I’m Michael Cole alongside former WWE, United States, Hardcore, European and Hardcore Champion, John “Bradshaw” Layfield! JBL: Thank you for the glowing introduction Michael, but no I won’t be nice this week! Cole: I don’t think you’ll have time to crack jokes, partner, this show is so packed! Not only do we have three tag team matches tonight, but in one of them- our main event- Bobby Lashley is yet to name his partner, when he faces John Cena and Batista. Ooh Chavo! The Cruiserweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Chavo: Stop booing me, I’m a Guerrero! Treat me with the respect you’d show my father Chavo Sr. *crowd boos*…my uncle Mando *no reaction*…my uncle Eddie! *crowd pops* So is that what I have to do to get respect around here?! Dedicate my matches to him? No, no, no! Because I LOVE you Eddie, so I’m going to add yet another legacy to the Guerrero name, aside from your own. So, Scotty. Yeah, I know you beat me last week, but this week…it’ll be different. I’ve got Gregory Helms, former champ, on my side. You’ve got a silly teenage cult-follower in CM Punk. I’m going to win, count on it esse! Rating: D+ The opening match is a non-title tag team contest between Deuce ‘n’ Domino and, making their Smackdown debut, The Highlanders! & vs. & The match was quick, thankfully. It wasn’t great at all, and the fans didn’t care. In the early goings, Rory and Robbie got some offence in. It mercifully ended when Deuce hit Robbie with a Crack in the Mouth. Winners at 3:44 Deuce ‘n’ Domino Rating: D+ Deuce picks up two mics, hands one to Domino and gets ready to speak. Deuce: All this yapping and jaw flapping, but the Hooligans still don't have no gold around their waists, do they? You say you want a rematch? That we ran from our match with you? That's far, far from the truth. Set 'em straight, Domino, tell ‘em how it REALLY is. How we see this on our side of the tracks. Domino: We didn't run from the ring. No, we walked away. We don't have to pin you guys, you have to pin us. You call it running; we call it outsmarting our opponents. Granted, outsmarting a couple of guys like you is like using facts against a republican: Too easy and gets ya nowhere. But granted, you fellas got one thing straight, and that is that you are still the top contenders to our throne. Did you think we were afraid of you or something? Not quite. So you want another shot at our big, beautiful title belts? Just show us the dotted line. Rating: D We cut backstage, where William Regal is with Vince McMahon. Vince: Now, as you may know, or you should’ve guessed by now, is that official General Manager Mr. Theodore Long is not here tonight. As the Chairman of the Board, I’m going to take his place tonight. So, Mr Regal, I believe you have something to ask me? Regal: Yes Vincent, I do. Now, the number one contenders match between those three scoundrels at the Royal Rumble solved nothing. I want you to name my contender, and by the Queen herself I hope it’s not that bloody freak Boogeyman, that drunken sod Finlay or that ****y young blighter Montel Vontavious Porter. So, out with it sunshine, who’re you going to name? Vince: Did you…just…call me…sunshine?! If you EVER call me sunshine again, Willie…YOU’RE FIIIIRED! Now, you want me to name a contender. No chance in hell. I’ll go one better…let me know by No Way Out, and YOU can choose you’re opponent. Regal: Why thank you, Mr McMahon. I think, because of this decision, the three lads deserve a consolation match, eh? MVP vs. Boogey vs. Finlay? Yeah…and don’t worry about my opponent, he shall be valiant and pure, and good enough to fight the prince himself! Vince: I’m sure he will…by the way Regal. You’re choice shouldn’t have to think too much about you’re choice. I mean, I said you get to choose your opponent, and you do! It’s either Montel Vontavious Porter…Finlay…or The Boogeyman! Who are all in action next in the Triple Threat match you yourself just made. Get scouting, champ. Rating: C The Triple Threat match is next. vs. vs. It was ok, the crowd were solidly behind Boogeyman, with Finlay as a close second. Boogey threw MVP out of the ring almost instantly, brawling with Finlay for the first two minutes. Finlay distracted the ref five minutes in, allowing MVP to slip back in and hit Boogey with a low blow, then roll him out of the ring. The two heels brawled for a few more minutes, with the final two minutes including all three competitors. After ten minutes of average, safe action, MVP hit the Playmaker on Boogey and picked up a big win. Winner at 10:17 Montel Vontavious Porter Rating: C Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring. JBL: Here we go, Michael! We’re about to find out his partner for tonight! Cole: That’s right partner! It’s WWE Champion John Cena and Batista going up against Lashley and the man who will be named in a moment’s time! Who will it be? Lashley: I’m going to keep this short and sweet, because my partner has something he wants to say. My partner is… Shawn Michaels! HBK Thank you, Mr Lashley. Now, Cena...things are getting out of hand! I mean, you attacked me on MY show on Monday. You beat Randy Orton, well done, but you managed to get yourself banned from interfering in my match later that night. Tonight, we're in the same ring and dammit, I'm gonna kick your ass. If you're not that down with that...well, that's just too bad Rating: C Scotty 2 Hotty and debuting CM Punk vs. Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms! & vs. & The match was quite poor, considering the quality of the wrestlers in the ring. It looked set to end 2 minutes in, when CM Punk hit Helms with a Go 2 Sleep. Guerrero quickly knocked Punk out of the ring though, dragged Helms into the corner and tagged himself in. However, Helms was then out for the rest of the match, leaving Helms for the dogs. He got hit with a Worm in the 5th minute, which gave Hotty and CM Punk the win. Winners at 5:48 Scotty 2 Hotty and CM Punk Rating: C- After the match, Helms and Punk have both gone backstage. Scotty 2 Hotty is celebrating for the fans. All of a sudden, Chavo comes in from behind with his championship, sending Hotty to the mat. He then slips out of the ring. JBL: What a statement to send! He’s just saying “I may have lost the match, but I’m gonna kick your ass in the war!” Cole: Well, I’m just happy he’s not going any further. But wait…no! Guerrero slides a table into the ring, and places Scotty on it. Cole: What!? He’s just leaving…no! JBL: He’s got a ladder Michael, and it’s set up in the ring… Cole: Frog Splash! Frog Splash off the ladder onto Scotty 2 Hotty, sending the former tag team champion through the damn table! What a despicable human being is Chavo Guerrero! Rating: C- Non-title: United States Champion William Regal vs. Kane vs. This match was quite decent, best part of the show so far. Regal used underhand tactics throughout, playing the part of a cowardly champion who can still mat wrestle. Regal dominated the early goings, with headlock takedowns and various submission moves. Kane managed to break a grounded Full Nelson attempt in the 5th minute to shift the momentum. He took the fight right to the champion, very nearly hitting the Chokeslam, but Regal poked him in the eye. In the 15th minute, Kane won by DQ when…Batista charged in and took him out with a chair, before running away through the crowd. Winner at 15:10 Kane Rating: B We cut backstage, where Brian Kendrick and Paul London are waiting with Kristal. Kristal: Welcome my guests, Brian Kendrick and Paul London. Guys, what is your reps- Kendrick: Shush, shush, shush! A-shush! Thank you. Abababa! Be quiet. Thaaank you Kristal. Right, you were going to ask is we’re ready for our rematch next week against… London: Deuce ‘n’ Domino. And, well, the fact of the matter is that… Kendrick: We… London: Most definitely… Kendrick and London: Are! Kendrick: They can call it smart or tactical, but we call it cheap and cowardly! They ran away, but we’ll make sure they can’t do that at next week! Rating: C+ Up next: Christian vs. Shannon Moore. vs. This would probably have worked better as a squash match. However, Moore did get some offence in towards the middle of the short match. Christian picked up the win nearly 6 minutes in with an Unprettier. Winner at 5:45 Christian Rating: C+ A music video is shown to promote The Undertaker. Rating: B+ Miiisteeeeeeer…Kennedy…Kennedy! Kennedy: Let’s have a recap. First Smackdown of the year, I defeated The Undertaker in his last match on Smackdown! I then lose the following week thanks to Deuce ‘n’ Domino, not my fault. The following week myself, Batista and Christian defeated Funaki, Kane and Hulk freaking Hogan! Then for some reason I’m not wrestling on the next Smackdown. Royal Rumble- I was in the final four! I was preoccupied throwing Edge out of the ring, so I turn straight into a cheap shot, knocking me out. I was THIS CLOSE to being in the main event of Wrestlemania. So, last week, I beat Paul London easily. This week…I’m not wrestling?! What’s the deal? I mean, I’d hope that Teddy has a match planned for me at No Way Out or it looks like, on the first Raw following No Way Out, JR will be saying “Bah Gawd, Kang! It’s Mr Ken-ah-day! He’s jumped ship to Raw!” Make sure it doesn’t happen, Teddy. Rating: B+ It’s the main event! John Cena and Batista vs. Bobby Lashley and Raw’s Shawn Michaels! & vs. & The match was quite poor, although no-one can figure out why! There was no bad chemistry and all the workers are over and, apparently, on form. Either way, it ended nearly 20 minutes in when Cena made HBK tap to the STFU. Winners at 19:45 WWE Champion John Cena and Batista Rating: C+ Cole: Well, Cena and Batista win the match. Batista’s gone backstage, leaving our WWE Champion to celebrate. But what the hell! Lashley and HBK getting a measure of revenge! JBL: Damn it! Michaels has no business on this show, and Bobby should learn to respect his superiors! And…oh no…HBK is tuning up the God damn band! Cole: Sweet Chin Music! Cena staggers…SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! Cena was kicked straight into a spear by Lashley. The fans are cheering at the revenge being gathered by HBK and Lashley! Oh no! Kennedy hits the ring with a steel chair, taking out Shawn Michaels and Bobby Lashley! He’s got a mic! Kennedy: Let me know by next week, Teddy! Rating: B+ Overall: C+

Raw Preview: Firstly, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will name Carlito's opponent for No Way Out! Carlito challenged Duggan 2 weeks ago, but Hacksaw refused, instead saying that he has someone who will fight Carlito. Who will it be? As well as finding out his opponent for NWO, Carlito is in action this Monday as he goes one-on-one with Val Venis, who will be accompanied by his new manager, the lovely Candice Michelle. After Armando Alejandro Estrada told Mick Foley that he was Umaga's next target, the match was made. Hardcore Rules: Umaga vs....Cactus Jack! Shane McMahon said last week that Chris Jericho will get an Intercontinental Title match...if he first beats The Great Khali. Can Y2J overcome yet another obstacle to earn himself a shot at McMahon's championship? Eric Bischoff has made a big match for the semi-main event this week: Shawn Michaels goes one-on-one with Edge! After defeating The Great Khali last week, World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker returns to the main event this week. His opponent is Randy Orton, who was forced into this match by GM Eric Bischoff after he failed to beat John Cena for the WWE Title last week. Orton and Taker have a history together, as recent as the Royal Rumble when Taker defeated him in a casket match. Orton vowed never to face Undertaker again, but he's forced to this week. How will it end?

