1. NJPW, currently booking the World Tag League. I made it a 16-team Single Elimination tournament split in three events - Round of 16, Quarter Finals and the Finals, which will also have the Semi-Finals. Anyways, GFW put the Global title on Scott Steiner. This popped up literally 2 weeks after he won it. http://i.imgur.com/z79q5el.png
 2.
http://i.imgur.com/vVhgj2r.jpg

Took a pause from my 2003 save to finally book NJPW and....well, Ambrose knows what's up.

Edit:And now Liger took him as protege. That can't be a coincidence.

On a fun side note, WWE booked Reigns over Lesnar for the Universal title and AJ over Jinder for the WWE title a week later. Gotta keep fans happy I guess.

For AJPW tweaking Motoko's roster size preference might work too. WWE, well, it's 2003, nobody can do anything about it <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

So, should I leave Tatsumi Fujinami as CEO or set back Inoki as the Owner?

If Fujinami can also work and is more realistic, let it be.

 4.

I'm pretty sure Antonio Inoki didn't run NJPW in 2003, he was a major shareholder, yes, but I'm almost certain Tatsumi Fujinami was running the company in 2003 as CEO/President. As that is a viable option in TEW, and given Inokis limited involvement in 2003, should Fujinami maybe set as the CEO rather than Inoki the owner? Your mod of course Punk but just for realism sake I thought I'd give it a mention and see what you thought. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Inoki was set as owner mostly because putting other person there might cause their product to unrealistically change. Inoki had his MMA thing going on, but Fujinami would likely have to be set as preferring actual puroresu and would change the product. After all, the whole direction the company was going was the direction Inoki wanted to. And history told us he was too stubborn to change it.

It is currently impossible for us to accurately set owner changes over time, so Inoki was left there since it was still "his" company, even during the time frames he did not run it(IIRC there was a period in the '80s or '90s where he wasn't directly running too). Maybe setting Fujinami to like MMA-Influenced wrestling would solve it(Inoki would need a written contract so that he doesn't leave to book AJPW or something), but it also feels wrong for me <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Still, the game isn't supposed to accurately follow history. So I think there's no need for a whole debate, but since it was I who put Inoki there in the first place I thought it'd be a good idea to explain why.

Having some idea about the way Floslam etc are using subscription networks to show promotions all round the world to all round the world and got me wondering if something akin to it could be created on TEW.

The limit is related to the broadcaster's stance on wrestling. Not sure about exact numbers though.

How does it mesh with the fact that for example BHOTWG has a bunch of colorful masked characters, some belonging to lineages that have been vital for the company? I mean, are they being treated just like any other wrestler, without any thought spared for their masked persona?

In general, I am not sure how to imagine the "gimmicks have no impact" note in terms of what happens in the game world. I would understand a huge difference in the impact, but can you really imagine that a guy walks in as, dunno, an awesome dragon or on the other hand the worst rendition of a drag queen ever, wrestles in that persona, and that has ZERO impact on how the crowd reacts? O.o

I think it refers to no impact on booking. So, The Undertaker is a literal dead person with Supernatural powers? Sure, whatever.

Brock Lesnar is generic monster heel #46436? Sure, go for it.

It might have been pre-set in the editor but if you're playing CVerse it's most definitely a very good destiny roll.

 9. Some things I found playing this for the first time. - AJPW, AAA, NJPW, CMLL, Osaka Pro, Michinoku Pro, BJW, IWA PR, NOAH and ZERO-One don't have owners. Should be Motoko Baba for AJPW, Antonio Peña for AAA, Antonio Inoki for NJPW, Francisco Lutteroth for CMLL, Super Delfin for Osaka, Great Sasuke for Michi, Shiniya Kojika for BJW, Mitsuharu Misawa for NOAH. Not sure about IWA and Zero-One. - Also, it seems like these promotions have no roster whatsoever. - At this point, NJPW should be Cult. They should have Hyper Realism as Key Feature and Hyper Realism should be very unpopular in Japan. I think this is when Riki Chosu was booker, should have a low skill. Also, Inoki's style preference should be MMA-Influenced wrestling. - Motoko Baba to have a Strong Dislike with Misawa. - NOAH roster to be loyal to Misawa. - AJPW might aswell be Cult too - NOAH should have some more popularity. I think 60 ~ 65ish all over Japan and 70 ~ 75 in Kanto. - Super Dragon, Excalibur, Joey Ryan, Disco Machine, Top Gun Talwar and Scott Lost to be Best Friends/Loyal to eachother. - Jeff Jarett should be loyal to TNA

Is there a hard rule on this, or does it vary depending on other factors (i.e. owner's personality or something)?

I think it's two sizes. So, if an Alliance has only Cult companies, they'll only allow Regional to join and only National will want to join. Small/Local companies meanwhile will be barred while International/Global will not show interest.

 22. What's a good Tag Name for Chris Sabin and LA Parka? Keep in mind this is NOAH in early 2001
