  1. Cheers.

Does anyone know if finishes via stomps and soccer kicks specifically aren't in the game currently? I've had it many times where a fighter is dropped and then kicked or stomped but the finish always ends up happening by punches anyway.

Never saw this do any good. If anything, that is usually wasting a good fighter's opportunity to finish an opponent. Therefore I banned those stomps altogether and fights are actually better now.

  2. So one issue I've long had with the fight simulation is how fighters get stood up from advantageous ground positions, like back locks, full mounts and side control. This just doesn't happen in real life (well, really rare). At the same time I don't want referee to not stand up the fighters who are long locked in a guard for example.

Would be good to see referees adjusted to either not stand fighters up from those positions or have probability significantly reduced.

  3. well, there are still a number of improvements I would like to see really (more like quality of life) - like directly controlling a child company, changing venue after booking the fights (but before ending current day), being able to see fighters' ranking outside of top 25 and sort by that ranking, assign fighters to gyms...there's a lot of improvements to be had if given opportunity. Not sure they warrant a new game though. Maybe a DLC?
  4. Hey mate just a quick view over your suggested names (i'm going to post the top 10 rankings of my promotion later)

Jens Halle (25-7): He went to BCF in 2005 as a current SIGMA Champ and won the BCF Welterweight title in his very first bout. He lost the belt immediately to Brian O'Flaherty (Brian went to my promotion after that bout), but won it back in August 2007. He lost the belt in September 2008 against Jerome Atkins and retired.

Nathan Chambers (25-9, 3-1 BUSHIDO): Chambers lost four fights since start of the save at GAMMA, lost to Brubaker via TKO in the 1st round (title bout), and then was cut after two losses in a row. I picked him up. He beats Agdestein, Napier & Iriye, but lost to Julio Gutierrez.

Josh Aldarisio (19-5-1NC): He lost three in a row at GAMMA, one NC because of a failed drug test and was released. He fought Cooper Richardson on an indy show in Nov' 05 and retired.

Manuel Silva (27-3): Dominant champion in GAMMA. He lost the belt to Brubaker in 2003, but won it back from him in 2004 and defended the belt 4 times (Allen, Blood, Rhodes & Blood). He lost the belt to Brubaker back in 2008 and was knocked out by Christopher Earle in the very first round. I tried to sign him, but he always stayed loyal to GAMMA.

Fiyero Lemontov (29-2, 1-0 BUSHIDO): The russian became GAMMA champ defeating Jake Keane, defended the belt 4 times (Helio, Danare, Keane & Keane) but lost it to Lamont Banner. I signed him in 2008, he won his debut fight against Lukas Mellberg and is now scheduled to fight Korekiyo Anzai.

Georges Nouri (17-6, 1-1 BUSHIDO): He signed for BUSHIDO in 2005, won his debut bout easily. He then fought Manoel Cabral, lost and retired in November 2005.

Sean Morrison (31-8): Sean lost to Jake Keane and Elvis Millisis and surprisingly was cut. I could not pick him up back then, so he fought one fight on the indies and retired in March 2004.

Jake Keane (30-11, 1-2 BUSHIDO): Keane had wars with Lemontov, just like i said above. I signed him Dec' 2005 but he didn't had an impact here. He won his debut bout, but lost in the 1st round vs Luke Hilton and was

knocked out by Korekiyo Anzai. He's now schedulded to fight Folke Dalen next.

Helio (29-4-1, 1-1 BUSHIDO): I signed him in February 2005 as a current GAMMA champion. He won his debut bout, but was quickly submit by Manoel Cabral. He left us back to GAMMA (they gave him a tons of cash), won four bouts there and left them again for us. He's now scheduled to fight Carl Chenoweth at our next big US-show.

Yeah, I'm at the end of 2004. Not as many folks retired yet. Surprising to see some of the icons doing not so well though. Also Keane losing to Hilton... what a shame

  5. <p>Yeah, also quite weird to see Claire Peyton defeat Mallasz and Sadorra.</p><p>

Btw, I don't see any real deal fighters in either Welterweight or Lightweight (except Sukarno maybe). Where are Jens Halle (absolute beast in my game), Nathan Chambers, Josh Aldarisio, Manuel Silva? </p><p>

In Lightweight I would expect to see Lermontov, Nouri, Morrison, Keane, Helio...where are all of these guys?</p>

  6. <p>there's a ton of mods in the Mod subsection with pre-set fighters, both fictional and real world ones, debuting anywhere from early 2000s and to 2016 as far as I remember. You can have close to 6-10 thousands of fighters total depending on how picky you are. </p><p>

There's also a huge number of awesome fighter renders in the render thread, especially by LoNdOn, greywolf00 and domj29 - those guys work like machines and have produced enough renders to make another game.</p>

  7. This is something I was wondering about for a while (and even asked a question somewhere, but didn`t get an answer): do the members of a team impact the training in that team somehow (i.e. to reflect that a fighter trains together with all those other fighters - like someone training with Buddy Garner would probably become better at Jiu Jitsu, even if the gym wasn't specializing in it).
  8. I have never seen Philip Ziskie do as poorly as he's done in my latest XCC game. In hindsight maybe I should have gave him a few more easier guys before putting him up against Banner again, but still.

I had no choice but to cut him after he got knocked out by every top contender, and then he somehow managed to tap out to Clint Royle of all people.

That's what I was talking about in the Globalverse thread - it's not that the new fighters are that good. It's that this game is unpredictable and tried and tested superstars can sometimes fail miserably. I had Terron Cabal going on a 8-0 streak in one game and barely managing to keep up with 2-2 in another one.

  9. <p>Name: Alex Steinhausenbergerdorff</p><p>

    Nickname: Too Long (mid)</p><p>

Bio: Having a long last name even by German standards, Alex had trouble rising to prominence despite having decent Muay Thai skills. A nickname given by an announcer on an amateur fight changed that.</p><p>

    Picture: (None)</p><p> </p><p>

    Gender: Male</p><p>

    Sexuality: Heterosexual</p><p>

    Age/Birth Month: 18/July</p><p>

    Nationality: German</p><p>

    Ethnicity: White</p><p>

    Hometown: Tauberbischofsheim, Germany</p><p> </p><p>

    Personality: Normal</p><p>

    Persona: Joker</p><p>

    Stance: Prefers Orthodox</p><p> </p><p>

    Height: 6'3"</p><p>

    Walking Weight: 190</p><p>

    Best Weight: 185</p><p>

    Career Goals: Career</p><p> </p><p>

    Fighting Style: Muay Thai</p><p>

Starting Stats: will submit in Excel?</p><p> </p><p>

    Attribute: Combat: Hates to Roll</p>

  10. <p>Made these fighters debut in 2000s (to fit into my current game) and having no issues them being too powerful. In fact, all of them are quite weak which I attributed to them actually coming from 10 years back. </p><p>

Also, it can be VERY different from game to game. In my current game Terron Cabal is a beast with 26-0, having wiped out nearly every solid competitor. In another game I'm playing with my friends Cabal is a very average fighter and has lost quite a few fights already, including to Tony McCall.</p>
