He does in my Dynasty. But no, in real life, he's been gone from WWE for a long time. I knew him way back when I lived in Louisville, during his OVW days.. and I always saw a great deal of talent in him. Yeah, he was a part of some shady business with Paige and Woods... but we still don't know who leaked what and so I made the decision to bring him in as a personality. Truth be told, I still haven't fully decided what to do with him (so, no, he is not going to be the yet-to-be-named Smackdown General Manager).. but I like him, so I hired him back on.

Brad Maddox: WWE Universe, it is good to be home! Brad Maddox here with Breaking News surrounding the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship. Before we get to the future, let's start with what has happened during the Shutdown with all players involved. Becky Lynch went in to the Shutdown as RAW Women's Champion. Bayley went in as Smackdown Women's Champion. Shayna Baszler decisively won the #1 Contender's Elimination Chamber Match, therefore she entered the Shutdown as #1 Contender to Lynch's title. In May, Becky Lynch announced that she was expecting her first child and therefore would be forced to give up her RAW Women's Championship. At this time, no decision had been made regarding what would happen to the title. Before a decision could be made, the blockbuster WWE Reboot Trade Agreement took place and MASSIVE changes were made. RAW would draft the Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley and her best friend Sasha Banks. RAW would also draft NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley and the 2020 Royal Rumble winner, Charlotte Flair. Smackdown would draft Becky Lynch, along with her #1 Contender Shayna Baszler and Asuka. Per the rules of the Draft, the Champions would swap titles. Bayley was given the RAW Women's Championship and technically, Becky Lynch was given the Smackdown Women's Championship. After the draft, Lynch would go on social media and proclaim that she wanted to give her now-vacated Championship to the woman she deemed the "toughest opponent in her entire career": Asuka. This sat well with everyone except the Irish Lass-Kicker's #1 Contender, the Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler. Baszler protested the decision and questioned how Lynch had the power to just give her title away, and apparently, WWE Officials (including the yet-to-be-revealed Smackdown General Manager) agreed with Baszler. The Monday Night Ministry quickly took advantage of their 4-on-3 situation and beat down the Viking Raiders and Aleister Black. Up and down the empty arena stairs, where Joe shoved Sheamus, forcing him to roll down an entire section of concrete staircase. Near the production equipment, where both men were sent through tables. Ultimately, they made their way back to the ring, where Joe used a fire extinguisher to lock on an even more brutal version of the Coquina Clutch. The first fall came as Shinsuke Nakamura was nailed by a double Superkick from the Usos, allowed Jey Uso to score first blood. The New Day and The Usos were having a good time at their opponents' expense. Pancakes were thrown around the ring and, at one point, a bucket of syrup was dumped on MVP's head. This distracted Cesaro and allowed Xavier Woods to roll him up for the pinfall elimination. Seething and sticky, MVP called Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin to his side. Disgusted by Zayn's treatment, the syrup and the overall direction this match was headed, The Hurt Business abandoned Zayn and walked out of the match. Zayn, now in an unwinnable 5-on-1 situation, pleaded for The New Day and The Usos to have mercy on him. They did not. Zayn was nailed with a Jey Uso Superkick, followed by a Jimmy Uso top rope splash. Xavier Woods hit Zayn with a Shining Wizard. Kofi Kingston stood Zayn up only to knock him back down with a Trouble In Paradise. And to finish off the match, Big E hit Zayn with the Big Ending and pinned him for the win! Two of the strongest women in WWE collide in October, as the EST of WWE Bianca Belair takes on the Sassy Southern Belle Lacey Evans. Both women look to make enough of an impact to immediately be placed in the RAW Women's Title picture in 2021. When we last saw Randy Orton, he was viciously attacking his former best friend Edge, who had just returned to WWE after a nine-year absence. Orton took it a step further by also attacking Edge's wife and WWE Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix. Orton will have to temporarily focus that rage elsewhere as he will go one-on-one with NXT upstart Dominik Dijakovic, who is looking to make the biggest splash of his career by defeating the multi-time World Champion Apex Predator. After