UFC-KING Posted June 19, 2008 Author Share Posted June 19, 2008 BREAKING NEWS FROM BLURCAT.COM Dante Rivera and Denis Kang, have both pulled out of the Grand Prix to Move up to Light-Heavyweight... Murilo Bustamente has injured himself in his last fight so will be unable to act as alternate. Ryuta Sakurai has also injured himself and pulled out of the tournament Due to both Alternates Pulling out of the Tournament, Luis Sapo and Daniel Acacio were willing to replace Denis Kang and Ryuta Sakurai Henrique Santana will now be the Middleweight Alternate So here are the new middleweight brackets Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Luis Sapo Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Daniel Acacio Luis Firminho, No 1 Alternate has pulled out of the tournament due to personal issues. Jung Bu-Kyung is now No. 1 Alternate and Firminho will be No. 2 Mitsuhiro Ishida, Will be out for 2 Months, due to a cut sustained in his last match.
