USPW: When Sam Strong wants the absurd...
As a side question... do you guys find the pictures of the wrestlers useful at all? I'm toying around with the idea of not using the images future cards, but am just wondering what folks think.
I personally don't use them, but that is only because I am too lazy to take the time to upload them and then post them for my writeups, not because I don't like them. I agree they are useful for breaking up long text entries and you might just use them for the matches themselves as the picture doesn't need to be used for every segment that person is involved in.

Wanda Fish vs. ??? A few more wins to come before she gets in the ring with Kelsey Jim Force vs. Mick Muscles Mick has an upside, the FOOOOOOOORCE is just there as comedy value. Captain USA vs. Danny Rushmore for the USPW National Title Squash Peter Valentine vs. Fox Mask Valentine has a world title match to come, Fox doesn't Warlord Pain vs. Java vs. Demon Anger Anger for the win - challengers tend to get the wins before the big show. Freddie Datsun vs. T-Rex You have still gotta put some poeple that CAN actually wrestle - even if it IS USPW! Bruce the Giant vs. Fumihiro Ota (non title) Even though he's the heel, I'd love to see Ota win, but Brucie takes it, despite Valentine (and probably several others) helping Ota.

USPW American Wrestling Wednesday, Week 4 February 2007 Location: Pennsylvania Park Attendance: 1728 [Kelsey Campbell is walking backstage with DAVE roster members Art Reed and The Wolverine.] Campbell: Once again, I want to welcome you gentlemen to our show tonight. Thanks for coming! [The Wolverine has a nasty look on his face and gives a half-nod. Art Reed responds.] Reed: You’re welcome. It’s our pleasure to be here tonight, thanks for inviting us. Campbell: Anytime. Reed: So, what do you have lined up on the card tonight? Campbell: Well, we have a triple threat singles match between members of Savage Fury, the Demons of Rage, and Lords of War. And Valentine is going to take on Fox Mask, and Bruce... The Wolverine:...the Giant. Campbell: Yes, Bruce the Giant. [Apparently, the Wolverine was not finishing Campbell’s sentence. Instead, she looks up and notices that Bruce the Giant is standing chest to nose with the Wolverine. The Wolverine has a nasty look on face as he stares at Bruce. Bruce looks unbothered. This could be because he’s a nearly impervious giant or because he realizes that the Wolverine always has this look on his face.] Campbell: Hey Bruce! I want you to meet Art Reed and the Wolverine. They’re from DAVE. Bruce the Giant: Hi Ms. Campbell. You have strange little mates. The Wolverine: Who ya’ calling strange, bub? [Bruce smiles and pats the Wolverine on the head. He doesn’t look overly happy with this development, but Art Reed pats on him the back, in something of a calming gesture.] Campbell: So, Bruce, are you ready for your match against Ota tonight? Bruce the Giant: Sure. I'll smash a little ninja tonight `n` Valentine in a couple of days. Seems like a good week ta me. Campbell: That’s good Bruce. I’m going to show our guest around a bit more, talk to you later on, ok? [Bruce nods. And pats the Wolverine on the head again.] Kelsey Campbell introduces The Wolverine and Art Reed to Bruce the Giant. Rating: C
[Wanda Fish is in the ring. She’s again dressed for wrestling and has a microphone in hand.] Fish: Ladies and gentlemen, once again, it is time for the open male challenge. Last week I ran through the Tic. The week before that, I destroyed Kashmir Singh. So, boys… any takers? [As Wanda stands in the ring with a conceited smirk on her face, Eric the Bull stumbles through the entrance curtain in much the same fashion that the Tic did last week. Unfortunately for Eric the Bull, his situation may be worse, as Fumihiro Ota and Rhino Umaga appear behind him. Ota and Umaga beat Eric the Bull and force him into the ring..] Fish issues the "open male" challenge again, Eric the Bull “accepts” Rating: D-

As soon as he reached a vertical base, Fish drilled him in the back of the head with a solid looking Dish of the Day which sent Eric right back down to the mat. Fish blew a kiss to Ota and Umaga (who were still ringside), then covered Eric for a quick and easy victory. But we must not forget the grave threat to democracy that is the Dark Cure! Force: Indeed Captain of the USA FORCE! The Towers of Power are definitely not in touch with the FORCE as they have used most underhanded tactics to steal my National Title! But the Anti-American FORCE haters named the Dark Cure are also to blame, for they have caused a disturbance in the FORCE! Captain USA: So many problems, so few of us. Jim, how can we go about taking care of Towers of Power in singles matches tonight and battling the propaganda of the Dark Cure? Force: I would not worry, Captain of the USA FORCE. I am certain that the FORCE will provide us with some sort of solution! [Enter Nicky Champion and Happy Elwood.] Champion: Captain USA! Jim Force! You guys, along with Sam Strong, are our inspiration for wrestling! We’ll help you out! Force: See? Elwood: We’ve decided to call ourselves American Spirit! Jim Forces vs. Mick Muscles vs. This a shortened version of a typical Jim Force match. In other words, his opponent, Mick Muscles controls things for a good portion of the match, and then Jim Force feels the Force! He shakes the ring ropes and becomes invincible, then he put away Muscles with a Full Force slam. Jim Force defeated Mick Muscles in 3:45 by pinfall with a Full Force. Rating: D+
American Spirit vs. The Dark Cure vs. w/ American Spirit came out on fire and in a short 3 man brawl, completely dominated Citizen X (Black Eagle decided to not enter the ring). After being forced out of the ring, the Dark Cure regrouped, hoped back in and took a “do over”. Citizen X worked the majority of the match for the Dark Cure, although Black Eagle did enter the ring for a few high spots here and there. The match finally ended after a short exchange between Black Eagle and Happy Elwood, in which Black Eagle scored a quick and unexpected pin by using the ropes for leverage. They are standing in the production room, where busy USPW worker-bee’s are ensuring that things, are, well, being produced. A voice is heard from behind.] Voice: I’ve been looking everywhere for you! [And “Sex Driven” Thomas Morgan runs into the scene.] Morgan: Babe, it feels like you’ve been avoiding me for the last couple of weeks. [Campbell doesn’t respond.] The Wolverine: Bub, we’re a bit busy here. [Morgan looks at the Wolverine with contempt.] Morgan: Excuse me? Why don’t you two buzz off and get to work! Our lovely commissioner shouldn’t have to baby-sit you while you’re at work! The Wolverine: Do you know who I am?!? Morgan: A short electrician with a bad haircut? The Wolverine: That’s it! You’re done bub! [Wolverine tries to step forward and grab Morgan, but Art Reed steps between. Reed shakes his head at the Wolverine, as if to say "it's not worth it.".] Campbell: Gentlemen… if you’ll excuse me for a second. [Reed nods to Campbell, who grabs Morgan by the arm. She leads him out of the room, down the hall, and into another room. She closes the door behind her.] Morgan: Just what I thinking baby, a little private time… [Morgan steps forward, as if to stroke Campbell’s hair. Instead, however, she shoves the young wrestler and points a finger directly in his face.] Campbell: You will not... NOT embarrass me in front my guests! Now… cut it out! And leave me alone! [Campbell then exists, slamming the door behind her. The camera zooms in on Morgan, who has a giant, cheesy smile on his face.] Morgan: I like it when she’s frisky! Overall, Rushmore and Captain USA put on a respectable (by USPW standards) match, which ended when Rushmore rolled up Captain USA (who was distracted by Mick Muscles.) [Frankie Perez is in the ring and he has a microphone.] Perez: So tonight, I show up and get ready to wrestle. And guess what, Frankie Perez doesn’t have a match. Once again, the undefeated rookie superstar of the USPW is being overlooked. [Perez nods, while the crowd boos.] Perez: Instead of giving Frankie Perez a match tonight… our commissioner is busy giving a backstage tour to a couple of rejects from DAVE! [We’re in DAVE country, so, naturally, this goes over poorly.] Perez: Like they are more important than me! I mean, you have the “Wolverine”… an old has been that doesn’t even get face time on DAVE television anymore. And Art Reed… oh, he’s just a glimmering story of success. That guy couldn’t wrestle his way out of paper back! [Now the crowd is really letting Perez have it.] Perez: Are you guys offended? Well, get over it! Because those two chumps suck! That’s right, they suck! [The crowd pops, as suddenly the Wolverine bursts through the entrance curtain. Art Reed is right behind the Wolverine.] Perez: Oh, you want some old man? I have no problems beating your old ass right here, right now! [The Wolverine nods and it’s obvious that he’s accepting the challenge. He continues to try to advance towards the ring, but Art Reed is holding him back. Finally, Reed appears to calm the Wolverine. Reed slaps him on the shoulder, nods, and says something inaudible to the home audience to the DAVE veteran. Art Reed then enters the ring.] Perez: What, the old guy afraid to get in the ring? [Reed takes the microphone from Perez.] Reed: No, he’s not afraid to get in the ring. It’s just that… well, it’s just that… Perez: It’s just what? Reed: It’s just that… I told him that I’d handle you! [Perez takes a second to absorb this information, which is a second too long to stop Reed from clubbing Perez with a stiff right hand.] Perez is upset that the DAVE starts are getting more attention than him. Rating: D
Frankie Perez vs. Art Reed vs. A referee hits the ring and yet another match is sanctioned on the fly by the USPW. Reed maintains his momentum for the first part of the match and basically unloads on Perez with a wide variety of suplexes and slams. Perez is not without resources, however, and after ducking a clothesline, manages to capture the momentum with a well placed superkick. At this point, Perez has things under control. After softening Reed up a bit, Perez whips him into the corner. Perez lifts Reed up onto the turnbuckle and is obviously looking for a Perfect Parity. Reed shoves Perez off. Perez bounces off the mat and is almost instantly on his feet. Reed stands up, apparently looking for an aerial maneuver of some sort, but Perez quickly dropkicks his left shin, which results in Reed being crotched across the top rope. Perez again goes for a Perfect Parity and this time succeeds. Frankie Perez defeated Art Reed in 5:56 by pinfall with a Perfect Parity. Rating: C-

In the background, about 20 feet away, Fumihiro Ota and Rhino Umaga are facing each other. If I didn’t know better, I would say that the Samoan and Ninja were also having a conversation.] Sneer: So, you’re sure we can depend on him? Fish: Absolutely. I don’t know why you have such a problem communicating with Rhino. [Sneer looks at her as if to say “because he doesn’t speak English and, actually, only yells Samoan." Fish and Sneer then walk to Umaga and Ota.] Fish: See you guys in a bit, ok? [Ota and Umaga nods. Fish then exits the scene. Sneer now speaks to his male charges.] Sneer: Ok, so here’s what we’re going to do… [Ota stares off into the distance, while Umaga continues to look in the direction that Fish just left in.] Sneer: We’re going to go out there and… are either of you listening? [Ota continues to stare off, in his ninja/monk/whatever trance like state. Umaga hears Sneer, snarls and begins to yell.] Umaga: OWE TEH MARNAR O IH SEH EEAH! [And in a move that should be familiar now, Sneer begins to back up, while Umaga advances towards him.] Sneer: Oh great. Umaga: OWE TEH MARNAR O IH SEH EEAH! Sneer: Uh... Wanda? Peter Valentine vs. Fox Mask vs. Valentine used his power against Fox Mask as the match started and easily tossed around the smaller wrestler. Typically, Valentine let this go to his head, as he started to flex to the booing crowd after executing basic moves (like body slams, clotheslines, etc.) Fox Mask capitalized on Valentine’s arrogance and took control of the match. Fox Mask was able to get off a couple of big high-flying moves, but his momentum came to a screeching halt, when Valentine caught the high flier midair, turned him over, and hit the Heart Breaker. Peter Valentine defeated Fox Mask in 4:52 by pinfall with a Heart Breaker. Rating: D
Java vs. Demon Anger vs. Warlord Pain vs. vs. This was a typical three-way match (meaning a mixture of one-on-one while one guy is hurt and a bit of double teaming), except for the fact that it was extremely short. The end of the match came after Warlord Pain, who never really looked good tonight, was removed from the ring by Java’s Greeting from the Island. Java then turned to face Demon Anger, but the veteran was ready for him and scooped him up and hit a Demon Slam. Did you see how I manhandled Fox Mask? [The Masked Mauler and Boone nod.] Valentine: Ok, next up, T-Rex… I need you to take out Datsun. After that, we’ll all hit the ring following Bruce’s match and take him out. Hopefully, Ota will soften him up and we’ll finish him off, and my match with Bruce at Red, White, and Blue will be a formality. [T-Rex shakes his head.] Valentine: What? T-Rex: I’m not attacking Bruce anymore. In fact, I’m not doing any of your dirty work anymore. Week in and week out, I run out there and try to help make you look good. And sure, you spot me some money here and there… but it’s always about you! And it’s the same, we rush the ring and Bruce and Freddie and Alex kick our asses! Well, I’m not doing it anymore! Valentine: What do you mean you’re not doing it anymore? You have to wrestle Datsun tonight! T-Rex: And I will. But not because you want me to… I’m wrestling Datsun tonight because I’m scheduled to. And then I’m going home! I’m tired of being a punching bag for that big ass Australian just so you can be world champion. [T-Rex starts to walk away.] Valentine: What? I own you! You can’t walk away! I own you! [But, T-Rex does walk away.] Valentine tries to pump up his troops, but T-Rex quits. Rating: D+

