WWE: Time To Play The Game...for now...

Pre-show: 15-Man Battle Royal This was a decent battle royal, featuring some big stars and jobbers. The final four consisted of Elijah Burke, Perry Saturn, Brock Lesnar and Gene Snitsky. Saturn was taken out first, when Burke hit the Elijah Experience, sending him over the top rope. Snitsky eliminated Burke with a Body Press Slam. He and Brock brawled for a couple of minutes, until Lesnar (who put in a stand-out performance) locked in a Standing Stretch Muffler, before dumping the former ECW Xtreme Champion over the top rope. Winner at 9:52 Brock Lesnar Rating: C ECW Xtreme Tag Team Champion The Sandman vs. Viscera vs. The Boogeyman This wasn’t great by any means. Boogey has become lost in the mix, which is surprising considering the low number of main eventers on ECW. Sandman has lost popularity with management after he turned up late to a show he won a title on. Viscera just hasn’t really made an impact. It lasted less than 4 minutes, ending when Boogey hit the Goodnight on Viscera for the win. Winner at 3:25 The Boogeyman Rating: D+ Styles: Welcome to ECW! I’m Joey Styles alongside Tazz, and we’re starting the show off tonight with a Number 1 Contenders Match! Tazz: Christopher Daniels and Senshi Dragon- the Fallen Angels- are taking on the returning Sylvain Grenier and Rene Dupree. This should be a decent match, and the fans would want to see either team get their asses kicked by Balls and Sandman! Both teams are by this time in the ring, and the match begins. & vs. & Terribly short, it was still entertaining for the brief time it lasted. In the end, Dupree and Grenier lost their return match, when Sylvain lost to the Ghetto Stomp. Winners at 2:31 Fallen Angels Rating: C- Styles: Wow! Rene and Sylvain are despatched of in little time, and Daniels and Senshi are the number 1 contenders! But…oh my God! Here come the Extremists! Balls Mahoney and The Sandman, the tag team champions, come to the ring through the crowd with a chair and a Singapore cane respectively. They attack the new contenders and send them packing through the crowd. Rating: D- Balls stays into the ring, because he’s got a match next against a mystery opponent. It is …Edge! vs. Balls surprisingly got some offence in on this and didn’t look to terrible and weak. Part way through, Punk walked down and took a seat at the announce table, but didn’t interfere. Edge got the win in the 6th minute with a Spear, but not before being busted open. Winner at 6:51 Edge Rating: C+ Edge collapses due to the blood loss, and CM Punk slips into the ring. He raises a chair above hit head, but stops just before it comes crashing into Edge’s already damaged head. He drops the chair and instead hoists Edge onto his shoulders and goes for the Go To Sleep. Instead of hitting it, he just places Edge down and shakes his head. Punk raises his arms then walks slowly up the ramp, signalling that he was “this close” to knocking Edge out. Rating: B Non-title: ECW Xtreme Champion Tajiri vs. Rob Conway vs. Conway makes his WWE return in decent fashion, pulling off a decent TV-match with the champ. In the end, it didn’t last long or end well for the former “Con-man”, as he got pinned after a Buzzsaw Kick in the 3rd minute. Winner at 3:39 Tajiri Rating: C+ Tajiri is stood tall after his match. Suddenly, the lights go dark red and a casket is wheeled down to the ring. Tajiri timidly and nervously walks over to it. Cautiously, the champion opens the casket…and Mordecai sits straight up and grabs the champ round the throat. He climbs out and hits a Crucifix Powerbomb, but escapes before Mordecai can lock him in a casket. Mordecai stays out because he’s in a huge 10 man tag match next! Rating: C- Mordecai, Alpha Monsters, Alex Martin and Jimmy Rave vs. 2nd City Saints, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards and Sabu &&&& vs. &&&& This was average, but had a good amount of fan interest considering who was in it. It lasted nearly 8 minutes, and the two teams traded offence for much of this time. In the end, Mordecai hit the second Crucifixion of the night, this time on Tommy Dreamer and for the win. Winners at 7:39 Mordecai, Alpha Monsters, Alex Martin and Jimmy Rave Rating: C- Styles: Up next is a huge match! Randy Orton will be, by order of Paul Heyman, making his first defence of the Ultimate Wrestling Title! That’s right, his match with Rob Van Dam, our main event, is now for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship! This should be huge, and can RVD be the first ECW wrestler to hold this coveted belt? It’s time to find out! Rating: B- WWE Ultimate Wrestling Title Match: WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam vs. This was quite good, but after RVD’s match with Lesnar the other week it shows that Orton is not of that calibre. Still, this was a decent end to the show, albeit only lasting just over 7 minutes. Orton got the win with a brutal RKO which Van Dam sold beautifully. Winner at 7:22 and STILL WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton Rating: B- FINAL RATING: B- ADeezy62- 1/5, you still win though :p Current standings: Wrestlefan: 2 The Human Cancer: 2 Gobble.D.Gooker: 1 Chris Caulfield: 1 ADeezy62: 4 So, any comments? I'm posting the preview for Smackdown in about 30 minutes, and I may get the show up tonight. I'm trying to move this along quickly, because in-game I'm actually about to book Summerslam. I'm finishing typing up the next month after Judgement Day, so I'm not as behind here at I thought I was.

Two fights occurred backstage last night! Scotty 2 Hotty and Daivari got into one fight, as did Marcus Cor Von and The Boogeyman. All four men were given a one-month suspension. Marty “Boogeyman” Wright complained about his suspension. Alistair McGeorge has since notified Boogeyman that his contract will be terminated. Booker “T” Huffman has signed a new contract to keep him with WWE for two years. WWE have announced the following matches tonight: Cruiserweight Title Match: Cruiserweight Champion Jack Styles vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Gregory Helms: After the recent interference in each others’ matches, and the subsequent tag-team contest last week on Smackdown, Theodore Long has made this huge title match for this week! Will the nearly 2-month reign of Styles end after only 2 defences, or will he overcome three challengers to keep his title for another week. CM Punk and Ron Simmons vs. Edge and John “Bradshaw” Layfield: JBL has been harassing Punk for weeks in interviews and editions of the John Layfield Show. Last week they met in the ring, but Edge Speared Punk. It seemed to be a set-up, as Edge laid into his Judgement Day opponent after the bell. JBL and Edge got Vince McMahon to make an inter-brand handicap match between the two of them and CM Punk. The Board of Directors made this a tag team contest, and Punk chose a man both he and Bradshaw have tagged with…Ron “Farooq” Simmons! John Cena vs. Booker T: Cena beat Booker T and 2 other men in a huge main event last week, just a week after he was turned on by former friend, now fan-favourite, Christian. Booker T knows what it feels like to be turned on by a partner, as Bobby Lashley attacked the Book during a tag match earlier this year. This week they face off in singles action. Who can truly last alone? Christian vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley: The hottest free-agent in America, Brock Lesnar, is coming to Smackdown this week! Christian is coming off a loss last week at the hands of Batista, but looks to regain his momentum in this huge triple threat. Lesnar hasn’t been seen on Smackdown since before Backlash and so will be looking to make his return with a bang. Lashley may have Kane to worry about, but he’ll be hoping he can overcome that distraction and get the job done. Kane vs. Ken Kennedy and Batista: Kane’s life has been made hell by Kennedy, Batista and Lashley this month. From backstage attacks to constant matches, Kane can’t get away. This week he faces Ken Kennedy and Batista in a handicap match, and both promise an announcement to be made regarding Judgement Day. Brian Kendrick and William Regal vs. Finlay and Paul London The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton and Spike Dudley (see below)! Also, in HUGE news, WWE has made 3 talent trades with TNA. Spike “Brother Runt” Dudley will return to the promotion for one night only, as noted, with Orton against The Undertaker. Road Dogg will also return again to the WWE, as will Scott Steiner. These three stars have been traded for Viscera, Perry Saturn and The Miz.