Pre-show: Cade and Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme The match was just there to give the two teams something to do without eating up TV team. It was an even contest, ending when Murdoch pinned JTG after a Sweet and Sour. I’m good old JR, Jim Ross, with Jerry “The King” Lawler at ringside, thank you for joining us live! Lawler: It should be a huge Raw tonight JR, we’ve got so many matches and, well, it’s Raw! I’ve got a major announcement to make. It looks like the WWE Champion John Cena *crowd boos*…and the Royal Rumble winner, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels *huge pop*…can’t keep their hands off each other. Every show it’s either Cena attacking Shawn, and vice versa. Well, it’s time to put up or shut up. One other thing I’ve noticed is…neither of you two men has a match for No Way Out! Well, you do now. It’s WWE Champion John Cena one-on-one with Shawn Michaels. The winner…will get to choose the type of match for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship match at Wrestlemania 23! Rhodes: Mr. Orton…you will be facing my son…the New American Dream…Dustin Rhodes. He’s not here this week, but that’s ok because you’re just losing to Val Venis this week! The two stars got in even amounts of offence. Dusty spent most of the match hyping up his son Dustin. Suddenly, about 5 minutes in, Carlito was building momentum after “accidentally” knocking the ref down. Just as he was about to swing at Venis with a steel chair... Dustin Rhodes made his debut, running down to save Val. He dropkicked the chair into Carlito’s face, and then set him up in the corner, with his legs spread, each on the 2nd rope. He then charged and kicked Carlito in the balls, before quickly leaving the ring. Val capitalised, locking in the Venis Fly Trap, which forced the Puerto Rican star to tap out. Styles has gradually been permitted to add more high-flying moves to this arsenal, so the crowd at least saw a few things not often present on Monday Nights. It ended when Eugene was pinned following The World’s Greatest Double Team. I’ll admit it…I’m scared. I mean, let’s see. Before the Royal Rumble, you defeated Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair! At the Rumble you defeated Chris Jericho, Y2J, and again the next night. I know you lost last week, but hey! I’m sure you still had a nice day! Umaga laying into Foley. But wow! Foley’s sat up…and he’s laughing! He’s ripping his shirt off… it’s Cactus Jack! He turned up! Foley’s changed into the sadistic Cactus Jack, and now Umaga will have a real Hardcore Match! Rating: B+ Umaga vs. Cactus Jack: Hardcore Rules! vs. The match wasn’t really given enough time, but it was still a great, brutal match. Jack hit Umaga with everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink, when he planted Umaga onto it with a piledriver! Umaga eventually picked up the win when he hit Cactus Jack with a Samoan Spike, which was wrapped in barbed wire! Winner at 6:40 Umaga Rating: B+ The ring is cleared and Eric Bischoff, Raw GM, makes his way to the ring. Bischoff: Undertaker! It’s no secret that I just don’t like you. Right, now that that’s out of the way, down to business; tonight you’re set to face Randy Orton in the main event. Well, I’ve changed my mind, which I can do because I’m Eric Bischoff. You still have the chance to face him…if you win you’re next match. If you win the match…you keep your job and title. If your opponent wins…the title is vacated, you’re fired and he’s the number one contender. Your opponent…Johnny Nitro! Rating: B Career and Title vs. Number 1 Contender Spot (C) vs. The match was extremely even and brilliantly executed. Just as it looked like Taker was going to lose, he’d kick out and go on the offensive, only to get knocked back down again. Part way through... Edge and Orton ran out. Edge distracted the ref, while Orton hit the RKO on Taker. Then, in full view of the referee, Edge hit a Spear, costing Nitro the match by DQ. Winner at 7:29 The Undertaker Rating: A The ref rings the bell almost instantly, leading us into the next match. vs. After lasting nearly 8 minutes with Nitro, The Undertaker managed to put up a valiant fight against the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history. Eventually, he hit the Tombstone for a massive win, ending a great match. Winner at 9:49 The Undertaker Rating: A After the match, Randy struggles to his feet and grabs a microphone. Orton: That was lucky, Taker. No-one can beat me through pure skill, no-one on the Raw roster! Hell, no-one from Smackdown or ECW either! So how about this…at No Way Out, it’s the Randy Orton Invitational. Anybody who isn’t on one of WWE’s flagship shows can accept this open challenge to face me. I will come out next week, expecting an opponent. Rating: B+ We cut backstage, where Intercontinental Champion Shane McMahon is talking to his father Vince McMahon. Shane: Ok Dad, you’re in charge tonight. I need to ask a favour. Chris Jericho is facing The Great Khali next, and if he wins he gets a shot at my title. Vince: Yes… Shane: …so I was wondering…can you make me the special guest referee for that match? Vince: Shane! That’s cheap! That’s dishonest! That’s terrible! I love it! Rating: C Chris Jericho vs. The Great Khali: Shane McMahon as Special Guest Referee! In the end, Jericho made Khali tap. When McMahon refused to ring the bell, Y2J went to attack him, prompting Shane to quickly ring the bell in Jericho’s favour. Winner at 13:34 Chris Jericho Rating: B Shane: You won, ok. You get a shot at this title…if you beat Kenny Dykstra next week! That’s all I ask, Chris. I’m just ensuring that you’re a fitting challenger for this title, honestly. Good look next week. Rating Main Event: Shawn Michaels vs. Edge vs. The match was a brilliant end to a solid Raw. The two had a technical-based opening few minutes, before it slowly turned into an all-out brawl, all fists, for the final minute. Out of nowhere, HBK hit the Sweet Chin Music and covered the Rated R Superstar, picking up the win. Winner at 13:08 Shawn Michaels Rating: A Overall: B

I’m Joey Styles alongside ECW Original, the Human Suplex Machine, Tazz! Tazz: That’s right Joey, and here comes the Messiah, if you will, of Extreme Championship Wrestling! It’s the Father of ECW, Paul Heyman! As happens every time Paul E. makes an appearance, the fans are on their feet chanting “Thank you Paul E.” and “E-C-Dub!”, as they bow to show their appreciation. He gets into the ring and bows to all four sides, before speaking into the mic. Heyman: Are you ready? No, I said “are you ready!” Well, you better not be ready for either of the two old men who ate up TV time with that crap all last year, because this is Extreme Championship Wrestling! Now, last week we saw two big matches. Rob Van Dam beat Marcus Cor Von…and Tajiri defeated Stevie Richards. Tonight the Number One Contender tournament continues. Not only will you see a No DQ match between ECW Original Tommy Dreamer and Kevin Thorn…but you will see, in our main event, the Man of 1,000 Holds, Dean Malenko, in a No DQ match…with the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal Sabu! Enjoy the show, this is ECW! Rating: B Abyss and Mike Knox vs. Balls Mahoney and The Sandman & vs. & The match was ok, but the fans didn’t care that much. Balls and Sandman surprisingly dominated the early goings, but the two monsters fought back. Abyss hit a massive Chokeslam on Balls Mahoney in the 7th minute, then pinned him for the win. Winner at 7:02 Abyss and Mike Knox Rating: C- The match ends, and Sandman begins swinging with his Singapore Cane! Balls gets to his feet, grabs a chair and the two originals beat on Abyss and Knox, attacking them all the way backstage. To the shock of everyone, part way through the match, Thorn slipped under the ring. He came back out moments later and appeared as… Mordecai, albeit with black hair. He hit a Crucifixion on Dreamer, and picked up the win! Mordecai advances to the next round! Winner at 8:05 Mordecai (Kevin Thorn) (who advances to the next round of the N1C tournament) Rating: C Styles: Holy ****! Kevin Thorn just defeated Tommy Dreamer! The ECW Original is out of the tournament! Tazz: What do you mean “Kevin Thorn?” It’s Mordecai! I remember him from my Smackdown days. Eventually Sasaki picked up the win, pinning K-Low with a Northern Light Bomb! Winner at 6:51 Kensuke Sasaki Rating: C A video plays to hype the UWC match at Wrestlemania 23, between World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker, WWE Champion John Cena and Royal Rumble Winner Shawn Michaels. The action was back and forth, with a huge contrast in styles. Sabu used weapons as his offence, whilst Malenko utilised various holds and takedowns to even the odds. The weapons won in the end, when Sabu hit the Arabian Facebuster for the win. Winner at 9:49 Sabu (who progresses to the next round) Rating: C FINAL: C (May have hurt our popularity) Ok, Smackdown! preview should be up soon. Comments, criticisms etc?

