1. I don't remember my early hires really (I don't still have any of them except Seth Whitehead who is dirt cheap). I just remember I didn't cover travel in my contracts which let me have a broader search. Just use them to boost your UC, get him over as fast as you can so you can start to carry the company. Next, you can hire better competition that's on par with your pushed worker.
2. End of Year Three Notes in Chronological Order January Texas Pete showed up to the show drunk. I caved and fined him instead of firing. Next time, I swear! February Seth Whitehead is building a clique with Joel Bryant and Aldous Blackfriar September After all the recent patches I got it down to about 1.5k loss per month, but it has grown to about 2.5k because the industry and economy are in the D/E range and falling. I cut a lot of workers. I decided to keep my max size at small for now, either until the competition’s production values drop (I believe they earned a ton of money and banked it from the recent patch, so they should be operating at a loss and eventually drop their production values). I’m also hoping that the economy/industry will be on the upswing when I move up to regional. December Finally making a profit, I hit about 5k at the end of this month. I'm going to build up my bank a little bit before I get ready to move to regional. The industry is falling but economy is rising. 3. If you guys are curious how the patch has changed money before you fire your game back up, these are my sponsorship total for the last three patches (I'm in a small fed): 47k 5k 10k It seems that after getting nerfed, the sponsorship was approximately doubled. The show cost halved for me, from 6,000 to 3,000 (I run one event per month). My loss per month dropped from -38k to -30k. If I cut my production costs, and cut some bigger workers (I was signing some big talent for a small promotion after the huge sponsorship buff), I think it will be okay and pretty balanced. We'll see!
4. I did it on a worker that, at the time, was not over some other guys on the roster and was missing a little star quality. By the end of the year he was the most over worker on the roster, but still had a little missing in star quality. He started as 4% improvement to attendance and 10% to merch. Later in the year he improved to 8% and 30%, respectively.
5. In every sim I've done so far he goes over really fast in Tri-State with the company he is signed with.
6. Lazy Sunday! End of Year Two Notes in Chronological Order -I eventually boosted my production to be competitive with all other small companies -Aldous Blackfriar suffered a broken leg while working for another company. He was out 6 months and was my top heel. To make up for his absence, I made my biggest signing to date, an opener that TCW was letting go that I’d pick up: Killer Shark -A smaller talent that had some good momentum, Cobra, suffered a herniated disk and had a timetable of a year before returning. -In April Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling became Hostile with me. It makes sense; I’m a small promotion with a lot of momentum based in Tri-State, with PSW also being based in Tri-State as at a regional size. They see me coming up the ranks and potentially taking them over. -In response to PSW become hostile with me, I signed Ash Campbell (a mutual worker) to an exclusive deal with me. He was a main eventer for them, and it only cost me 20 extra dollars per appearance. -I also offered Ernest Youngman an exclusive PPA contract. He was with me early on and left on bad terms. Now that the business and economy have improved, the tension has slightly simmered (he still has morale issues, but was willing to sign). It cost me $1200 per appearance, a lot more than I wanted to pay, but it’s worth it for an over worker that will hurt the competition with his absence. -I’m expecting to be at war with PSW sooner rather than later. -At the beginning of August I picked up Joel Bryant on a pretty pricey contract, rounding out my top talent nicely -At the end of August I had to deal with poaching for the first time. Ernest Youngman (my exclusive PPA) and Ash Campbell (another exclusive PPA) got poached by RIPW on an exclusive developmental contract. There wasn’t anything I really could do, so I went out looking for a couple of new workers. Just when things were going really well! I would still have minimum roster size with them gone, but I’m still going to search for the sake of safety. -At the beginning of September I was able to kill two birds with one stone. The signing? Texas Pete. Texas Pete has good popularity and will help soften the loss of Ash (upper midcarder) and Ernest (upper midcarder who put on B- matches with my character). Texas Pete was a main eventer for NYCW and PSW, and I signed him to an exclusive PPA. That’s three workers I’ve taken from PSW (though two have left me) and two I’ve taken from NYCW. Texas Pete is a main eventer. Also, Aldous Blackfriar returned, but he won’t have the impact he had 6 months ago. -In October TCW fell to Cult and the news said that they were in serious trouble. Also I was able to sign Freddie Datsun to a PPA as USPW was not going to resign him. I also picked up Brett Biggins who SWF did not resign. -Mid October I became hostile with RIPW and PWC -Texas Pete has a drug and alcohol problem. He upset some workers by performing drunk. I decided to drug test him, and it came out positive for soft drugs. I didn’t know what to do when prompted, so decided to fine him in hopes of him improving his behavior. It upset him and some of his friends. If he performs drunk/high again, I’ll have to decide between firing him and sending him to rehab. (December) (Other noteworthy incidents: NOTBW got absorbed by SWF... TCW, USPW, and SWF have been flirting with National back and forth... USPW currently sits at national and the #1 org... BCG closed its doors...) 7. End of Year One Finally got to the end of year one. We are currently small and have finally gotten out of the hole. I've boosted some production values so that I can start to compete with other small companies, but I'm playing cautiously. My character is doing well. He's insanely over at 85 in Tri-state. He's 35 pop in other close areas that I haven't even been to. He's the figurehead of my company and gives a +4% boost to attendance and +10% boost to merch. My company is currently hostile with NYCW. I'm expecting us to be on PSW's radar soon. Rolls Year 1: 53. "Casting Call" Hollywood is calling you with a "Major Role", add +10 between your Acting and Star Quality. Add Movie Star to your character (Other Genre) - I'm putting it all in SQ
8. The new patch is definitely helpful. I had just gotten to September, where I started to turn a small profit, then got this patch. I'm currently at small, and am moving to one show a month to help make up the loss (currently 70k in debt). I just finished October with one show, and made, so I should be out of debt next month. I just made 40k! The problem is that I had to abuse some workers on the last patch. I could only have 3 workers besides my guy per event, which really hurt everyones morale. There are a lot of workers at my level that now refuse to negotiate contracts with me! We'll see how it goes. As far as my created worker is concerned, he's carrying the company. I have him doing two promos and a match per night. Each promo is A to A*. His popularity in the tri-state area is currently 85. He's doing very well!