a locker room confrontation at Shutdown: Part 1, Chelsea Green will have to prove that she "knows about winning" by defeating the first woman to have won both the RAW and Smackdown Women's Championships, the first woman to win an Elimination Chamber Match and a former Miss Money In The Bank: Alexa Bliss. Five Feet of Fury is a tall task for anyone. The ring will need to be reinforced when the hard-hitting Viking Raiders go to war with the returning Authors Of Pain. The AOP are looking to pick up right where they left off, defeating their opponents in the name of their Savior: The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins. The Viking Raiders are ready to once again thwart the efforts of anything Rollins-related. The closing of NXT and NXT:UK brings a massive number of Women Superstars to the WWE. Two looking to make a name for themselves prior to the 2021 WWE Re-opening are The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo and the Megaton Barbie Piper Niven. The WWE Reboot Trade Agreement reunites former RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Chad Gable and they'll compete at Shutdown: Part 2 against the evil European duo of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel, otherwise known as Imperium. They've travelled to the States, signed WWE contracts and they plan on taking over the Tag Team Division. This will be a good start for whichever team takes home the victory. WWE SHUTDOWN: PART 1 Sunday, September, Week 2, 2020 LIVE from Amway Center in Orlando, FL Attendance: 0 Tom Phillips and Corey Graves welcome the WWE Universe to Shutdown: Part 1! They run down tonight's line-up before getting to the opening match! Riddick Moss' power game was nothing for Mustafa Ali, who seemingly was able to counter Moss at every turn. The finish came as Moss tried to rush Ali but was met with a Superkick instead. Moss was in perfect position for Ali's 0-5-4, which he hit for the victory. Mustafa Ali d. Riddick Moss by pinfall in 10:54 Only a few minutes into the match, Kayden Carter attempted to suplex Dakota Kai from the apron back inside the ring. Kai reversed her weight, landing on top of Carter and, when Raquel Gonzalez latched on to Carter's foot, Kai scored an unexpected pinfall. Dakota Kai d. Kayden Carter by pinfall in 6:15 After the match, Kacy Catanzaro attempted to stop a double team, but ultimately found herself press slammed all the way from above Gonzalez's head to the floor. In a classic match of speed versus strength, Angel Garza used his cunning by playing dead as the much larger Killian Dain dragged him to the corner, setting him up for the Vader Bomb. Garza rolled out of the way as Dain crashed to the mat. Garza capitalized and managed to somehow wrap up Dain in a small package for the three count. Angel Garza d. Killian Dain by pinfall in 8:46 Angel Garza and Zelina Vega celebrated up the ramp as Nikki Cross slid in the ring to stop her husband, Killian Dain, who was repeatedly slapping himself in the head, mumbling to himself in anger. In a competitive and past-faced match, while Tony Nese was battling Lince Dorado on the outside, Gran Metalik attempted a springboard maneuver which was countered by a Mike Kanellis Superkick, which allowed Kanellis to score the pinfall. The Absolute d. Lucha House Party when Mike Kanellis pinned Gran Metalik in 13:20 After the victory, Maria Kanellis laughed in Kalisto's face as she entered the ring to celebrate with her team. Backstage, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross attempted to console Killian Dain, who felt like he disappointed his wife by losing his first match back on the main roster. The trio were interrupted by a laughing Chelsea Green, who labeled Dain as pathetic. Green went on to say that come 2021, no one will understand the concept of winning like Chelsea Green will. Alexa Bliss left Killian Dain's side and stood nose to nose with Chelsea Green. Bliss told Green that if she wanted to test her "winning" theory, then they should go one-on-one at Shutdown: Part 2. Green rolled her eyes and said, "Ugh, see you then," as she shoulder-checked Bliss and exited the locker room. After dominating for most of the match, Mia Yim and Natalya ultimately fell to a simple mistake. After a tag, Yim held Billie Kay up for the fresh Natalya, who went for her Discus Clothesline. Kay ducked and Natalya nailed Yim instead. This distraction allowed Kay to roll up Natalya and get the three count as Peyton Royce pulled Yim out of the ring before she could stop the pin. The IIconics d. Mia Yim & Natalya when Billie Kay pinned Natalya in 10:14 After the loss, Mia Yim and Natalya looked disappointingly at each other while The IIconics mocked them on their way up the ramp. In