Hey, glad you like it. I know it seems far-fetched, but I was a big fan of him originally, and would love to seem him back. As a note to everybody, I've not been on here for a week (been in Lourdes helping out, getting drunk, celebrating my birthday), so no this isn't dead. I'll be on my laptop later, when I can book the next show. I won't be up for a couple of days, because I'm running on virtually no sleep.

Pre-show: The Undertaker vs. Josh Abercrombie The match was short and sweet, just a squash match to fill some pre-show time. Undertaker dominated for nearly 2 minutes before mercifully putting Abercrombie away with a Tombstone. Winner at 1:52 The Undertaker Rating: C+ Just before we go on the air, the crowd is reminded of Vince McMahon’s announcement on Raw, which said that at No Way Out it will be WWE Champion John Cena going one-on-one with the Royal Rumble Winner Shawn Michaels. The winner gets to choose the match type between HBK, Cena and World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 23, in their match for the WWE Ultimate Wrestling Championship! I’m Michael Cole with John “Bradshaw” Layfield at ringside, hey John! JBL: Don’t treat me as an equal, Michael. Let’s just get the show started, with Jamie Noble in action! Cole: Well, it should be a good match, who’s he facing? DONG! Cole: Oh my! The Undertaker, a Raw superstar and the World Heavyweight Champion, has been chosen to face Jamie Noble to kick off Smackdown! The match begins! vs. It was surprisingly not a squash match, although it was clear throughout who the major competitor was. Four and a half minutes in the inevitable occurred, when Taker pinned Noble following a Tombstone. Winner at 4:32 The Undertaker Rating: C+ Gregory Helms vs. Kevin Steen vs. The pair doesn’t really click, so the bout was awkward and messy. Helms largely dominated the match after the first 30 seconds. He picked up his first win of the year in convincing fashion with a Nightmare on Helms Street. Winner at 2:05 Gregory Helms Rating: D+ Cole: Well Helms just defeated the larger Kevin Steen, who was making his debut. Up next is a huge match, as the WWE Tag Champions Deuce ‘n’ Domino take on London and Kendrick. At the Rumble they walked out on the match, but tonight is London and Kendrick’s last chance to get a fair fight out of the scheming champs. Here we go! No DQ or Count Outs: WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Deuce ‘n’ Domino vs. Paul London and Brian Kendrick & (C) vs. & The match was evenly matched, with London nearly pinning Domino 2 minutes in with a Standing SSP. The ending came when London was stood on the top rope, in his own corner, set to hit a 450 Splash on Deuce. Suddenly, Domino charged and hit him with a high big boot, knocking him onto Kendrick, sending them both out of the ring. The ref said it was a tag, making Kendrick the legal man. With his partner unconscious and he himself hurt from the fall, Kendrick was picked apart by the champs. They pinned him in the 5th minute after Deuce held a steel chair in front of his face, which Domino kicked into his nose. Winners at 5:38 Deuce ‘n’ Domino Rating: C No Chance! JBL: Here comes everybody’s favourite billionaire, the incredible Mr Vincent Kennedy McMahon! Cole: Well folks, if you’ve been on WWE.COM this week you’ll know that McMahon is here to announce a big Smackdown match for next Sunday’s No Way Out pay-per-view. Vince: Ok, I could come out here and tell you all about how I built this company and how I rule the professional wrestling- the sports entertainment- business. I’m not going to do that, your paying for the tickets tonight is testament to that. What I am here to do is announce a championship match at No Way Out. At the Royal Rumble, Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero defended his title against Scotty 2 Hotty. He won the match in a very unceremonious manner, distracted his opponent and pinned him with a handful of tights. I’ve noticed that, since the Rumble, Guerrero has lost to Scotty 2 Hotty twice in tag team matches. Well, I think that Scotty 2 Hotty deserves a rematch. At No Way Out it is Chavo Guerrero vs. Scotty 2 Hotty for the WWE Cruiserweight Title! Rating: C- Cole: Well up next is a huge match which will surely factor in William Regal’s choice of opponent at No Way Out. It’s Montel Vontavious Porter against The Boogeyman! Montel Vontavious Porter vs. The Boogeyman vs. The match was quite good, as the two have pretty good chemistry. Boogeyman started to tire towards the end, but they finished the match when he hit the Goodnight on MVP. Winner at 11:13 The Boogeyman Rating: C+ Cole: Oh my! Here comes the Big Red Machine Kane, who has a tag match later tonight against John Cena and William Regal! JBL: Michael, I think we’re about to find out his partner for that match! Cole: I know partner, who’s it gonna be?! JBL: How the hell should I know? And don’t call me partner! Kane: Tonight I face John Cena and William Regal, in a tag team contest. Neither of you will walk out in one piece, as my partner and I will physically dissect you and tear you limb…from limb. Cena and Regal, WWE and US champions…you’re no match for me…and my partner… CM Punk heads to the ring! Punk: Regal, you try and promote good morals, and then team up with a thug like John Cena. A man who promotes promiscuous sex, adultery and alcohol. Not a good example to set for the children of America! So tonight, you lose to Kane and the Straight Edge Superstar, CM Punk! Rating B+ Christian vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. This match not only went on surprisingly long, it was also even and not bad. Wang Yang dominated the early goings with quick kicks and flips, but Christian gained the upper-hand half way through with a thumb to the eyes. Eventually, after a few minutes of quick exchanges, Wang Yang was facing towards the crowd on the