

Will McMahon still the buy the competition? Will Austin side with McMahon in one of the most widely criticized heel turns in the history of the business? What, if any, returning legends will take one last run at glory? Hopefully some of you might be interested to check it out and not dismissive based on previous short-lived project.

For a variety of reasons I don't have nearly as much time as I did while I was diary writing previously, so it might take me a bit to get this going. I've taken to writing an opening segment in my write ups....(hype video plays, announcers welcome us etc)....but not actually booking it, because it seems like kind of an easy way to spam an A* rating and get the "this started the show strong" note or whatever it says. I could easily chuck my most over guys in a random video segment, but I don't know......does a promo package start a show off strong? Because personally I don't think it does......an angle/in ring promo (which is how I generally start my TV shows lol) then yeah, I can see that......or am I just overthinking things? Lol.....like I say, just seems like an easy way to spam a good rating

Personally, I think you're overthinking it. As many different threads across this board have discussed, the game is a sandbox and putting together angles with video packages that "spam" for ratings is only cheating if you think it is. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

In my own personal games I tend to do the announce/video segments on PPVs only and try to start to the TV's with either a hot angle or "work the crowd" match.

Long story even longer, play the way that you like to. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

PS: Haven't predicted lately as I've fallen behind. Looking forward to having some time to catch up and I'm sure with this card, IYH will be an awesome show.

 7.
Nice to see you back BigBad! Always been a big fan of your work! Mike Awesome

And finally...who walks out of The Big Bang as the NEW WCW World Heavyweight Champion? Feels like this question is setting up a swerve, but I'll stick with my original choice of Scott Steiner

 8.
Been playing the Art of War '98 mod recently as the WWF and have been having loads of fun!

That said, Triple H has been giving me fits. First, he picks a fight with Blackjack Lanza. No way he do this in real life because a) everyone loves/respects Lanza (especially him) and b) Lanza would kill him.

Next, HBK returns and is sent to rehab on exactly the same day. That apparently went up Hunter's keister sideways for some reason...sorry I helped your friend, dude.

Then he was complaining about carrying the European strap, which he felt he was above. Fine--no problem. Have him drop it to D'Lo (keep strong, Rock interference, etc) and even give him 10 g's to boot!

What does he do? He hands in his 2 week notice right before Fully Loaded.

In complete contrast, the Rock has been a true ace! Happily jobbed the IC title to X-Pac without even needed the Keep Strong note! Cheering up the locker room on a daily basis and simply being an all around great dude.

I am thinking that HHH's contribution to my National Battles will need to be replaced however...I'm eyeing Sid for a return. I don't really want him, but I recognize I need to keep up with Easy E...

Everything else has been going swimmingly. I'm about to run Fully Loaded and am pumped about Summerslam and the Highway to Hell. I've thought about going full on diary with this game, but I don't want to keep clogging the diary forums with a lot of starts and stops. I initially started this game as a background game for my WCW 97 game...but it's quickly become a significantly more fun ride.

 9.
http://i.imgur.com/5nznIjh.png

Good to see you writing again Beej!

 10.
Sorry for being MIA for the last couple of weeks, but trying to get reacquainted with GDS scene and this is my first stop. Fantastic Summerslam to4sty! Loved the show from bell to bell (and will second Beejus that I immediately checked the date for a DOTM nomination). I like that the KliQ took it on the chin here...but I was hoping for a clean sweep of them...

Poor Bret...I really want to see him have a breakout at some point. I worry that he will get forced down the card with the increasingly crowded main event scene. With Steiner, Pillman, Austin all trending up, and guys like HBK and Taker firmly entrenched, (plus now Sid), I want to see how Bret rebounds from this loss.

Some other guys that have me interested is Faarooq and Mankind. I was shocked that Faarooq got the W and even more surprised by the grade (although I assume that was more a function of Owen than Simmons). As for Mankind, now that's totally buried by Taker, I hope he spins off into a Dude Love/Cactus Jack lovable babyface.

KLiQ retain and the three way? Austin and Steiner win with the rematch at Summerslam? Austin and Steiner win with an obsurd Austin/Steiner vs KLiQ vs Pillman/Steiner three way? Let me know, otherwise I'm just going to stick with my original plan lol

Let it go to a shmoz finish here and keep the KLiQ with the straps...maybe a big 3 team ladder match at SummerSlam?

 14.
Just getting caught up after being away for a week, and I agreed very much with Beejus' comments a bit back about the KLiQ needing to step up and deliver...and they did in a big way at IYH.

Unfortunately that happened at the expense of my man Scott Steiner however. I love how he unintentionally got over and I love the bad ass straight man he's playing in the middle of the more outlandish/vulgar/stereo-typical WWF attitude era guys. I feel like his no nonsense, smash mouth style is a perfect fit. I actually like this presentation of Big Scotty over the loose cannon Big Poppa Pump--who might actually be white noise with Austin/Pillman/KliQ/Harts all running amok simultaneously.