T-Rex obliged and then pulled Datsun in and planted him with a short clothesline. Apparently, T-Rex is only tired of working for Valentine, he’s not tired of being a heel. T-Rex pressed the assault and used a variety of power moves to try to finish Datsun. Finally, T-Rex attempted to use a bear hug to put away Datsun. It looked like it was going to work, but the crowd started chanting “Datsun! Datsun!”, which seemed to reenergize Freddie. Freddie then escaped the bear hug via a series of short punches to T-Rex’s head, then dropped the big man with running forearm shot. Datsun then powered T-Rex up again, and dropped him with a Patriot Press. And with that, Datsun was victorious again over T-Rex, in this ugly rematch from Stars, Stripes, and Slams. Sneer is on the microphone.] Sneer: It is my pleasure to announce my newest client… Rhino Umaga! [The crowd doesn’t respond strongly to Umaga, until he freaks out and yells various things in his native tongue, which earns him a few boos.] Sneer: And to celebrate this signing… I’m here to issue a challenge. And I can’t think of anyone better to challenge than Campbell’s trusted and loved wrestling consultant… Steve Flash… get out here! And it should be that you really, really trust… because on behalf of my clients, I’m challenging you to a tag team match! That’s right, Rhino Umaga… and Fumihiro Ota versus you and a partner of your choice. That is, assuming that you can find anyone crazy enough to team up with you! [Flash nods.] Flash: Oh, don’t worry about that. I’ll find someone to team up with…and if I don’t, I’ll take on both of you goons at once. Sneer: So, you accept? Flash: Of course I accept. You and your merry band of hookers, brutes, and thieves aren’t going to bully me around. I just thought I’d make it official. This match will happen. But it won’t happen tonight… [The crowd is not happy.] Campbell: And it’s not happening tonight, because Fumihiro Ota already has a match. And his match is next… and it’s against Bruce the Giant! [Now the crowd is happy. Take that fickle fans.] Campbell: So, instead… we’ll have this match at Red, White, and Blue. Ota and Umaga… against Flash and a partner of his choice. [Sneer and Flash seem happy with this.] Campbell: And I’m just going to lay this out now… if Steve Flash can’t find a partner in time, and he wants one… then I’ll be his partner at Red, White, and Blue! [Sneer and Fish think that this outcome would be most excellent, and are letting Campbell know by their snickers and laughter. Umaga and Ota are either oblivious to this announcement or simply do not care that they might be across the ring from the USPW’s female commissioner.] [Steve Flash, well, he’s a different story. The referee stands between Bruce and Ota, however, and Bruce is allowed to continue on.] Bruce the Giant: Calm down there, karate pants. I'll smash ya in a second. [The crowd pops, excited about seeing Bruce smash Kar.. Fumihiro Ota.] Bruce the Giant: First, I want ta talk about smashing Peter Valentine. Peter Valentine is a cheater. And he hurt Sey-duck-shin. But now he has ta face Bruce again at Red, White, `n` Blue. And he has ta face Bruce in a cage, so he won't be able ta cheat `n` use weapons `n` hurt women. And not just a little a smashing... I'm going ta have smash ya a lot. And probably hurt ya a bit too. Bruce the Giant vs. Fumihiro Ota vs. w/ Ota is a crafty ninja and targeted Bruce’s legs with his sneaky back attack. Several low dropkicks and swift, slapping leg kicks hobbled the big guy. Ota still had trouble getting Bruce onto the ground, but did manage to get the champion to a knee following a seated dropkick to the back of Bruce’s knee. Ota then made the mistake of trying to pummel Bruce down, but his swift martial arts assault to the torso and head didn’t drop the big guy, who simply shoved Ota down with a single hand. Ota immediately kipped up and charged Bruce again, but Bruce shoved Ota down again. Bruce then struggled to his feet as Ota sprung up again. Ota charged Bruce, but ran into a massive big boot, which placed this match firmly in Bruce’s control. The pair didn’t really seem to click, but the crowd really enjoyed watching Bruce tossing around the smaller Ota. Ota’s size and skills made Bruce’s offense that much more enjoyable to watch, as Bruce really could fling Ota around as if it were nothing. Following a series of power moves, Bruce called for the Giant Choke Slam. Ota, was ready for it, however, and countered with a forward thrust to Bruce’s throat. He followed this up with another slapping and stiff leg kick to the back of Bruce’s leg, which sent the big guy hobbling and growling in pain. Ota then sprung to the top rope and clipped Bruce with a flying sidekick, which stunned the big guy, but didn’t quite put him down. Ota went to the well again and again sprung to the top rope. Ota leaped towards Bruce, apparently attempting another flying sidekick, but the champion caught Ota (awkwardly) by his left leg and throat, pulled the ninja way into the sky, and then drove him down into the mat with a modified version of his Giant Choke Slam. Bruce the Giant defeated Fumihiro Ota in 6:37 by pinfall with a Giant Choke Slam. Rating: C-

He’s almost to the entrance ramp, when Valentine steps through the curtain with Seduction. Seduction, who is being held by the arm, has obviously been crying for a bit, as her makeup is smeared around her eyes. As soon as Bruce sees this, he starts to charge towards Valentine.] Valentine: Hold it there big guy! You attack me and we might… accidently hurt Seduction. [Bruce stops in his track.] Valentine: Now, listen here Bruce. I’m not here to fight. We have a fight a few days. And, at Red, White, and Blue, you’ll be handing that title over to me. [The crowd begins to boo.] Valentine: So, no, I’m not here to fight. I’m here… [Madman Boone and the Masked Mauler appear behind Bruce and attack him. Bruce is startled by the attack and Boone and the Masked Mauler do a good job of keeping the world champion off balance.] Valentine: ...because you’re so gullible! I knew that you wouldn’t attack me with her here! And now… and now… look at you! [Madman Boone and the Masked Mauler have managed to get Bruce down to one knee. Bruce is sort of still defending himself, but really, this is basically a mugging at this point.] Valentine: That’s it guys! Work him down! Work him down to the ground! Hahahaha…uugh! [Valentine’s maniacal laughter is cut short by a chair shot to the back, delivered by Alex Braun, who just sprung through the entrance curtain. The force of the blow sends Valentine and Seduction to the ground, although Seduction is no longer in Valentine’s grasp.] [Boone and the Mauler see Braun and attack. The Masked Mauler is a non-factor, as Braun quickly lays him out with a chairshot. Boone tackles Braun directly after the chair shot, forcing Braun to release the chair as he brawls on the ground with Boone. Seduction crawls over to Bruce, who is now back on his feet.] [Bruce looks back to Braun and Boone, who are now actually brawling back towards the ring. Bruce apparently decides that Braun has things under control, as he turns his attention to the just now rising Peter Valentine. As Valentine gets to his feet… Bruce loudly slaps a chokehold across his throat, then delivers a massive Giant Choke Slam on the entrance ramp, much to the crowd’s pleasure. Meanwhile, closer to the ring, a giant thud is heard as Braun whips Boone into the ring steps.] Post-match mayhem featuring Bruce the Giant, Peter Valentine, the Masked Mauler, Madman Boone, Seduction and Alex Braun Rating: C- [Fade to the USPW logo.]

The Dark Cure has been threatening to cut out the cancer that is American imperialism since arriving in January, but have met stiff resistance in the form of Captain USA. Now that he has Jim Force beside him, can the Dark Cure still hope to “cure” America?
Frankie Perez vs. The Wolverine
Perez scored a tough victory over Art Reed last week and now the the Danger and Violence Extreme Veteran, Wolverine steps into the USPW ring to take on the arrogant, yet successful, Frankie Perez. This decision seemed clear cut after the Demons of Rage went over Savage Fury earlier in the month, but USPW Commissioner Kelsey Campbell was not convinced due to the nature of the victory. Now, both teams get a chance the Lords of War in an elimination match. Will we crown new tag team champions?
Alex Braun vs. Madman Boone
Originally, these two started fighting because Braun (rightfully) mocked Madman Boone’s cooking abilities. Since then, the hardcore wrestlers have been sucked into the Bruce-Valentine storyline, but have still been at each other’s throat each and every week. Now, they finally step into the ring together. Or will Bruce get redemption for both his loss and Seduction’s assault at Stars, Stripes, and Slams?

Thanks for all of the predictions and comments. I want to respond to some of the predictions from the last two shows, but it's best if I wait until I post this one (as to not accidently spoil the results). As usual, feedback of any sort is welcome and appreciated. I'm guessing that this show will probably not be up until Thursday, as this week looks crappily busy for me and this show is likely to take longer to write than the standard weekly event.
He's semi-active. It's possible that I did that, although I don't remember changing his status. For DAVE, he's being pushed as a road agent.
He starts as semi active in the default data, but DAVE do always push him as a Road Agent. he's rubbish either way though, but has some nice overness to give away to younger wrestlers! Predictions: Art Reed vs. Danny Rushmore for the USPW National Title Really not sure about this one. Art is by far the better wrestler, but I can't see you giving a title to someone who is only on loan, so I'll go with Danny, with Art being kept strong. The Forces of America vs. The Dark Cure Black Eagle is the class in this match. Frankie Perez vs. The Wolverine Squash The Lords of War vs. Savage Fury vs. Demons of Rage in a triple threat tag team elimination match for the USPW World Tag Team titles Gotta stick with the champs for this one - you have more heel challengers, so best keep a face team as champs. Alex Braun vs. Madman Boone Totally random selection Steve Flash + Partner vs. Fumihiro Ota and Rhino Umaga Don't think the partner is going to be Kelsey just yet, Ota and Rhino are younger and so get the win here. Bruce the Giant vs. Peter Valentine for the USPW World Title in a steel cage Valentine is NOT world champ material.