turnbuckle. Christian crotched him and climbed up, so that they were back to back. He then hit a brutal top-rope Unprettier for the win! Winner at 10:23 Christian Rating: C+ Christian: Ok, so far I do not have a proper match for No Way Out! Unless something more important comes up, I’m challenging Bobby Lashley to a rematch, just to kick your ass again! You’ve got nothing planned, no big matches, so why not?! Lashley comes to the ring with his new manager, the returning Ashley! Ashley: You want to face Bobby Lashley again? My man Bobby Lashley…pur-lease! Lashley could easily kick your ass in a rematch, any type of match! Christian: Ok, thanks for that Trashley. Now, Bobby, I’m talking to you. Apparently you’ll take me on in ANY type of match. So, unless things change, me and you, one-on…..two. Christian vs. Bobby Lashley…and Ashley! Bobby looks ready to refuse the match, shaking his head, but Ashley grabs the mic again! Ashley: You’re on! Christian: Ok, good. Now, I’ve decided on my match for tonight. What I mean is, I get to book one match for tonight, don’t ask why. It’s going to be Ken Kennedy…versus…Batista…versus…Bobby Lashley! Enjoy! Rating: B Ken Kennedy vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Batista vs. vs. The impromptu match was quite good. Ashley wasn’t great at ringside, and the pair doesn’t seem to click very well as manager and client. Batista got a lot of offence in, but was taken out by Lashley in the 8th minute. Kennedy hit a low blow on Lashley when the ref’s back was turned. Minutes later he hit a Green Bay Plunge on Bobby, picking up the win. Winner at 11:47 Ken Kennedy Rating: B- Kennedy is stood in the ring after the match. Kennedy: And the winner of the match…Miiiisteeeeeeer Ken-a-dy…………..Kennedy! I just won my match, but on Monday I’ll be on Raw if Theodore Long doesn’t come out here and give me my match for No Way Out! I’m here, and I’ll give you your opponent. He’s already appeared tonight, and has a match later on. Ken Kennedy, at No Way Out, you will take on…CM Punk! Ya feel me?! Long goes back through the curtains, as Kennedy looks angry at the decision. Batista charges in and attacks CM Punk, bombarding him with punches. Anyway, Shawn, Undertaker; I know you’re both watching closely. At No Way Out next Sunday, Jonathan Cena will defeat Shawn Michaels in a valiant effort and earn the right to select the match type for your bout at Wrestlemania 23. Then, he will go to Mania and become the first EVER WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion! The two best, most upstanding gentlemen will be champions, myself and Mr Cena. Sunshines- I hope you’re ready! Rating: B+ Cole: I’m sure they will be, I’ve never seen Michaels or Taker back down from a fight! He’s bandaged up from the attack from Batista a few minutes ago. The match begins. In the early goings, Cena and Kane traded punches and just brawled for a couple of minutes, before they tagged in Regal and Punk respectively. The two put on a great technical showing, proving that chain wrestling is alive and well. Regal exploited the back, and tagged in Cena, who hit a powerful backbreaker. Punk managed to get the hot tag to Kane 9 minutes in, who cleaned house. A minute or so later, Cena hit the FU and went for the cover, but was close enough to the corner that Punk was able to tag himself in. The back was immediately worked on. Cena hoisted CM Punk into a back-suplex position, before driving him neck-first into the turnbuckle. Regal was then tagged in, and finished the Straight Edge Superstar with a Regal Cutter. Winners at 15:37 John Cena and William Regal Rating: B- Overall: B- OOC: Any comments/feedback etc? I've got the next 4 shows done completely (well, 3 and half of NWO), may get Raw up before the end of tonight, if I get any predictions in.

RAW PREVIEW On the next Raw: Dustin Rhodes vs. Matt Hardy vs. Edge- Rhodes hopes to get his first win in the WWE, heading into his match against Carlito at No Way Out. Hardy and Edge have a storied history together, however, so how will that effect the outcome? Jeff Hardy and Val Venis vs. Charlie Haas and Carlito- with Matt in the opening match and Haas' partner Shelton Benjamin in a match later on in the show, both Jeff and Shelton were without partner's to prepare for their tag match at NWO. GM Eric Bischoff has paired them with Val Venis and Carlito respectively, and the match should be great! Randy Orton vs. Perry Saturn- Orton will find out this week who is NWO opponent is. The only limitation on who can accept the Randy Orton Open is that they must not currently be on a WWE brand. One man who could have faced him next Sunday is this week's opponent Perry Saturn. Will the former Radical be too tough for the Legend Killer? Tune in to find out! World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker vs. Shelton Benjamin (non-title)- someone must have a hatred of Benjamin, because he will definately struggle to beat the champion this week on Raw! The winner will face Randy Orton's opponent at NWO, who will be revealed between the two matches. EITHER World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker OR Shelton Benjamin vs. the competitor in this Sunday's Randy Orton Open! Royal Rumble Winner Shawn Michaels and ??? vs. WWE Champion John Cena and ???- each man will get to choose his partner. This will be the last chance Cena and HBK have to work each other out before their huge match at NWO. QUICK PREDICTIONS: Dustin Rhodes vs. Matt Hardy vs. Edge Jeff Hardy and Val Venis vs. Charlie Haas and Carlito Randy Orton vs. Perry Saturn The Undertaker vs. Shelton Benjamin The Undertaker OR Shelton Benjamin (winner of last match) vs. ??? (Orton's opponent at No Way Out- has not appeared on WWE programming full-time since 2003.) Any comments on Smackdown and predictions for Raw? It'll be posted tomorrow, I'm going offline now until then.