what was easily the match of the night, interference came from a very unexpected place: the TitanTron. After Dolph Ziggler nailed Keith Lee with a Zig-Zag, the arena lights went out and a mysterious hoodied figure appeared on the big screen. With a distorted voice, this apparent Hacker told Mandy Rose that he was excited to meet her on the first Smackdown of 2021 and let her in on a few secrets behind her relationships with Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville. As the Hacker vanished, Lee was back up and caught Ziggler in the Spirit Bomb for the win. Keith Lee d. Dolph Ziggler by pinfall in 15:55 After the match, Sonya Deville ran to the ring and attempted to defuse the confusion between Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose. Ziggler and Deville denied knowing what the mysterious Hacker was talking about, but Rose still left the ring and walked away from her best friend and her boyfriend, who ultimately chased her to the back, pleading with her to listen to them. During the interview, Samoa Joe officially announced that he was drafted to Smackdown and although he had fun behind the commentary table, he was ready to return to action and he had his eyes on the vacant Universal Championship! That was as far as the interview could go before Sheamus attacked Samoa Joe from behind. Charly Caruso ran off as the two massive men battled all around the backstage area until WWE Officials could separate them. Despite Sasha Banks' best efforts, Rhea Ripley seemingly had a counter for almost all her offense. Bayley was thrown out by the referee midway through the match, but after Ripley hit Banks with the Riptide, Bayley returned, jumped in the ring and nailed Ripley with her RAW Women's Championship. The referee signaled for the bell and awarded Ripley with a disqualification victory. Rhea Ripley d. Sasha Banks by disqualification in 12:02 After the attack, Bayley dragged Sasha Banks out of the ring and the duo made their way up the ramp to escape before Rhea Ripley recovered. The Superstars banded together and convinced new owner, Micah Cage, to hold a series of empty-arena events, in order to burn off the ring rust and, more importantly, entertain their fans who have been craving and demanding some action! Outgoing NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley will face her now-fellow RAW Superstar, Sasha Banks for the first time ever! Rhea is looking to put herself one step closer to Bayley's RAW Women's Championship, while Sasha wants to prove that she's more than just Bayley's sidekick. Dolph Ziggler has had arguably the best Summer of any WWE Superstar, living it up poolside with the gorgeous Mandy Rose. Keith Lee, on the other hand, has been biding his time, waiting to return to the ring and prove why he was the final NXT North American Champion and the future WWE or Universal Champion. Four Superstars still in limbo as far as which Brand they'll ultimately end up on are looking to prove to the General Managers of both RAW and Smackdown that they are top picks for their respective Women's divisions. Will the makeshift team of Natalya and Mia Yim work well enough together to defeat the Aussie besties? Will the IIconics year-long absence make it difficult to survive the experience of their opponents? As new as Riddick Moss is to the main roster, he ultimately went in to the Shutdown as the final 24/7 Champion. With that title now retired, Moss looks to prove that he's still Championship material and there are more titles in his future. He'll have to prove that against Mustafa Ali, who was shelved for most of 2020 and has a lot of angst ready to be unleashed on every opponent in his future. The Tag Team divisions of both RAW and Smackdown are looking to be the secret stars of both brands. The final rosters will show numerous teams looking to win their Brand's Tag Team Championships. Lucha House Party and the newly-formed Absolute are both going to go all out to show the WWE Universe why they'll be the leaders of the division in 2021. NXT will be delivering a massive number of names to both RAW and Smackdown upon re-opening and no division will prosper more than the Women's Division. To showcase that, newcomer Kayden Carter will square off against the Captain of Team Kick, Dakota Kai and both women are coming prepared. Carter will have her best friend, Kacy Catanzaro, by her side while Kai will be flanked by her new insurance policy, Raquel Gonzalez. After a short stint in NXT, Killian Dain returns to the main roster, which created an insane amount of happiness for his wife, Nikki Cross. He will go one on one with a newcomer to the RAW roster, Angel Garza, who will have the most dangerous Manager in WWE, Zelina Vega, by his side.
