    Yeah, that's hilarious. Do you always make references to wrestling simulators, that only you know about, in normal conversation? You must be a real hit with the ladies, bro. Got any other tips?

     

    Oh gee I reference a wrestling simulator that was made by the same guy who makes the game this message board is for. I guess I stupidly thought someone else might have heard of it. Sorry about that. I guess someone didn't get their cheerios because they decided to take what was a little good hearted fun and make a personal attack. And yes, since you asked. I am a hit with the ladies, but not because of my unlimited knowledge of wrestling simulators, though I got one that does love it when I start talking about space mountain, but I digress, I don't waste my wit on those that won't get it. I make sports jokes around people that like sports, I make political jokes around people into politics. Its all in good fun, and 90% of the time I make fun of myself, because if the opportunity is there, my ego can take the hit. Now, while you're trying to figure out your comeback, (I'll even help you make fun of my hair, I got my head shaved yesterday) I'm going to go back to actually contributing to the community.     Say whaaaaaaaat? Where did you find this information? Pinky's 'catchphrases' were "narf" and "poit" and "egad," but never "dork" or "snarf." The best connection I can make other than an obvious Doink reference is the fact that Snarf was a character from Thundercats, but that's a huge reach.

     

    What I wanted to respond with:

     

    "I loved Pinky and the Brain. My favorite episode was the one where they tried to take over the world through professional wrestling when Brain formed World Domination Wrestling and Pinky formed Narf Poit Wrestling :p"

     

    But, I know somebody wouldn't get what I was referring to and respond:

     

    "I've seen every episode of Pinky and the Brain and I never saw that one"

     

    So instead, I'm going to go watch WWE 24/7.

    Praguepride was giving me heck in another thread because I mentioned once upon a time that there was a thread discussing all the pop culture references in the Cornellverse. So, I thought I'd start a new thread to discuss them as we all know there are multiple Monty Python, Buffy, and Spinal Tap references in the game.

     

    ***Disclaimer*** all items referenced in this thread are the opinion of the poster and do not imply that Adam intentionally placed them there.

     

    I'll mention a couple obvious ones:

     

    Ash Campbell- Army of Darkness (Ash is the main character portrayed by Bruce Campbell)

     

    Ring Generals- Muppets (Waldorf and Statler are the old guys in the balcony)

    I know you're taking a break so no hurry (I probably won't get to it for quite a while) but if you turn the N into an X and put the XWA logo where the NWA logo is now, I'd find a way to work it into my diary
