Please, please, please, improve the search on the board!

It seems like NOTHING I want to search is acceptable to the search option. I type in movie to look and see how long someone is usually gone while filming a movie (in TEW 08) because I don't want to repost a question that has already been answered and get flamed, but I'm told its too vague or something. vbulletin sucks and is the only forum soft that has a stupid thing like that. Is there a way to get rid of it?

The search is provided by the forum if I'm not mistaken if they were to 'improve the search' they'd have to use a whole new forum engine. That's not the technically correct explanation but that's the gist of it.

i have this same issue. no matter what i search it seems to come up as too short or too common.

I post on another board that uses the same software and it's no where as bad.

Is anyone else having an issue with the image not showing for searches ? I cant search for anything because the image does not appear.

I've removed the image issue and changed the search a bit to allow more terms. Let me know how it goes.
