I'm not that much older but I've grown so much since then as a person and you'll look back on this and wonder why you were so bothered. You've got an awful lot of life to live to be too hung up on this stuff. The best thing I ever realised in my life was from time to time you've gotta risk your ego take a bruising. If you wander around too scared to let your ego take a hit from time to time you're gonna miss a lot of opportunities to be happy. I know getting a dented ego can hurt from time to time but it's worth it. Feeling like you're in love, whilst ridiculously painful, is an incredible emotion when you think about it. Besides, one day you will have something happen that is worse than this, believe you me. You've gotta try to be happy and enjoy yourself while things aren't too bad. And no, I'm not drunk.
