  1. I do think that an addition of "blood options" (sounds like an urban fantasy novel) is a tremendous idea. I would also suggest a default position of a company allowing blood or not allowing it (generally), along the lines of spinal impact moves. A note that "Worker X bled hardway" or "Wrestler X bladed even though it's against company policy" (or however you might want to put it) would be a cool addition and reflect real world situations. Of course, I would also include a Road Agent note (which the worker could respond to, as you outline) to allow blood in that match. We've seen all sorts of situations where WWE and WCW back in the day would allow bleeding in limited situations (and where it was on every frickin' show). St.T
  2. I know somebody's going to say that I should just do the math and compare things, but... I think a mechanic that would tell me where a worker would fit into my company (Major Star, Star, Well Known, etc.) when I'm looking at hiring a new worker or where they'd fit into my developmental company if I hired them would be amazing. I know I can do the math and compare with others that have a similar popularity score, but...I'm getting a report on their perception rating as soon as I run a show, so I'm not sure how difficult it would be to select a worker and hit "Negotiate" and be informed "Worker X would be rated 'Unimportant' on your roster. Worker X would be rated "Well Known" in DEV (dev promotion)." Also, I know some folks around here think of everything, but I've missed ratings a few times in my life and thought someone would come in as "Recognizable" and I could give them wins over job guys right away only to have them rated as "Unimportant" and now I have to reshape plans to get them some level of over before I can put them over job guys without penalty or big storylines or something. This is just something that would be a nice addition and give people a slightly clearer picture of what they're getting when they sign somebody. St.T
  3. I can see this. Would make it not weird when I add someone as a "Blood Relative" who is a son/daughter-in-law/brother/sister-in-law. I can get the "that's a me problem" thing, but I have the same king of problem, which I just have to bite my tongue and do it because Andrade is married to Ric Flair's daughter, so they're not blood relatives, but they might as well be in effect. St.T
  4. To me, this is one where even if it did "over power" families, it would be acceptable because it would be reflective of reality. I mean, do you think having a famous wrestler for a parent/uncle/aunt helps with skill-building and knowledge? Do you think being from a large, well-known wrestling family gives an advantage? To that point, if one were running a modern-day real world save and had say Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu signed to the same promotion, and they had no relationship beyond their blood relationship, it would make perfect sense to get a note saying that "Roman Reigns has been passing on tips on microphone work to his relative Jacob Fatu" even though they're not mentor/protege. In fact, I'm of the opinion those types of notes should be expanded to most positive relationships (at least Blood Relative, Strong Friendship, Best Friends, Married/Engaged/Dating), as I figure those lessons that mentors are passing on to their proteges would be very similar to good friends like John Cena and Samoa Joe having conversations about things that work for them on the mic, in the ring, basic psychology tips, etc. St.T
  5. Wow. That might be one brought into the game based on the limitations of the database the game is constructed on. I'm not sure that one can be extended. But, if it can, it should be. St.T
  6. Also would be realistic. How many wrestling television shows have been tied to a particular location? Wrestling at the Chase? World Class Championship Wrestling from the Sportatorium in Dallas? Chicago Wrestling from the Rainbo (I think I'm thinking about Chicago)? Capitol Wrestling from the Capitol Arena? Even if we go modern, TNA/Impact was long tied to a couple of different TV locations; WCW did most of their television from Disney MGM Studios for a while; WWF did most of their TV from Allentown for a long while; ECW did all of their TV at the ECW Arena; CMLL does all of its TV from Arena Mexico, Arena Coliseo, Arena Puebla... I'm just sayin'. St.T