OOC: A couple of hours.....nine hours....meh, same difference :p Cole: Welcome, once again, to another action-packed addition of Smackdown. To kick things off, I regret to announce that Brock Lesnar is not here tonight. He wll be replaced in the Triple Threat later on by rookie Kevin Steen. Regardless of that change, we’ve still got several matches set for tonight’s show, but none bigger or better than the main event! JBL: I wouldn’t say bigger Michael, I mean come on- Spike Dudley’s in it! Cole: I didn’t mean physically bigger, but still! Spike Dudley makes his one-night-only return to Friday Nights. He’s been hand-picked by Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton to team up with him to face off against The Undertaker. Rating: B- Cruiserweight Title Match: Cruiserweight Champion Jack Styles vs. Gregory Helms vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. vs. vs. This was not a good title match, although it was as good as expected at the moment. It lasted little over 5 minutes, ending controversially. Chavo, with the ref’s back turned, decked Styles with a chair and then Danielson, but the ref turned back in time to see the last shot. Chavo cost himself the match, and Styles kept his title. Winner at 5:17 Bryan Danielson Rating: D+ Paul London and Brian Kendrick are in action next. It’s Kendrick teaming with Regal to take on London and Finlay. For some reason, Kendrick and London enter first together with the tag team belts. They do their usual entrance, then shake hands and embrace before going to opposite corners. Rating: C+ WWE Tag Team Champion Paul London and Finlay vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick and United States Champion William Regal & vs. & This was quite good, and shockingly London and Finlay had excellent chemistry as partners who don’t get along but still want to win. The match itself was good enough for a mid-card TV match, but hopefully Kendrick and Regal will do better at Judgement Day. In the end, JD opponents got the win when Kendrick hit a Dr. Smoothe’s Secret Recipe on Finlay. Winners at 7:40 Brian Kendrick and William Regal Rating: C+ John Cena is shown backstage. Cena: No raps tonight Christian, just talking straight from my heart. I hate you, Christian. I hate you and all our Smackdown fans. You want to face me at Judgement Day? You want to actually fight me? Damn Christian, it even sounded like you think you’re worth my effort and time! Let me be honest with you…you are. It will be worth every drop of sweat, blood and tear if it means I can kick your ass and destroy your career, and all these fans’ hopes and dreams! No more Christian, cos I’m going to end your career. You won’t be getting one last title SHOT, let alone one last title reign. Christian, I’m going to beat you so bad you won’t be able to walk. I will do all I can next Sunday to cripple you and destroy your life. You want some…come f****** get some! Rating: B+ Christian vs. Kevin Steen vs. Bobby Lashley vs. vs. This was a short match, but still a decent TV contest. It showed that Steen is already able to hang with the big boys, putting in a good effort. In the end, the Peep Impact (Tornado DDT) put Steen away. Winner at 3:58 Christian Rating: C+ After the match, Cena charges to the ring and begins to batter Christian. He lands tens of lefts and rights before hitting an F-U over the top rope. John slipped out of the ring and continued the onslaught with a Spear leading into more rights and lefts. Christian is busted open, but Cena is relentless. He hoists Christian up into a Back Suplex position, then falls back, driving Christian neck-first into the ring apron! He locks Captain Charisma in the STFU, holding it on long after he tapped out. Eventually he releases the hold, before giving Christian a swift kick to the gut and walking up the ramp. Rating: B Vince McMahon makes his way down the ramp and is announced as the guest commentator for the next contest. JBL stands up and gets into the ring. He takes off his shirt and trousers, revealing his wrestling trunks and pads underneath. Rating: B- John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Edge vs. Ron “Farooq” Simmons and CM Punk & vs. & A logical match with a decent amount of history. JBL and RFS’s history was played up a lot as well. This was as good a match as could be expected with Simmons and Bradshaw in the ring, but still passable. It ended at 9 minutes when Simmons fell victim to a devastating Spear. Winners at 9:02 Edge and JBL Rating: C+ Kane vs. Batista and Ken Kennedy vs. & This wasn’t all that great; better is expected from all three men, and Kane and Batista have done much better in the past. In the end, it was yet another “decent” match, disappointing after the huge string of excellent and legendary matches of late. It ended just over 7 minutes in, Kennedy getting the win with a Green Bay Packer. Winners at 7:14 Ken Kennedy and Batista Rating: C+ Bobby Lashley walks to the ring, and all three men (Kennedy, Batista and Lashley) have a mic. Kane is meanwhile stood on the ramp. Lashley: Great news guys! Awesome news! The deal has pulled through! Cole: What the hell is this ab- JBL: Shhhh! Kennedy: Brilliant! Kane, we have an announcement to make! At Judgement Day it will be the Big Red Monster Kane…Kane. Up against Mister…Kennedy……….Kennedy! And…Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave…Batista…Batista! AND…Bobby Lashley…Lashley! Batista: You know the best thing Kane? Loser leaves Smackdown! So, if we somehow get beaten, that’s three extra stars for ECW or Raw, depending on where each of us goes. Hell, Lashley could go back to TNA! You lose Kane…and you will…and you’ll be gone from Smackdown! Off my back and sent packing and that…that’s just so sweet! Rating: B+ Rey Mysterio vs. Little Guido Maritato vs. This was a short cruiserweight match that did nothing for the crowd. Guido wasn’t used well, if at all, on ECW and all he’s done since coming to Smackdown was losing a contenders match. Anyway, Mysterio put in a stand-out performance and hopefully this will see him rise back into a prominent position on the brand. He won in the 4th minute with a West Coast Pop. Winner at 4:25 Rey Mysterio Rating: D+ John Cena vs. Booker T vs. Cena came out to middle fingers and boos from everyone in the crowd. Booker came out to a decent pop and the two put on a good match lasting nearly 12 minutes. In the 11th minute, Booker accidentally took out the ref with a kick. Suddenly, Christian appeared from the crowd, with a bandage around his head and middle. He slipped behind Cena and delivered an Unprettier. Booker paused for a moment, then capitalised, pinning John Cena for the win. Winner at 11:52 Booker T Rating: B Christian continues to hand out some retribution, battering Cena continually. Suddenly, Spike Dudley runs out with a chair! He’s swings it, but Christian slips out before any connection is made. Spike stands tall, before his partner makes his way to the ring for the main event! Rating: B- WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton and Spike Dudley vs. The Undertaker & vs. This wasn’t that great at all, and it was odd that a Smackdown main event comprised of a champion that performs on all three brands, a Raw superstar and a TNA star (albeit formally a Smackdown, Raw and ECW one). Undertaker looked good out there, and it just seems that Spike’s appearance didn’t go over that well with the fans. Anyway, it lasted a good 11 minutes, ending when Orton got the win out of nowhere with an RKO! Winners at 11:35 Randy Orton and Spike Dudley Rating: C+ Orton slipped right out of the ring, but Spike didn’t get out in time. He turned into a huge right by the Dead Man, who hit a Chokeslam. A casket was wheeled out by some druids and opened up. Undertaker hoisted Spike up for the Last Ride and slammed him down into the casket. He closed the lid and then brought out a lighter and lighter fluid. He poured it all over the casket before setting it alight, with Spike Dudley inside. The final image of the show was a wall of flames on top of the casket in front of The Undertaker, with the arena lights off! Rating: B FINAL RATING: B-, JBL was used too much.

