Otherwise he'd probably be jobbing right now. As for the Mercenaries, well, can't say that was one of my better ideas, but you should have seen the original gimmick (Lt. Scout, Col. Tanner, Cpl. Jack, with me also tossing around the idea of making Tanner a Russian military guy.) That was definitely wrestlecrap in the making. As it is, I'm phasing the Mercenaries out, while Scout will stay where he is. Thanks for reading and responding, I appreciate it.

Naess, who announces for XWA Pay Per Views, and is also the owner of Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling, has stated that he wishes to devote more time to running PSW. XWA respects Naess's decision and will continue the working agreement with his company. His last appearance will be calling the XWA PPV, quiXotica.

Wow, I can't believe its been almost two months since my last update. This diary, while on hiatus, is not dead. I hope to get my updates through the Royal Rumble up by this weekend. The Royal Rumble part of the quiXotica ppv, will actually be the longest writeup as I will write up the match from beginning to end. I have my next 6 months of storylines planned out and I'm eager to get to them. I appreciate everyone who has read so far, and look forward to continuing this diary.

The match, of course, breaks down, with all four men hitting their finishers, and it looking more like a four-way then a tag team. The finish comes as Kunomasu locks on the Kunomasu vice on Reed, Acid then takes him out, Vessey goes for the cover, but Reed schoolboys for the win. I was the first ever XWA World Champion, and I admit, in some ways I took it for granted. When I lost it to Angel of Death, I assumed it would only be a matter of time before I won that belt back. And while it may still be a matter of time, it's taken longer than I anticipated. Winning the Royal Rumble will not only give me that honor, but I will also get the chance to reclaim the belt on the one year anniversary of my first time winning it. And there is nothing I want more, than to have that gold wrapped around my waist one more time. The two men go toe to toe, taking their frustrations out on each other. Law is getting the upper hand until Gilmore interferes. After this happens a couple times Dan and Jeremy stone head out to ringside to confront him. This brings out Bryan Vessey and Scout followed by Acid, Art Reed, and Kunomasu. In no time the pushing turns into brawling and everyone is fighting everyone. The ref has no choice but to call the match. [CENTER][B][U]Post Match[/U][/B][/CENTER] Angel of Death comes out and clears the ring with some assistance from Darkness Warrior and Hell's Bouncer, until only he stands in the ring. But, even with a 1-1-1 record, a win tonight by High Octane will show they are a team to be contended with. High Octane comes to the ring with a look of determination we haven't seen from them before. They go right after SDI, controlling the early part of the match, SDI comeback big, however, and work together to mechanically break down the Gauge Bros. Finally Matty hits the hot tag to Greg who clears the ring he tags Matty back in. Rhino nails Greg, but Matty catches him, and rolls him up for the win. High Octane celebrate in the ring, post match. He controls the match early on, until multiple interferences from Johnson and Deeley turn the tide in Chandler's favor. When the ref catches Deeley on the apron, however, he decides he's had enough and sends them to the back. Hernandez uses this to his advantage and comes back big. He sets up Chandler for the Superkick, but Barry Kingman runs down and begins harassing Bombshell. This distracts the ref and Hernandez. Casey Valentine comes in with a chair and hits Hernandez in the back of the head. Chandler covers him for the victory. The two teams stand nose to nose at the bell, and begin brawling before it even rings. The match quickly spills outside, where Hell's Bouncer sends Dallas into the ring steps while Dean does the same on the other side to Darkness Warrior. Both teams continue to fight in the outside, using the rail and ring steps and whatever else they can find to hurt each other with. Back in the ring, The Army of Darkness set Dean up for a double chokeslam, but Dean breaks it up, sending Hell's Bouncer to the outside. Dean gives Darkness Warrior a Canadian Lariat followed by Dallas's Murder on the Mountain and Dallas covers him for the victory. Before the match, the 2GS deny any involvement in the attack once again, but the Blondes don't believe them and attack them with a viciousness they've not shown before. The Blondes, especially Mercury, have all but abandoned their high flying style in favor of just pounding their opponents. There emotion, of course, leads to mistakes, and the 2GS use it to their advantage. They use quick tags, and work Love over much in the same way that the Blondes usually do. Finally Love hits the hot tag, and Mercury comes in, cleaning house. Kingman attempts to interfere, but Quine neutralizes him, re-injuring her arm in the process. The distraction allows the Blondes to hit Vessey with a double dropkick, but Chord comes in, knocking Mercury out of the ring in the process, but Love catches him with the Love Gun and covers him for the victory. The Can-Am Blondes retain. Mercury comes back in the ring and is about to continue the attack on 2GS... [CENTER][B][U]Post Match[/U][/B][/CENTER] A video begins playing showing the attack on Quine. A masked figure is shown attacking her, while a woman laughs behind the camera. The attacker is also clearly a woman. it then cuts to a black screen and the words WRONG ANSWER appear on the screen. You can see Chord telling the Blondes that they told them it wasn't them. For the most part they keep it clean, although Kunomasu pulls a dirty trick here and there. They keep going at each other with more itensity, hitting false finish after false finish. Reed catches Kunomasu and puts him in the Dread Lock. Kunomasu makes it to the ropes, and as they break Kunomasu schoolboys him, but Reed reverses and gets the Dread Lock on once more, and Kunomasu has no choice but to tap. Gilmore gives Jessie a wink before the bell, which helps Law catch him off guard as it rings. While Gilmore is happy Jessie can't get to him, he also seems to be at a disadvantage with no chance of interference on his behalf. Eventually Law gets the upper hand, but Ms. Pearce's constant taunting of Jessie has been to much and Jessie breaks through and the two begin to fight. Law hits the long arm of the law, but the ref is distracted by the cat fight. The confusion allows John Anderson to run down and slide a chair to Gilmore, who hits Law with it. He then gets the referee's attention and covers him 1..2..3. Mr. Gilmore wins. He retains his title and Jessie must return to the corporation. Jessie looks shocked at ringside as the result is announced. While others tonight has been emotional in looking for revenge, Enygma looks cool and collected. He teases the monster as the bell rings, trying to bait him into a mistake, he finally does as Angel rushes in on him, and Enygma takes control of the match. He continues the strategy using his quickness advantage to its fullest. Angel finally does catch him, and begins brutalizing him. But, he makes another mistake and Enygma comes back. He sets him up for the Enygma Variation. But Nemesis grabs the baseball bat and comes into the ring and attacks Enygma with it. The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Angel of Death. they continue the assault after the match, with Angel of Death hitting two Hades Bomb's on Enygma. The Stone Siblings come out to assist and Vibert also jumps into the ring. Mitch Naess points out that under the rules, since Enygma did not win the title and would be competing in the Royal Rumble Match, but that he was in no condition to do so. Vessey is working on Acid, while Reed is working on Kunomasu. Vessey dumps Acid (7). Reed dumps Kunomasu (8). Vesey then sneaks up behind and eliminates Reed (9). Vessey and Montero fight it out while Stein works over Stone. Rick Law fight back against Gilmore and Anderson and eliminates Steven Grayson (22) Enygma tries to eliminate Anderson, but still hurting it is he who gets sent over the top. Enygma (23) Johnson and Deeley have Dan Stone almost over, but Jeremy Stone lifts them both over while Dan slides back in. Johnson and Deeley (24 & 25). With help from Gilmore, Anderson eliminates Rick Law (26) who is clearly unhappy. That Leaves The Stone Siblings and Gilmore and Anderson as the final four. Jeremy and Gilmore are fighting on one side while Dan and Anderson are on the other. Stone lifts Gilmore over the top rope and eliminates him. Gilmore (27). Anderson tries to Irish whip Dan, but Dan reverses it sending him right into Jeremy who has just eliminated Gilmore, The momentum sends Jeremy Stone over the top rope with some help from Gilmore Jeremy Stone (28). Dan Stone immediately comes in and clotheslines Anderson (29) over the top. Dan Stone Jr. has won the Royal Rumble and will face the XWA World Champion at eXtravaganza in February. He celebrates in the ring as Jeremy Stone looks on.