Campbell: Have you thought about my offer? Flash: Of course. Campbell: And what do you think? Flash: I’m not sure that it’s a good idea. Campbell: Steve… I’m trained as a professional wrestler. I’ve competed before. I’m in great shape. [The camera, conveniently, zooms up and down Campbell’s body. She is in great shape.] Flash: How long has it been since you’ve been in the ring/ Campbell: It’s been a little over three years, but… [Flash continues.] Flash: And have you ever wrestled against men? Campbell: Well, no, but… Flash: Listen, no offense Kelsey. I appreciate everything that you’ve done for me here. And I really appreciate your offer. But you could get hurt and I’m just not sure that it’s a good idea. [Campbell appears slightly offended, but doesn’t respond. I appreciate the changes that you are trying to make. And, before I forget, I appreciate you giving me the match with T-Rex last month at Stars, Stripes, and Slams. I support what you stand for and I like how you pursue your goals. You’ve helped me in the past, now I’d like to return the favor. [Campbell and Flash exchange glances.] Campbell: Are you saying…? [Datsun nods.] Datsun: Yeah, I’m volunteering to be Steve’s partner tonight. What do you say? Jillefski: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to USPW Red, White, and Blue! I’m Danny Jillefski and, as always, I’m joined by the lovely Sara Silver! And wow, what an announcement to start things off! Silver: That was huge news, Danny. Freddie Datsun completely changes the complexion of that big team match later tonight! Jillefski: That’s right. Tonight, we’ll have Freddie Datsun and Steve Flash taking on Fumihiro Ota and Rhino Umaga! And in our main event, we’re going to see Bruce the Giant and Peter Valentine in a steel cage! [A United States Flag appears on the video wall. A chorus of children is heard over the speakers. They say… “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.” And then, the pledge fades into Stars and Stripes Forever, by John Philip Sousa.] Jillefski: And that means it’s time for our first match of the evening! The Forces of America are taking on the Dark Cure! [Captain USA appears through the entrance curtain, waving an American flag that is attached to a five foot pole. Jim Force soon appears beside Captain USA, and Force’s face paint is red, white, and blue.] Silver: The Forces of America look pumped tonight! [The Forces of America approach the ring at different paces. Jim Force rushes to the ring, slapping hands with the fans as he goes. Captain USA takes his time going to the ring, stopping every so often to wave Old Glory.] Jilefski: And that’s because this is the culmination of a big struggle for these two factions. The Forces of America have been greatly offended by the anti-American message of the Dark Cure, but, as of yet, have been unable to gain any real momentum against them. [Stars and Stripes Forever begins to die down. Now in the ring, Captain USA takes position in the center of the ring and begins to happily wave the American flag. As he waves the flag, he begins to chant “U..S..A…U..S..A.” Jim Force assists the chant, but running from ringside to ringside, and screaming “USA FORCE” as he violently shakes the ring ropes.] Silver: Not only that, but this feud with the Dark Cure cost Jim Force the USPW National Title! [Drum-heavy industrial rock begins to play over the arena’s sound system. The video wall again flashes to life with an American flag, but this flag is upside down. An black anarchy sign begins to flash on the screen.] Jillefski: How do you figure? Jim Force cost Jim Force the National Title! [The Dark Cure walk through the entrance curtain. Citizen X walks out first in his wrestling gear, wearing his usual unhappy scowl. Raven Nightfall follows, wearing a tight, short black leather skirt, a cleavage revealing black corset, fishnets and high black boots. Black Eagle, in full wrestling gear, is the last to walk through the entrance curtain. As usual, his mask hides much of his expression. His eyes appear unnaturally emotionless, as he stares at the ring. Citizen X walks a bit ahead, then turns and kneels the Black Eagle. Raven Nightfall collapses next to Black Eagle, holding on his to leg and looking up with an expression of pure worship. Black Eagle does not look at either of his teammates. Instead, he stares ahead to the ring.] Silver: I seem to remember interference from both Mick Muscles and the Dark Cure in both the title match and the rematch. In my opinion, if Force had a clean shot at Danny Rushmore, he’d still be the National Champion! [The Dark Cure are approaching the ring. Citizen X walks in front, arguing and bickering with the fans as he approaches the ring. Raven Nightfall and Black Eagle are a short distance behind the Citizen X. Black Eagle continues to wear his emotionless expression. Raven Nightfall walks beside him, holding on his arm, shaking her hips in an exaggerated and sexual fashion.] Jillefski: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Enough about Force! What about the Dark Cure? They look like they’re here for business tonight! And wow, Raven looks amazing! [Citizen X and Black Eagle now enter the ring. Citizen X is immediately begins to berate the Forces of America, while the Black Eagle leans against the turnbuckle. Raven Nightfall adopts a position outside the ring, in the corner of X and Eagle. The referee quickly works to get a man from both teams in the ring and the other on the apron.] Silver: If by amazing, you mean slutty… then yes, Raven looks amazing. Forces of America vs. Dark Cure vs. w/ Citizen X and Captain USA start this match off. Captain USA dominates Citizen X for a bit, which sends X in the corner to regroup. X tries his hand with Captain USA again, but Cap’ is on his game and again bests Citizen X with a combination of clotheslines and body slams. Jim Force enters the ring and Citizen X is pummeled with another clothesline, then a running forearm, and yet another body slam. The Forces of America continue to make quick tags and work on Citizen X, and score near falls with a number of maneuvers, including a double suplex. Citizen X makes it to his corner a couple of times and looks for the tag, but Black Eagle shakes his head at X, and simply points him back into action. Raven Nightfall eventually made her presence known in the match, by hoping up on the apron and distracting the referee and Captain USA. Cap’ rushed over to force her down, which gave Citizen X just enough of a breather so that he could land a nasty low blow from behind. Both men went for tags at this point, and Black Eagle finally entered the match. Cap’ also made the tag to Jim Force. Black Eagle, in his first in-ring role that didn’t result in an immediate disqualification or cheating, absolutely dominated Jim Force. Force tried his usual repertoire of clotheslines, punches, and kicks, but Black Eagle countered each of these moves. Eventually, Jim Force felt the FORCE, but even that didn’t give him a significant advantage over Black Eagle, who discovered, with another timely assist by Raven Nightfall, that the FORCE is weak against low blows. After this, Black Eagle drilled Jim Force with a nasty enzuigiri and then used a beautiful dropkick to send Captain USA to the ringside area. Black Eagle then went up top and hit the New Jersey Turnpike, picking up the win for his faction. The Dark Cure defeated The Forces of America in 5:16 when Black Eagle defeated Jim Force by pinfall with a New Jersey Turnpike. Rating: D- Jillefski: The Dark Cure pick up a big win of the Forces of America! And Black Eagle looked absolutely dominant! Silver: It’s true, he looked good, but it’s kind of interesting that he only entered the ring once during the entire match. Citizen X was in the ring for the majority of the match and he took a ton of damage for his team. Jillefski: Black Eagle is simply very selective, that’s all. The big question is what will the Forces of America do now? They simply have not been able to slow the Dark Cure!
[As soon as the participants of the previous match have left the ring, a graphic appears on the video wall hyping the fact that the next match is for the USPW National Title.] Jillefski: Looks like it’s time for the USPW National Championship match, and honestly Sara, I’m not sure that I agree with this match up! [Art Reed’s music begins to play over the arena’s sound system. A short highlight clip of Reed’s work in DAVE begins to play on the screens.] Silver: Why’s that, Danny? [Art Reed walks through the entrance curtain to a surprisingly good pop. He plays to the crowd a bit as he walks to the ring.] Jillefski: I’m just not sure that Reed deserves this title match! [Reed enters the ring.] Silver: Why do you say that? Art Reed is a phenomenal wrestler and put on an excellent match against Frankie Perez last week! [The Towers of Power music and video package starts. The video package highlights both Mick Muscles and Danny Rushmore and includes images of them holding up the USPW National Title together.] Jillefski: But he lost! He lost to Perez! Why isn’t Perez getting this shot tonight? [Danny Rushmore and Mick Muscles walk through the entrance curtain. Rushmore is in his wrestling gear, while Muscles is in street clothes (which, oddly enough, includes a muscle shirt).] Silver: I think that might have something to do with Perez’s attitude! [The Towers of Power slowly approach the ring. Rushmore is doing his best to adopt an overly confident, arrogant look. Muscles, on the other hand, is constantly running his mouth, telling the fans that “The Towers of Power are the greatest USPW National Champions of all time!”] Jillefski: The Towers of Power look confident tonight! And I’m expecting them to have a great title reign! [The Towers of Power enter the ring. Rushmore raises the title to the crowd, which results in the expected chorus of boos. Muscles then tries to stand on the ringside apron, but the referee forces him off, informing him that this is not a tag team or handicap match.] Silver: Uh, Danny… you do know that the National Title is a single’s belt, right? Rushmore is the champion. I’m not sure what Muscles has been doing over the last few weeks! Art Reed vs. Danny Rushmore for the USPW National Title vs. w/ Mick Muscles provided an immediate distraction which Rushmore took advantage of to control the first part of the match. In typical Art Reed style, Rushmore was allowed to get off a lot of impressive moves that Reed sold well. Even with his low momentum, Reed still managed to make Rushmore look good throughout this match. About 4 minutes in, Reed blocked two vertical suplex attempts, and connected with an inverse Russian leg sweep (Dark Matter). Reed went for the cover, but Muscles distracted the referee and Reed. Rushmore struggled to his feet and went for a big right hand, but Reed ducked it, gave Rushmore a boot to the midsection, and planted him with a DDT. Reed continued to build up momentum from here, as he followed the DDT up with a double under hook suplex, then a fisherman suplex (which received a two count), and a German suplex (which scored a long two count). Muscles again hopped onto the ring apron and threatened to enter the ring, which again distracted the referee and Reed. This allowed Rushmore to slowly, painfully get to his feet. When Muscles finally got off the apron, Reed turned around and was planted with a spear which scored the three count (marking the second time that Rushmore has used this… might be time for him to name this move and make it his finisher). [Morgan looks a little surprised.] Morgan: What are you mad about? [Campbell wants to respond, but she’s so dumbfounded by Morgan, that the words do not come to her. Instead, she stands there, with her mouth open. She rolls her eyes again, and shakes her head.] Morgan: Things aren’t going so hot tonight? Campbell: Are you completely oblivious or is this all a big act? Morgan: What? [Campbell sighs.] Campbell: Mr. Morgan. Morgan: Yeah, babe? Campbell: What did I say to you last week? Morgan: That you couldn’t resist me. Campbell: Wha…I didn’t… never mind! I said that you will not… NOT refer to me as toots, sexy, or babe anymore. Now, I’ve had it! Morgan: But I w… [Campbell interrupts him.] Campbell: No! I’ve had it! No more! Don’t ask me anymore questions. Don’t even talk to me! In fact, if you see me in the hall… walk the other way. Leave me alone, or I’m going to fire you. Got it? [Morgan looks completely confused and lost.] Morgan: Uh, babe are you feeling ok? [If this was a cartoon, steam would literally pump out of Campbell’s ears.] Campbell: Ugh. Godd, motherf… ugh! Just.. ugh! [Campbell, now completely frustrated, walks away from Thomas Morgan.] Campbell tells Morgan to leave her alone. Rating: D+
[Frankie Perez’s theme music begins to play and his highlight reel takes over the video screen. Clips of Perez hitting the Perfect Parity or using the P-Clutch on Nicky Champion, Happy Elwood, Stevie Grayson, Fox Mask, and Art Reed are included in the package.] Silver: Thomas Morgan just doesn’t get it, does he? [Frankie Perez walks through the entrance curtain. He makes a grand pose on the entrance ramp, then heads towards the ring.] Jillefski: I don’t see why you and Ms. Campbell have a problem with Morgan. He’s just trying to be friendly. Silver: Right. [Perez completely ignores the fans as he enters the ring. Before the ring announcer can call out his opponent, Perez takes the microphone and starts to speak.] Jillefski: Looks like Perez has something to say! Silver: Like that’s anything new. Perez: So, here I am… undefeated. The hottest prospect in the USPW. And am I getting a title match tonight?... No! [Perez shakes his head in disgust, as he paces around the ring.] Perez: No, no title shots for me. Art “I just got beat by Frankie Perez” Reed and Peter “I’m over 40, so the USPW loves me” Valentine are getting the title shots tonight. It’s a freaking joke. I mean, I just beat Art Reed. Why is he getting the title shot? [Perez nods, with a smirk on his face.] Perez: Oh, I remember. It’s because Kelsey Campbell wants to hold me down. She wants to stick me in a match with a short, angry has-been midget from DAVE. Well, that’s fine. Campbell wants me to wrestle the Wolverine… I’ll wrestle the Wolverine. And, it’ll be the same result as always. Perez wins, the competition loses, and soon or later… I’m going to get my shot. [Perez shoves the microphone back into the chest of the ring announcer.] Perez on the microphone Rating: D+
Jillefski: Everything that he said was true! The USPW really does seem to be trying to hold Frankie Perez down! [Now, the Wolverine’s music begins to play. Borrowed footage from DAVE is displayed on the video screen, showing older footage from the Wolverine’s better days.] Silver: Perez insulted the Wolverine and DAVE, in general. How can we not allow the Wolverine to have this match? [The Wolverine walks through the entrance curtain. He’s all business and is marching directly towards the ring.] Jillefski: Who cares about the Wolverine? I’m talking about Frankie Perez! [The Wolverine slides into the ring, says “screw the bell”, and immediately starts pummeling Perez.] Frankie Perez vs. The Wolverine vs. Wolverine is able to keep Perez off balance with his initial brawling onslaught for a couple of minutes. Realistically, the Wolverine is way past his prime here, and considering that Perez has something of a selling problem, it’s hard to take the Wolverine’s offense sequence too seriously. Finally, the Wolverine makes a premature attempt at the Maul, but Perez ducks under and catches the kick, then uses a T-bone suplex on the Wolverine. The rest of the match is all Perez. He systematically destroys the Wolverine, using a combination of brawling, submission holds, suplexes, and slams to punish the veteran worker. The Wolverine occasionally throws a punch at Perez, but these attacks are ineffective and Perez never really loses control of the match. Finally, after about two minutes of abuse, Perez puts the Wolverine away with a Perfect Parity. [The Lords of War’s music begins to play. The veteran tag team and current USPW World Tag Team Champions appear on the entrance ramp, play to the crowd, and enter the ring.] Jillefski: It’s time for the tag team championship match! Tonight, it’s a triple-threat match fought under elimination rules! [Savage Fury’s music begins to play, to a negligible response from the crowd. Java and Tribal Warrior walk through the entrance curtain and enter the ring.] Silver: And personally, I’m a big fan of the elimination style rules. [And finally, the Demons of Rage music begins to play. The Demons walk through the entrance curtain to a chorus of boos from the crowd.] Lords of War vs. Savage Fury vs. Demons of Rage for the USPW World Tag Team Titles Jillefski: Why is that? Silver: Because it ensures that the champions have to lose in order to lose the belts. In a standard triple threat match, the champions could lose the belts and not be involved in the decision! vs. vs. Only two competitors were allowed in the ring at any given time during this triple threat tag match, although the outside tag team could tag themselves in, when given the opportunity. Warlord Agony and Tribal Warrior started things off and set a slow, sloppy pace and tone for the rest of the match. The match was fairly open and each tag team had a minute or two of control in the early part of this contest. As you would expect, this part of the match was characterized by double team maneuvers and by the outside team tagging themselves in, much to the anger of the team that they just tagged out. Around 6 minutes in, the Lords of War picked up some serious momentum and hit the War Machine on Tribal Warrior. Java tried to break up the pinfall, but Demon Anger entered the ring and cut him off. Savage Fury was then eliminated from the match. The remaining three minutes of this match were fought between the Lords of War and the Demons of Rage. This part of the match resembled their poor brawling affair at Stars, Stripes, and Slams. The match ended after Warlord Agony received the hot tag, cleaned house, and the Lords of War hit the War Machine on Demon Spite. By this point, both the Lords of War and Demons of Rage looked exhausted. The Lords of War defeated The Demons of Rage and Savage Fury in 9:54; the order of elimination was Savage Fury first, and finally The Demons of Rage. [After the tag teams clear the area, Alex Braun’s music begins to play over the arena’s sound system. The crowd cheers in anticipation. The video wall also comes to live and several clips of Braun are shown.] Jillefski: This next match is guaranteed to be physical! [Braun walks through the entrance curtain to another pop from the crowd. He takes his time on his approach, making sure to slap hands with fans on both sides of the aisle.] Silver: That’s right, because both Braun and Boone have reputations for being hard-hitting, hardcore competitors. [Alex Braun enters the ring. Braun stretches, while he awaits his opponent.] Jillefski: Now I’ll admit, Alex Braun has looked good since debuting in the USPW in January, but I’m not sure that this is a good match up for him. [Madman Boone’s music begins to play. Interestingly, the video wall shows a combination of wrestling and cooking highlights for the crazy chef.] Silver: I’m not sure I understand, Danny. Hasn’t Braun shown that he is more than a tough match for anyone? He’s taken Bruce the Giant to the limit and scored a win over Fumihiro Ota! [Madman Boone now walks through the entrance curtain. And yes, he’s still wearing that ridiculous chef’s hat. He’s also armed this week with what appears to be a giant whisk. Seriously, this whisk is easily three feet long.] Jillefski: That’s true, but Boone does everythin… what the hell is Boone carrying? [Boone has a crazed look on his face, as he approaches the ring. He stops every few steps and stirs an imaginary pot with his overgrown whisk.] Silver: Uh, I think that’s a giant whisk. I have no idea what he’s planning to do with it though. [Boone finally enters the ring and it’s soon obvious that he wants to hit Alex Braun with this giant whisk. Boone, however, is forced to place the whisk outside of the ring, as the referee refuses to start the match with Boone equipped with a weapon.] Alex Braun vs. Madman Boone vs. There is nothing technical about this match, including the start. As soon as the bell range, Boone immediately attacks Braun, but Braun blocks and dodges Boone’s punches, while responding with several of his own. Finally, Braun sets Boone down with a nice dropkick. Boone immediately pops to his feet, but Braun sends him down with another dropkick. Braun with the early cover… . . . One!..Boone kicked out after one. Boone tries to get to his feet, but Braun drives a foot into his side, and then hits a standing leg drop. Braun goes for another cover, but Boone kicks out before the referee can drop to make the count. Braun pulls Boone to his feet and then whips him into the ropes. Braun connects with a leg lariat and Boone immediately rolls out of the ring. The referee starts the ten count, as Boone rubs his jaw. Braun isn’t content with waiting, bounces off the ropes, leaps between the top and middle ropes to the outside and takes Boone down with a flying clothesline. Boone sells the move well and actually flips over the guardrail into the crowd. Braun completely wipes out on the landing, as he collides with the guardrail. Both men are down for 5 or 6 seconds, which, in referee world, is only equivalent to a 3 count. Braun is up first and he reaches over the guardrail to pull Boone in. Boone is plaing possum, apparently, and drives a forearm into Braun’s stomach, then slames Braun’s head into the guardrail. Boone climbs over the guardrail and back into the ring side area, then slams Braun’s head into the guard rail again. Braun stumbles off to the side, holding his head, but Boone follows up and slams him face first into the ring apron. Boone slides Braun into the ring