I’m Jim Ross with my broadcast partner Jerry “The King” Lawler and an interesting change to our main event! Randy Orton's manager Mike Tyson is banned from ringside! That will certainly have an effect on the match, and- wow! Here comes Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid, the Icon and the Future Hall of Famer! HBK: It’s come to my attention that a certain Hart has inked a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. The details are not yet know, so I don’t know whether this is as a wrestler or just a money-grabbing publicity stunt. I’m suspecting the latter. But anyway, I’ve got an idea. Survivor Series 2007…Shawn Michaels going ONE-ON-ONE, one more time, with Bret Hart! But here’s the best part of my idea…it’ll be the FIRST EVER…Sharpshooter Only Match! Think about it…10 years on…THE move that gave birth to all this bad blood. I say we give these fans a clinic and tear the house down, one more time. What do you say, Bret? If you really have signed… Rating: B+ Glass Smash! Steve Austin walks to the ring. If you want to see this match at Survivor Series, give me a hell yeah! That’s what I thought…and it’s damn good you all want to see it, because…the rumours are true! That talented SOB Bret Hart has signed with WWE! So, Sharpshooter Only…I say that’s a damn fine stipulation, although a bit sleazy you double-standard son of a bitch. With that being said…2007, Survivor Series. 10 years on, it’s going to be Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels…live in Montreal! And that’s the bottom line…cos Stone Cold said so! Former partners and former World Tag Team Champions collide! Last week, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas- the World’s Greatest Tag Team- lost the tag team titles. After this, Haas turned on Benjamin saying so many cruel things! Lawler: He talked about Shelton’s love for Haas and then decked him, and tonight they’ll face off! From the start, the ref was taken out almost immediately by Shane. As soon as the ref hit the mat, Johnny Nitro, Kenny Dykstra and Samoan Seanoa ran out and attacked Palumbo, decimating him. The referee got to his feet, but then Umaga charged to the ring and hit a Samoan Spike on Palumbo, causing the DQ. Winner at 4:04 Chuck Palumbo Rating: C Chris Jericho makes his impressive entrance to the fans delight. He gets a mic from ringside and the music dies down. Hell, I’m not even on the card for tonight. Since I lost at Backlash, I seem to be floundering. Well tonight I get back on top. Kenny Dykstra, you’re in the Corporation…so I hate you. Simple as! So how about it…once again, Y2J versus Kenny! No stipulations, just one legend, one ass-clown and one hell of a match. What did you say? Dykstra comes out to the stage. Dykstra: You want to face me? Me, Kenny Dykstra, the future Hall of Famer and best young athlete in the WWE…you can’t beat me! You’ve done nothing of note this year, but my star has risen. You want a match right now? Let’s go! Rating: B+ Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Dykstra vs. They didn’t click at all, and that fact showed the class of these men. Although the match was sloppy at times, they still made it a decent contest and held it together for nearly fifteen minutes. Eventually, Y2J locked in the Walls of Jericho, and Dykstra tapped out moments later. Winner at 14:49 Chris Jericho Rating: B- We are shown a video of Ric Flair, “via satellite”. Brock, we’re facing off at last and it’ll be sweet to get my revenge. Pay-backs a bitch and this Sunday you’re getting a rottweiler! I’m going to beat you so bad you can’t walk, just like you did to me. For over a month you’ve robbed me of my livelihood! You robbed me of my career and dignity. You destroyed my reputation and it’s about time I got some ****ing retribution! I’m going to make you bleed, make you suffer. I’m not going to end your career, oh no! I’m going to end your ****ing life! You won’t be able to walk away. But Brock…I don’t think a Stretcher Match is enough! You’ve already had that, and you lost. It’s time for you to suffer new pain. Brock, this Sunday we’re going to go one-on-one…in a Steel Cage Match! Old-school, escape-only! Brock, you’re not walking out of this one! Woooooooooo! Rating: A* Brock Lesnar vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. A short match to protect Steve’s neck, this was awesome for what it was. In the end, Austin took a major bump (for a man with his neck problems), taking an F-5 which lead to the win. Winner at 4:27 Brock Lesnar Rating: B+ Shelton Benjamin vs. Charlie Haas vs. This was quite good, which isn’t surprising when you take the superb talent of these men into consideration. They put on a decent mat-based match, ending when Haas pinned Benjamin with a roll up and a handful of tights. Winner at 6:39 Charlie Haas Rating: B- Benjamin: Whoa, whoa, whoa! That is not how this is going down! Charlie, I respect you too damn much to have you beat me like that! We’re going to make this decisive and memorable…Best of 7 Series! Edge came out of this looking good. It started in a fairly basic manner, building up to the conclusion, which saw Edge take out Venis and Punk with a Double Diving Spear! Winners at 12:28 Edge and Umaga Rating: A Scott Steiner makes his entrance for the main event, then completes a massive amount of press-ups. Steiner wasn’t as over as management expected him to be and that seemed to hurt the reaction for this match. It was more of a brawl than anything else, and in the end the numbers game was once again too much for Undertaker, as he lost to the RKO in the 12th minute. Winners at 12:36 Randy Orton and Scott Steiner Rating: B- Steiner leaves the ring to no reaction, and all of a sudden Mike Tyson’s music hits and the Baddest Man on the Planet makes his way to the ring. Tyson and his client Randy Orton lay into The Undertaker, beating him down. Tyson hits a huge Uppercut, sending Taker spinning into a second RKO. Rating: B FINAL RATING: B. Tyson was slightly over-used. This was still a success. ADeezy62, you got 1/6 and win as the only entrant again. So, the standing are: Wrestlefan: 2 The Human Cancer: 2 Gobble.D.Gooker: 1 Chris Caulfield: 1 ADeezy62: 5 If anyone could post a comment or two, that'd be great and really appreciated. I enjoy doing this diary, and the predictions help, but to be honest comments keep me motivated, and without them I find myself not really bothering to make sure a show gets up soon. This will keep going regardless, it'd just be nice and probably a bit more frequent if I got some more comments. Thanks to those of you that have done, glad the response is generally good. I should have a preview for ECW up within the hour.

