Can companies go out of business without being bought out by another company? I'm going to be playing the New Blood Jan 2001 mod, and I'm just wondering if I don't buy out WCW, will they just close or will they keep struggling on.

<p>So I'm doing some future planning on a New Blood 2001 save and I want to introduce a Major/Minor brand split, not sure whether it will be on Smackdown or just create a new show and cancel Smackdown, I don't like having two A shows a week, I'd much rather space out my PPV's, I know the game probably doesn't punish this butoi think having two A Shows over expose.</p><p> </p><p>
This minor brand will combine the future main wrestlers as well as current main roster wrestlers who will have drop in and out to feud with the new guys, so they will be there just for the rivalry then pop back on to the main roster. Kind of a cross between NXT and ECW revival. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to get their through storyline and also what titles should be on there if any? Unlike NXT/ECW I don't want it to have a separate company feel, it's basically WWF B.</p><p> </p><p>
In terms of titles, I will be getting rid off the Hardcore title and replacing it with a TV title, and I won't have the the Light Heavyweight title, not sure if I'll bring a title to replace that, I like pushing lightweights up the card and I end up feeling like my LH/CW title should be contested by my best lightweights. So I will probably create new titles for this minor brand, will probably have a singles and tag team, I don't bother with women's wrestling, if I done a modern day mod I probably would, got a lot more to work with.</p><p> </p><p>
So the two questions are: What do I call the two titles and how do I get there through storyline? Also any other suggestions or ideas in general.</p>

I introduced the CWC as a main event title. Currenty <strong><em>La Sombra</em></strong> is champion, the title was defended every monday on RAW to get prestige level with the WHC, both titles have 80 prestige whilst WWE title has 90. Long term plans for this is to have Sami Zayn defeat La Sombra at Battleground and face Neville at SummerSlam which brings me to......</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WWE Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions</strong>: <strong><em>Neville and Sami Zayn</em></strong>, inaugral champions and are going to find themselves dropping the title to Rising Sun ( Marafuji and Itami) and then find themselves going on to battle each other at SummerSlam</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WWE Intercontinental Championship</strong>: <strong><em>Dolph Ziggler</em></strong>, Dolph won this during my failed brand split, i turned him heel and had Dana Brooke manage him, best decision ive done for Dolph, hes in a series with Cesaro just now and I want to give the title to Cesaro but Ziggler is just doing so well i cant do it.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WWE United States Champion</strong>: <strong><em>Shinsuke Nakamura</em></strong>. Nakamura was called up in January 2017, he won the title at Fast Lane in February and has been undefeated since his debut, hes on the cusp of Main Event i want to keep him undefeated until Wrestlemania when i plan on him facing someone for one of the World Championships, Nakamura had an insane series of matches with Zack Sabre Jr, that just seem to have raised prestige in the title to the same as the IC belt as well as pushing both men to the Upper Midcard.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WWE Tag Team Championships</strong>: <strong><em>Gallows and Anderson</em></strong>, they won a triangle ladder natch at mania, Theyre neither damaging the title or raising its prestige, long term plans are for the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag team Classic to beat them at SummerSlam.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tournaments</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Royal Rumble:</strong> John Cena</p><p> <strong>Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Cassic:</strong> The Usos 2016 - Apollo Crews and Jack Swagger will win it 2017</p><p> <strong>Cruiserweight Invitational</strong>Winner earns CWC title shot at SummerSlam - Neville</p><p> <strong>Money in the Bank:</strong> Brock Lesnar</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I had the same problem in a Ruthless Aggression save, but I just made the IC Title a main event title. Treated US as my Upper Midcard title, Had Regal feud with Mysterio to make the cruiserweight title the European title, had that as my Midcard title, and then introduced a TV title, which was floating, it would be defended every week in a random lottery, my first champion was Big Show just to give it some credibility from the start.</p>

I need an idea for a new name in my SWF game, I plan for Haley Buck to be a Kayfabe Russian and the manger for Marat Khoklov and any other Kayfabe (and real) Russians I happen to pick up; however to execute this properly, I need a new name for Haley, do you guys have any suggestions?

<p>I'm not a Japanese wrestling buff by any means, but there being only 5 Japanese wrestlers yet to debut, it's a bit of an immersion killer, I noticed it when looking for Kota Ibushi, it means that if you have organic wrestlers turned off, which you probably would with a mod set in the past, that the japanese wrestling scene will become stale after a number of in game years.</p><p> </p><p>
I have a list that i'm thinking of importing from fleischs real world mod of 150 workers (150 exactly, just counted, I have the list in a notepad document)</p>

Will there be more Japanese workers set as yet to debut? As I'm playing the converted mod, and when searching for japanese workers that are yet to debut, there are only 5. Still love the mod, just means that I'll have to import a load from modern real world mods, and then create the picture for them, just would be cool to already have them in there.

The only free agent that showed up that really interested me was Sid Vicious, but contract negotiations went south and now he refuses to negotiate with me. Obviously, anybody from ECW or WWF are out of the question.</p><p> </p><p> I could always have it be someone on the current WCW roster, someone like Sting, but I don't really want to rehash the Sting/NWO feud at this point. I'm thinking of turning SmackDown into a B show, so I can have Raw revolve around my main story-lines and main event/upper mid card talent, I'd still like to run lesser story lines on SmackDown, are their disadvantages to this? Like will it limit the heat of the storyline or hurt the potential popularity growth of the guys i'm trying to put over? I find it hard to run two A shows, without running out of ideas for the Main Event, with going full Teddy Long every week. (Tag match with two rivals).
Sorry, just going to bump this question, as I feel it may not be being seen as it was the last post on the previous page, I know thread bumping is frowned upon, but hopefully this is acceptable.

<p>Nah, I find it too limiting in terms of booking matches and storylines, I like having a large roster, I have 96 active wrestlers. I used iDOLS Ruthless Aggression mod, which started with one, but I ended it after 'Mania. I'm about to have an Elimination Chamber match between Eddie, Brock, Triple H, Shawn, Edge and Jericho, couldn't have a match that awesome with a brand split. </p><p> </p><p>
Each title has a purpose.</p><p> </p><p>
WWE World - Main Event exclusive</p><p> </p><p>
IC - Main Event/Upper Midcard (I have it set as main event, so main eventers don't get pissy about holding it)</p><p> </p><p>
US - Upper Midcard/Midcard</p><p> </p><p>
European - Midcard/Lower Midcard (although Regal is auto pushed at uppermidcard at the moment, but for storyline purposes he had to be the 1st, he beat Mysterio to retire the cruiserweight title and instead reinstated the european title)</p><p> </p><p>
TV - Has its own unique purpouse, going to use it to get over lower midcarders and also give it to higher up wrestlers who I don't have anything for but don't want to job them out to the stars for a month.</p><p> </p><p>
Womens and Tag - Unique divisions, obviously.</p>