  7. I love these suggestions, but the only critique I would offer would be that these two attributes probably shouldn't be available until fairly recently (maybe the Body Positive one could have gone back to the 1970's or so). These are attitudes/attributes we've only really seen (at least widespread) in the last fifteen or twenty years. St.T
  8. I seem to remember somebody doing it and posting it, but I think it was in TEW 2016. St.T
  9. Punk vs. Omega doesn't need a title. It's the rare feud where having a title would actually hurt the real-life vitriol involved. On the other hand, it gives whoever wins the match an almost automatic point to say that they're the biggest guy in the promotion and "deserve" a world title shot (if it's Punk who came out on top, which would make the most sense and show that Omega cares more about the company and telling good stories than about his own ego), the addition of him never having lost is just one more reason why he should be challenging MJF for the title. 10. I think the idea in presentation is that RVD, Teddy Long, Road Dogg, etc., were actually doing the decision-making for the Raw brand while HBK, JBL, etc., were doing it for the SmackDown brand. But they don't tell us about any authority figures except for Adam Pearce being the "manager" on both shows and HHH coming out to make grand pronouncements. It would have helped to establish some adversarial management types on each brand before the draft started. Of course, when we had them,...everybody pissed and moaned about them. So there's that. * Except Teddy Long! Nobody complained about Teddy Long! Playa! St.T
  11. WALTER gets the pin for the team's win. Aiga wins with a Finau pinfall. (I think you're pushing Finau, which is probably a good idea. I think Dragunov gets the pinfall victory over HEART, but I'd love to see Bate get the win for his team. I'm a nut for El Hijo del Fantasma. Riddle gets the pinfall to retain the tag titles. Hammerstone beats Barnett. Rollins, Haas, and Ringkampf vs. X will get the best rating (85). St.T
  12. I'm joining the crowd that thinks Jovik will face Rasuev, and Rasuev will beat him silly. The Arrows beat Edge & Daniels thanks to a ton of overbooked mayhem from the other Russians. Vertigo loses to an enraged (still enraged?) Kulakov. Ilja retains by cheating Russian Solidarity over a debuting Malakai/Aleister Black/Tommy End. I firmly expect John Hennigan, Bryan, or Edge to start trying to build some solidarity among the non-Russian wrestlers. St.T
  13. Okay...stuck on a couple of these side quests, but it's keeping things entertaining. The Rise of WWE Started in May of 2001, now in June 2004. Lucha Libre Elite (I bought out IWRG earlier and turned it into LLE. I recently bought CMLL, as it had crashed hard in terms of money and prestige after a scandal, and I took their bigger names and their titles and have melded them into LLE; I'll be unifying these titles at our next major event) LLE Heavyweight Champion - Mephisto CMLL Heavyweight Champion - El Zorro LLE Latin American Middleweight Champion - Elektro LLE Cruiserweight Champion - NOSAWA LLE Welterweight Champion - Mistico CMLL Welterweight Champion - Super Calo LLE Tag Team Champions - Los Guerreros del Miedo (Nicho El Millonario and Satanico) CMLL Tag Team Champions - Los Villanos (Villano IV and Villano V) LLE Trios Champions - Virus and Los Fantasmas (El Hijo del Fantasma and Fantasma Jr.) CMLL Trios Champions - Los Parkas (L.A. Park, La Parka Jr., and Super Parka) LLE Latin American Women's Champion - Estrellita Irish Whip Wrestling (started it as an Ireland-based child promotion; I've bought out FWA and HWP/NWA UK Hammerlock; took their titles and fiddled with them and building to unify into one set of Commonwealth Championships) IWW Irish Heavyweight Champion - Sheamus Undisputed IWW British Heavyweight Champion - Andre Baker IWW British Isles Champion - Anton Cesaro IWW Commonwealth Zero-Gravity Champion - Kid Cool IWW Irish Tag Team Champions - The Devil's Playthings (Ashe and Curve) IWW British Tag Team Champions - Golden Fate (Flash Barker and Jack Xavier) IWW Commonwealth Women's Champion - Katarina In a week, it's back to the main roster with Nitro's The Great American Bash 2004. St.T
  14. I will point out that I didn't use the word "idiot". 😛 And, despite that point, I did like the way you went about it. Interesting storytelling is way more important than wins and losses. *ducks behind nearest cover* 😆 St.T