Preview for Monday Night Raw, Week 4, July 1996

WWF Tag Team Championships

The KLiQ (Hall & Nash) © vs. Scott Steiner & Steve Austin

Comments: no way Steiner and Austin co-exist...and even if they do win...it'll be via DQ or something that will not allow a title change

Ahmed Johnson vs. Psycho Sid

Comments:

Marc Mero vs Goldust

Comments: Even though Goldy should go over...feels like Jericho and Goldust will never win a match until they've ended this program

Tatanka vs Billy Gunn

Comments:

The Godwinns vs The Nation of Domination (Nelson Knight & Kama)

Comments: lotta lbs. on that side of the ring

 15. Totally hear this sentiment dudes...and I feel much the same way. I keep hoping that Photobucket is getting enough negative attention that they will repeal the 3rd Party hosting blocking...but either way it's probably about time to cut bait with them. The ad situation was way out of hand. It'll be interesting to see what happens on these boards going forward...maybe we'll see a giant diary revitalization as many of the great writers (like yourselves) decide to all launch new projects simultaneously with a new picture hosting site? I'm finding it very difficult to want to come back to my current diary because of it.
 16. Bret Hart vs. Scott Steiner Comments: Bret gets some back...but DiBiase/Sid make it a DQ Rick Steiner vs. Shawn Michaels Comments: I love the Steiners in here, but lets be real: Scott is the man (...which is exactly why my early prediction is that Rick takes DiBiase's offer...not Scotty!) The British Bulldog vs. Steve Austin Comments: Austin has the rocket right now Rocky Maivia vs Barry Windham Comments: 2 guys going in opposite directions Savio Vega vs. Billy Gunn Comments: Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio & Marc Mero vs. The KLiQ (Helmsley, Waltman & Credible) Comments: Could flip a coin here...but this is clearly the Kliq B Squad
 17.
There is a stipulation attached to this.....an incentive for both teams to want the victory....what is it?

-Just to be different, I'll say a tag match against the KLIQ (Hall & Nash) at the next PPV

The Steiner Brothers vs. The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & The British Bulldog)

Comments:

Ahmed Johnson vs. Shawn Michaels

Comments: Hopefully Ahmed doesn't get a wedgie

Mero has agreed to put his #1 Contenders spot on the line, to get his hands on Double J again

Marc Mero vs. Jeff Jarrett

Comments: via shady tactics, but Monsoon still lets Mero challenge for the IC title, just now its a 3 way

Rocky Maivia vs Justin Bradshaw

Comments:

Road Warrior Hawk vs. Kane

Comments:

Chris Jericho, Al Snow, Bill DeMott and Rey Mysterio vs. The KLiQ (Hall, Nash, Waltman & Credible)

Comments: if Hall and Nash dont complain and Credible eats the pin

 19.
Out of curiosity, would you be open to sharing up how mechanically you booked the match/angle with Steiner winning/not winning the title?

From a game standpoint, is Steiner listed as a champion with you using the angle to strip him? That's how I did my Dusty Finish with the RnR Express...but in a subsequent thread I made on the Suggestions Forum, Adam Ryland mentioned that I should have had the Awesome Twosome win the match with RnR booked with "keep strong." That would have avoided the erroneous listing of the Express as champions in my game.

That said, in your game, Steiner did win the bout. This was not a referee's decision rather a technicality. So, did you not set the title on the line in the first place?

 20.
I'm doing by best to take a deep breath and not let the stripping of Scott Steiner raise my blood pressure too much... I mean, you'll have to crown him at SummerSlam? Right? Right?

KLiQ barred from Ringside....if Steiner wins he gets included in the WWF Title Match at In Your House

Scott Steiner vs. Steve Austin

Comments: -not sure how...but some kind of chicanery makes this another no contest and we're looking at a triple-threat PPV that will allow HBK to keep the title.

Marc Mero vs. Jeff Jarrett

Comments: needs to be strong for his upcoming IC bout

Rick Steiner vs. Brian Pillman

Comments: could go either way...picking Brian only because he just returned

The Godwinns vs. The Nation of Domination (Nelson Knight & Kama)

Comments: #dumpMo

Road Warrior Animal vs. Mankind

Comments:

Al Snow & Bill DeMott vs. The KLiQ (Waltman & Credible)

Comments: small time bait for the crazy duo

I loved that you pulled the trigger on Steiner and Austin in the same show--this should go down as a total dynasty-changing event for the future of this project. I love the idea of Austin and Steiner slugging it out to be your next Figurehead. Your roster is so beyond talented right now, it's insane.

 22. No problem. I just downloaded them now and can't wait to go through them! Would you mind if I ended up incorporating any in my diary?
 23.
Hey Taker,

These previews look incredible! I don't know how I missed these! Is there a single link that takes me to all of your work? I'd love to use some of these for my NWA diary!

This should be a cool show and I'm looking forward to it.
