Today is about me Vincent Kennedy McMahon passing on the torch of WWE CEO to another person. I have thought long and hard on who it should be. It should be a MAN as ruthless as me... It should be someone as heartless as me and with Grapefruit sized Testicles such as myself! It should be a driven individual who is not afraid to screw people over and make those people kiss his ass! The man I have chosen has been my enemy, but he has been my friend. He has been my ally but yet he has been on the other side of the field at the same time. I have had my ups and downs with him just like a roller coaster and I am glad to say that on some days I am proud to say he has been like a SON to me... Story Behind It: Cena was attacked on RAW in early July and he kept getting attacked week after week but somehow kept overcoming the odds. Finnaly he demanded that whoever was not brave enough to show his face against him do so at Summerslam for his WWE Title... It was Triple H who disposed of Cena quickly since Cena had been hurt for a while Intercontinental Champion: Johnny Nitro Story Behind It: After Santino defended his title successfully for a while Nitro finnaly earned a shot by beating Carlito, Kenny Dykstra and Val Venis in a Fatal Four Way Number One Contenders Match. At Survivor Series he cashed in his Number One Contender Shot in a Ladder Match and defeated Santino quickly sending him back to OVW! Tag Team Champions: The Highlanders Story Behind It: The Cade and Murdoch vs. Hardys Fued ended at Summerslam in a Cage Match in which the Texans captured the gold breaking up the Hardys (Again). A few months later at Survivor Series The Highlanders won the titles in an upset match-up! However Chris Beniot and Ken Kennedy have been breathing down his neck recently and things are looking bleak for the champ! United States Champion: Montel Vontavious Porter Story Behind It: Every week MVP gets better. So far beating the challenges of Brian Kendrick, Paul London, The Boogeyman, Kane and some jobbers MVP looks like a Champion should... How long will it be before WWE gives him that Main Event Push??? WWE Tag Team Champions: The Throwbacks Story Behind It: After losing the Titles at Summerslam to the Canadian Adrenaline Rush (Teddy Hart and Harry Smith) The Throwbacks worked there way back to the top and won the Titles back at Armeggedon in a much talked about match. However with The Hooliganz and CAR breathing down there neck it can only be so long they can hold onto the prestigous WWE Tag Team Titles Cruiserweight Title: Shannon Moore Story Behind It: After months of Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero not doing anything Shannon Moore challenged him on a Smackdown in November... Moore won it and then the Cruiserweight Title went back into oblivion... Punk: Great choice obviously the future of wrestling Haas: Great Technical Wrestler and his indy work shows he can get over Benjamin: Once he gets his head on straight he could easily headline shows Benoit: Deserves it the most MVP: Every day I watch this guy I fall more and more in love with the guy Dykstra: He won't win it... Give him a few years to develop though and he will Morley: Sean is my pet project... He is not going to win the title but he will someday if this keeps going Booker T: Meh... Hes a Big NO.. Former WWE Wrestler Rob Conway (Who has just worked some indy shows and a few shows in Europe) contacted McMahon with an idea to team him and Maven Huffman up in a Tag Team in order to "Enhance to product" though hesitant at first Conway did work for Vince for over 5 years and Maven worked for him for a long time as well.
