  1. So apologies if this has been asked before, but is there a way to turn off the penalty for lack of anything interesting happening?
  2. <p>I feel a lot better about this game than I was previously, so I'm really happy about the work done thus far. Something that I would love to see is scrolling specifically for the booking screens. It would speed booking up significantly, so that would be super awesome.</p><p> </p><p> That said, my friend and I are playing a save where he's WWF:PC and I'm WWF so that's super cool to be able to do that.</p>
  3. Converting December 1997 then updating it to January 1998 so far hasn't been too bad.
  4. Something that we have realized in Discord is that we don't have the ability to set tournament titles. This was important because it let the ai book tournaments accurately. Is this something that can be patched in?
  5. <p>So now that somebody closed the thread for feedback...*sigh*...I wanted to offer some positive praise in the test game I'm playing.</p><p> </p><p> *Negotiations now feel like they're not just zombie-like, not clockwork, as workers will demand things. For instance, Edge wouldn't sign for 3,100 a month because he felt like he needed 6,000 a month. And this is a positive worker! God forbid I ever have to negotiate with Randy Orton...</p><p> </p><p> *Having the bottom bar set to workers is literally so useful. And it's an area I can use my mouse wheel! Being able to type in different workers and quickly sign people is a lot quicker than in past TEWs. </p><p> </p><p> *Talent trading looks a lot better in this TEW as well. Say I want to borrow NJPW's team of Kanemoto and Liger. In TEW2016, I'd have to put in 2 requests. In this game, you can straight up request the team, which really saves you time and effort.</p><p> </p><p> *A little thing - Events and TV screens have been consolidated. I love this setting, as having them separate made no sense anyway. </p><p> </p><p> Overall, the deeper I get, the better this game is. Yeah, some of the things gone make no sense, but look, the truth is, Adam put out a game that's different, yes, but is deeper than any installment ever before.</p>
  6. What do you mean by worker's profile? Just to clarify what you're looking for.
  7. Something else I absolutely LOVE about the game is the ability to easily see contract details. In 2016, I didn't actually ever look at those, but now it's convenient to do so. There's a lot in this game to be excited about, folks. Once you get used to it, while it's not perfect quite yet, it's still really okay. And the roster screen is VERY good once you play around with it.
  8. It may also be something where if you turn off the bottom buttons, it works. It's worth a try!
  9. I have like every company in 1998 to select from. Maybe it's a glitch with the CVerse? Are you using the CVerse?
  10. Yes you absolutely can! At least, I was able to. And eliminating the bottom buttons certainly helped soooo much! I was confused by having multiple buttons saying the same thing. I understand having favorites, but that did not work for me, chief.
  11. So something really awesome is that on the bottom you can take away the buttons there and instead switch it between players (really good for multiplayer) or search for workers or companies. This actually makes it easy to do searching, albeit I had to experiment to find that.
  12. Question, really, 2 questions: 1) Do you have a template for these you'd be willing to share? 2) If not, could you do one for December 1997? I'm willing to do it myself, but I'd need the template. Thank you so much!
  13. I 100 percent agree with this statement because realistically speaking, accuracy is the number one thing for me when playing a real world mod. I hope we get these features back.
  14. The two things that would make a difference for me are mouse wheel scrolling and product editing ala TEW 2016. If those two features returned, I could play this game and be very happy with it. (:
  15. A positive that I'm seeing is how much faster this is running on my machine. Like, switching between buttons is really, really easy and quick. However, I miss the ability to filter like we used to in TEW2016. The search bar is cool, but like, filtering to excellent workers is really useful.
  16. <p>Also one more thing I forgot to mention. I really wish we could adjust user products at least with percentages. I can understand it for the AI, but like, for a user's company, it would be great to be able to create our own products like in 2016.</p><p> </p><p> That said, I'm actually a huge fan of the tag team search feature. It's incredible.</p>
  17. Something that I want to see and am missing badly is the ability to scroll through people by scrolling with my mouse wheel while the colors are on. I love the color coding, but I rely so much on scrolling for TEW on like every screen. With that improvement, I could honestly really be happy with this edition. Thank you so much for your hard work, Adam.
  18. Initial impressions: *I really liked the editor once I figured it out. The database I converted specifically was January 2001 by Genadi, and it only came up with 8 critical errors. That being said, I went in and fixed those quickly. *I like that you can search for both contracts and workers. It makes life a lot easier. Mass editing those is also quicker than in 2016, so that's useful. *The UI, I can see where it's overwhelming people. Being someone who stares constantly at colored computer screens and massive amounts of data, it's fine on my eyes, but I can see where people think it's just a massive spreadsheet. Personally, I love the amount of data. *I never realized how much I missed being able to type to filter, or how much I would miss scrolling though. It's not a game-ender for me, as I definitely, definitely appreciate what I've seen thus far, but I think if scrolling were able to occur while in screens, people would probably be really happy. (Or arrow keys) *Also, minor thing, if green were set as hot/warm momentum and basically higher stats, I'd like it a lot more as well since on American stoplights, green means go, red means stop, yellow means slow down. So I associate yellow with slow down, but Kurt Angle is hot, I need to push him! You know what I mean? *I do like the buttons being at the bottom. It's definitely something I'll need to get used to but it should be quicker to work through once I put 10 hours or so into the game. Overall, I'm more than happy to give this game a solid 8.5/10 as my first impression. I get where people are having issues, especially with the color thing. That said, I'm really looking forward to digging deeper tonight during work.
  19. Do we know if there's chemistry for trios this year? There should be because there are groups like the Elite (Omega, Young Bucks) who work super well together, and it would provide motivation to use three on three matches.
  20. Something I would really love to see is a feature that talks about trio chemistry. With a few top companies using trios, what if the tag chemistry was applied to the trio's chemistry? Can anyone explain this better than me?
  21. MJF deserves a bump in mic and charisma. I'm talking 70s, 80s wouldn't even be crazy to me. The guy is probably one of the best mic workers today. And I don't think that's crazy to say. I've been watching a lot of footage and I'd say 72 mic, 77 cha seems fair.
  22. Honestly, the mod is great. My one complaint, and it's really small, is was WWE really struggling this much? Like, Cena was pretty popular at that point, Undertaker was really popular as well. There's not many big stars, but I guess it would depend on how you define popularity too.
  23. A couple of things I'd love to see added...first, the ability to potentially develop chemistry. Not all teams or pairings are gonna start out perfect. Sometimes it just happens...so that would be more realistic if it's possible. A tweener option would be good as well, or if not that, then some way to react the Roman Reigns types who get booed as a face? I dont know, but I understand Adam's bias against tweeners being a thing. That said, it's getting harder to ignore. Something else I'd like to see is maybe some way to quantify women. For example, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, as well as Rousey and Asuka, are main eventers in the WWE, but with the way the game is set up, unless I do integrated wrestling, it doesnt divide the women up into pushes. The womens division isnt really a satisfying push for those of us who like to run bigger companies with 12-16 women and 60 men. And it shouldn't be a gender problem. Women can be separated into their own division already, but I dont know how the game would handle that, either, although in the WWE, some would argue Becky is more popular than 90 percent of the roster. I dont know.
  24. I feel like Vic Joseph would need a boost in announcing. 53? That's nowhere near his skill level. I'd argue he's a shade under Phillips.
  25. I do worry about the menace of Sullivan and Corbin. How high will those stats be this update?
