Only thing that you should do when playing is run TEW08 in the administrator mode :) Have you tried the trial? I'd recommend it if you are unsure if the game works on your computer. There was a thread like this right after the game was published, and it ran perfectly with everyone (?? I can't clarify that 100%, but I remember that there were a lot of replies in which users said it ran perfectly for them, and very little or none comments in which the game didn't work).
