More hiring rules in general would be nice, especially related to contracts
- Only offers handshake contracts
- Only offers written contracts to domestic talent
- Handshake contracts can not exceed (1/3/6/9/12) months
Etc
Nothing can really replace the touring regulars feature though unfortunately.
Maybe something that requires to select certain hiring rules. Like:
"Touring contracts usually last for 3/6/9/12/x appearancess"
It's not perfect, but might be close enough

612 minute long show
-
Tours work differentley now. So it's not as simple as using the 2016 system

Ah! My bad and thx
I've been looking for him under all of his other names

Hey, just wanna say that you can add Heidi Howitzer, Shawn Kemp and Jay Malachi to the list.
I really did think I was done adding, but uh... didn't realize Heidi wasn't in main RWC, and her 'n Max won the New South tag belts. Lol
Then after that, DPW announced another batch of debutees for Fire! And I wanna try to not leave people without the full announced roster. So imma try and get Kemp and Malachi added over the next hour or so. Then head to bed.
Maybe also add Leon Ravage to complete the Wastelanders

Is there anything I can do to get past popularity caps? Right now I can only find a small handful of individuals who CAN reach 100 but all of the people I chose as my top stars when I started my game (16 months in) have all capped out in the low to mid 70s.
Increase the Star Quality & Charisma of the worker.
But "a small handful of individuals" sounds like the right number of people

A woman in my Effganic save won a Championship 5 weeks in a row, while vacating the title immediately after every win.
The same woman has held a championship for 3 years with 0 defenses

Saw this happening to someone during their YT series, but I have no idea who it was >.>

I usually set people that died young/in the middle of their career back to be alive.
Though I don't do that for Benoit and similar cases

That's exactly what the freelancer setting is for
Nah. "Freelancer" in TEW doesn't actually simulate IRL freelancing.
It sets a random maximum contract length between 3 to 9 months and that's it.
Someone like Minoru Suzuki has wrestled everywhere and often for longer than 9 months, yet he's still freelancing IRL. You can't set that up in the game atm

Yeah. I keep running into the issue were stables should be more seen as "Essential". Companies like STARDOM will always have stables and only one or two workers will not be part of one. Sadly the game can never replicate that at the moment

Hello,
Quick question that I could probably test myself, but I thought I'd ask rather than take the risk it breaks the game or something: in a multiplayer save, can I trade Player 2 character for one show ?
Like, say Player 2 is playing as Triple H owning NXT, and I play as Shane owning WWE: since Player 2 is playing Triple H, does it mean I can never ever book Triple H for a match or an angle ever again, or can I still hire him for one night (and/or basically anything else than an exclusive written contract) ?
I know I can book myself into matches, but I'm unsure about another user character.
User Characters can never be hired/traded with another player

oh oof yeah gen names is a big one. There a lot of gens who get names that the separate components of are fine, but when combined together have the most awful mouthfeel known to man.
Or masked workers having a name like "Blue Scorpion" and then looking like a red cat
Especially weird when they're Mexican
-
Just don't book them for 90 days before releasing them
-
That's just the way irl TV works aswell. Leaked WWE scripts especially had things planned to the minute.
Though I think unexpected stuff like a (major) injury should forcefully extend the length of a match
-
Without naming specific people: I exclusively hire people in the C-/T-Verses based on their render. If it looks good, idc about the skills

How can I get the game to create new workers or doesn't it do that anymore? I know it has to somehow otherwise the effinverse mod wouldn't work.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Check if you have graduation turned on.</p><p> Then make sure to either have "Picture Requirements" Off or have enough free pictures available in the save & mod</p>

The hottest time in wrestling history in the United States saw them mostly hosting the biggest shows to crowds of less than 20k. A national promotion in TEW can pretty easily host PPVs to crowds of 50k plus every month. It's kind of silly.
ROH never ever came close to 20k. Their highest verified crowd was 3500, outside of the events co-promoted by New Japan. (Roughly around 16k for the G1 Supercard)
ROH isn't a national promotion either and I would argue that they're not even "Medium" in size. Doesn't seem too far fetched to say that with proper commercial work (and better production value) they could have atleast doubled the regular audience and - for their biggest cards - draw 10k people by themselves

Is it possible to release someone on a developmental deal without calling them up first? The normal release button doesn't show. Not a major issue but I just don't like how it adds the company to their job history that they technically never worked for.
Do it via the "Child Company" section, rather than the "Development" screen

You can kill workers in the editor during a ongoing save. So whenever you find a duplicate, just do that by changing their status to "Deceased".
Though that's non-reversable, so only do it with caution and if you're sure you're deleting the correct duplicate
-
In the Main Editor:
-Use the Search option of the Workers tab.
-Filter with "Works For" 'Nobody' OR (my preferernce) tick the option on the right side with "No Employment History"
-Then press "Toggle List" to 'Select All' and mass delete them
-
To be fair... Alot of the irl companies also had just really really bad management.
ROH's lack of growth is fully on them

2 question
1. Is it possible to have a manager manage more than 1 wrestlers in your promotion? And is it possible to have the manager manage them in the same show? As in 2 different wresters that appear on the same show on the same day?
2. I wanted to put a guy over in a match. After talking to the wrestler who agree to put my guy over, when booking the match, i still need to put who is the victor right in order for the agreement to be in effect? Is there a way to know if the agreement was carried out and was effective? Is it in the dirt sheet?
1. Ofcourse. I don't see how there could be a restriction on that or why it would be there.
2. Check the "Promises". After one wrestler agrees to put over someone else, it will appear there as a promise and will only disappear after they lost or the time fram ran out

I bet they have a great Stag-Steam division
SMW Renders etc
in Total Extreme Wrestling 2020 Mods

I really love the variety that you keep bringing with these every week. Love them^^
The newer renders aren't yet on the google drive thing as gifs, right?