I just clicked into your diary for the first time, and I'm glad you are doing the HBK/Hart rematch. In almost every game I play I run that program. I normally do it in 2001 or so, but none the less, that's one match that I think people would o go through the roof for! But you better do the ring thing and have.... HBK WIN!

Mr. Orton, at Judgement Day you face The Undertaker in what should be the final match in your epic feud! I have to ask…do you honestly think you have a ****ing chance. Orton: Of course I have a chance! You should be asking that question to The Undertaker, because I beat him for this title last month! My reign won’t be as short as his- I’m going to Raw on Monday…hell, I’m going into the Great American Bash next month…as the WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion. Tyson: Undertaker doesn’t have a chance in hell! I’ve orchestrated the plan that’s taken him out of his game. It’s no longer business; it’s no longer about the Ultimate Wrestling title that this man holds. It’s all personal, and that will be your down-fall Undertaker! Heyman: Undertaker’s had it personal in the past and come out on top. He’s beaten people twice the man Mr. Orton is, so why can’t he regain the title this Sunday? I’m Michael Cole, he’s John “Bradshaw” Layfield and- wow! Here comes CM Punk, the man who will face Edge in a Number 1 Contenders Match this Sunday at Judgement Day! Hmmm…how about “I’m Straight Edge, I’m only addicted to competition! I’m better than you, yeah blah, blah, blah!” It’s bull****, and you know I can beat you. Who did you beat? John Cena… I’ve beaten John Cena! Christian…he used to be my partner, I could beat him! I had to beat two of the best high-flyers in our business, Chris Jericho and Johnny Nitro. The perfect combination of size, speed and technical skills…but I’m better! Punk: Not a chance, Edge. Sure, you’ve had your share of titles and great matches, but I have youth and concentration on my side. I funnel all my energy into getting the job done, whereas you just focus on cheating and looking your best for all the ring-rats. Finlay’s gimmick needs freshening up a bit, and he was off his game a bit, which was a shock. Bret Hart makes his way to a WWE ring for the first time in almost a decade! The fans are insane, really cheering for the legend. However, some decide to start a “Bret screwed Bret” chant, ruining the moment. Bret: I didn’t screw anyone, except for your sister last night. John, thanks for having me on the show. JBL: It’s a privilege…unlike that guys sister! Sorry Bret, but don’t think you’re special- hell I’ve had a go too! But let’s get to business. Shawn Michaels laid down a challenge for you on Monday, and then General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin accepted it for you! He set the date for Survivor Series this year, in Montreal. If that wasn’t conjuring up enough memories for you, it’s a Sharpshooter Only Match! Bret: You know, it’s the ten years of pettiness and cheap-shots that made me want to come back to the WWE and kick Shawn Michaels ass… which brings me to MY announcement regarding the match. Now, I know I shouldn’t be revealing everything this early on! I mean, Steve Austin- a good friend of mine, by the way- announced the match type and date. But I feel this should be out in the open now, so there’s no escaping. The Special Guest Referee will be…Vince McMahon. If Vince won’t do this…I’m walking out again. I can go back there Vince, they’re back in business. JBL: Yeah but they’re not even on TV yet, you wouldn’t want to go there! But regardless of that, this match should be huge and it’ll be great to see you back in the ring. Bret: I’ve got a lot of work to do to get into the right shape and level of fitness to compete. Tests have got to be run to ensure my head and heart will be in good enough condition, but once we get the all-clear I can honestly say it’ll be a classic contest. JBL: It damn sure will be, and I’m rooting for you Bret! Anyway, thanks for coming on the show! Bret: Thanks for having me, it’s a pleasure. Regal: This Sunday I will successfully defend the United States Championship against a valiant challenger, Brian Kendrick. When I do so, I will, next week on Smackdown, re-name this title the United Kingdom Championship! Myself and Brian Kendrick will put on a bloody fantastic technical masterpiece, and it’s just a damn shame that he won’t be walking out with anything from the match. Oh wait, he’ll have the tag team titles…oh joy. Rating: B Non-title: William Regal vs. Kane vs. This was an awesome match lasting a good quarter of an hour. Regal and Kane both engaged the crowd in the match, which was sadly tainted by the ending (although it was the logical conclusion). Batista and Kendrick ran in at the same time, taking out their respective opponents at Judgement Day. William Regal vs. Kane ended at 14:54 in a draw. Rating: B+ Kane gets to his feet but is taken straight out by Batista again. Ken Kennedy and Bobby Lashley run to the ring to help out their partner at Judgement Day weaken their sole opponent. Kennedy hits a Senton Bomb, followed by a Spinebuster by Batista. Those two hold Kane up by his arms as Lashley charges to hit the Spear, but suddenly Booker T charges in and takes him out. Booker T takes Lashley out of the ring with a clothesline, and then Kane throws Batista out. Kennedy and Booker T face off and a ref runs down to start an impromptu match. Rating: B Booker T vs. Ken Kennedy vs. Booker T’s been floundering a bit since his return in terms of the quality of his matches. It was still watch-able, as they’ve all been, but nothing exceptional. Kennedy got the win 8 minutes in with a Green Bay Plunge. Winner at 7:57 Ken Kennedy Rating: B- A video plays recapping all the history between The Undertaker and Randy Orton! It lasted nearly 20 minutes, featuring back-and-forth action and teases for all 3 matches at Judgement Day. In the end, Christian got a shock win over the WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion with a Peep Impact! Winners at 18:22 Christian, CM Punk and The Undertaker Rating: B FINAL RATING: B, success. Pre-show: ECW Title Match: Casket Match: ECW Xtreme Champion Tajiri vs. Mordecai It was a surprise that this was put as a dark match, because they have great chemistry and do pull out entertaining matches. This was the poorest of their single matches, but still ok. It lasted nearly 12 minutes, until Daniels and Senshi ran to the ring and helped Mordecai lock Tajiri in the casket. Winner at 11:38 and NEW ECW Xtreme Champion Mordecai Rating: C+ JR: Hello ladies and gentlemen! This is WWE Judgement Day and what a show we’ve got tonight! I’m Jim Ross, and my broadcast partner Jerry “The King” Lawler joins me for commentary tonight. Also in the house tonight are Smackdown! JBL: Damn right JR! We’ve got one hell of a pay-per-view lined up tonight, and every match should be awesome! JR: That’s right Bradshaw! Especially our main event! It’s the WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion, a man representing all three brands, Randy Orton against The Undertaker once more! It should be a real slobber-knocker and- JBL: And just one hell of a fight! Speak English! Rating: B A video is shown recapping some of the arguments Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff have had as Co-General Managers of Raw. The final part of the video shows Dorian Deville’s debut, when he completely destroyed Alistair McGeorge. The audio over this clip is Eric Bischoff making the next match: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Dorian Deville! Rating: B- JR: Raw kicks things off tonight with a match that could effect the entire landscape of Monday nights! This man Dorian Deville is going one-on-one with the Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin! Lawler: That’s right, and if Stone Cold loses, he’s no longer one of our two General Manager’s on Raw! Austin can’t afford to lose this! Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Dorian Deville (If Austin loses, he’s no longer GM) vs. Austin went straight for Deville after the opening bell, landing lefts and rights on the body of the monster. They seemingly had no effect, and after a few, Dorian Deville sent Stone Cold across the ring with a big boot to the skull! Deville dominated for a couple of minutes, until Austin hit three consecutive clotheslines, eventually knocking the monster off his feet. They fought for another couple of minutes until out of nowhere Steve Austin hit a Stone Cold Stunner! He went for the cover…but no! Deville powered out and started to choke Austin. He slipped outside the ring and grabbed a steel chair, before getting back into the squared circle and then decking Austin in the back, costing himself the match by DQ. Winner at 5:14 and STILL Co-GM of Raw Stone Cold Steve Austin Rating: C+ We cut backstage, where Brian Kendrick is ready to make his entrance for his United States Title match next! Suddenly, Paul London runs into view. London: Whoa Brian wait! Wait! Kendrick: What? London: Just wanted to catch you before your match. Look, I know we’ve had our differences the past few weeks, but you’re my friend and partner and I hope you kick ass tonight. Just go out there and win that title. I guess I’m just trying to say…good luck dude. Rating: C+ Cole: Wow, what sportsmanship! Knowing that his partner is once again on his side, that piece of mind, will help this man Brian Kendrick become a double-champion! JBL: I don’t know, Michael! I mean sure he’s got no distractions but nonetheless he’s facing off against William Regal, a true great of this business in every sense of the word! Cole: True enough, but Kendrick is a phenomenal wrestler as well John! He’s one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions and was trained by the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. He can certainly compete in a technical match-up and win, and that’ll be the type of match I expect Regal will try and force, to play his strengths. United States Title Match: WWE United States Champion William Regal vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick vs. This was good, although some expected better. Either way, it was definitely deserved of its place on the card and kept the fans really entertained. The match began with the two exchanging quick arm drags and takedowns for a couple of minutes, until Regal poked Kendrick in the eyes at the 2 minute mark to gain the advantage. He went straight back on the offence, taking the tag champ down with a snap suplex, going straight into a cover but only getting a 1 count. Kendrick began to fight back, hitting several spinning wheel kicks and dropkicks to try and build momentum. In the 4th minute he hits a superb standing Moonsault, but the US Champ just managed to kick out and stay in the match. Kendrick was Irish Whipped across the ring, but spring-boarded off the middle rope and hit an incredible hurricarana into a pin, again not getting the win though. Regal locked in a Sleeper Hold with scissors and kept Brian Kendrick grounded for the better part of 4 minutes, until midway through the 8th minute the challenger slipped out and kicked the champ, leading him to fall on his knees, leaning on the middle rope! Kendrick ran and looked like hitting the 619, instead running up Regal’s back and leaping, spinning in mid-air and hitting a guillotine Leg Drop. Whilst this left Regal out in the ring, Kendrick was himself in pain on the outside, only just getting back in time to beat the 10-count. In the 11th minute, William Regal hit the Regal Cutter, but Kendrick reversed the pin attempt into a neat little roll up, only for the champ to kick out at 2 and a half! A minute later, Kendrick hit a Standing SSP, but only got a 2 count again. A minute after that he hit the Sliced Bread No. 2, this time getting the 3 and the US Title! Winner at 13:35 and NEW United States Champion Brian Kendrick! Rating: B [/] We cut backstage where Christian is standing with a mic. Christian: Tonight I face off against John Cena. John, when you attacked me a couple of weeks back after an impassioned promo…it cut deep. I’ll admit that that attack was one of the most brutal I’ve suffered, and tonight I will get some closure. I’m going to beat you so bad you can’t walk out of this arena, but here’s the deal; I’m going to do it within the rules! I won’t use the security barricade to attempt to break someone’s neck. No, I’m going to hit the Unprettier so many times you just can’t move. I’m going to make you suffer, but not through cheap-shots- through wrestling. John, I hope this marks the end of your career. Rating: B Intercontinental Championship: IC Champion Shane McMahon vs. Chuck Palumbo vs. Kenny Dykstra vs. vs. This was a match that should’ve been left on TV, but Shane’s only been on one pay-per-view this year, and that was two months ago, so it was about time the IC title was back on PPV. The match began with Dykstra and Shane double-teaming Chuck for a minute or so, taking him down with double-clotheslines, suplexes, DDTs and chokes. At the 2 minute mark, Palumbo hit a surprising Crossbody on both men, giving himself the advantage. He seized the opportunity, beating down on Kenny with rights and lefts, before turning his attention to the champ and locking his arm. Dykstra got back to his feet and broke the hold at 4 minutes. At 5 minutes, Dykstra hit a Guillotine Leg Drop on Palumbo, but Shane dragged him off, reminding him that he is in the match to stop Chuck getting the title off Shane. Chuck hit a Superkick out of nowhere on both men nearly 7 minutes in, knocking Shane onto his back, and Dykstra on top of him. Chuck played to the crowd for a moment, before realising too late that the ref had counted to 3 and Kenny was the new IC champion! Winner at 6:50 and NEW Intercontinental Champion Kenny Dykstra Rating: C Cole: Well, that was a shock! Kenny Dykstra- Corporation member- just accidentally won the IC title! Up next it’s a match with huge implications for Smackdown. Kane and a partner of his choosing will go up against Bobby Lashley, Ken Kennedy and Batista in a three-on-two handicap match. The losing side must leave Smackdown. Here comes Kane now, and he’ll be introducing his partner. Kane: Loser leaves Smackdown…Bobby Lashley, Batista and Ken Kennedy. It will be sweet revenge, after all the attacks, to get you off my back and off MY show. My partner…will not leave Smackdown IF we lose…because he’s not ON Smackdown! Cole: Who’s it gonna be?! JBL: Shut up! HBK’s music hits! Shawn Michaels dances to the ring and high-fives the Big Red Monster! Rating: B- Cole: Oh my! The Heartbreak Kid is teaming with Kane! If Kane and HBK wins, Smackdown loses Bobby Lashley, Batista and Ken Kennedy- they have to leave! If the three…thugs get the win, Smackdown will lose Kane, but NOT his partner, because it’s Shawn Michaels from Raw! After Cole states the obvious, Kennedy, Batista and Lashley make their entrances and the match can begin. It is announced to NOT be under tornado rules. & vs. && Kane is starting against Bobby Lashley, and the two start fairly basically, exchanging holds and strikes until Lashley uses an amateur-style takedown to bring Kane to the mat, locking in a grounded facelock for a moment, bringing the match to just under 2 minutes. Kane rises to his feet and hits an impressive vertical suplex, but only getting a 1-count. The 4th minute of the match sees Kennedy tagged in. Lashley distracts the referee, and Ken and Batista double-team Kane. HBK tries to get in to help his partner, but Kennedy alerts the ref. As the official now holds back Michaels, all three men attack the Big Red Machine, hitting repeated blows to the skull and body. Both illegal men get out before the ref sees the infringement of the rules, and Kennedy goes for a cover. Kane powers out before 1. After 6 minutes in the ring, Kane hits a clothesline on Kennedy and charges to his own corner and makes the tag to Shawn Michaels. HBK runs in to clean house, hitting flying forearms and dropkicks on all three opponents, but eventually the numbers game is too much, and HBK gets grounded with a Spear by Batista! The Showstopper somehow gets a shoulder up a shade before 3, keeping Kane in the fight to stay on Smackdown. Michaels is in the ring against Batista, and starts to build momentum. Out of nowhere in the 8th minute he hit a Superkick, but Kennedy slipped in and kicked him in the back as he was making the cover. 