He says there is nobody on the face of the earth that the WWF can or will put in the ring with him that he will not defeat. He tells Steve Austin that what he did to Kane on Smackdown did not go unoticed.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Big Show d. K-Kwik</strong></p><p> Big Show looks larger than life in a dominating performance over K-Kwik.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dean Malenko vs Steven Richards ended in a no contest </strong></p><p> Val Venis interfered with the match and Right to Censor join in on the beatdown of Malenko in the center of the ring, when out of the back runs a new face. It's the Cheetah Kid! He runs to the ring and starts to attack Goodfather as Malenko goes at Venis. The 3 on 2 advantage gets the better of Malenko and Cheetah Kid and Right to Censor end up winning the brawl.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grand Master Sexay & Blackman d. Kaientai</strong></p><p> Good tag action. Kaientai attempted most of the dirty tricks in the book but Sexay and Blackman emerge victorious.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jericho Interview</strong></p><p> Jericho is in the ring with JR. JR tells Jericho he is excited for tonight's main event. Jericho says he's had his eyes on HHH. Jericho tells JR Y2J is ready to play the game.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Chris Jericho d. Triple H</strong> </p><p> Tonight's main event started as a brawl all over the ring and outside.   6. <p>WWF SMACKDOWN</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Mick Foley is Here!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Smackdown this week opens with a surprise guest after being fired from his role as commissioner by Mr. McMahon, Mick Foley is here and in the ring. He's thrilled to be right here in Birmingham, Alabama. Foley talks about his firing but before he can get into much detail, Kurt Angle's music hits and he enters the ring to interrupt Foley. Angle tells Foley he cannot be back in power here. Angle won't let it happen. Foley never announced why he was here. Foley says he is here strictly to see some friends backstage and to come address the fans. Angle says he will find out what is really going on. Angle claims he is alot smarter than Foley gives him credit for and if he finds out Foley is here on any sort of business, there will be hell to pay.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Pre-Match Interviews</strong></p><p> We get a pre match interview backstage with Triple H who is confident about his match with Billy Gunn. Billy Gunn responds in an interview that he knows HHH isn't who he used to be and that he's beatable.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Triple H d. Billy Gunn by Pinfall with a Pedigree</strong></p><p> A closer match than expected, HHH got the edge when Gunn badly missed the Fameasser, letting HHH get back on the offense and get the job done.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Matt Hardy d. TAKA Michinoku</strong></p><p> In our cruiserweight showcase match, Matt Hardy gets a win and celebrates in the ring to cheers from the fans.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Backstage</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> Cameras follow HHH backstage. He makes his way out to his car in the parking lot and is being followed by The Undertaker. He gets in the car and speeds out. Before he speeds away The Undertaker puts a boot into HHH's taillight and smashing it</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Val Venis d. D-Von Dudley[</strong>/B]</p><p> This match ended up being nothing spectacular but Val Venis gets the win.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Backstage</strong></p><p> Steve Austin is backstage with Terri. He talks about he and Triple H's victory on RAW this past Monday. He calls Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho two of the ugliest looking girls he has ever seen. He says Kane isn't ready for him tonight. </p><p> </p><p><strong> Backstage</strong></p><p> We see Ivory and Molly Holly coming down the hallways, their match is next.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Molly Holly d. Ivory </strong></p><p> Molly Holly gets a good bounceback win after her loss to Trish Stratus this past week on Heat. At the end of the match Terri comes on the titantron, challenging Molly Holly to a match next week on Smackdown.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kane is here!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> The arena goes dark. An impressive display of fire on the entrance ramp takes place, The lights turn to blood red and Kane makes his way to the ring. Tazz sees a bad moon rising for Austin tonight. The main event is next on Smackdown!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kane defeated Steve Austin via DQ</strong></p><p> A very hard fought and hard hitting brawl in our main event. As the match went on the two wore each other down with Kane ultimately having the edge over Austin. Austin eventually gets Kane with a hard chairshot to the head. Resulting in DQ. As Austin continues the beatdown Eddie Guerrero rushes out from the backstage! He sprints to the ring and begins to brawl with Austin. A fresh and fired up Guerrero gets the edge on Austin in the brawl, leading Austin to make his way to the entrance ramp. Smackdown ends with Guerrero standing in the ring strong with Kane recovering from his post match attack by Austin.</p>