12.
I just lost my second save. I tried going one event a month with very low cost workers until I started a profit, and then switched to somewhat better workers. It was working, and I was making a profit of between 2-3k a month, but I got closed after about a year and a half with approximately 20k left in debt. I didn't really want to try it the 4 shows a month way, as that seemed less realistic, but it looks like that may have to happen.

For people that were successful with 4 shows a month, how long were your shows? 15.
I've got mine set up and am ready to roll! I created a guy that is all about the entertainment and star power, but is pretty poor when it comes to core wrestling skills. I've done two shows and have lost money on each. I'm trying to keep costs minimum by having only 2 matches and a 1 hour show. Any recommendations for not crashing your company quickly?

16. How do I start my character that is not an "Avatar" character, one that I can completely customize?
17. My top guys right now are Joel Bryant (after he wasn't resigned), Ross Henry, and Velocidad (wasn't resigned). Greg Gauge and Rudy Velasquez are about to be sniped from me (I'm PPA, regional). They're currently buddy buddy with each other and leaving their other friend, Jesus Chavez, behind. Luckily I didn't waste time pushing Gauge to the moon, as I saw the writing on the wall as soon as I signed him. Rudy leaving as well is a surprise though, I thought Ash Campbell or Bulldozer would have been sniped first. As another gent said, the drop in sponsorship has screwed me over a bit. I'm bleeding about 20-30k a month, but have some time to right the ship. I'll probably have to drain the popularity of one of my main eventers then release him.
18. I know that I can see economy changes in size, but is there a way to see wrestling industry values?
19. That's strange. I'm at regional level, but my sponsorship has gone: 147k, 148k, 147k, 145k, 122k, 123k, 123k, 111k and 97k. I haven't changed my product and always have had traditional and mainstream as key features.
20. How can I make sure I get more money from sponsors? Is it directly related to popularity in the country? (I have a favorable brand for sponsors, high traditional and entertainment)
21. From what I've noticed (and someone with more experience can correct me) is that when a crowd is buzzing (in match notes), the match afterwards can tend to suffer from burn out. Calming the crowd after an insane match helps.
22. I switched to numbers, and the popularity has either dropped or stayed the same since the beginning of the game. I'm running a show a week and an event a month. The game has been getting me to tour throughout USA with my shows and events, hitting every region. Should I ignore that and stick to one or two? (I'm at regional level)
23. For a dingus who can't find where to switch to numbers, where would that be?
24. I'm looking for some advice. I created a company and am now at the beginning of July. My momentum has moved from F- to D+. My show ratings are usually around C-. I'm seeing an increase in the amount of people wanting to go to my shows (by about 1,000 since the beginning). My rankings versus competitors in regions have moved from last to first or second, but I'm not seeing any increase in popularity ratings or importance. I'm currently on Los Deporte Hoy (with ratings of C- when all they want is E+, but they're unwilling to budge on the time slot), but am hoping to eventually get a network with a little more exposure. Do I just keep plugging away? I'm operating at a loss of around 20k a month, so I need to see some positives within the next 6 months or so.
25. I currently am running a company that I started called OWO (Omega Wrestling Organization) based in USA. I was really struggling to put together anything above a D+ in terms of matches/angles, and those D+s were few and far between. My momentum had slowly grown from F- to F after February. Then I saw a news article. Joel Bryant wasn't going to be resigned by TEW. I threw out a PPA for him and nabbed him. I also found another worker Ross (can't remember his last name, currently at work) who is about B- popularity. I've put those two in a storyline and it's fireworks. It's a great boost to my product and is helping pull the other main eventers (Ash Campbell and Bulldozer... something) up! Also, North of the Border snagged Rocky Golden over South of the Border, USPW and SWF!
