Vince successfully defeated the WCW in the ratings battle. Vince outweighs WCW in star-power and in reputation. What could possibly go wrong? The man known as Eric Bischoff could. After a meeting with Ted Turner and AOL Time Warner they have renewed WCW's once dead TV Contract. Eric has promised to turn around WCW with promises of "Building new stars". Bischoff has promised great success to Thunder and Nitro. The date is Monday Week 1 2001. The stage is set for the Monday Night Wars. Kwik throws Angle back into the ring and then goes for a springboard unti Angle cuts him off with a Mid-air Belly to Belly Suplex! Angle continues to use his normal moves on K-Kwik for a while. Jerry Lynn gets the win with a Cradle Driver on Matt Hardy making him the number one contender to the European Title! Saturn and Raven then started to brawl to the outside and it ended up with a 10 Count. Credible and Gunn put there differences aside for a few minutes to double team Buchanan. After Gunn hits the One and Only on Buchanan for the pinfall. Credible attempts to take advantage of this with a Superkick but Gunn catches it and spins Credible's foot around... kicks Justin in the gut and hits the FAMOUSER!
