The AWA (American Wrestling Association) this time will feature stars like Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, MVP, Shawn Stasiak, Chuck Palumbo, Test and many other wrestlers. Among them, The Undertaker, John Bradshaw Layfield, Ric Flair were among them. AWA will try to sign some of their talent. Saturday, July, 2008 - Week 1 : - TJ Wilson, Kenzo Suzuki, Super Crazy, Hardcore Holly, Shelton Benjamin, Rene Dupree, Shannon Moore, Krazy K and (Referee) Mickie Henson have all signed with AWA. Sunday, July, 2008 - Week 1 : - Apolo, Charlie Haas, Gregory Helms and Crazy Boy have all signed with AWA. Monday, July, 2008 - Week 2 : - Scorpio Sky, (Announcer) Bryce Remsburg and (Referee) Mark Johnson have all signed with AWA. Tuesday, July, 2008 - Week 2 : - Colt Cabana has signed with AWA. Wednesday, July, 2008 - Week 2 : - Ron Simmons has taken over as the new owner of the AWA. Simmons will also be a Road Agent. - Monty Brown has signed with AWA. Thursday, July, 2008 - Week 2 : - AWA has made a PPV deal with InDemand. Sunday, July, 2008 - Week 2 : - Jonny Storm and The Blue Meanie have both signed with AWA. (Rating = D+) 2) Sabu defeated Scorpio Sky in 14:32 by pinfall with an Arabian Facebuster. (Rating = C-) 3) (Hardcore Match) Tommy Dreamer defeated Chuck Palumbo in 13:50 by pinfall with a Dreamer DDT. (Rating = C+) 4) (20-man Battle Royal for the Vacant AWA World Heavyweight Championship) Rob Van Dam won a battle royal in 31:37. The final four competitors also included Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Sid Vicious with Shelton Benjamin being the final elimination. Rob Van Dam wins the AWA World Heavyweight title.
