  1. Is it normal for me to have several prelims matches and just 4-5 main fights? I usually go for 18-20 events per year and most of my fights are of prelim quality. What situation would you put a "prelim" level fight in the main card?
  2. Can I edit specific injuries to a fighter to shorten them? I had my biggest draw in Huang embroiled in scandal while my big Featherweight championship was cancelled when Jokichi, the champ, tore his quad and is out for a year. Shame since he was dominating the division with wins over Li-Kong Ho (twice) and Lamont Banner (ending his undefeated streak).
  3. <p>(Rd 1 - 05:00) The co-main event is up next. The fight was rated as being Great.</p>
  4. Can a kind soul teach me exactly how to copy this to my database? Much appreciated.

It just imports the new fighters into your database. It shouldn't affect or erase anything else.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> So I can just keep on importing as new packs come out with no consequences? That's pretty neat.</p>
  6. What will happen to changes I made in my save? Like names of teams or skills of fighters?
  7. Noob question as this is my first WMMA. These are characters, right? Can I add them to an existing save?
  8. <p>2 and 1/2 years into my save and I opened up a Bantamweight division. My final 4 were Togo, Rockmetteller (sp?), Bassett, and Waller. Bassett squeaked by Waller in a UD that I thought he should have lost. Rockmetteller knocked out Togo in the first round. Fortunately Rockmetteller beat out Bassett in the finals via clear-cut UD.</p><p> </p><p> I'm honestly thinking of cutting Bassett even though he was the runner-up because I absolutely hate his style of fighting. He's like the Jon Fitch of the Bantamweights where in he just imposes his wrestling may it be on the clinch or on the ground and never looks to finish. Thoughts on him in your saves?</p>
  9. What causes a company to open? I'm at mid-2004 already and still no new company is opening up.
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheProdigy" data-cite="TheProdigy" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44604" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Well that's mostly dependent on your era settings. There is a distribution of different skill levels among the regens and it's quite possible that one of the talents will develop into a star at a young age. That being said, it's probably more rare in the earlier years as the regens won't come out as well rounded as the cream of the crop right now. They'll need pedigree and potential.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Using the default database. Around what year do you anticipate an improvement of regens? Loving the game so far and am already looking forward to the future. Reached 2.5 years already while maintaning a 250 fighter roster without using fast advance.</p>
  11. Haven't played previous versions of WMMA and am only up to 2 years and a half in my save, how are the regens? Do they have the potential to be as good as the very best of the best at such a young age? I think of guys like Sukarno, Helio, Ivanov, Teneyev, Satinho, Manuel Silva, Atep as guys who are 30 years old or younger that are already among the elite most especially in terms of skills.
  12. Sorry not at home but can I edit it in the editor? Maybe I can just manually improve it and then decrease my funds accordingly.
  13. #87 Showcase Local Shows Special once-per-year large local shows called 'showcases' have been added; these feature only the best unsigned talent and, unlike regular local shows, have no geographic restrictions. They simulate wealthy backers holding one-off shows. This allows fighters to compete against people they wouldn't normally get to face and gives them another place to try and impress employers. This was in the Developer's Journal. Maybe I just missed out on seeing it but I don't know.

I just routinely check as I have cards booked in advance and usually I run cards every 3 weeks so a lot of people start coming back around the same time after about 6. So I usually check who's available for future cards before I run the card.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks. Hopefully there's a way to add this somehow because it's VERY useful.</p><p> </p><p> Another question. When do showcases occur? I'm already in Sept 2003 and haven't noticed it.</p>
  15. Is there a way to be notified if my fighters return from injury and are able to be booked already? I don't think the shortlist feature does the trick.
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TheProdigy" data-cite="TheProdigy" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44604" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Usually its a loss but it depends on how unknown they are. From my experience with GAMMA so far, fighters can still gain popularity after a loss up to around mid regional, but after that they usually need wins. I think this also depends on how big your company is too so you could probably get up to high regional if your company was high national, but I have yet to test this as I'm still approaching high national.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks as always. This is what I guessed as well.</p>
  17. Sorry if I'll ask this again but what causes a decrease in popularity? Losses do not necessarily contribute to a decrease, right?
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Dross" data-cite="Dross" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44604" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Decent is better :-)</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> How about great main event vs. strong main event?</p><p> </p><p> Great > Strong > Decent > Potential?</p>
  19. Honestly can't remember if this was in the handbook but what causes a decrease in popularity? Losses do not necessarily contribute to a decrease, right?

He may not be the best one out there but he is my biggest star with his National-Level popularity. My mistake was pitting him against someone who is also good (though he was still the favorite) and having him lose his first match with my company <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  21. <p>8 man tournament brackets where I want the traditional 8-man seeding should go like this right?</p><p> </p><p> 1 vs. 8</p><p> 4 vs. 5</p><p> 3 vs. 6</p><p> 2 vs. 7</p><p> </p><p> That way if there are no upsets, I can save the #1 vs #2 fight for the finals.</p>