WWE has made the decision to release the following from their contracts, and wished them the best in all future endevours. The reasons for each has been revealed: Vickie Guerrero (Creative had nothing for her, and Eddie's widow was becoming discontent, not appearing on shows) Trinity (See above) Jonathan Coachman (There were already more than ample announcers, and Coachman was just surplus to requirements) Steve Lombardi (With the influx of Indy Talent brought in, a jobber wasn't really needed. Jim Duggan can be used for special occasions, so Lombardi, after a long tenture under contract, has been released) Roddy Piper (Again, creative had no plans to use Hot Rod, and thought it fairer to release him and allow him to look for work elsewhere. With the return of WCW, maybe they will snap him up)

I’m Jim Ross, with my partner Jerry “The King” Lawler at ringside! We’ve been told by management that the opening of this show will be a short video documenting the domination of Umaga the past month and 3 weeks. Have a look. A music video is shown to promote Umaga and his wins over such stars as Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels. JR: Can anybody stop Umaga, King?! Rating: B+ Lawler: I doubt it! Anyway, we’re going to head straight into our first match, as Jeff Hardy teams with Val Venis to take on Charlie Haas and Carlito! The match gets underway. The two teams traded offence for much of the match, until Venis hit a Money Shot on Haas, picking up the win. Winners at 6:53 Jeff Hardy and Val Venis Rating: B- We cut backstage, where Todd Grisham is waiting with a mic. Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Randy Orton. Randy, can I get your thoughts on not only your match tonight with the returning Perry Saturn, but also on the fact that you will find out tonight who your opponent is at No Way Out? Orton: Ok, first point- I will beat Saturn tonight! I’ve been given permission to choose the match type, and we’re going to go one-on-one in a First Blood match, tonight on Monday Night Raw! The Legend Killer against Perry Saturn! I’m going to add another to my list of legends. Now, on to No Way Out! It doesn’t matter what jackass or jabroni accepts my challenged, I’ll defeat them! Apparently people have heard rumblings… “he’s not appeared full-time for 3 years!” Oh well! I’m still gonna kick their ass! It could be…The Rock! Yeah right, he’s still making movies! It could be Billy Gunn…hell knows what he’s doing right now, probably working for next to nothing in a job that has no big prospects! Oh, I know…maybe it’s Brock Lesnar! Not likely, he’s just not doing a lot. It could be Kevin Nash, Raven, Rhino, D’Lo Brown…heck it could even be Nidia! What- no-one remembers her? Not surprised. Point is, lots of people fit the wide-ranging criteria- it could be any of more than 20 men! And my own criteria left it even more open- all that matters is that they are not currently under contract to Raw, Smackdown or ECW! I’m going to beat Saturn tonight…then at No Way Out…it doesn’t matter who I face…I’m going to beat them. Rating: Dustin Rhodes vs. Matt Hardy vs. Edge vs. vs. The match wasn’t that great, but good enough. It was a surprise for the fans to see Edge in the second match of the card, but it allowed Dustin Rhodes to appear stronger by fighting someone higher up the card. Hardy got in the most offence, but didn’t really dominate. It ended 6 minutes in, when Rhodes was on the ground holding his knee. With the ref distracted checking on him, Edge hit Hardy with a steel chair, before spearing Rhodes and then pinning Matt. Winner at 6:41 Edge Rating: C+ JR: Well, Edge just cheated to beat the “New American Dream” Dustin Rhodes and Matt Hardy. But now, Y2J- the legend- Chris Jericho gets another shot. If he can overcome yet another obstacle and beat Kenny Dykstra, he gets a title match with Shane McMahon. Lawler: And I’m sure Shane-o will give it to him! He’s a good champion JR! JR: Like hell he is! Jericho has earned hit shot more than enough times, and Shane just doesn’t want to face him. Well, Dykstra’s in the ring, and here comes Jericho! Jericho gets to the top of the ramp, but Samoa Seanoa just charges from behind the curtains and attacks from behind! JR: Good God! Samoan Seanoa- a member of Shane McMahon’s Corporation- has just blindsided Chris Jericho. He’s laying into him with right hands as he drags him to the ring. Oh my! Jericho’s head just bounced of the steel steps, and now he’s been rolled into the ring, the match will get underway. After being on the defence for 5 minutes, he hit an Enziguri out of nowhere and began to build momentum. Several arm drags sent Dykstra down, but in the 8th minute Kenny took control again with a chinlock. Jericho broke the hold, and in the 10th minute Dykstra was on the ropes, facing the crowd. Y2J slipped behind him and rolled him up, goings seamlessly into the Walls of Jericho, leading to Dykstra submitting moments later! The match was decent, although they don’t really click Winner at 10:53 Chris Jericho Rating: B- Shane: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Ok Chris, congratulations- you have a match at Wrestlemania 23, against me, for this Intercontinental Championship. Now, the thing is, I’m a fighting champion…no I am, honestly. And because your match is at Wrestlemania, I would consider it unfair of me to make any defences until that point. That saddens me, Chris. So, because you’ve taken away the joy of defending my title until that point, I’m going to punish you. Mr Jericho, Y2J, Lionheart, The Living Legend, King of the World, The Man of 1,004 Holds, The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla…Chris. Every week from now until Wrestlemania you’re going to be in increasingly tough matches. It begins at No Way Out this Sunday. Now, my choice of opponent foolishly got his own match for the pay-per-view, but I come first. So, I apologise but Christian will not be facing Bobby Lashley this Sunday. You’re the Smackdown representative of the Corporation and you’re needed for duty. It will be you, Chris Jericho, against Christian in…a Tables…Ladders…and Chairs match! Boo-ya! It was fairly even, and in the opening minutes actually featured some domination from Saturn. Orton took control in the 4th minute when he laid out Saturn with a steel chair. They brawled for several minutes all over the arena, moving from ringside, up the entrance way and eventually into the crowd. The match came to a close when Orton hit the RKO onto a rail going up the stairs, busting Saturn open and possibly breaking his nose. Maria: Please welcome my guest at this time, the man who at Wrestlemania 23 will face The Undertaker and John Cena to crown the first ever WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion…Shawn Michaels. Shawn, how did it feel to win the Royal Rumble? HBK: What an odd question…obviously it felt fantastic, but not as great as it will feel when I pin Cena or Taker- one of the two current World Champions- and put myself in