1. Agreed. A lot of the talk is about how people should be matched throughout their careers etc. I think a lot of this is also probably down to the social media element, especially in the UK with the promoters now doing interviews with youtube channels such as iFL / Boxing Social. They are using these channels to promote their fights, but they are also giving a far greater insight into the world of boxing and its promoters.
 2. eBoxing Promoter is probably worth a look at for ideas of how a promotional game may look. It is a free browser game. Last time I played it, I quite liked how they went about the amateur scene which is the future lifeblood of boxing. I.E. turn amateurs turning pro after the Olympics etc

Could have learnt martial arts inside or been a champion prior to going inside.

Inspiration for characters;

Mike Tyson - widely regarded as the baddest man on the planet. But what effect has a lengthy prison sentence had on his skills.

James Scott - a man who beat the number 1 contender for the light heavyweight title...whilst he was in prison. Such was his notoriety , his professional fights took place in prison settings and were shown on TV.

Bernard Hopkins. - a young fighter who has just rediscovered his love for fighting in prison. He hopes it will keep him from going back inside but things start disastrously losing his first fight. Can this extremely talented individual overcome this major setback and go on to have an illustrious career.

Ike ibeabuchi - on the cusp of a title shot after some thrilling fights, can Ike regain his former glories after a good decade in jail.

 5. Can someone give me a run down of all the various attributes of a fighter. I want to create a couple of boxing only companies but not sure of what the attributes are. I can't download the demo so can't look at the manual. Thanks.
 6. How often do people win wrestler of the year? I never seem to get anywhere near! Absoolutely dominated by Japanese wrestlers (98 period). My top guy was Austin in 30th !
 7.
Montreal Aftermath

Currently in Jul 98.

Following the screwjob Owen entered a feud which lasted until WM, going over against HHH and then winning the RR to set up a WM ME against HBK. However, he came up short. This then enabled Austin vs HBK to be set in motion, with Austin finally going over HBK at KOTR. HBK has now been sent on three months leave, and will be back in time for an angle at survivor series. This enforced break will give me a chance to sort out the morale in the locker room, which HBK has done his best to destroy with turning people against Owen and Vader. HHH is set to enter a feud with Austin, assisted by a newly formed DX which will include X-Pac and Too Cool, who have just been brought up from development.

NAO have just dropped the tag titles to Ahmed Johnson and Vader.

The Rock is in his third run with the IC title and has just entered a feud with Mankind (who just won KOTR). Plan is for The Rock to leave the IC title behind before too long. He is now recognised as the second top man in the company behind Austin, pushing HBK into third. Likely to remain heel for the longer-term, as the build up starts for Austin vs The Rock at WM in 99.

 8.
Montreal Aftermath. Currently in June 98 and Hogan is set to re-join the WWF in one days time, which should give a considerable boost to the main event scene, which is somewhat lacking in comparison to WCW. Long-term plan is for him to feud with HBK after Hogan wins the rumble and for Hogan to go over for the title at Mania 99. Current champion is Austin who went over HBK at Mania. Currently involved with a feud against Vince, Kane and Mike Tyson. Tyson actually puts on decent matches, and he will be going 1 vs 1 against Austin at SS, following Kane & Tyson beating Austin in a handicap match at the prior PPV.

Will have a decision to make over my figurehead, stay with Austin or give the job to Hogan. No indication of how Austin is doing, as he hasn't done 12 months yet.

The Rock is on the verge of the ME scene after 17 successful defences of his IC title. He has been lacking a great feud tho - hopefully he will achieve it against his new opponent Ken Shamrock.

 9.
<img alt="taker.jpg" data-src="https://s32.postimg.org/coryis011/taker.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Montreal Aftermath Mod. Currently 1 day away from No Way Out PPV and around 6 weeks away from WM.

The Undertaker has left my longer-term plans in turmoil. He is currently engaged in a feud with Kane, and was set to go over at No Way Out. They were then to have a re-match at WM, where Kane would go over in a gimmick match. Taker would then disappear for a month or two, while Kane entered a feud with the newly crowned champion Austin. Taker was then to return and turn heel and align with Kane, with the brood joining as a ministry type element, with Taker winning the belt from Austin at the back end of the year.

Taker is now classed as toxic, for anywhere between 3 months - 3 years.

Big decision to make now, as Taker is now going to cost me revenue. Already up against it with WCW's star power and riches, do I pull the plug on one of my biggest draws, or persevere and hope it's only a short-term problem...