10 minutes in, Batista tagged out to Bobby Lashley just as HBK tagged in Kane! The two monsters started to brawl. Kane went for a Chokeslam, but Lashley knocked his hand away and hit a Spear! He turned to insult the crowd and Shawn Michaels, but as he turned back to make the cover Kane sat up! The Big Red Machine grabbed Lashley by the throat again and Chokeslammed him! Kane pinned Bobby Lashley, but Kennedy once again saved the match for his team. The two continued to brawl for another couple of minutes, until Kennedy and HBK were once again tagged in by their respective partners. The Heartbreak Kid went for the Sweet Chin Music, but Ken Kennedy ducked to avoid the kick and made a tag to Batista. HBK ran and tagged in Kane. The Big Red Monster charged at Batista, who caught him with a vicious low blow that the ref just missed! The Animal hoisted Kane up again and delivered a powerful Spinebuster and made the cover…1…2…3! Batista wins and brings the end to a not-all-that-great but still entertaining match-up. Winners at 14:54 Batista, Bobby Lashley and Ken Kennedy (Kane has to leave Smackdown) Rating: B- JR: That was a great offering from Smackdown, and will we get Kane on Monday Nights? Obviously that option is open to him, as well as ECW, whichever he chooses to persue. Up next is the final chapter in the story of Umaga and Val Venis. It’s the story of a dominant monster and a respected veteran who’s finally reached the top of the sport. Here’s how we got to this final match… A music video is shown recapping the history of Umaga and Val Venis, going from the open challenge that Venis accepted before Wrestlemania 23. Rating: A* Umaga vs. Val Venis vs. The match begins with Venis aiming kicks to the back of Umaga, but the strength of the Samoan Bulldozer is too much as he sends Val Venis across the ring with a shove of one hand. Umaga goes on the offence with a Camel Clutch, before standing with the hold still locked in tight, then flings Venis up and sends him crashing back down neck and back first. By the 3rd minute, the Samoan Bulldozer is still dominating the match, hitting brutal Spinebusters and Sidewalk Slams. He goes for a flying head-butt in the 4th minute, but Val Venis rolls out of harms away and leaps on the offence. He locks in a grounded Full Nelson, but within seconds Umaga has broken the hold, prompting Venis to hit a dropkick and then lock in a sleeper hold. The submission attempt wasn’t successful, the great match continues as Umaga whips Venis into the corner and follows up with a huge Splash. He sets Venis down with his head near the corner and climbs up. The huge Samoan looks ready to hit the Banzai Drop, but Venis leaps up out of nowhere and pulls Umaga down, straight into a roll up, but once again he powers out at 2. With the match nearly 7 minutes old, Venis is building momentum. He hits four clotheslines in a row, and then a shoulder block. He charges again and hits a dropkick which actually knocks Umaga down! He runs and hits a standing Money Shot, but Umaga catches him at impact, before rising to his feet and delivering a brutal fall away slam. At the 10 minute mark, Umaga hits a vicious Samoan Drop that leaves Venis out cold. The Samoan Bulldozer drags him to the corner and sits his lifeless body there. He charges and turns, but just before his large behind drives into Venis’ comparatively small skull, Val slips and sends Umaga crashing back-first into the turnbuckle. Venis hits a shoulder charge and as Umaga staggers back he somehow hits a Russian Leg Sweep, taking the Samoan down. By the 12th minute, Venis manages to get Umaga grounded once again and hits a Money Shot! 1…2…no! Umaga powerfully kicks out, sending Val Venis half-way across the ring. The Samoan Bulldozer goes to work on the skull and body of Venis with submissions and blows, hitting the Samoan Spike as the match reaches its 14th minute! He makes the cover…1…2…NO! Val Venis somehow kicks out of the Samoan Spike! He staggers to his feet and hits a beautiful Spinebuster before locking in a grounded bear-hug, his arms just about fitting around Umaga. After a couple of minutes in the hold, he releases and climbs to the top and leaps to hit the Money Shot…it connects! 1…2…3! Venis wins! Winner at 16:38 Val Venis Rating: B+ JR: Good Lord! What a contest! Venis has done the undoable- beaten the Samoan Bulldozer TWICE in one-on-one action! Once at Wrestlemania and again tonight! What a win! A man who will want to get a huge win up next is the Nature Boy Ric Flair, taking on Brock Lesnar inside a 15 foot high Steel Cage! A music video is shown hyping the Cage Match between Flair and Lesnar. It shows the brutal attack on Flair by Lesnar after their match just over a month ago, and then the promos since. Rating: B+ Steel Cage Match: Ric Flair vs. Brock Lesnar vs. The two start off exchanging amateur-style holds and locks, until Lesnar slips behind and hoists Flair up, dropping down almost instantly, so Ric lands face down with Brock’s weight on top of him. The hold is locked in, but the Nature Boy flicks his leg up, catching Brock in the groin. By the third minute, Flair is still in control, working on Brock’s legs. He takes him out with a chop block and as Lesnar writhes in pain, Flair starts to climb the cage to escape. He gets about half way up, until Brock gets to his feet and climbs onto the top rope, getting Flair in the position for an electric chair drop. He falls back, sending Ric crashing to the mat. Lesnar starts to work on the spine of the Dirtiest Player in the Game, driving him into the unforgiving steel multiple times. As the match is mid-way through its 5th minute, he hits a brutal and damaging F-5 into the cage! Flair falls limp to the mat, and Brock mocks the 16-time world champion and asks the ref to open the door. The mocking gave Flair all the time he needed. Now feigning injury, he quickly kicked Brock’s legs from under him and engages the Figure Four Leg Lock! Brock is still crawling towards the door, in the hold! The emotion from the crowd is incredible! The match reaches its 6th minute and Lesnar’s out! He slips out of the door and crawls down the steps, but both hands are on the floor, no feet! Flair still has the Figure Four Leg Lock in and crawls back to the centre of the ring, slowly but surely dragging his nemesis back into the cage! Brock struggles to his feet and limps around, suddenly taking Flair out with a stiff clothesline, collapsing after the move. Both men get to their feet and Lesnar sets the legend up for the F-5. He goes to swing, but Flair drops behind and hits a low blow, followed up with another Figure Four. The Nature Boy starts to climb, but Brock somehow makes it to his feet and climbs