and follows him in. Boone goes for the cover… . . . One! . . T..Braun kicks out! Boone immediately mounts Braun and starts raining down punches. The referee starts the five count and warns Boone, who stops the mounted punches at 4.5. Boone pulls Braun up, drags him to the middle of the ring, and then connects with a body slam. Boone heads to the corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Boone makes a stirring motion to the crowd, then leaps off and goes for a flying knee-drop…but Braun rolls out of the way, much the crowd’s delight. Boone holds his knee, while Braun crawls to the ring ropes. Boone shakes his leg a few times, and then walks over to Braun, who is now pulling himself up by the ropes. Boone grabs Braun by the back of the head, but Braun counters with an elbow to the midsection. Braun hits two more elbows to the midsection, which to seem to hurt Boone, but Boone responds by driving an elbow into the back of Braun’s head. Boone drags his stunned foe into the center of the ring and pulls his head between his legs. Boone hoists Braun up, for what looks to be power bomb, but Braun counters with an amazing DDT. Both men are down, but Braun rolls over and drapes an arm across Boone… . . . One! . . . Two! . .Boone kicks out! Braun starts shaking off the cobwebs, as Boone rolls over, holding his head. Braun pulls Boone up, walks him into the ropes and tries and Irish whip. Boone reverses the Irish whip and goes for a short clothesline, but Braun ducks. Braun connects with a super kick which sends Boone over the top rope and once again to the outside. Braun immediately climbs the turnbuckle and waits. Boone struggles to his feet, but as soon as he does, Braun leaps off and connects with a flying double ax-handle to the outside, which drops Boone like a sack of bricks. Braun is pretty pumped up at this point, and he pulls Boone up. Braun sets Boone and suplexes him onto the ring steps, leaving Boone laying in a contorted position across the steps. Braun climbs back onto the apron. He’s measuring Boone up… and goes for a running leg drop to Boone…. But Boone but Boone moves at the last second, and resounding thud is heard as Braun has leg dropped the ring steps. This results in Braun now hanging upside down with half of his body on the ring steps. Boone staggers around for a bit, but then notices his whisk. As a crazy smile develops across his face, Boone picks up the whisk and tries to hit Braun in the head, but he misses, as Braun sits up at the last minute. Instead, Boone drills the side of the ring steps, resulting in a loud metal and metal clanging noise that is heard throughout the arena. Braun scrambles off the stairs, and apparently just in time, as Boone just misses with another swing of the whisk. Braun grabs the time keeper, flings him to the side, and picks up his steel chair. Boone takes another swing, but Braun blocks it with the chair, resulting in yet another loud clanging noise. Braun then takes a swing at Boone, who parries the chair shot with the whisk. The referee, looking on with wide-eyed bewilderment, calls for the bell and disqualifies both men… for… well, for… starting a chair vs. whisk duel? Braun looks to the referee, confused about the decision. This is a mistake, as Boone is unconcerned with the decision and drives the whisk into the side of Braun’s face, which makes both a wonderful slapping and grinding noise, thanks to the design of the whisk. He continues to do this until referees and security officials pull him off of Boone.] Madman Boone assaults Alex Braun with a giant whisk. Rating: D
Silver: That was a vicious assault by Boone! I hope that Braun’s ok! [Sneer’s music begins to play. An image of Shane Sneer appears on the video screen with his arms folded and an evil look on his face. This image becomes more and more opaque, as video of Fumihiro Ota, Rhino Umaga, and Wanda Fish play on the screen.] Jillesfki: That was a brutal assault, but I don’t that the brutality is going to stop here! This next match is going to be out of control! [Shane Sneer walks through the entrance curtain to a chorus of boos. He looks an arrogant smirk across his face. A few seconds later, Fumihiro Ota and Rhino Umaga walk through the entrance curtain and flank Shane Sneer.] Silver: How do you think that Sneer feels about Flash’s tag team partner tonight? [Sneer walks to the ring. Ota stays behind Sneer and to his right. Umaga, presumably, is supposed to stay behind Sneer and to his left, but he’s sort of all over the place, terrifying audience members, walking back and forth across the aisle, and so on.] Jillefski: Well, if I had Umaga and Ota as my team, I don’t think I’d really care who Flash’s partner was! [Ota and Umaga enter the ring. Sneer adopts a position outside the ring. As usual, Ota is very ninja like and stoic in the ring, while Umaga yells and barks out nonsense to the fans, to Ota, to Sneer, to… well, anyone that will look at him.] Silver: But this is Freddie Datsun! He’s won titles in DAVE, SWF, and here in the USPW! [Flash’s music begins to play, and as highlight reel is displayed, he walks through the entrance curtain to a larger than normal response.] Jillefski: Yeah, Datsun is great… but they’re going against a ninja and a Samoan. A freaking ninja and a freaking Samoan… how cool is that? [Flash does not approach the ring. Instead, he waits on the entrance ramp. His music begins to die off, as Datsun’s music begins to play.] Silver: Here comes Datsun! [Datsun walks through the entrance curtain and receives the largest positive response of the night (so far). Datsun and Flash exchange looks, shake hands, then start walking towards the ring.] Jillefski: And Kelsey Campbell is no where to be found! [Datsun and Flash slaps hands with the fans as they approach the ring.] Silver: But neither is Wanda Fish! But then again, considering what happened the last time those two were around each other… maybe it’s a good thing that they aren’t out here! [Before Datsun and Flash reach the ring, Umaga tries to exit the ring to attack. The referee tries his best to prevent this from happening, but Ota, at Sneer’s request, is ultimately responsible for holding back the savage Samoan.] Jillefski: No, no it isn’t a good thing. In fact, I’d go so far to say that the fact that Campbell and Fish aren’t out here is a horrible, horrible thing. Ah, the memories… Silver: You pig. Flash seemed to get the better of Ota and tagged in Datsun, who continued the assault on Ota. Datsun worked Ota over for quite a bit, until Ota turned things around with a sneaky shot to the throat. In came Umaga and he absolutely ran over Datsun with his mixture of brawling, power, and technique (which, mind you, is a scary mixture). Ota and Umaga continued to dominate the vast majority of the match, as they cut off the ring, make semi-frequent tags (Ota had trouble getting Umaga to tag out), and used a couple of spiffy double team maneuvers. Eventually, Flash scored a much needed counter, when he turned a flying cross body by Ota into a fall away slam. Both men were down and looking for the tag. Ota tagged in Umaga and Datsun tagged in Flash, and in a deviation from the norm, Umaga came in on fire (and thus, if we were to say there was a hot tag… it was his). Umaga dominated Flash for a couple of minutes, but couldn’t seem to get the pinfall. Sneer then hopped on the apron to distract the referee and Ota came into the ring illegally and he and Umaga double-teamed Flash. Datsun, still reeling from his duties as a punching bag earlier in the match, found a second wind, entered the ring, snatched up Ota and planted him with a Patriot Press. Sneer then pointed the referee back to the action and told him to get Datsun out of the ring. The referee couldn’t immediately comply; however, as Datsun had already powered Umaga onto his shoulders, obviously looking for another Patriot Press, but the surprisingly agile Samoan slipped out the back and hit the Rhino Charge on Datsun. During this time, however, Flash managed to get to his feet. Umaga turned around right into a Flash Bang. Flash then got the cover and pinned Rhino Umaga. Fish just planted Flash with a Dish of the Day from behind! And Sneer is as happy as can be! Silver: And this does not look good for Flash and Datsun! [Indeed it does not, as Ota and Umaga are already up.] Jillefski: Ota, Umaga, and Fish laying the boots to Datsun and Flash! And I bet this will teach Datsun to stick his nose in other people’s business! Silver: Yeah, how dare he not want our commissioner to have to wrestle against a ninja and a Samoan… you know, you can be a real jerk Danny. Jillefski: Fish telling Ota and Umaga to pull Flash up… and I think we’re going to see a swordfish now! [Ota and Umaga drag Flash up and are holding him in the position for a swordfish. Ota, Umaga and Fish see her coming.] Silver: This is… not a good idea. Jillefski: Campbell rushing the ring… and she tackles Fish! And they’re brawling! Ota is pulling Campbell off! [To be fair, Campbell did land a nice looking tackle on Fish and then pummeled her with several right hands, before Ota pulled her off. And, in typical catfight fashion, Campbell and Fish refused to let go of each other’s hair, which made the separation especially difficult.] Jillefski: Ota restraining Campbell… he’s holding her in some sort of standing chicken wing, cross face maneuver! Silver: This isn’t right! Someone get out there and help her! Jillefski: Don’t look at me! [Fish now stands to her feet and she walks up to Campbell, calls her something that rhymes with ‘itch’ and delivers a hard slap to the face of the USPW commissioner.] Jillefski: Fish with a hard slap to Campbell! And another! And… oh no. Sneer telling Fish to… oh no, this might be taking things too far… Silver: She can’t… [Sneer is directing Fish to hit the Swordfish (a running seated dropkick to the head performed with heels) on Campbell. Fish smiles, as she obviously likes this idea. Umaga stares on, looking somewhat confused, as Ota forces Campbell to her knees.] Jillefski: Fish off the ropes… and …. Datsun up! And he’s between Fish and Campbell! Umaga blindsides Datsun! [Datsun saved Campbell from the Swordfish, but didn’t see the Samoan coming from behind.] Jillefski: Flash up too now! Ota releasing Campbell, and Flash and Ota are going at it! Flash just backdropped Ota out of the ring! Fish attacking Campbell again, and they’re rolling around the mat! Silver: This is completely and totally out of control… [Umaga clotheslines Datsun, who has looked extremely good in this post match segment, out of the ring. Flash then hits Umaga with a dropkick from behind, which seems to surprise (and not in a good way) Umaga, who awkwardly falls out of the ring, looking lost in the mayhem.] Jillefski: Fish is getting the better of Campbell… and now has her mounted! Fish just slapping our commissioner! Flash from behind…and he’s tapping Fish on the shoulder! [Outside the ring, Sneer is yelling at Fish to run. Fish doesn’t immediately move, but sees Sneer’s expression, then lunges forward and slides out of the ring. She looks back at Flash and starts to jaw with the USPW’s wrestling consultant.] Jillefski: Flash ignoring Fish, and he’s checking on Campbell. Datsun back in the ring with a chair… and he’s daring Sneer and his goons to enter the ring! And, to buy some time, Valentine employs every stalling trick in the book. He calls time out to tighten his boots, he asks the referee to check Bruce for weapons, he has the referee outside the ring check the door (to make sure that “Bruce doesn’t run away"), he asks Bruce to check the referee for weapons, then shakes the cage to make sure it’s sturdy. Eventually, Valentine can’t think of any other ways to stall, and has to lock up with Bruce. While the stalling was probably intended to throw Bruce off, all it seemed to do was anger the giant. Bruce powered Valentine into the corner. Valentine asked for a clean break, but the referee reminded him that there were no disqualifications in this match. Bruce re-reminded him by not giving him the clean break, and, instead, by breaking with a hard, slapping chop across his chest. Bruce follows up with another chop, and Valentine stumbles out of the corner, holding on to his chest. Valentine walks to the other corner, still grasping at his already sore chest. Bruce follows him, however, and delivers two more chops in that corner. Bruce whips Valentine across the ring into the opposite corner, then follows up with a lumbering clothesline, and another pair of stiff chops. Valentine is moaning in pain and collapses to the mat. As he struggles to get back up, giant, red marks can be seen across his chest. Bruce holds up his right fist, much to the crowd’s pleasure, and drives Valentine back down with a forearm shot to the back, just as the challenger was trying to get up. Bruce starts to pull Valentine up. Valentine finally fights back, as he throws a few back elbows into Bruce’s gut as Bruce pulls him up. The elbow shots don’t really seem to bother Bruce, as he measures Valentine… and drives him down with a big right cross. Bruce with the cover… . . . One! . . Two! But Valentine kicks out. Bruce is either trying to conserve energy or he’s just slow (probably the latter), as he takes awhile to get to his feet. Valentine uses this small break to crawl to the corner and pull himself up. Bruce stalks Valentine to the corner, where Peter meets him with a kick to the midsection and a right hand to the head. Again, these attacks seem to have no effect on Bruce, as he responds by using his left hand to push Valentine back and with a big right hand. Bruce now with another giant chop, and now a massive back elbow. Valentine stumbling out of the corner, and honestly, it’s amazing that he’s still up. Bruce isn’t a fan of a amazing moments, however, as he scoops Valentine up and drives him down with a sidewalk slam. Bruce with the cover… . . . One . . . Two . And Valentine gets a shoulder up. Bruce is up to his feet again, and Valentine is just now rolling over, unable to make any real progress towards a vertical base. The champion points at the cage and crowd cheers. Bruce pulls Valentine up by the head, then hoists him up. Bruce looking to throw Valentine face first into the cage…. But Valentine slips out the back and shoves Bruce face first into the cage. Bruce is stunned by the blow and Valentine presses on the attack, as he grabs Bruce by the back and neck and forces his face into the cage three more times. Valentine takes a breather, his energy apparently drained from Bruce’s earlier assault. Bruce stumbles about the ring, and a cut has appeared on his massive forehead. Valentine goes back on the offensive, as he starts to pepper Bruce with right hands to the forehead, apparently attempting to open the big guy up some more. Out of no where, Bruce thrusts his right hand forward and a slapping noise is made as he grasps Valentine’s throat. The challenger’s eyes practically pop out of his head as he remembers all of his previous Giant Choke Slam experiences, but then, before Bruce can power him up, Valentine delivers a swift kick to Bruce’s groin. The World Champion immediately collapses to his knees and he’s holding his groin. The referee gives Valentine a dirty look and checks on Bruce, but cannot disqualify the challenger. This seems to be an “ah ha!” revelation moment for Valentine, as an evil smile starts creep across his face. Valentine approaches Bruce, measures him up, and drives a big forearm into Bruce’s head, which sends the big leaning backwards. Bruce doesn’t quite fall, and now, Valentine has him in a headlock with his right hand and he’s driving blows into his skull with his left. After about six or seven shots, Bruce shoves Valentine away. Bruce is obviously stunned and is blinking and shaking his head, as he struggles to his feet. Valentine is back up and immediately attacks Bruce, landing a kick to the thigh, a left jab to the chin, an overhand right to the head, a kick to the midsection, and another overhand right to the head. Bruce absorbs most of these blows, although he’s selling those more now than he did in the beginning of the match. Bruce responds with a massive head butt, which drops Valentine to a knee. As Bruce wipes the blood off his face, he reaches down to pull Valentine up… but Valentine responds with an uppercut to the groin. Bruce stumbles forward, actually stepping on and over Valentine, then collapses just in front of the ropes. Valentine struggles to his feet, looks at Bruce… bounces off the ring ropes… and drills the champion in the back of the head with a running knee smash. The knee smash sends Bruce’s head through the middle and top ropes and into the steel cage. Bruce pulls back form the impact, his eyes roll into the top of his head, and he collapses backwards, finally laying flat on his back. Valentine immediately jumps on Bruce to make the cover… . . . One! . . Two! . . Thre..Bruce just gets a shoulder up! And Valentine can’t believe it! Valentine is incensed and is yelling at the referee. Bruce is still in la-la land, and it’s all that he can do to roll to one side and prop his body on his elbow. Valentine shakes his head at the referee, and opts to go back to work. He steps behind Bruce… and drives the top of his boot into Bruce’s back, making a loud slapping noise. Bruce sits up and arches in pain. Valentine stands over Bruce, pulls his head back and drives several short fists into Bruce’s head, which is now practically covered in blood. Valentine shakes his fist (because you know, it hurts to punch Bruce’s head that many times), and then delivers a stiff kick to side of Bruce’s head. The crowd pops, as Seduction has left the announcer’s table and is now standing next to the cage. She’s looking in at Bruce with obvious concern. Valentine notices Seduction and tells her that “Bruce is finished!”, to which the crowd responds with a chorus of boos. Bruce has now rolled over to his hands and knees, but he’s obviously still not all there. Valentine drives a running knee into the side of Bruce’s head, then an elbow to the back of the neck, and then a series of short, jabbing right hands, which results in Bruce collapsing back onto the mat. Valentine rolls Bruce over, which is no small feat, and goes for another cover… . . . One! . . . Two! . . . Three.NO! Bruce just gets his shoulder up. Valentine says “It doesn’t matter! Put a fork him, this pig is done!” and again, receives another chorus of boos. Seduction continues to watch with concern from ringside. Valentine takes on the considerable task of pulling Bruce the Giant to his feet. It takes awhile, but Valentine does get the big man, who is now on wobbly legs, to his feet. Valentine then grabs Bruce by the head and drags him to the side of ring where Seduction is standing. He points at Bruce and says “he’s finished”, then proceeds to slam Bruce’s head into the cage. Seduction steps closer to the cage, locking her fingers around the fence-like material. She looks up at Bruce. Valentine is now grinding Bruce’s face against the cage, and the world champion is growling in pain. Seduction is saying something to Bruce, although we can’t quite make it out. Suddenly, Bruce stops bellowing. A brilliant camera angle captures Bruce looking at Seduction, his eyes in focus and aware, despite the fact that his face is being slide back and forth across the steel cage. Viewers at home can read Seduction’s lips, as she concludes with a single word. “Please.” Bruce roars and a loud, deep “GRRARRGH” is heard throughout the arena. Valentine is startled, but continues to try to rub Bruce’s face into the mat. Bruce pushes his head away from the turnbuckle, shakes his head as if to say that he’s not going to take it anymore, and then starts violently shaking the cage. Valentine releases his head and starts to punch Bruce in the back and the back of the head, but the giant shakes of this attacks. Bruce stops shaking the cage, takes a deep breath, and turns to face Valentine, who is now back peddling. Valentine runs to the cage door and he’s begging the referees to let him out. Valentine now kicking the cage door… but Bruce has walked up behind him. Valentine gulps, realizing that this is probably going to hurt. He turns around and tries to deliver another kick to Bruce’s groin, but Bruce catches his foot, pulls him close, and lifts him over his head by his leg and torso. Bruce then hurls Valentine into the cage. Valentine bounces off the cage and onto the apron. The crowd roars in approval. Bruce pulls Valentine up again, then powers him up in a military press (which is impressive, as the challenger is no small man), then tosses him into the cage again. Valentine again bounces of the cage, hits the top rope, which seems to create a fulcrum for his body, which accelerates awkwardly into the mat. Bruce now pulls Valentine up and the crowd cheers when he slaps his massive hand around the challenger’s throat. Bruce hoists Valentine up… and drives him down with a Giant Choke Slam. Bruce with the cover… . . . One! . . . Two! . . . Three! Bruce the Giant defeated Peter Valentine in 16:07 by pinfall with a Giant Choke Slam. Part 1: Quantitative Talent Evaluation Rankings
The following rankings are based on a scoring system developed by Kelsey Campbell. The scoring system assigns a weighted point value to each wrestler that controls for a number of factors. These factors include number of wins, number of draws, average quality of opponent, average quality of angle, average match rating, push at the beginning of the month, ownership of a championship belt, number of title matches/defenses, number of matches at special events, number of televised matches, number of dark matches, skill changes, popularity changes, and rules violations.
Singles Rankings
1. Bruce the Giant (21.61) 2. Freddie Datsun (15.61) 3. Danny Rushmore (15.18) 4. Jim Force (14.50) 5. Peter Valentine (12.95) 6. Steve Flash (12.67) 7. Frankie Perez (12.64) 8. Alex Braun (12.48) 9. Fumihiro Ota (10.67) 10. Rhino Umaga (10.00)