the history books…yet again! Maria: I didn’t know there was a history book for Sports Entertainment…do you think I’d be in it?! HBK: ………oh of course! Anyway, moving on. This Sunday, at No Way Out, I take on WWE Champion, the Doctor of Thuganomics, Mr John Cena. The winner gets to choose the type of match in said triple threat match at Wrestlemania 23. Well, I promise you that I will kick Mr Cena’s teeth into the roof of his mouth and pin him for the 1-2-3, and in doing so earn the right to win the Ultimate Wrestling Championship in the manner I see fit. Rating: A JR: Well this next match will decide one half of our main event! Whoever wins this contest will face Randy Orton’s opponent at No Way Out, who will be revealed immediately after this match. Non-title: World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. The match was short but sweet. Although it deserved a lot longer, and creative should definitely look into giving these two a rematch at a future PPV, it was good enough. Shelton got some brief offence in initially, but was over-powered and pinned nearly 3 minutes in, following a Chokeslam. Winner at 2:47 The Undertaker Rating: B JR: Well folks, we’re about to find out who will face Randy Orton at No Way Out! Lawler: I can’t wait to see who accepts the Randy Orton Open! There’s so many possibilities, I just can’t wait. Heck, I’m sure we’re in for a tremen- IF YA SMEEEELL…WHAT THE ROCK…IS…COOKING! JR: Oh my God! The Rock has returned to Monday Night Raw! But…God dammit! It’s Randy Orton- it’s Orton playing with peoples’ emotions! I thought that The Rock was back! Well, Randy’s in the ring now, and he’s got a mic. Orton: You sad, pathetic losers! You really thought it was going to be The Rock? Not a chance. Let me promise you, however, that it will still be a worthy challenger, I’m sure. So come on, who’s accepted the Randy Orton Open? Come on! Reveal yourself to the world as the bravest man alive! Step up and take the opportunity…dammit get the hell- IF YA SMEEEELL…WHAT THE ROCK…IS…COOKING! JR: My God! It really is The Rock! The Great One is back! The Rock makes his way to the ring to an incredible pop, the fans are going insane. He gets to the end of the ramp, looks to the crowd, does the People’s Eyebrow, and turns to face Orton. He gets into the ring and grabs the mic off him. The Rock: Finally…THE ROCK…has come back…to Monday Night Raw! Last week The Rock switches on his television set and makes the decision to watch Monday Night Raw. So The Rock tunes into the USA Network, grabs a beer and gets ready to enjoy the show. It’s been on a while, so the first thing The Rock sees is…you, running your mouth and laying down an open challenge. The Rock immediately recognises you, and remembers facing you at Wrestlemania XX, when it was Evolution against the Rock and Sock Connection. Well, The Rock thought to himself…what the hell was that skinny son-of-a-bitches name! So, jabroni…The Rock has to ask…what is your name? Orton: I’m the Legend Killer, Randy Or- The Rock: It doesn’t matter what your name is! The Rock knows who you are. Earlier, you mentioned something about a list of legends, and that you want to add the Great One to it. Well, The Rock says this- how are your lips? Because at No Way Out they’re gonna be slapped right off your face! I’m the jabroni-beating…pie-eating…trail-blazing, eyebrow-raising, the guy who’ll make a movie, sure to be first class, come back to Raw and KICK YOUR CANDY ASS! IF YA SMEEEEEEEELL…WHAT THE ROCK…IS…cooking. The Rock says that felt damn good. Last time The Rock checked, he was a free agent, and so he passes your criteria- The Rock is not under contract with ECW…no, The Rock does not perform exclusively on Monday Night Raw…The Rock is not even back on The Rock’s show, Smackdown! The Rock will return, but even The Rock doesn’t know where he’s going just yet. But one thing is for certain- on Sunday you will…go ONE ON ONE…with the Great One! Now Orton, take your promises of victory…lube them up real good…then hand them to The Rock. The Rock will then proceed to turn them sideways…and shove them straight up your ass! Orton…Just Bring It! Rating: A* JR: I’m going to try and call the rest of the show, but frankly King, I’m just stunned- The Rock has returned to the WWE and will face Randy Orton at No Way Out. Lawler: That’s right JR. But up next, it’s a preview of sorts for No Way Out. Smackdown’s John Cena teams up with Umaga to take on rookie Jack Styles and Shawn Michaels. The match gets underway. & vs. & It was a lot better received than expected, and the fans seemed to care about Styles. It went on for a while, but probably deserved a bit longer. Styles got some offence in, but was constantly over-powered. Eventually, Cena picked up the win for his team, when HBK tapped out to the STFU. Winners at 8:45 John Cena and Umaga Rating: B+ Main Event: World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker vs. The Rock vs. The match was, in short, awesome. A brilliant return for The Rock, who didn’t miss a beat. The two put on a match the Attitude Era would have killed its unborn babies for, full of near falls. In the 10th minute, Undertaker went for a Chokeslam, but Rock elbowed him in the gut and went for a Rock Bottom. Taker shoved him away, and hoisted him up for a Last Ride. This was reversed too, when Rocky slipped behind, spun the champ around and hit a Spinebuster. The crowd nearly saw a People’s Elbow, but Taker sat up just before it connected. Minutes later, The Rock fell to a Chokeslam, but got the shoulder up. In the closing moments of the match, Taker was hit with a Rock Bottom, followed by a People’s Elbow, but defiantly kicked out. In a couple of minutes it was all over, when The Undertaker hit The Rock with a Tombstone and picked up the win. Winner at 17:02 The Undertaker Rating: A Overall: B+

Well, Mr. Undertaker…you’re hereby in a match tonight against…Abyss. Now, I’m sick of ECW being continually undermined by the Big Boys Raw and Smackdown. Tonight, you WILL admit defeat in the most obvious and undisputable way. It will be, non-title of course, World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker versus Abyss…in an I Quit…Steel Cage Match! And Big Evil…if you don’t win this match…I will use my power as a General Manager in the WWE…to publicly fire you! It’s gonna be a cake walk, and I can’t wait! Wrestlemania is always big, Paul E, but this will be the biggest yet! The first ever WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion…the Icon, the Show-stopper, the Heartbreak Kid…Shawn Michaels! I’m going to weaken Cena this Sunday at No Way Out, select the match type that will benefit me…and the fans the most…then, Undertaker will be weakened both physically and morally from his defeat tonight, so I’ll pick up the pieces and become your champ. It went on a while, and was back-and-forth action, mostly limited to brawling though. In the 13th minute, Taker had Abyss tied to the cage by his hair. He started to pummel the Monster with right