I would like to do something here, If you guys would, I like to see your top 5 titles that I've rendered and why. Nothing elaborate, just you liked the plate design or the color flowed. Something like that. I'm curious to see how my top five matches up to yours. Anyways, just a little something to help gauge what I'm doing good and what I can improve on. I don't know if its because we have something recent to base if off of, I don't know if its because the "flag" comes across so clear. I'm not sure what it is but I feel its your best. You really gotta look to catch all the little things. Very well done. [IMG]http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/HEEExtreme.jpg[/IMG] I really like this one because with these belts their not around a human beings waist, a lot of times we get just a little "clip" if you will of what they look like. We need to be able to look at them and say "oh this is the hard ten title, or oh thats the U.S Title" With this its very clear this is the xtreme title, great design, very clear face plate, very original. I love the Carolina Blue, I love the design, and later on in my series this color comes into play big time. So all in all this is my personal favorite but I couldn't in good concious rank it 1. Right off the bat you know what this title is, you know its the Hard Ten title the second you look at it. The design isn't complex but the point is to make a title recognizable the moment you look at it. The WWE U.S Title, , World Heavyweight Title, I.C Title. You know what these titles are the second you look at them. YOu don't have to stare for a moment to figure out what title it is. This one literally TELLS you what it is and I Like that. [IMG]http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CWLLightHeavyweight.jpg[/IMG] This one again not only tells you what the title is. Although thats oddly enough doesnt' matter in this one. This title has the prestige, that honorable, elite, classy feel to it. Simple colors, nice design, it tells you what it is. It gives off that classy feel. Its not got a bunch of colors, or a lot of design, it gives you the name of the title, keeps the classic gold background and has that classy insignia giving it a throwback feel I guess. Probably one of the best belts when it comes to that. Very realistic looking and probably your best "real" look to a belt. I used the original one without a logo for awhile in one of my companies and loved it. Doesn't look like your traditional title in the sense that it's more focused on the "money" look that a traditional company look. I'm guessing it was created as an alt belt for when Rich Money becomes SWF Champion? Just a great look overall & creative as hell. I love the plate, the rough look to it really makes it look unique. Plus, it takes a general concept of as a High Impact title and gives it a great "rough" look. The three belts I need are: CCW California Heavyweight (Main Event), CCW California Regional (Midcard), and CCW California Tag Team (Midcard). The promotion uses a Modern style combined with Lucha Libre and the flashiness of Hollywood. Thank you for taking some time out to give some visual feedback on what I'm doing, it is really appreciated. Meaning, it was one of the few titles that the name and the belt actually was able to flow as one. Not sure exactly why though. Maybe for me, the lines just flowed very well. Very simple and to the point. It gave it that classy but unmistakeable look. Kind of like the Smokin' Skull belt for Austin. For me the colors and light scheme just came together perfectly. The plate background came about by accident, and quite frankly, alot of these renders happen by accident. So that's mine. I never really plan a head for what I'm going to do, I usually just start with a belt strap and start working on a plate design and then go from there.