as well! The two begin a slug-fest on top of the cage, until Brock lifts Ric onto his shoulders! He goes to hit the F-5 but the Nature Boy slips off and out the cage, dropping down and winning the match out of nowhere! Flair wins a truly classic encounter. Winner at 10:44 Ric Flair Rating: A* Cole: What a match! Flair gets some revenge. Now it’s the last Smackdown-exclusive match, last brand-exclusive match, of the evening. Christian is getting his hands on John Cena in the ring, one-on-one, at last. Cena faced The Rock on Smackdown calling it the Battle of the Charismas. Looking at this match on paper, it’s going to be the second Battle of the Charismas, if you ask me! JBL: Nobody did! Shut up and let the fans at home enjoy John Cena’s entrance in peace! John Cena vs. Christian vs. Christian makes his entrance, but as he slips into the ring John Cena attacks, hitting Christian when he can’t defend himself. The bell is rung and the match officially begins, with Christian face-down on the mat. Cena starts to go insane, unleashing dozens of punches onto his nemesis. Cena continues the onslaught, and within two minutes he busts Christian open with another hard right to the skull. As the match rolls into its 3rd minute, John Cena is standing over a bloody and barely conscious Christian, an evil look on the last ever WWE Champion’s face. Cena locks in the STFU, barely 4 minutes in! Christian crawls to the rope and manages to reach the bottom rope, breaking the hold. The two begin to slug it out in the 5th minute, until Christian ducks and catches Cena with a dropkick when he turns back round. He puts John Cena in a Sleeper Hold, but he slips out almost instantly. Both men get to their feet and Cena ducks a clothesline attempt, then hoists Christian onto his shoulders for the Back Suplex. Instead of just falling back, he walks to the corner and falls towards it, driving Christian neck-first into the post! Cena goes for the cover, but Christian just gets his foot on the bottom rope before 3. Cena begins to get frustrated, choking Christian and breaking just before the 5-count. The ref pulls the Doctor of Thuganomics away from the corner, allowing Captain Charisma to get to his feet. Cena charges, but Christian slips out of the way, sending Cena straight into the corner. He bounces back out and Christian goes for the Unprettier. John slips out and gets him up for the F-U, but Christian slips off and hits a Reverse DDT at the 7 minute mark, only getting a 2-count. The two begin to brawl again, trading suplexes until Cena hits the F-U out of nowhere! 1…2…wow! Christian gets the shoulder up again! Cena locks in another STFU on a bloody Christian, but Captain Charisma reaches the ropes. Cena begins to get ****y in the 10th minute and Christian rolls him up quickly, but the former WWE champ kicks out before 2. Christian looks gutted that he didn’t get the win, but goes back on the offence, hitting the Unprettier! 1…2…no! Cena gets the shoulder up and Christian looks utterly dejected. He quickly pulls him up, hits the Unprettier and then again! He picks Cena up one last time and delivers the third Unprettier in a row, before making the cover…1…2…3! Christian, with a full crimson mask, exhausted, picks up the huge win in a great contest. Winner at 11:49 Christian Rating: B+ Cole: Oh my God! That was one hell of a match, and Christian somehow pulled through after being busted open very early on. It’s time for the Number 1 Contender Match! Raw vs. Smackdown! Edge vs. CM Punk! Here’s how we got here! A video plays. It shows all the attacks and promos, including each man’s victory at Backlash. Rating: B+ Number 1 Contenders Match: Ladder Match: Smackdown’s CM Punk vs. Raw’s Edge vs. Edge holds out his hand and motions that he wants CM Punk to shake it. Punk looks wary, but eventually extends his hand. The two shake, and pull apart. Punk turns to throw his t-shirt into the crowd, when suddenly Edge hits him in the back of the head with his forearm, sending him to the mat with a cheap-shot. He goes on the attack immediately, stomping and kicking the Straight Edge Superstar before hitting a baseball slide that sends him out of the ring to the thin padding below. He grabs Punk by the hair and drags him to the steel stairs. Just before his head goes crashing into the steps, Punk gets his hands in the way, elbows Edge in the gut and then drop toe holds him face-first into the steps. The Rated R Superstar is still crouched with his face on the stars. CM Punk scales one of the ladders at ringside and jumps, landing elbow first onto Edge’s skull, driving it once again into the steel. Punk slides another ladder into the ring and sets it up, beginning to climb. He gets about half way up, when suddenly Edge slips into the ring and starts to scale it himself. The two meet at the top and start to swing for each other. Edge gets the upper hand and hits a painful belly to belly suplex, sending both men to the mat far below. Edge gets to his feet first, and slips out of the ring to get another ladder. He starts to get in the ring, but is met with a plancha through the middle ropes, Punk crashing face-first into the ladder and Edge. The match reaches the 6 minute mark as Punk tosses the ladder at his opponent. Edge catches it, but is met almost instantly with a dropkick, sending the unforgiving metal into his face. Edge rolls on the ground for a moment, before slowly getting to his feet. CM Punk charges and cracks him with a steel chair he just got from under the ring, busting Edge open. With his opponent out on the outside, the Straight Edge Superstar gets back in the ring and begins to climb again. Edge slips back in with a ladder of his own, setting it up against one of the middle rungs of the ladder Punk’s climbing. He charges up it as Punk reaches the top, and takes him out with a flying Spear. Both men fall about 15 feet and hit the canvas full-force. A minute later, as the match reaches its 10th minute, both men are only just standing. Edge hits a spinning wheel kick out of nowhere, causing Punk to fall out of the ring. He starts to scale the 15-foot ladder once more. He just reaches the top and starts to try and grab the briefcase. He does, and both ladders fall! He’s left dangling 20 feet in the air, unable to get the briefcase without seriously harming himself. Out of nowhere, Punk sets a ladder up outside, climbs it then jumps, landing and springboarding off the top rope, flying half-way across the ring and catching Edge with a missile dropkick. Both men drop to the mat, Edge clearly in more pain. By the 15th minute, Punk is up. He sets the ladder back up in the centre of the ring and starts to climb yet again, but is stopped when the Rated R Superstar grabs his foot. Edge yanks him down, driving Punk’s chin into one of the steps of the ladder. Punk starts bleeding when he gets to his feet, but finds the strength to aim a kick at Edge’s gut. Edge catches it and suddenly hits a quick Edgecution out of nowhere, before climbing the ladder himself. Punk’s up already though, and scales another ladder, placed next to Edge’s. At 17 minutes, the two competitors are both on top of a ladder, next to each other and below the briefcase. Punk reaches to grab it, but Edge slaps him in the face and grabs for it himself, but Punk manages to kick him in the knee. The Rated R Superstar nearly falls off the ladder, but regains his footing and somehow leaps to the other ladder. He lifts Punk up for a huge superplex. The Straight Edge Superstar slips out of the attempt, landing back on the ladder. He then flips over, bringing Edge with him and delivering a brutal flying Neckbreaker! The two men are still out as the match reaches its 20th minute. Edge slowly gets to