hands and big boots, then began dragging him away from the cage, suspended him by his hair. After over a minute of punishment, Abyss was forced to say “I Quit”, giving The Undertaker the win, and allowing him to keep his job. He nearly sent Van Dam through the table with a Crucifix, but it didn’t break. Moments later, RVD placed Mordecai on a different table, at ringside, and scaled a ladder that was placed inside the ring. He then flew threw the sky, hitting a huge Five Star Frog Splash and winning the match. Rob Van Dam is in the final, facing either Tajiri or Sabu, which is coming up next. But…whoa! This isn’t right! Mordecai attacks the celebrating RVD from behind, and lays into him. He then grabs a steel chair, a Singapore cane and a table from under the ring. Tazz: Whoa! He’s just swinging that cane, taking off Rob’s head! Styles: Well, not quite taking if off, but damn close! This is just brutal! Tazz: Too right Joey. Now he’s just laying into him with a steel chair. Now he’s placed it on the table…and he’s got RVD on the top rope. Styles: OH MY GOD! Top rope Crucifix through the f****** table! Mordecai lost the battle, but he may have won the war! Sabu very nearly picked up the win half way through, but Tajiri rolled of the table, avoided an Arabian Facebuster. In the 6th minute it ended, when Tajiri suspended the table between the ring and ring-side barrier. The martial artist then ran up a chair, jumped and hit a Senton right through the table. Then…a Raw superstar is put against an ECW monster…and ECW loses…so, The Rock realises that ECW can’t even win on their own show. Whoa, whoa...with you I ain’t got no real beef…but on Sunday you’re body’s coming from your head like a branch from a leaf. My names John Cena, champion of WWE! This Sunday it all comes to a head…well, until Wrestlemania. At the Superbowl of Sports Entertainment, we will crown the first ever WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion in a Triple Threat, which will unite the WWE and World Championships. After winning the Royal Rumble, Shawn earned the chance to compete in the match and become the first ever UWC. The winner of the match this Sunday will get to choose the match type at Wrestlemania. This will have a huge effect on the outcome- Cena would be smart to select a Street Fight or similar kind of match, to fit his brawling street-style. HBK on the other hand could choose a Submission-only match, because of his superiority in that area over the two World Champions. One thing is for certain- the main event of No Way Out will shape the main event of Wrestlemania 23…make sure you don’t miss it! Predictions/comments etc?

I’m Jim Ross, with Jerry Lawler and Smackdown’s JBL at ringside. What a show we have lined up for tonight! Lawler: You’re right JR! We’re kicking things off with a Raw match, the “New American Dream” Dustin Rhodes versus Carlito. Well, here comes Dustin’s father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes! Dusty: Tonight my son Dustin Rhodes goes one-on-one with a brash, ****y young upstart Carlito Caribbean Cool. Well, he’s gonna kick his un-American Ass! We’re the American Dreams, and my son’s gonna continue our tradition. Carlito- he’s a decorated champion, outside of WWE. I had my success in the NWA. My son Dustin…he’s the future. He’s going to win many a title, and his run starts tonight. Rating: C- JR: Here we go! Dustin Rhodes verses Carlito! This should be good! Rhodes went for the pin, but only got a 2-count. 3:38 Dustin was still in control following the near-fall, hitting a series of suplexes and DDTs. 4:59 Carlito regains control with a thumb to the eyes and a choke, taking Rhodes to the mat. 4:20 A low blow (unseen by the ref) made Dustin buckle. 4:24 Carlito hit the Backcracker and picked up the win. Winner at 5:27 Carlito Rating: C JR: What a match! A terrible ending, but a solid match between two good athletes that deserved a match on the card. Up next is another Raw match for the World Tag Team Championships. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team got the right to challenge for the titles earlier this month, and get their match up next…in a Ladder Match with the Hardy Boyz! Rating: C World Tag Team Championship Match: Ladder Match: The Hardys vs. The World’s Greatest Tag Team & (C) vs. & 0:43 Benjamin and Haas just take the fight to Matt and Jeff, wrestling them to the mat. 1:58 They still have control, avoiding the ladders thus far, to prevent the Hardys getting the advantage. 2:31 Jeff hits a dropkick out of nowhere and goes on the offence. 3:25 The Hardys grab a ladder each and start swinging, taking out TWGTT. 4:09 One ladder is stood up outside the ring, with another leant against the ropes inside. That can’t be accidentally! 5:53 It isn’t Charlie Haas and Matt Hardy are having a slugfest on the top of the outside-ladder. Suddenly, Benjamin charges, leaps of the ladder, catches Hardy and in one swift movement flips back and hits a German Suplex! Jumping an incredible distance and hitting an awe-inspiring move, he gets a huge “Holy ****” chant. 6:42 Charlie Haas gets into the ring, ignoring his possibly injured partner. He scales another ladder, with another stood next to it. Matt pulls him down. 7:59 Matt Hardy and Haas are on adjacent ladders. Matt goes for a Twist of Fate, but it’s reversed into a Tornado DDT, knocking both out. 8:44 With every other competitor out, including his partner, Benjamin crawls up a ladder and gets the belts. I need a decision right now. So holla at me- who are ya going to face, champ? Regal: Well, I don’t want to face a street thug who spends his time- and most probably money- on common trollops. So, Montel Vontavious Porter is out. I don’t want the United States Championship contaminated by a freak who dresses like it’s bloody Halloween every day. So, The Boogeyman…he’s out. Therefore, my valiant challenger will be the Fighting Irishman…Finlay! Rating: C+ JBL: I guess I’m calling this all alone! Thank God, I get some damn peace without Michael Cole. Here we go- United States Title- Regal against Finlay- this should be good! Robbie looks on fire, taking out Deuce and Domino 2:20 The Highlanders are about to go for the Scot-Drop, but Cherry gets onto the apron. Kane falls to the arena floor, and The Animal starts swinging, the hammer smashing into Kane’s back and skull. Dave starts choking him with it, and drags him to the top of the stage. There, he pummels him with rights and lefts, and smashes his head into the titan-tron. JBL: Kane’s busted open! Looks like Batista’s laying down a challenge of his own! Wow! Just, wow! JR: You’re ring, King! Shane has made the match for ‘Mania, but the IC Champion is hoping that Christian will soften up Jericho in their TLC Match, which is just ready to get started. Jericho climbs another, and hits a moonsault onto it, breaking it in half! 9:00 Both men are still down, not moving a muscle. 10:27 Jericho stumbles to his feet, slips a ladder into the ring, sets it up and starts to climb.