Close: Mick Muscles (9.97), Madman Boone (9.39), Wanda Fish (9.07),
Tag Rankings
1. Lords of War (12.62) 2. Demons of Rage (11.02) 3. Dark Cure (10.32) 4. Savage Fury (9.65) 5. American Spirit (7.18)
Popularity Changes
Popularity shifts are based on in-ring fan reactions, merchandise sales, and online polls. This measure is currently not weighted, meaning that a change at higher levels of popularity is worth the same as a change from a lower level of popularity.
Popularity Increases
1. Danny Rushmore 2. Steve Flash 3. Alex Braun 4. Mick Muscles 5. Thomas Morgan
Popularity Decreases
1. T-Rex 2. Nicky Champion 3. Fox Mask 4. Stevie Grayson
Skill Increases
Skill changes are based on reports from our backstage staff and road agents. This measure is a weighted average, as certain skills are more valued to our company than others.

1. Black Eagle 2. The Tic 3. Mick Muscles 4. Jim Force 5. Rhino Umaga
Avg. Quality of Angles
Road agents ranked each angle used on television based on their perceptions, fan reactions, and intermittent online polling. This list was compiled by taking the summing all of a worker’s angle scores together and dividing the sum by the total number of angles that they participated in. Possible limitations of this measure include both the fact that secondary workers in angles receive the same score that primary workers receive and the fact that this measure might misrepresent the value of workers that participated in fewer angles.

1. Bruce the Giant 2. Mick Muscles 3. Seduction 4. Peter Valentine 5. Kelsey Campbell
Avg. Quality of Matches
Road agents ranked each match (both televised and non-televised) based on their perceptions, fan reactions, and intermittent online polling. This list was compiled by taking the sum of all the match rankings for a particular wrestler and dividing this value by the number of matches that wrestler participated in. Like the average quality of angle measure above, a significant limitation of this measure is that might misrepresent the value of workers that participate in fewer matches.

1. Fumihiro Ota 2. Freddie Datsun 3. Steve Flash 4. Bruce the Giant 5. Madman Boone
Part 2: Qualitative Talent Evaluation
Note: This section must include the current (end of the month) USPW champions. It also must include an additional random sample of 10% (rounded up) of the USPW roster. Full time tag teams are counted as a single entity. This month’s random sample was tag team heavy and includes American Spirit, Seduction, Madman Boone, The Hillbillies, and Savage Fury (for the second month in a row…).
USPW World Champion: Bruce the Giant Booking Team Report
Push: Ideally, Bruce the Giant would be used as a Main Eventer so his current position is perfect.

Booking Strategy: Based on his current push and skills, Bruce the Giant should be used as a stepping stone to give other people the solid victories that they need to put themselves into the main event scene. His own victories should come over midcarders who aren’t about to break into the upper reaches of the card, to at least keep him looking like a threat.

Titles: Bruce the Giant is the current holder of the USPW World Title. There is no problem with him holding it. He has made 6 defenses so far.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: Bruce the Giant has great Performance skills, good Rumble abilities, weak Technical abilities, and weak Flying abilities. His Entertainment skills are good, and physically he is great. Potential: He has the potential to get a lot better at Rumble Skills. He can still improve at Flying Skills. He can still improve at Technical Skills. He has the potential to get a lot better at Entertainment Skills. He is coming to his peak in terms of Physical Skills. He has the potential to get a lot better at Performance Skills. Booking Strategy: He is strongest with his Rumble skills, so booking him against other hard-hitters will play to his strengths. He is quite entertaining; he should do very well in interviews and angles. He has excellent Performance skills, and could be useful in helping train up some of our workers aren’t as good.
Commentary
Bruce continues to look strong as the USPW World Champion. He took a bit of a popularity hit in the southeast following the DQ loss to Valentine at Stars, Stripes, and Slams. While he has not quite made up that popularity loss, he remains as popular as ever every other region of the country. Despite his popularity, it must be acknowledged the Bruce has limitations in the ring. A key decision for the upcoming months is in deciding who match Bruce up with. His popularity seems to carry most matches to a D+, but with the right opponents, Bruce has had C- matches and can probably do a bit better (C or C+?).
USPW National Champion: Danny Rushmore Booking Team Report
Push: Ideally, Danny Rushmore would be used as a Midcarder, so his current position is perfect. Booking Strategy: Based on his current push and skills, Danny Rushmore should be looked at as a bridge to take our potential stars in the midcard into a spot where they can begin to start their push into the main event scene. We need him to look relatively strong for that to be effective though, so he should be given victories over weaker opponents on a regular basis. He has excellent Performance skills, and could be useful in helping train up some of our workers aren’t as good.
Commentary
The USPW National Title was moved from Jim Force to Danny Rushmore with little fan fare or build up. Jim Force was needed in the tag team scene (which is sorely lacking face tag teams) and the Towers of Power were considered less useful in the tag scene. For the time being, Mick Muscles and Rushmore will probably be presented together, as to hide Rushmore’s inability to work the microphone. In all reality though, the Towers of Power are now a part-time tag team, as Rushmore will have to appear on each USPW show to defend the National Title.
USPW World Tag Team Champions: The Lords of War Booking Team Report
Push: Both Warlord Pain and Warlord Agony should be used as Upper Midcarders, so their current positions are perfect. Booking Strategy: Based on their current push and skills, the Lords of War should be looked at as a bridge to take our potential stars in the midcard into a spot where they can begin to start their push into the main event scene. We need them to look relatively strong for that to be effective though, and so they should be given victories over weaker opponents on a regular basis. Titles: The Lords of War are the current holders of the USPW World Tag Team titles. There’s no problem with them holding the belts. They have made 3 defenses so far.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: The Lords of War have good Performance skills, decent Rumble abilities, and weak Technical and Flying abilities. Warlord Agony’s Entertainment Skills are great and physically, he is good. Warlord Pain’s Entertainment Skills are good and physically, he is great. Potential: Warlord Agony can still improve at Entertainment Skills and has the potential to get a lot better at Performance Skills. Warlord Pain can still improve at Rumble Skills, Flying Skills, Entertainment Skills, Physical Skills, and Performance Skills. Warlord Pain has the potential to get a lot better at Technical Skills. Booking Strategy: The Lords of War are strongest with their Rumble Skills, so booking them against other hard-hitters will play to their strengths. They are quite entertaining and should have no problem connecting with fans in interviews and angles.
Commentary
The Lords of War continued to dominate the weakened tag team division during February. Unfortunately, despite their legend status, they seem incapable of drawing significant attention to the division. For this and aging reasons, I suggest that we begin to look for a team for the Lords of War to drop the tag team titles to. Unfortunately, this matter is not entirely straightforward, as the Demons of Rage and Savage Fury have been unable to generate much heel heat in the tag team division.
American Spirit Booking Team Report
Push: Ideally, both Happy Elwood and Nicky Champion should be pushed as Lower Midcarders, so their current positions are perfect. Booking Strategy: Based on their current push and skills, American Spirit are basically a fixture in the midcard, who aren’t going to be rising up or falling down the rankings any time soon. They can be used to maintain a balance to our roster, being a step below the main stars, but a step above the potential stars and has-beens. Titles: American Spirit does not hold any titles at the moment and their momentum really needs improving before they should become involved in the title picture.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: American Spirit have good Performance skills and decent Entertainment skills. Happy Elwood is physically decent and has weak Rumble abilities, but decent Technical and Flying abilities. Nicky Champion is physically good and has good rumble skills, but weak technical and flying abilities. Potential: American Spirit has the potential to get a lot better at Performance Skills and have the potential to get better at Technical and Flying skills. Happy Elwood has the potential to get a lot better at Rumble, Entertainment, and Physical skills. Nicky Champion has the potential to improve at entertainment skills, but is coming to his peak in terms of Rumble and Physical skills. Booking Strategy: American Spirit lack charisma and aren’t going to get over with great interviews yet. They should probably be paired up against teams with good rumble skills, although they are likely to improve if booked against better teams.
Commentary
American Spirit is one of the newest tag teams in the USPW. They have zero experience working together, but are decent friends in real life and don’t have any obvious chemistry problems. Unfortunately for them, American Spirit are near the bottom of the tag team totem pole (above the Hillbillies) and are likely to stay there for awhile. Still, both individuals have good upsides, so it is conceivable that they could receive a push and go a bit further up the card. Nicky Champion is about come up for contract negotiations. I recommend that we sign Nicky Champion, as he is young, has room for improvement, and not likely to ask for too much of a raise.
Seduction Booking Team Report
Push: Ideally, Seduction would be used as a Personality. This storyline is likely to continue.
Madman Boone Booking Team Report
Push: Ideally, Madman Boone would be used as a Upper Midcarder, so his current position is perfect. Booking Strategy: Based on his current push and skills, Madman Boone should be being used as a stepping stone to give other people the solid victories they need to put themselves into the main event scene. His own victories should come over midcarders who aren’t about to break into the upper reaches of the card, to at least keep him looking a threat. Titles: Madman Boone does not hold any titles at the moment. His momentum really needs improving before he should become involved in a title picture.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: Madman Boone has great Performance Skills, good Rumble abilities, weak Technical and Flying abilities. His entertainment skills are good and physically, he is great. Potential: He has the potential to get a lot better at Rumble and Flying skills. He can still improve at Technical, Entertainment, Physical, and Performance skills. Booking Strategy: He is strongest with his Rumble skills, so booking him against other hard-hitters will play to his strengths. He is quite entertaining and should do well in interviews and angles. He has excellent Performance skills and could be useful in helping to train up some of our workers who aren’t as good.
Commentary
Madman Boone has done well since debuting for the USPW. His feud with Alex Braun is moderately interesting and that pair has the potential to put better matches in the future. His size and style and make him a reasonably good match-up for Bruce the Giant and it might be worth building up his momentum for a potential match with the champion.
The Hillbillies Booking Team Report:
Push: Ideally, the Hillbillies would be used as Lower Midcarders, so their current position is perfect. Booking Strategy: Based on their current push and skills, the Hillbillies can be seen as a stepping stone onto the main roster. The best use we can get from them at this point is for someone for our young up-and-comers to beat to drive them up the roster, and for wrestlers higher up on the card to beat when they need some easy wins. Titles: The Hillbillies do not currently hold any titles. Their momentum really needs improving before they should become involved in the title picture.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: The Hillbillies have good Performance skills, but weak Rumble, Technical, Flying, and Entertainment skills. Physically, Al is good and Pete is decent. Potential: The Hillbillies have the potential to get a lot better at Performance and Rumble skills and can still improve at Flying, Entertainment, and Physical skills. Al has the potential to get a lot better at Technical skills, while Pete has some room for improvement. Booking Strategy: The Hillbillies are pretty awful in the ring and we’re just not going to get good matches out of them, period. They are very dull and so should be kept away from Microphones at all costs. Commentary The Hillbillies really are nothing more than tag team and singles jobbers at this point in their career. While they technically have room for improvement, the rewards at this stage in their careers seem too small for the investment. The Hillbillies are not likely to be resigned at the end of their contracts. We need them to look relatively strong for this to be effective though, so they should be given victories over weaker opponents on a regular basis. Titles: Savage Fury do not hold any titles at the moment. The USPW World Tag Team titles would be the ones best suited for them to become involved with.
Road Agent Report
Current Skills: Savage Fury have decent Rumble skills, weak Technical and Flying abilities. Physically, Savage Fury are great. Java has great Performance skills and decent Entertainment skills. Tribal Warrior has good Performance skills and weak Entertainment skills. Potential: Savage Fury are coming to their peak in terms of Physical skills, have the potential to get a lot better at Rumble and Performance skills and have room to improve their Flying skills. Tribal Warrior has the potential to get a lot better at Technical skills, while Java still has some room for improvement. Java has the potential to get a lot better at Entertainment skills, while Tribal Warrior has reached his peak. Booking Strategy: Savage Fury are strongest with their Rumble skills, so booking them against other hard-hitters will play to their strengths. Tribal Warrior is very dull and so should be kept away from live microphones at any cost. Java should do the speaking for the team. Java also might be useful in terms of training up other workers than aren’t as good as him.
Commentary
Savage Fury were thrust into the tag team title scene in February following a booking error in their match with Fox Mask and Stevie Grayson. The initial plan was for Fox Mask and Stevie Grayson to go over Savage Fury, but this booking note was somehow lost in the shuffle. While this mistake was regrettable, it did demonstrate what Savage Fury are capable of in a brief title feud: nothing. Savage Fury will likely stick in the center of the tag team pack for the time being.