his feet just as Punk gets to his, charging to hit the Spear! CM Punk slips out of the way, and Edge turns right into a Go To Sleep! Punk scales the ladder once again, and manages to unhook the briefcase and get the win! CM Punk wins an epic contest to become the Number 1 Contender! Winner at 20:40 and NEW Number 1 Contender for the WWE Ultimate Wrestling Championship CM Punk Rating: A* JR: Good Lord! Smackdown has somehow beaten Raw! JBL: Damn it! I’m a Smackdown man at heart, but I hate CM Punk! Edge should’ve won that and Punk doesn’t deserve a damn thing! JR: Well, here comes the Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton, with his manager Mike Tyson. I have to disagree by the way, Bradshaw! Punk deserves the Number 1 Contender spot- tonight, he was the better man. Anyway, I think Mike Tyson and Orton have something to say before Orton’s match with Undertaker. Tyson: The Undertaker will not win tonight. For Mr. Orton, this is all business. For The Undertaker, this is personal. He will be distracted, and the Legend Killer will be focused. The difference in mindsets will help Randy to victory! Orton: Not that I need any help, Dead Man! I’m not like you, Taker! I’m not gonna lose my title at the first pay-per-view hurdle. Last month, at Backlash, you lost your title in your first pay-per-view defence! Sure, you made three defences but who were they against? Marcus Cor Von… Mike Tyson: In his first one-on-one title match! Oh, what a challenge. Orton: Finlay… Tyson: He’s been fighting for the US title or non-title matches all year. But anyway, you got lucky. He can beat you any day of the week- Orton: Wait! He can’t, Dead Man. And why is that? Oh yeah! It’s because you’re a Raw-exclusive talent, because I beat you for the title! Your only other defence is a former-TNA wrestler Abyss. And just 2 weeks later, I defeated you for this championship! My title reign will be more successful. Hell, it already is. I beat a real talent in Rob Van Dam to retain this. I’m going to kick your ass right now and end our feud once and for all. Then I’ll move on to The Great American Bash and destroy CM Punk. Rating: B+ JBL: Orton’s fired up gentlemen, and I agree with him. He’s going to destroy this man The Undertaker tonight, then in a month’s time it will be an honour to commentate when he destroys CM Punk. JR: Undertaker’s a huge, dominant force in the WWE and although he lost last month, I can definitely see him regaining the Ultimate Wrestling Title. Lawler: I can see it happening JR, but Randy Orton is smart and athletic. He’s beaten Undertaker before, and he could do it again! WWE Ultimate Wrestling Championship: WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker (w/ ) vs. The atmosphere is electric for the main event, with two of the biggest superstars in the WWE today ready to face off one last time. The two stare into each others eyes, soaking in the cheers and boos and playing to the crowd for nearly 2 minutes. Undertaker’s eyes roll back into his head, and at this point Orton charges. He aims a clothesline at Taker’s head, but Undertaker suddenly ducks and avoids the lunge. Orton turns back to face his opponent, but turns right into four or five well-aimed shots to the skull. The champ reels back in pain for a moment and then pokes the Dead Man in the eye. He follows up with a headlock, before taking Taker down and keeping the hold locked in tight. Orton pulls Undertaker into a upright, seated position and batters his chest with a closed first, before yanking back on his hair and driving the back of his head into the mat. Orton starts to stamp on the contender, but out of nowhere Taker pulls Orton down into a Triangle Choke. The champion manages to slip out, and both men are back on their feet, facing off as the match reaches its 5th minute. The two lock up in the centre of the ring, with Orton then backing Taker into the corner. Undertaker slips out and lifts Randy, dumping him back in the corner and unleashing with rights and lefts. Orton catches one and hits a hard European Uppercut, but Undertaker is still standing. Randy charges and hits a Crossbody, only managing a 1-count. Taker gets quickly to his feet and hoists Orton up, then sends him crashing to the mat with a bodyslam. The champion finds his way back into the match at the 10 minute mark, raking the Dead Man’s eye and following up with a brutal DDT. He paused to pose for the crowd, turning around only to see The Undertaker sitting up. The champ leaps back on the attack almost immediately, going to kick Taker in the chest. The Dead Man falls back to avoid the attack, and when Orton turns around he’s sat back up again. He doesn’t avoid the next attack though, Randy hitting a quick, stiff kick to the spine. The match rolls into the 12th minute, and Orton is still in control. He knocks the challenger down with a high dropkick and then stalks his opponent. Taker gets up and walks into an RKO! The RKO hits, and Orton goes straight for the cover! 1…2…how?! Undertaker kicks out and sits back up. Orton picks him up again by the hair and goes for another RKO, but the Dead Man doesn’t go down, instead spinning Orton around and hitting the Chokeslam! 1...Tyson’s up on the apron…2…Orton kicks out just as the ref goes to argue with Tyson. The ref was distracted, but the champ kicked out anyway. Taker goes for a Last Ride, but Orton quickly pulls out and then headbutts him in the groin, unseen by the ref. He hits an O-Zone…1…2…no, Taker kicks out again. The match has been going a quarter of an hour, and out of nowhere Undertaker goes for a Tombstone! Orton falls back and goes for a Tombstone of his own! Taker falls back himself, but Orton manages to slip over the back of the Dead Man, before spinning him around and hitting another RKO! 1…2…wow! Taker’s still in the match and this classic will continue! Taker goes for another Chokeslam in the 17th minute, when Orton reverses it into yet another RKO, showing shades of Wrestlemania 21. The ref begins to count again and…once again Undertaker gets a shoulder up. Orton can’t believe it. He starts to complain to the referee, when all of a sudden he’s spun round and caught. Undertaker delivers a Last Ride and makes the cover…one…two…thre- no! A shade before 3, the champion somehow gets a shoulder up. The match reaches its 19th minute at the crowd are incredibly into the action. The near-falls have brought them to a great level of excitement, and the roof almost comes off when Undertaker hits a Tombstone Piledriver! 1…2…dammit! Tyson’s shouted something to the ref, and the official turns for a moment, allowing Orton to kick out. The two get to their feet, only for Orton to kick Taker between the legs and hit a forth RKO! 1…2…3! Orton wins! Winner at 21:31 and STILL WWE Ultimate Wrestling Champion Randy Orton Rating: A* JR: Orton cheated! Dammit he cheated! JBL: He didn’t tell Mike Tyson to shout at the ref, he didn’t mean to kick him there. And the fact is Orton and Undertaker gave each other all they had in this incredible contest and Randy Orton came out on top, winning their war and keeping the Ultimate Wrestling Championship! Final Rating: B+ Adeezy62 got 5/10 and wins again Current Standings: Wrestlefan: 2 The Human Cancer: 2 Gobble.D.Gooker: 1 Chris Caulfield: 1 ADeezy62: 9 (2 points for a PPV) Ok, I've been wanting to get to this PPV for so long, so any comments at all would be extremely well-received!

This will be updated tomorrow, just letting you all know it's not dead. Basically, photobucket is being a pain and has just frozen as I was about a quarter of the way through the show, for the third time tonight. So, I'm gonna call it a night now and try again tomorrow. In the meantime, any predictions or comments?
