I have no idea. I was making thousands at local and small thanks to the first patch a week or so back. That coupled with having no name workers has me sitting pretty cozy financially speaking.
How much money do you have? I guess I am trying to figure out if we are talking $10,000 or $100,000.

Just to let everyone know you CAN use my alts for dynasties or mods thank you to all the users that have pm'd me for permission to use my alts. I do this because I was a lurker on the boards for years not that good at making mods tried to render not good either so this is the way I give back to the community I always enjoy see people use my alts on the dynasties. That sounds like a good idea but I don't yet have a grasp of how shows affect income. (like does sponsorship care if you run shows?)
Off the top of my head my profit formula is =SUM(sponsorship+(shows*ticket price*attendees) and my cost formula is =SUM(fixed costs+(shows*(show cost*average worker costs)).
You then make rows for months with a running tally of your balance. By changing variables you can plan over a year out for what expected cash flow should be.

Tips on how to deal with a past his prime Main Eventer? I have Joel Bryant, and he's been good for me for a good 3 years. He's 49 now, and his stamina is in the tank (40), and he can't really put on good matches anymore. I'm trying to get other people over him, but he refuses to lose to them (he becomes very unhappy). The only person that he's willing to let beat him is my UC, who is the figurehead.
I can't really cut him because he is the mentor of two workers and good friends with another. It would start a riot. He's also great backstage.
I've tried to get him to become my road agent, but he refused. Tips?
Does keep strong and domination work? If he is popular enough the opponent will still gain popularity (or at least it has moved people up the card anecdotally) while draining his popularity until he is low enough to agree to take falls.

I would make an excel sheet that you can use to forecast your expected costs and income. then by altering one variable (shows per month) you can project when you should be running more versus less to meet your goals.

It would give you a very small popularity boost around the world that is essentially useless because you won't ever visit those areas (at least not for many years when you're at at local) and the pop boost would go away due to not being seen in the region
DVD generates money that is especially useful for the small promotions
Do we have anything other than anecdotal ideas on this.
I have tested my current save and have gotten no increase in merchandise when switching to DVD, but do see a (slight) decrease in sponsorship from not having internet popularity with patch 1.07.

I created an alliance with a World Title and World Tag Team Titles. There are 5 promotions in the alliance. Will the AI ever borrow the titles and use them. Or do I have to. Ive gone 2 years and neither one has been defended.
One potential issue could be financial. If the champion is too expensive, or the promotions can't afford to borrow the bests, then it could prevent them from being utilized.

I was about 100k in debt though...
I would put something in tech about that as Adam (via player's manual) said that shouldn't happen.
Also, looking at your above roster, I think part of your problem is the cost of the folks you are bringing in. At the early stages you don't need to be spending 700 a pop, the most you need is 300 (including on your referee). The low level guys will get penalties, but they will keep you alive until you have a good base.

LIWC just went bankrupt again before the 18-month grace period ended. If you go too far in the red, is the grace period ignored?

You had the company set to open January 2016, as opposed to the default January 2006, right?

In August 2016 currently, have been running 2 shows a month and by only paying four wrestlers a show have never gone more than $5,000 in debt. Economy is tanking, so I might have to drop to one show a month for a bit. I definitely feel running multiple shows a week is unrealistically gamey.