March Creative Meeting [Kelsey Campbell, Shane Sneer, Danny Jillefski, and Sam Strong are in a generic conference room. It appears as though it is once again time for the USPW’s monthly creative meeting.] Strong: Alright brothers, let’s start this meeting off by going over the end of the month report. So, our rankings, what do you guys think? [Quick review of the rankings… Singles Rankings 1. Bruce the Giant (21.61) 2. Freddie Datsun (15.61) 3. Danny Rushmore (15.18) 4. Jim Force (14.50) 5. Peter Valentine (12.95) 6. Steve Flash (12.67) 7. Frankie Perez (12.64) 8. Alex Braun (12.48) 9. Fumihiro Ota (10.67) 10. Rhino Umaga (10.00) Close: Mick Muscles (9.97), Madman Boone (9.39), Wanda Fish (9.07), Tag Rankings 1. Lords of War (12.62) 2. Demons of Rage (11.02) 3. Dark Cure (10.32) 4. Savage Fury (9.65) 5. American Spirit (7.18) … ] Jillefski: Overall, I think they are pretty good again. Kelsey’s system seems to do a decent job of assigning more or less points to the right wrestlers. There are a few names that seem out of place, however. Sneer: Yeah, I’m not sure that I would have ranked Danny Rushmore and Jim Force that high. I know they were involved in several matches for the National Title, but I can’t see either of them going over Valentine. Campbell: I admit, there are some kinks in the system. In fact, I’d probably go so far as to place 6-10 all above Rushmore and Force. I’ll look into reweighing the value of the National Title and maybe that’ll provide more accurate rankings. Strong: And the tag team rankings? Jillefski: I think they’re fine. The Dark Cure really haven’t proven themselves yet, but Savage Fury is coming off a loss, so I can see that ordering. Sneer: Yeah, no real complaints. Strong: So, the end of the month report looks good, brother… Campbell: …Sister… Strong: … Sister. But we do have a few other things to talk about. First off, I want to scrap the changes to the National Title. I’m just not sure that defending it each week is raising the interest that we want in that belt. Jillefski: I agree. And, in this case, fewer defenses might actually improve the ranking system. [Campbell nods.] Campbell: So, we’ll just go back to defending it at different dates over time, like the World Title? Strong: Yeah, sounds good to me bro…sister. [Campbell writes this down on a notepad.] Campbell: Ok, consider it done. Strong: Now, let’s talk about people to push. First off, you’re supposed to be pushing Giant Redwood, sister. Jillefski: Yeah, I told him to expect a push last month, and well, he’s not really happy. I mean, dark matches do not constitute a formal push. Campbell: His push is coming. I’d expect to see Giant Redwood in USPW Liberty and Justice. I found someone that he seems to have good chemistry with and Shane handled the contract. Jillefski: Oh? [Sneer nods. Campbell slides a paper to Jillefski. Jillefski picks the paper up, turns it over, and reads for a second. He smiles and nods, then hands the paper to Strong. Strong takes a look at it and nods as well.] Jillefski: I think he’ll be happy with that. You mind if I let him know? Campbell: No, as they’ll start their program together this week on a tour date. Strong: Ok, good! Redwood is handled. Next, I want to talk to everyone about the Dark Cure. We need to see more of these guys, especially Black Eagle! Sneer: Really? They haven’t exactly been setting the crowd ablaze with enthusiasm, Sam. Campbell: Yeah, I mean, this was my concept and it’s hard to admit, but really, Sam… they have been a bit of a flop. I was actually thinking about scrapping the team altogether, letting go of Citizen X and repackaging Black Eagle and Raven Nightfall. Strong: No, no, no! They have to go to the top! Sneer: The top? Strong: Well, not the top. But we need to keep using them. The anti-American stuff is gold, guys. Nothing makes our faces look good like going against scum bags! Takes me back to my days in the ring! Nothing got the crowd going like seeing Sam Strong take on an anti-American dirt bag like Corporal Doom! We just need to give it some time! [Campbell shrugs. Jillefski sighs.] Campbell: Ok, Sam. I’ll give it another month or two, and see if the crowd starts to respond to them a bit more. [And the meeting trails off here, as the creative team starts to talk about detailed storylines and angles.]

USPW American Tour Monday, Week 1 March 2007 Location: West Texas Coliseum Attendance: 2000 (Sold Out) Kelsey Campbell opened the show. She discussed how good it was to be able to tour the United States and how excited she was for the continuation of the USPW American Tour. She then mentioned to the crowd that tonight Jim Force was taking on Rhino Umaga, the Lords of War were defending the World Tag Titles against Savage Fury, and that the main event would feature a non-title match between Bruce the Giant and Demon Spite. Campbell warms up the crowd. Rating: C-
Match 1: Stevie Grayson and Fox Mask vs. The Hillbillies Grayson and Fox Mask were too young, too fast, and too talented for the Hillbillies. Grayson and Fox Mask pick up another win here, but really could use a tag team name and finisher. Stevie Grayson and Fox Mask defeated the Hillbillies. Rating: D-
Giant Redwood and a blonde woman, recognized by wrestling fans as Jakki White Trash, entered the ring. Jakki hyped Redwood to the moon, making sure to mention that he was “bigger and badder” than everyone in the crowd. Giant Redwood and Jakki seem to work well together. Jakki White Trash hypes her client, Giant Redwood. Rating: D+
Match 2: Giant Redwood vs. The Tic Giant Redwood tossed around the Tic and it looked half decent. Giant Redwood is perhaps learning to be more of a team player, as not only did he seem to work well with Jakki before the match, he seemed to work well with the Tic during the match. The crowd was a little uninterested in the action, but that is likely due to the fact that neither Redwood or the Tic have any sort of momentum (and of course, the fact that Giant Redwood is awful in the ring). Giant Redwood defeated the Tic. Rating: D-
Jim Force then made his way to the ring and the ropes did shake. He then announced that he had two important quests: 1) to defeat the Dark Cure and 2.) to get his National Title back. Jim Force on the microphone. Rating: D+
Match 3: Jim Force vs. Rhino Umaga Rhino had different plans for Jim Force, however, and pretty much steamrolled the veteran worker. Jim Force did feel the Force later on in the match and made a comeback, but Rhino slipped out of the Full Force and drove the former champion down with a Rhino Charge. Rhino Umaga defeated Jim Force. Rating: D+
The USPW World Tag Team Champions, the Lords of War, then came out to the ring. They talked about their successful title defense at Red, White, and Blue and then mentioned that they agreed to give Savage Fury an opportunity at the tag team titles tonight, just so that they couldn’t blame their loss on the Demons of Rage. The Lords of War hyped their match with Savage Fury Rating: D+
Match 4: Lords of War vs. Savage Fury (World Tag Team Title Match) The Lords of War successfully defended the tag team gold in another standard and uninspiring tag team match. Java looked good in the ring, but overall, the match suffered due to a lack of selling. The Lords of War hit the War Machine on Tribal Warrior to end the match. The Lords of War defeated Savage Fury. Rating: D
The beloved USPW World Champion, Bruce the Giant, then made his way to the ring. He worked the microphone for about six minutes and, as usual, received a good response from the crowd. He hyped his victory over Peter Valentine and his upcoming match with Demon Spite. As usual, he ended by promising to sign autographs after the show and by claiming that he loves his fans. Bruce the Giant works the microphone. Rating: C
Match 5: Bruce the Giant vs. Demon Spite (non title) Demon Spite, being the less impressive of the Demons of Rage, gave Bruce everything that he had, but, none the less, couldn’t seem to really hurt the world champion. After weathering Spite’s offense, Bruce took control of the match and looked dominant. Eventually, Demon Anger ran out the ring and tried to distract Bruce, but even this could not stop the champion, who went on to deliver a Giant Choke Slam to Demon spite. Bruce the Giant defeated Demon Spite. Rating: D+

So, the tour dates are going to have a minimal-work writeup, while the TV shows will continue to have the complete write up (although, they too are shorter, as the new TV show is only for an hour :( ). I managed to lose the match finishes, but that information will be included in the next tour event. Summary of Results and Ratings: Stevie Grayson and Fox Mask defeated the Hillbillies. (D-) Giant Redwood defeated the Tic (D-) Rhino Umaga defeated Jim Force (D-) The Lords of War defeated Savage Fury to retain the USPW World Tag Team Titles (D) Bruce the Giant defeated Demon Spite (D+) Overall: D+

