panix04 Posted September 22, 2007 Share Posted September 22, 2007 Dawn and I went to Sharm on holiday t'was an absolute blast! Did you go inside the pyramid? If so was there a creepy looking guy asking for tips at the end when you did it? He reminded me of the scary looking cult leader from the temple of doom! Anyway, looks like you had a blast, Egypt is an awesome place to visit, although walking through towns before they get busy is a nightmare. The street sellers can be very *ahem* persuasive. Sphinx was good!! Yeah the sellers make me laugh.... they are all shouting crap like - "BOGOF!" "CHEAPER THAN CHIPS!" "CLOSING DOWN SALE!" Haha its unreal! panix04 Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 We stayed in the dreams beach hotel. It was a short taxi drive from the town centre. The all inclusive thing was pretty ace, aprat from all the food had the same herbs and spices in and therefore tasted the same! I was chuffed as nuts to find a mcdonalds in the town! It was huge as well, biggest burger i have ever had (bigger then the burger king efforts!) My missus shyed away from climbing in the pyramid too. Im glad i did it, but It would have been cooler if the room that you go into was decorated and stuff, but I guess all that stuff has probably been removed! We got dragged into a pufume shop (atleast i did, the missus seemed not to mind too much!) and the offered us a cup of tea, i thought to myself, ****, that tea is going to have a rohipnolly after taste to it! So i declined! Dawn had one though they looked a tad upset when she asked for milk! In fairness as much as the street sellers were iritating me I still have that pefume and it smells amazing!
