  1. Amen.

Selfishly, I wish he would have stuck around; however, in reality, pro wrestling has become somewhat of a launching pad for people to cross-over into mainstream entertainers (see: Hogan, the Rock, Austin (to an extent), Triple H (to a smaller extent), etc.).

That said, damn... It was great to see him back.

I just re-watched the video again and still had goosebumps; especially as his music first started and you could literally see the entire arena going into a tizzy!

I'm pissed I couldn't go.. as I had a feeling he was gonna be there. I know someone who went, and he said the place went insane.

  2. Watched the MCMG vs Gen Me match. Fun stuff. Shelley actually sold for a change so that was a big plus. Love the heel turn. I hear the Bucks are really fun heels in PWG, so hopefully that'll translate to TNA and lead to an extended program between them and the Guns.

I've not seen the PPV yet, but, I can confirm, ever since their heel turn last year, they've gotten exponentially better. They play the "we're the future" type of heel well...

It also helps that PWG isn't TNA, so they can do the "we're in the big time now" act. Which usually gets a ton of Xplosion chants. But, it's all good.

  3. Booked at clubs... to do what? That's something I don't understand.

Some clubs will book people to undercover promote, or, just be hot in a club (same idea why idiots pay for the Kardashians, Lohan, etc. Although they have much more name value.)

Ha well no I mean Paul London but if I keep winning your predictions game in your dynasty you might get up there as well :D

Here I thought you meant Jeremy London. Oh well. At least I still believe in him!

According to Dave Meltzer, the decision by WWE to release Serena was made several days ago and, for whatever reason, news of it just got out tonight.

Meltzer also says it was a "disciplinary firing" but no more details have been given out at this point.

Stay tuned for more on this breaking story.

Must have done something bad overseas

Did she get drunk again, and disrespect Gallows? Cause, that's a firin'

  5. I read the entire series before the movies came out. Haven't enjoyed the movies at all. The books were interesting and went very in-depth. And I've never even understood the Team Jacob vs Team Edward thing. If you've read all four books you know that it's a ridiculous discussion that shouldn't exist.

I think they just did that so all the ugly teenage girls could feel pretty for a second.

  6. Is it normal to have exactly one in all the "major" indy bookings?

But you guys are kinda right. It's a little old hat; I'm still actively seeking information about the Bryanson thing, but I think the points that are currently out there are discussed ad nauseum.

Exactly. I mean, I know that they share talent to an extent, but being booked on all of them in the space of a month? Seems funny.

I would go out on a limb, and say that he has one booking in each cause, well, they tend to only run one announced show at a time/per month.

Also, he's worked for them, or the people who book them, for years. So, I imagine it would be a matter of 5 phone calls over a course of a day to get that rolling.

I doubt that's really all that much of a stretch.

  7. Random question: Why is everyone so high on Percy Watson? Are we watching the same person? The goofy Dudley-Urkle amalgam glasses and a goofy look on his face constantly really equals charisma? I don't see it.

Kaval and Alex Riley had a pretty good one this week though. Glad they're letting Kaval be Low Ki.

LayCool really really took away from the match though. Their awful mic skills and complete lack of charisma really didn't lend well to being guest commentators.

So far I'm with you. The look on his face seems to be a cross between someone who just smelled a rotten fart, and something Eddie Murphy used to do on SNL 230 years ago.

  8. Yep just wanted to point that out that todays's PG is not yesteryears PG. Hogan bled in quite a few of his matches for instance and now that is an automatic stoppage. Also it seems that in some cases WWE goes above and beyond the necessities of PG while being hypocritical about it at the same time.

No blatant chokes or Benoit references right? Hmm crippler crossfaces by Michaels and HHH, ring rope choke by Christian any sleeper hold etc.

Not too violent outside the ring? Car! Door! Pipe! Hammer!

It's like they are on this weird type of split and just can't decide what to do.

BTW fully on Bot with the incessant replay's which is one of the main things that drove me away and all the legit/realistic characters in a pg environment. Ad to that the slow, overscripted same moves all the time matches. That is not psychology that is spotmonkey's who do not use highspots.

It doesn't make sense. But, think about America, in general.

TV News. They will constantly talk about rape, murder, suicide, bombings, every graphic violent thing.

Sex, on the other hand, is the worst thing to happen to the world since Adam took the apple into his mouth.

Nothing really makes sense, especially if it involves a censor/rating. And, of course money speaks louder than anything.

  9. 2. Cut down on the freakin' over-produced recaps! They're annoying as hell, and the time they waste on them could be used to talk about THIS show, not what happened last week. Obviously some re-capping is nice, but they go over the top with it. Strikes me as a lazy way to fill time so they don't have to do any real work.

Add to that the constant "moments ago/earlier tonight" recaps. I've watched Raw since the beginning, pretty much. Very rarely did I ever only watch the second hour, or, you know, miss any of the show. Who are these for? Potheads or something?

Apparently they announced ticket on sale info during a commercial.</p>