It’s good to be back on television and we’re happy to be on National Pride TV! And to celebrate our return, tonight, our main event tonight will feature Bruce the Giant will squaring off in a non-title exhibition match against a man that is just returning to wrestling… Jesse Christian! [The crowd pops. This pop is more for Bruce than Christian, although the fans in this area are likely to remember Jesse Christian from his days in the SCCW.] Campbell: And now, ladies and gentlemen, on with the show! Unlike their last meeting, this match is all Grayson and Fox Mask, leaving no doubt about the winners. Overall, the tag team division continues to struggle to put on entertaining, quality matches. [We return from the commercial break with Wanda Fish in the ring. She again has a microphone, meaning that it’s time for another session of the open male challenge.] Fish: As much as I love beating the boys in the back, I have a new challenge to issue. I want Kelsey Campbell. At Red, White, and Blue… she tried to stick her nose in my business for the second time. Now, of course, our illustrious commissioner did not mention me when she was out earlier. But that’s understandable… she’s afraid of me. And why wouldn’t she be? I am a 4 time Femme Fatale champion and undefeated against male competitors in the USPW! [The crowd begins to boo Fish, as they do each week during her spiel.] Fish: But I’ll sweeten the deal for Campbell. If she accepts my challenge, I’ll stop the open the male challenge. That’s right… I won’t batter and bruise anymore male egos when and if she steps in the ring with me. So, princess, any time you’re ready. [Fish stares at the entrance ramp, as if to wait for Campbell’s response. Campbell does not appear.] Fish: No big surprise. Well then, the open male challenge continues. Which brave Y’er will accept my challenge this week? [Fish paces in the ring, waiting for someone to accept her challenge.] Fish: Oh come on. Certainly someone back there is brave enough to take on a poor, defenseless little girl like me. [Fish does her best to look weak and defenseless. To be honest, it’s not working, but she does look rather hot while making the attempt. A young male rolls through the entrance curtain. As per the example set in previous weeks, he is followed out by Rhino Umaga and Fumihiro Ota.] Fish: Alright! It looks like we have a taker! [The young wrestler is Erik Strong, and unfortunately for him, Rhino Umaga and Fumihiro Ota are beating him towards the ring.] Fish: And look at that, my trusted assistants Ota and Umaga are ensuring that he makes it to the ring safely! [Umaga lifts Strong up and presses him over the bottom rope into the ring. And, as usual, a referee is on location to start this absurd match.] Fish challenges Campbell and issues the “open male” challenge. Rating: D-
Wanda Fish vs. Erik Strong vs. And once again, Fish makes a mockery of another male opponent that really had no opportunity to defend himself. Ota and Umaga do an excellent job of softening up opponents for Wanda and Fish does a great job of making the squashes look reasonable. Wanda Fish defeated Erik Strong in 2:55 by pinfall with a Dish of The Day. Rating: D+
[After Fish and her entourage clear the ring, Frankie Perez makes his way to the ring.] Perez: So, I easily beat that has-been the Wolverine at Red, White, and Blue. Tonight, the USPW has given me Jim Force. Another has-been. It’s becoming more and more obvious that the USPW values their past more than their future… because let’s face, Jim Force is part of the past. A sad and pathetic part of the past, but still, a part of the past. Me, on the other hand? I’m the future of this company. And if I have to build a bridge to the future on the broken and battered corpses of has-beens like the Wolverine and Jim Force… then so be it. More Perez self-hype Rating: D-
Frankie Perez vs. Jim Force vs. This was pretty typical Jim Force match material. He started off strong and used the power game to keep Perez off balance. Perez took over and Force looked to be in trouble, but then Jim Force felt the FORCE and made another comeback. Force went for his finisher, Perez countered the Full Force slam, and then shoved Force into a turnbuckle, hoisted him up, and hit a Perfect Parity. Overall, a good performance by Perez, who seemed to carry the veteran to one of his more entertaining matches since losing the National Title. Frankie Perez defeated Jim Force in 4:46 by pinfall with a Perfect Parity. Rating: D+
[Following his victory, Frankie Perez exits the ring wearing his typical arrogant smirk. Jim Force struggles to his feet, but before he can head to the back, the Dark Cure appear on the video screen.] [The Dark Cure appear in an appropriately mysterious and dark location, with a single overhead light producing a small amount of light over each member’s face. Black Eagle has his eyes closed and stands the rear and center, flanked to his left by Citizen X and his right by Raven Nightfall. Citizen X begins to speak.] Citizen X: Last night, the Dark Cure struck a victorious blow against American Tyranny. We defeated the Forces of America. But beyond that, we’ve shown that the Forces of America, and by default, America itself… is weak and ripe for change. [The crowd can be heard booing over the video. Raven Nightfall begins to speak.] Raven Nightfall: Jim Force. The Forces of America could not stand up to the Dark Cure at Red, White, and Blue. Nor shall the Forces of America ever be enough to stop our corrective measures. But you, Jim Force, you are different than Captain USA. You are different than team known as American Spirit. It is obvious, Jim Force, that the potential for greatness runs through you veins. The Force that currently guides you is obviously clouded by capitalist propaganda, but, with a little work… you could be a great ally to those that seek to end American injustice. Those that seek to end American tyranny. Jim Force, we are calling you. And you will come, for the force that guides you cannot be constrained by the petty ideals of patriotism and loyalty. So, Jim Force. We wish to pre-welcome you to our fold. Jim Force, the Force itself, and the Dark Cure… we are all one and the same. We will converge. [Black Eagle opens his eyes, revealing his haunting, unnatural eyes. A second later, the video wall flashes to static. Jim Force, still in the ring, stares at the video wall. Bruce the Giant is inside his personal locker room (it’s good to the be champion), sitting on a bench, lacing up his boots. Seduction is also in the room, sitting across from Bruce, with her legs crossed.] Campbell: Hey Bruce. Hi Seduction. I just wanted to thank you again, Bruce, for taking this match with Jesse Christian tonight. [Bruce nods.] Bruce the Giant: No problem, Ms. Campbell. Bruce loves his fans `n` it will be fun ta welcome Jesse back ta wrestling. Oh, by the way, Bruce hired Seduction ta be his manager. [Campbell nods, apparently, not surprised by this news.] Campbell: I see. Well, I think you guys will make a great couple. [Seduction and Bruce exchange glances, then look at Kelsey Campbell.] Campbell: I mean, professionally. Anyhow, good luck out there tonight, champ. Madman Boone vs. Steve Flash vs. Madman Boone entered the ring with his silly chef’s hat and put in the time and effort to look truly and completely insane over the course of this match. Steve Flash, on the other hand, was business as usual. And Steve Flash’s business is in making people look good. And given that Boone is already good in the ring, these two combined to put on one of the best matches this year in the USPW. Boone has developed a new move (which might be better called a habit). After driving Flash down with a big spine buster, Boone stood above him and acted as if he were sprinkling something on Flash, all the while making spacey “woo, voo” noises, then paused, yelled to the crowd that “this Turkey was finished”, and finished up his sequence with an exaggerated knee drop on Flash, while yelling “BAM.” The match went back and forth, with Boone finally winning with some extra leverage from the ropes. Madman Boone defeated Steve Flash in 8:01 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage. Rating: C

Alex Braun ran out to the ring, much to the crowd’s pleasure, and attacked Boone. Boone immediately took a baseball swing at Braun with the whisk, but Braun ducked the shot and dropped Boone with a snappy super kick. Braun then mounted Boone and unloaded with a series of rights and lefts.] [Braun then setup a table in the ring, pulled Boone onto it, and proceeded to pile drive Boone through the table. This move apparently looked especially dangerous, as the crowd seemed genuinely concerned about Boone’s safety and did not really respond well to the spot.] Braun attacks Boone after the match. Rating: D-

Freddie Datsun appears from the side and gives Bruce a high five.] Datsun: Hey Bruce! Hey Seds. Great match at Red, White, and Blue. I was happy to see you put Valentine away. Seduction: Me too! [Bruce nods.] Bruce the Giant: It did feel pretty good ta smash Peter Valentine. [Now, Kelsey Campbell enters the scene.] Campbell: Freddie, Bruce. It’s good that I’ve ran into both of you like this. Listen, Freddie, I’m thinking of naming you the number one contender for Bruce’s World Championship. [Seduction looks a little worried, but Bruce and Datsun seem happy about this news.] Datsun: You sure? I mean, not to sound ungrateful, but I just want to make sure that I’ve earned this opportunity. Bruce the Giant: Freddie has earned a smashing. Er…Bruce means, a title shot. [Datsun smiles, while Campbell nods.] Campbell: Bruce is right. I mean, it’s true that you helped Steve and I out last night, but that’s not what this is about. You’ve looked great out there and I think it’s time that you had a chance at the title. [A voice off screen.] Voice: What?!? [And now, Peter Valentine, flanked by the Masked Mauler, enters the scene.] Valentine: You’re going to give Datsun the next title shot? I’m the number one contender! [Bruce is visibly upset to see Valentine. Seduction rubs the champ’s back, which seems to calm the giant. Datsun isn’t exactly happy to see Valentine either, but he stands by, quietly. Campbell calmly responds:] Campbell: Peter, you just lost to Bruce. How do you figure that you’re still the number one contender? Valentine: Rubber match! We’re one and one, I should get one more chance at Bruce! Seduction: You’re one and one by a DQ. A DQ that I gave you… Valentine: No, you stopped me from getting a clean win! Besides, it doesn’t matter… Bruce and I are one and one! There has to be a third match! Bruce the Giant: Bruce will smash annoying Valentine now, then he won't want anymore matches with Bruce. [Bruce steps forward, but Seduction and Datsun hold him back. Campbell sighs.] Campbell: Ok, Peter. Here’s what I’ll do. You and Datsun next week. The winner gets a match against Bruce the Giant at Liberty and Justice. The loser gets the first match against the winner, on the first television show after the event. Deal? [Datsun is nodding, but Valentine is shaking his head.] Valentine: No! We don’t have a deal! It’s not fair! If you don’t give me my shot… I’ll... [Campbell tilts her head and stares at Valentine.] Campbell: You’ll what? Valentine: I’ll… I’ll…I’ll [Valentine isn’t sure what to say, as Bruce is towering behind Datsun and Seduction, cracking his knuckles. Just then, Madman Boone stumbles into the scene, holding the back of his head.] Valentine: Boone! Mauler! Attack! [Boone looks up, sees Bruce and Datsun, standing at the ready. He shakes his head, then turns around.] Boone: No, the restaurant is closed for the night. I’m tired of cleaning your dishes, Peter. [And just like that, Boone exits the scene. Valentine looks for the Masked Mauler, but he’s managed to sneak off, leaving poor Peter Valentine all by himself.] Campbell: You were saying? [Valentine looks at Bruce. Then at Datsun. Then to his left and right. Then at Campbell.] Valentine: Uh, that deal sounds great. [Campbell nods.] Campbell: Good. Then next week, Datsun and Valentine to name the number one contender. Now Bruce, you should head to the ring… you’re match is up now. [Bruce nods, and he and Seduction walk by Valentine and head to the ring. As Bruce passes by Valentine, he “accidentally” gives him a stiff bump with his hip. Valentine thinks about attacking Bruce from behind, sees Datsun watching him, and calls it a night.] Everyone wants a title shot. Christian really took it to Bruce and actually managed to take the World Champion down with a flying clothesline. The crowd started to get into it, as it looked as Christian had a chance at winning the match. Christian then tried to body slam the champion and managed to get him up, but couldn’t get him over. As Jesse stumbled off, holding his lower back, Bruce regained his senses and slapped a chokehold on Christian as he turned around, then finished the returning wrestler with a Giant Choke Slam. So, I've obviously slowed down a bit over the last couple of weeks. The summer, for all intensive purposes, is over and now that I'm teaching again... well, there's simply less time for fun :( Also, I want to apologize about the easy nature of last month (and, depending on your responses this month's) prediction lists. I'm about a month ahead game-wise and things get more interesting to predict later on, but for now, it's a lot of setup and momentum building. Although, if I can toot my own horn, I think I have some great (even if the game rankings don't agree) stuff (in terms of angles) coming up for Fish over the next two shows. And finally, I'm working on a new segment. The working title is "A Month in the Life of..." and, well, it'll cover life for a wrestler in the USPW for a month. It's a behind the scenes look, explaining where they are in life, how wrestling is treating them in general, and where they might go from here. I'll probably start off with Bruce the Giant, although I'm finished (and yes, I'm easily distracted by side projects :p) "A Month in the Life of Seduction", so I might post that between cards just to get something up.

USPW American Tour Monday, Week 2 March 2007 Location: Grissom Auditorium Attendance: 2000 (Sold Out) Jesse Christian vs. The Masked Mauler Jesse Christian rebounded from his loss to Bruce the Giant last week on Superstar Showcase by quickly disposing of the Masked Mauler. The Masked Mauler continues to put out better than expected matches, although they are certainly far from pretty. Jesse Christian defeated The Masked Mauler in 4:45 by submission with a Human Torture Rack. Rating: D
Next, Jakki White Trash enters the ring, followed by Giant Redwood. She again hypes “her man”, reminding the fans that he’s “bigger and badder” than them. She then announces that “her man” has a new tag team partner, his good pal “T-Rex” who then enters the ring. She says that Redwood and Rex are going straight to the top. Jakki White Trash Hypes Redwood and T-Rex Ratings: D+
T-Rex and Giant Redwood vs. American Spirit T-Rex and Giant Redwood get their first tag team match against the youthful team of American Spirit. This was an ugly, ugly match, as T-Rex and Redwood have poor work rates and Elwood and Champion are still fairly green. Nonetheless, Jakki’s outside presence continues to make Redwood look good. Real Big Men defeated American Spirit in 4:47 when T-Rex defeated Happy Elwood by pinfall with The Extinction. Rating: E+
Captain USA vs. Java Java broke Savage Fury’s current losing streak by pulling out a win over Captain USA in what was a well received match. It still seems that Java has some potential as a single’s heel and that Tribal Warrior might actually be holding him back. Black Eagle made an appearance, as he walked through the entrance curtain with a sign that said “Release Jim Force” and stood on the entrance ramp. Captain USA eventually saw this sign, got distracted and was rolled up by Java. Java defeated Captain USA in 5:23 by pinfall following interference from Black Eagle. During the match we also had Citizen X run in and attack Captain USA. Rating: D+
Jim Force vs. Peter Valentine Valentine looked really off his game and Jim Force simply couldn’t make up for Valentine’s disappointing performance. This was another typical Jim Force match (he really only wrestles one match, just with different opponents) that featured Force feeling the FORCE, becoming indestructible, then losing when Valentine caught him with a low blow and a Heart Breaker. Peter Valentine defeated Jim Force in 5:56 by pinfall with a Heart Breaker. Rating: D
Following the match, the Dark Cure entered the ring. They surrounded Jim Force, but did not attack him. Force struggled to his feet, feeling the effects of the Heart Breaker, flipped out, and attacked the Dark Cure. They defended themselves and restrained Jim Force. Black Eagle then stared closely at Force’s eyes, but this strange in-ring meeting was cut short by the appearance of Captain USA, who sent the Dark Cure running. The Dark Cure have weird interactions with Jim Force. Rating: E+
Freddie Datsun vs. Mick Muscles Freddie Datsun, unlike Peter Valentine, shows why he is a top contender for the World Title, as he and Mick Muscles put on a great match. Mick Muscles seems to be getting better and better in the ring, which is likely due to his work with CGC. Datsun picked up a clean win and looks strong heading into Superstar Showcase. Freddie Datsun defeated Mick Muscles in 6:43 by pinfall with a Patriot Press. Rating: C
Demon Anger vs. Alex Braun in a hardcore match One half of the Demons of Rage met up with Alex Braun in a hardcore match that featured chairs, the ring steps, and a trashcan. This was pretty typical hardcore action, with Braun picking up the win following a chair shot and a Braun Damage. Alex Braun defeated Demon Anger in 8:27 by pinfall with a Braun Damage. During the match we also had Madman Boone run in and attack Alex Braun. Rating: D+
After the match, Madman Boone rushed the ring with his giant whisk and attacked Alex Braun. Braun took another beating thanks to the whisk. Following the beating, Boone again performed his “BAM!” move. After the match, Madman Boone assaults Alex Braun. Rating: D+