Whether he was teaming with his brother or on his own, Stone had great match after great match, culminating with the Match of the Year against John Anderson and a victory in the Royal Rumble. He now works as a trainer for XWA in their development program. At 33, he's still young and could come back for another run as his "loser leaves town" loss was more about Nathan Coleman than him. The two then go head to head, putting on a great technical match. They trade counter-hold after counter-hold. Acid goes for the Acid Drop, but its reversed. Kunomasu gets the Kunomasu Vice, but Acid gets to the rope. They begin hitting near falls left and right as the announcer tells us that the match is close to the limit. The Bell rings. The two men have wrestled to a 15 minute time limit draw. The announcers stand up and applaud both men as Xplosion goes off the air. I tried to do a different roster and bring in more characters than just trying to get the best stats. My ratings were rough in the beginning untill I tweaked my product to focus more on overness rather than equal where I had it set. Also, I should mention if anyone is curious Purple Haze is Danny Fonzarelli/Jay Darkness. As I had already branded Raul as the "Darkness Warrior" I didn't want to just change his name, but I did want them as a team. I originally called him "The Acolyte" but as I was outlining the show, I just didn't like it, so I started thinking about Kevin Sullivan's Army of Darkness and I remembered the Mark Lewin character "Purple Haze." I normally don't like to use real names but it was 25 years ago. I combined two of his alts and changed the coloring, and he's one of my favorite new characters.
