It's May 2007, the ECW Brand is a complete failure and Vince McMahon decides to sell it to Paul Heyman seeing Heyman's contract is nearly up. Heyman has been saving his WWE paychecks for the past 7-years and purchases all the ECW rights from Vince, including the ECW Library. Vince also offers Paul any of the ECW branded contracted workers. [B]-Friday, May 2007, Week 1-[/B] Paul Heyman announces he will officially re-open Extreme Championship Wrestling Wednesday, May 2007, Week 2 as they will start with a live wrestling show entitled "Hardcore Wrestling Live" and will hold a show every Wednesday which is NOT televised. This being said, the incredible hype from Independent Wrestling fans all over has greatly increased as they want to be apart of the real re-birth of extreme. Go ahead, chant 'RVD' all you please, but Simon says this, at the end of the night, it will be I, who has the LAST laugh. Hahaha.[/COLOR] The match starts as Rob Van Dam continuously does the 'RVD Thumb Taunt' and Diamond stand there laughing. Simon takes the upper-hand early in the match has he hammers RVD with several punches in the corner. RVD eventually gets his turn has he delivers many kicks to the abdomen of Simon. The crowd popped as RVD hit a post to post Vandaminator on Simon has Fonzie was there with RVD and assisted RVD by holding a chair in front of the groggy Simon. Simon eventually retook control over RVD has he beat him down for a few minutes. Simon then went to hit RVD with a chair but RVD hits yet again another Vandaminator, RVD then goes to the top and hits the Five Star Frog Splash and covers Simon, 1....2.....3! The arena popped incredibly for RVD has he celebrated in the ring, Simon walked back to the dressing room looking at the ring with a big smile on his face. This match was very open has both Morrison and Punk got an even amount of shots it. Morrison's suplex to Punk from the ring to the outside through a table got over big with the crowd. A "We Want Tajiri" chant filled through the arena when Punk had Morrison in the Tarantula. Has Punk had Morrison in the Tarantula, Steve Corino ran down to ringside and blasted Punk in the face with a chair. Corino immediately got a "YOU SUCK DICK" chant has he walked back to the dressing room. Morrison hit a Standing Step-Up Enzuigiri and got the 1....2....3! for the victory! Motor City Machine Guns made their debut with ECW. Cabana was an obvious crowd favorite. Danielson managed to get himself some heat with the crowd do to his last visit with Ring of Honor. Danielson wrestled practically the whole match! He refused to tag in Cabana even though Shelley and Sabin had the upper hand the entire match. Danielson finally tagged Cabana in and Cabana's face made contact with Sabin's Boom Boom BANG! Superkick has Sabin got the 1...2....3! Cabana sat up and looked at Danielson with a smirk on his face has Danielson was hot about the loss. [COLOR="DarkRed"]Winner:[/COLOR] Motor City Machine Guns at 16:02 [COLOR="DarkOrange"]Match Rating:[/COLOR] C + [COLOR="Red"][B]United States Title Match: Little Guido Maritato (c) vs. Brother Runt[/B][/COLOR] This was a great cruiserweight match has Little Guido got over huge with the ECW Arena. 'FBI' chants filled the arena for the first few minutes. Brother Runt wasn't amused has he attacked Guido from behind to begin the match and kept control for a few minutes. Guido eventually slid under a flying cross body has he then took advantage on Runt's left leg. When Runt rolled outside and got a chair, he nailed down has Guido went to grab Runt by the hair, Runt introduced Guido to a pear of brass knucks. Runt got ready to hit the Dudley Dogg has Big Vito Mamaluke came down to the ring and connected with a spine buster on Brother Runt. Guido took advantage of the situation and hit a Arriverderci has he got the 1...2...3! The arena was chanting 'FBI' again has Little Guido and Big Vito Mamaluke celebrated Guido's first title defense. [COLOR="DarkRed"]Winner AND STILL ECW United States Champ:[/COLOR] Little Guido Maritato at 17:39 [COLOR="DarkOrange"]Match Rating:[/COLOR] C [COLOR="Red"][B]Tag Team Title Table Match: Team 3D (c) vs. The HeadBangers[/B][/COLOR] This match was entertaining, yet not a great bout. Has the match started, Brother Ray immediately went to work on Thrasher and Mosh attacked Devon. A large majority of this match was fought in the crowd has an 'ECW' chant filtered the arena. Ray through Thrasher over the guard rail and then threw him into the guard rail head first. A 'Holy ****' chant filtered the arena. Devon and Mosh also made their way to the ring and started having a punch for punch fest. Ray got in the ring with a chair and turned Thrasher around and connected with a chair shot which kept Thrasher somehow on his feet. Thrasher then started moshing and Ray hit him again with this chair dented in half. [COLOR="Blue"]Brother Ray: Devon.... GET THE TABLE![/COLOR] Devon went outside and got the table has Ray went out and picked Mosh up and rolled him back in the ring. A '3D' chant was being chanted loud throughout the arena, Ray set the table up as Devon positioned Mosh for a 3D and they connect right through the table! [COLOR="DarkRed"]Winner AND STILL ECW Tag Team Champs:[/COLOR] Team 3D [COLOR="DarkOrange"]Match Rating:[/COLOR] C+ [COLOR="Red"][B]ECW Television Title Match: Vampiro (c) vs. Tony Mamaluke[/B][/COLOR] Vampiro got over huge with the ECW audience, but at the same time, there were still 'FBI' chants throughout the arena. Tony Mamaluke had the momentum throughout the match has his wrestling skills really played out well. The crowd popped when he hit tornado DDT from the top rope has Vampiro looked to be finished. Vampiro kicked out of a pin attempt though. Vampiro then had a look of anger on his face has he just exploded. He started violently beating Tony down has the referee tried to stop him but was threatened by Vampiro. Vampiro then signaled to the back has ICP and Mikey Whipwreck ran down to the ring and Vampiro trapped Tony in the ropes and ICP and Whipwreck began beating Mamaluke to a bloody pulp. Has the end looks near, Little Guido, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stamboli, and Big Vito rush the ring and attack Vampiro, ICP and Mikey Whipwreck. Stamboli and Palumbo are beating down ICP outside the ring. Big Vito gets Tony out of the ropes and Big Vito and Little Guido take down Whipwreck and Vampiro until they are motionless. Tony Mamaluke is thrown over Vampiro by Big Vito and gets the 1...2...3! [COLOR="Blue"]Little Guido Maritato: This is just an example of what will happen if you **** with the F....B...I![/COLOR] The FBI stands in the ring has Guido is holding up the United States belt and Tony is holding up the Television belt. The FBI are officially back in the ECW! This match was a brutal. Raven took the upper hand immediately in this one. Raven was determined to win this one and you could tell. Sabu went to do a running jump from a chair onto Raven but Raven countered with a bodyslam. Raven then beat Sabu down with the chair that got over big with the crowd. Has Sabu managed to get back up Raven had a singapore cane waiting for him and connected right to the head. Raven then goes to pick Sabu up has Sabu counters with several kicks to the midsection of Raven. Sabu then takes the cane and starts beating Raven down with it. Sabu then has Raven in the corner and sets a chair up. He goes to run and jump but Raven moves and Sabu catches himself. He goes to turn and nail a jumping clothesline from the top ropes has Raven catches him and BAM! hit's an Evenflow DDT. Raven goes for the cover, 1...2...3!