USPW Superstar Showcase Wednesday, Week 2 March 2007 Location: Grissom Auditorium Attendance: 2623 [USPW Superstar Showcase opens with Wanda Fish in the ring. She’s in her wrestling gear, meaning that it is time for another round of the “open male” challenge. Fish: Ladies and gentlemen… Kelsey Campbell is still ducking my challenge. And so the open male challenge continues! [Immediately, Steve Flash’s music begins to play. And Steve Flash appears on the entrance ramp, with a microphone in hand.] Flash: Wanda, every week, you supposedly accept the challenge of some young, green wrestler. Well, I’m not going to let you embarrass any more young men. You want a challenge, I’ll give you one. [The crowd pops and is fairly excited about the prospect of Fish vs. Flash. Flash starts to walk towards the ring, but Fish shakes her head.] Fish: Oh, I’m sorry Stevie. I know your aching to get in the ring with me! I know you want to come in here and get physical with me. I know you want grab me from behind and show me a few your … moves ... [Flash shakes his head as pauses at the bottom of the entrance ramp, as he apparently does not approve of Fish’s innuendo.] Fish: And as much I’d love it you came down to the ring and played rough with me… in front of this crowd… I guess you’ll just have to wait until the next open male challenge, Stevie. I’m sorry baby, but this one has already been accepted! [Flash looks around and seeing no other wrestlers on the entrance ramps, responds.] Flash: I don’t see any other challengers out here? Fish: Oh, trust me, they’re on the way. Flash: They’re? Fish: Yeah, you heard right. The “open male” challenge tonight is a two-on-one match. See, I’m the real deal, Stevie. The thought of two men at once doesn’t bother me at all; in fact, I find it kind of exciting. [And just then, the Hillbillies stumble (or, more appropriately, are flung) through the entrance curtain. Umaga and Ota follow them out and Umaga quickly blindsides Flash, sending him down hard on the entrance ramp. Ota and Umaga then work over the Hillbillies some more, and force them towards the ring. Eventually the Hillbillies are tossed into the ring, and Umaga threatens the time keeper to ring the bell. He does so. Apparently, the ring bell is like a summoning spell in a role-playing game, as a referee immediately runs to the ring.] Wanda Fish issues another “open male” challenge. Of course, this could be misconstrued, as Wanda is an attractive woman and the Hillybillys, well, yeah, they’re not. And so, of course, Wanda would look good standing next to them. But this isn’t what I mean (although it’s obviously also true) – instead, her in-ring performance against the Hillbillies looked good. Granted, the match was relatively short, as Umaga and Ota had essentially already finished the Hillbillies before they got to the ring. Fish’s moves, however, looked crisp and clean. The Hillbillies did their best to sell them, but the crowd was not terribly interested. We listen in on her conversation.] Campbell: Listen, I know it’s risky, but I want to go through with it. [There is a pause, as she apparently listens to the other person on the line.] Campbell: Listen, Sam, she wants me in the ring. I want her in the ring – I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen. [Another pause.] Campbell: Really? You’re going to make a decision and announce it in two weeks? Alright, Sam. Yeah, that’ll have to work. [Campbell looks a bit disappointed. She hangs up the phone.] Campbell is on the phone Rating: C

Truth be told, the Wolverine is simply very limited at this point in his career. Anyhow, the Wolverine controlled the early part of the match, and used chairs, trash cans, and a baking dish to assault Perez during this part of the match. Perez eventually super kicked a chair into the DAVE veteran’s face, then used the Perfect Parity to pick up the win. Frankie Perez defeated The Wolverine in 5:21 by pinfall with a Perfect Parity. Rating: D
[As Perez celebrates in the ring, the scene switches backstage, where we see Wanda Fish walking around. A voice is heard.] Voice: Hey, nice moves out there legs! [Wanda turns around only to find herself talking to “Sex Driven” Thomas Morgan. She stares at Morgan.] Morgan: Ya’ know, Wanda, there are a lot of fish in the sea, but you're the only one I'd like to catch and mount back at my place. [Wanda continues to stare at Morgan.] Fish: Weren’t you trying to hit on Campbell last month? Morgan: Trying? Pfft, she’s just playing hard to get. That girl’s allllll mine. Fish: And you know how I feel about her? Morgan: Of course, and I’m hoping you two might put on a little private catfight for me, if you know what I mean? Fish: Oh, I know what you mean. [And Fish starts to walk towards Morgan. Her walk is more sexual than usual (i.e., she’s walking a bit like a stripper.] Fish: But, wouldn’t you rather just have me, Tommy? [Fish is now directly in front of Morgan. She turns her back towards him, obviously to provide a view, and then slowly spins around to face him. Morgan looks a little flustered, but responds.] Morgan: So, you aren’t into sharing? Fish: Not with her. Morgan: A shame, there’s plenty of “Sex Driven” Thomas Morgan to go around. Fish: Oh, is there? Well, I’ll take … all that you’ve got… if you do me one, itsy-bitsy tiny little favor? Morgan: What’s that? Fish: Take out Kelsey Campbell. [Morgan, who before this statement, was staring Wanda’s… er, “assets” jerks his head back, and begins to shake it.] Morgan: Take out the commissioner? Fish: Yeah. She’s just a girl; you should be able to handle that, right, Tommy? Morgan: Uh… baby, the name is “Sex Driven” Thomas Morgan, not “Sexual Assault” Thomas Morgan. Fish: Shame. [And Fish begins to walk away. And, apparently, Fish knows how to swing her hips when she walks.] Morgan: Uh,… well, maybe we can work something out? [We now see Fish from a frontal view. She has a devilish smile on her face. Morgan, on the other hand, looks like a 12 year old that just found his first playboy.] Fish: There’s nothing to work out. You handle her… and I’ll handle you. Morgan: I’m… I’m on it! [And Morgan exits the scene, in something of a rush. Suddenly, and out of a shadow that you might have not previously noticed, Fumihiro Ota appears.] Ota: .? Ota then points at Morgan again, and then starts choking himself and making gargling noises.] Fish: Oh… do I want you to choke him? [Ota shrugs his shoulders and nods, as if to say, “close enough.”] Fish: Maybe later? Let’s see where he takes this for now. You can always choke him later, right? [Ota nods and then disappears into the shadows.] Thomas Morgan tries his luck with Wanda Fish. Rating: D

Rushmore is wearing the USPW National Title belt across his waist. As usual, Muscles does most of the talking.] Muscles: So, the Towers of Power have been focused on defending our National Title, isn’t that right Danny? Rushmore: Yea’. Muscles: But we’re still a dominant tag team force, isn’t that right Danny? Rushmore: Yea’. Muscles: And to prove it, we’re going to beat the Lords of War in this non-title match. And when we win, they’ll have no choice but to give us a title shot, isn’t that right Danny? Rushmore: Yea’. Muscles: And just to prove how serious we are, if we lose… well, Danny will defend our National Title against one of the Lords of War next week, isn’t that right Danny? Rushmore: Yea’… what? [And then, the Lords of War’s music begins to play.] Mick Muscles promises victory. Rating: D-

To be fair, this was the best of the three matches, although it was only marginally better (largely due to Rushmore’s improvement in terms of skills and popularity) than the previous matches. You had some great moments in the SCCW. You were definitely our most successful superstar. Christian: Yeah, I definitely had some good times there. Sneer: And I’m sure you’re looking forward to being just as successful here in the USPW? Christian: Well, I didn’t return to be mediocre, if that’s what you mean. Sneer: Jesse, listen. I know you’re more or less a loner… but, you should really consider using my services. Christian: You want to be my manager? Sneer: Agent, but close enough. You know me, Jesse. I can help take you to the top. Christian: I don’t know Shane. You have a track record of cutting corners… Sneer: And of getting results. Listen, you join up with me… and I’ll finally be in a position to start the Sneer Corporation over again. And you’ll be at the head of the corporation! Christian: Don’t you think that your other clients would be upset with you giving me such a favored position? Sneer: Two-thirds of my current clients don’t speak English! And Wanda, well, if I’m the president of the Sneer Corporation, and you’re my Vice President, she can be our secretary. Christian: I don’t know, Shane. I’m just not sure that it’s my style. I’ll tell you what, I’ll think about it. [Sneer nods.] Sneer: You do that, Jesse. And let me know. Sneer tries to recruit Jesse Christian. Rating: D

Despite the short nature of the match, the competitors switch control back and forth several times and both men are able to get off a number of their signature maneuvers. Fox Mask eventually tries the Fox Hunter, but Ota shoves him off and connects with a Ninja Strike for the victory. Fumihiro Ota defeated Fox Mask in 5:32 by pinfall with a Ninja Strike. Rating: C-

He motions for Ota to assault Fox Mask. Ota complies and starts to lay the boots to his fallen foe. Then Sneer signals for the rest of his troops to come out. Rhino Umaga and Wanda Fish walk through the entrance curtain and approach the ring.] Sneer: Tonight, we’re sending a clear message to Steve Flash and Kelsey Campbell. And to Freddie Datsun, should he think to stick his nose in our business again. Hurt him, guys. [Fish and Umaga slide into the ring and join in on Ota’s assault. The crowd pops as Stevie Grayson appears and runs to the ring. As soon as Sneer sees Grayson, he slides out of the ring to safety.] [Grayson tries to help out his frequent tag team partner and manages to keep Ota off balance for a moment, but is soon barreled over by a vicious clothesline from Umaga. Fox Mask struggles to his feet, but sneaky Wanda Fish was waiting for this, and sends him back down with a Dish of the Day. Seeing that things are again in his favor, Sneer reenters the ring.] Sneer: Let me make this perfectly clear. Kelsey Campbell will step into the ring with Wanda Fish, or we’ll continue the assaults. And Steve Flash… well, let’s say he should just go back to NYCW, as things simply don’t look good for him. Speak of the devil! [Now Steve Flash walks through the entrance ramp and marches to the ring. Sneer bails out of the ring again.] [Flash enters the ring, ducks a clothesline from Umaga and drops Ota with a running forearm, then starts brawling with Umaga. Fish again is the great unequalizer, as she sneaks a dropkick into the back of Flash’s legs. Now, Ota, Umaga, and Fish proceed to assault Stevie Grayson, Fox Mask, and Steve Flash. Sneer reenters the ring, now that it is once again safe.] Sneer: Flash… you’re only ally is our cowardly tramp of a commissioner. You obviously can’t depend on Freddie Datsun, as he’s too busy politicking his way towards a title shot. In fact, I’d go so far as to suggest that the only reason he helped you at Red, White, and Blue was so that Campbell would owe him! [Now, Jesse Christian walks through the entrance ramp. He pauses at the top of the ramp and stares at the ring.] Sneer: Ah! Ladies and gentlemen… welcome my newest client! Former SCCW Champion… Jesse Christian! [Christian enters the ring. The assault on Flash, Grayson, and Fox Mask pauses, as Umaga, Ota, and Fish are not sure of Christian’s intentions. Sneer holds his hand out and after a brief pause, Christian shakes it. ] Sneer: Welcome to the fold, Jesse! Anything you’d like to say? [Sneer holds the microphone out.] Christian: Yeah… [Christian turns his back, holds the microphone to his mouth.] Chrisitan: You disgust me! [Christian swings around and drops Sneer with a single right hand. Ota immediately tries to attack Christian, but is back dropped out of the ring for his troubles. Umaga then attacks and brawls with Christian. It’s more or less a stalemate, until Wanda Fish sneaks behind Christian and delivers a Dish of the Day… but misses, as Christian ducks and Fish hits Umaga instead. Christian then clotheslines Umaga out of the ring. He then turns to face Wanda Fish, who quickly decides against this course of action and bails from the ring. Sneer regroups his troops and is obviously thinking about charging the ring, but Flash, Fox Mask, and Grayson are starting to get up, so Sneer and his “soldiers” back down.] Fumihiro Ota, Rhino Umaga and Wanda Fish attack Fox Mask, Stevie Grayson, and Steve Flash. Peter Valentine vs. Freddie Datsun in a match to determine the number one contender vs. Peter Valentine again looked off his game tonight, and Freddie Datsun simply could not carry Peter Valentine to a hugely successful match. The match itself was more of Valentine’s typical stuff with lots of stalling, lots of rule breaking, and generic brawling and power wrestling. Valentine controlled a lot of the action, but eventually, saw his Heart Breaker countered into a Patriot Press. Bruce the Giant then walks through the entrance curtain, to a loud pop from the crowd, and heads to the ring. Soon after, Seduction is seen running out through the same curtain. She catches up to Bruce, holds on to his arm and says something to him. Bruce nods, Seduction lets go, and Bruce enters the ring. At first, Bruce and Datsun stand toe-to-toe and it even appears that they might exchange blows. But eventually, Bruce raises Datsun’s hand, much to the crowd’s pleasure. Then Bruce and Datsun shake hands, hug, and celebrate together in the ring. Seduction is seen smiling from the outside, as USPW Superstar Showcase fades to the USPW logo.] Bruce and Datsun shake hands and celebrate. Rating: C-

Regarding the predictions - Marcel won the first two months. I've contacted him and Sam Strong will start to reflect Marcel's wishes, especially in April (March was more or less planned out by the time I sent him a message). This month, well... Dragonmack is out in the lead Dragonmack: 7 I'll probably post the preview for the next cards (I'm generally going to post them in pairs like this, with the exception of the big montly events) and maybe a backstage/backstory segment on Saturday or Sunday. And hopefully, I'll get another set of cards out this weekend.
