run time error '55'

I've been getting a run time error '55' file already open. It usually happens when I open up the box score of a game or go to print a report. It also erases the league I'm playing. The save name is there, but when I go to load the league it says no file saved to open or something like that. Anybody got any ideas about this or had this happen before? It's kind of frustrating because no matter how often I save the game is lost when this happens to me!