The roster is underestimating him in his mind and he comes out and let the world know before his match</p><p> </p><p><strong> Edge d. Steve Blackman </strong></p><p> Decent match to kick off RAW. Blackman gets a bit of offense in but Edge dispatches Blackman with relative ease. Post match Edge continues a beatdown on Blackman until referees and security pull him off. Edge is looking like a madman.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Christian d. Spike Dudley </strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Christian had no problem getting the victory tonight as he makes easy work of Spike Dudley. Christian looks good in this matchup.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Undertaker Promo</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>We go backstage where The Undertaker is with Terri. He tells us he has a match next week lined up against a mystery signing. He is confident there is nobody who can be brought in that will be able to defeat Undertaker. He has his match next week on RAW.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grand Master Sexay d. Crash Holly</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>The Grand Master gets the victory tonight. His wrestling has been subpar lately and he has been met with alot of losses lately. Could this be the start of him getting his game back?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>HHH/Austin Backstage</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>We cut backstage where we see HHH and Austin getting ready for their match later tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chyna Promo</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Chyna is in the ring with Jim Ross before her match with Ivory. She tells Jim things are the same in the Women's Division and they will stay the same. With her on top and holding the title.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chyna d. Ivory</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Chyna squared off with Ivory in a relatively quick match, Chyna took her brutality to the next level in this match and put alot of punishment of Ivory.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Pre-Match Interviews</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Backstage we get seperate pre match interviews with the teams of HHH/Austin and Jericho/Guerrero to get the fans excited for the main event.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Two Man Power Trip d. Jericho & Guerrero</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>Guerrero was in with HHH to start and gained the upper hand early on. Many dirty tricks were exchanged as either side attempted to gain the edge needed to win. The Power Trip ended up with the victory this week. A good old school wrestling match was a great main event for this week.</p>

WWF Shotgun Saturday Night Saturday Week 2 June 1998 From Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey Attendance: 18,865 Shotgun Saturday Night opens with Droz vs Mark Canterbury Droz vs Mark Canterbury In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Mark Canterbury defeated Droz in 5:35 by pinfall with a Slop Drop. Rating: 48 Savio Vega is interviewed backstage before his match against Mosh. Rating:48 Mosh vs Savio Vega In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Mosh defeated Savio Vega in 9:38 by pinfall with a Mosh Pit. Rating: 58 Mosh is interviewed post-match. He says The Headbangers are ready to make a run at the Tag Titles. Rating: 52 WWF Intercontinental Championship Match The Rock © vs Bradshaw In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Rock defeated Bradshaw in 5:36 by submission. The Rock makes defence number 26 of his WWF Intercontinental title. Post-Match Bradshaw has a fit of anger backstage. Rating: 57 Triple H does a pre match promo on the Titantron. Rating: 93 Road Warrior Hawk is interviewed backstage and he says he has no doubt he will defeat Jeff Jarrett tonight. Rating: 57 Road Warrior Hawk vs Jeff Jarrett In a decent match, Road Warrior Hawk defeated Jeff Jarrett in 7:41 by pinfall with a Flying Lariat. Rating: 70 WWF European Championship Match Triple H © vs Marc Mero In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Triple H defeated Marc Mero in 5:28 by pinfall with a Pedigree. Triple H makes defence number 2 of his WWF European title. Rating: 75 Owen Hart is interviewed backstage. He says despite his loss on RAW he plans on coming for Triple H’s title. He says Shamrock will be a good tune-up match, He says Shamrock is not on his level. Rating: 86 Ken Shamrock vs Owen Hart In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, Ken Shamrock defeated Owen Hart in 14:19 by pinfall with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Rating: 78 Billy Gunn gives an interview before the main event. Rating: 82 Billy Gunn & The Undertaker vs Kane & Mankind In a superb match, Billy Gunn and The Undertaker defeated Kane and Mankind in 19:11 when The Undertaker defeated Mankind by pinfall with a Choke Slam. Scott Taylor vs D’Lo Brown In a poor match, D'Lo Brown defeated Scott Taylor in 10:13 by pinfall with a Low Down. D’Lo gets the win here after the referee went down and Taylor took a chairshot to the back from D’Lo, followed by a Low Down. After the match D’Lo continued the beatdown before Brian Christopher came to the aid of his tag team partner. Rating: 55 A hype video of Val Venis plays. Showing match highlights and video of him training backstage. Rating:49 Legion of Doom vs Marc Mero and Dustin Runnels In a decent match, LOD 2000 defeated Marc Mero and Dustin Runnels in 8:39 when Road Warrior Animal defeated Marc Mero by pinfall with a Doomsday Device. Rating: 76 After the match we catch up with LOD backstage. They say people should take notice to the roll they’ve been on both in tag and singles competition, they promise they are just going to get better and will be coming for the tag titles. Rating: 84 Triple H enters the ring accompanied by Chyna and Road Dogg. He promised to make an open challenge and defend his European Championship tonight on RAW. The members of DX wait in the ring for someone to answer the call. Owen Hart’s music hits and he makes his way out to the stage. Triple H looks ready. Their match next. Rating:84 WWF European Championship Match Triple H © vs Owen Hart In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Triple H defeated Owen Hart in 21:26 by pinfall with a Pedigree. Triple H makes defence number 1 of his WWF European title. A big win for HHH winning his open challenge and successfully defending his title. Rating: 81 The Rock cuts a pre-match promo before the main event. Rating: 75 Billy Gunn, Steve Austin & The Undertaker vs Kane, Mankind & The Rock In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Billy Gunn, Steve Austin and The Undertaker defeated Kane, Mankind and The Rock in 17:40 when Steve Austin defeated Kane by pinfall with a Stunner.
