Jay Lethal came sprinting down to the ring and the match was on. This was a definite back and forth encounter between these two with Lethal making some mistakes against Dutt and Dutt also using So Cal Val as a shield at times. Val finally had enough and hauled off and slapped Sonjay Dutt! This helped set up Jay Lethal to hit a DDT and then that top rope elbow drop and Lethal got the pinfall![/I] [B]Winner: Jay Lethal Match Rating: C-[/B] [I]Following the match, Jay Lethal slipped outside the ring and grabbed a chair, sliding back inside and he began to pound on Dutt with the chair! He turned the chair vertical, aiming for Dutt's throat when So Cal Val hit the ring and told Lethal not to do it! A struggle ensued for the chair and Lethal knocked So Cal Val down in the corner. During the bout, a catfight ensued between Christy Hemme and Salinas that had to be broken up by Hector Guerrero and referee Rudy Charles. This left some chaos in the ring as Jimmy Rave swung that guitar hero guitar at Homicide but Homicide ducked and Rave hit his partner Lance Rock! Stevie gets only a brief advantage and Morgan catches the Steviekick and hits him with a Footprint Big Boot! Morgan lifts up Stevie --- F5! He makes the cover, staring out at Raven, getting the 3 count.[/I] [B]Winner: Matt Morgan Match Rating: D+[/B] [I]Raven hits the ring with a chair in hand and swings it, smashing Morgan in the head! Morgan is dazed but doesn't fall off his feet! Raven drops the chair and hits Matt Morgan with a kick to the gut --- EVENFLOW DDT ON THE CHAIR! Raven rises up and extends his arms out in the cross as the crowd cheers. Why does the crowd cheer? Because here comes Chris Parks! Abyss hits the ring behind Raven and clotheslines him over the top rope! A very good title defense here for Petey Williams in taking on the partner of Rob Van Dam. The match went back and forth with Bill Alfonso using that whistle to distract Petey Williams during the match and give Sabu a chance to comeback. Sabu had Petey set up for the Triple Jump Moonsault when Rhaka Khan started chasing Bill Alfonso around ringside! This distracted Sabu enough to give Petey some time to recover. Sabu took aim and leaped over the top rope, knocking down Rhaka Khan with a cross body over the top rope! The crowd really booed Kurt Angle and Frank Trigg as they came out. A very solid back and forth contest that saw some amateur techniques used in the beginning by both men. Jarrett showed some much-improved technical wrestling skills and got a couple of quick two counts on Kurt Angle. AJ Styles stepped out from the back with a large bandage on his forehead where Kurt had hit him with the belt and walked down to ringside. This distracted Kurt from his advantage and Jeff came back! Frank Trigg and AJ Styles nearly came to blows outside the ring as Jeff Jarrett set up Kurt Angle for a Figure Four Leglock and connected! The crowd cheered the hold as Angle writhed in pain! Referee Andrew Thomas asked Kurt if he gave up but Kurt wouldn't give! Kurt was slowly losing his energy and his ability to fight back against Jarrett! Frank Trigg tried to enter the ring but AJ Styles got on the apron to stop him! The two exchanged punches on the apron, causing the referee to come over and Andrew Thomas got caught with an errant shot that brought the referee down! Booker T came running down toward the ring and grabbed Styles by the foot, yanking him off the apron! Styles hit his head on the way down and Booker T moved around ringside, grabbing Jeff Jarrett's guitar! Kurt Angle is tapping! He's tapping out to the Figure Four! The crowd is cheering for the ref to get up and see it or hear it! Booker T enters the ring and raises the guitar... SMASH! Booker T smashes the guitar on the head of Jeff Jarrett, breaking the hold in the process! The crowd boos heavily as Booker T helps Kurt Angle to his feet. AJ started the match with Kurt and they each showed some solid technical skills with some quick mat wrestling, holds and counterholds and the like which ended with both men on their feet and applause from the crowd. Angle used a European Uppercut on Styles to gain the advantage and tagged out to Booker T. Booker began quickly focusing on Styles with forearm shots and a vertical suplex. Booker and Angle use some quick tags in and out to keep the fresh man in though they don't really use any double teams, not seeming to work together well as a team. This is a hindrance that helps Styles fight back and he makes the tag to Jeff Jarrett! Jarrett comes in the ring with punches for both Angle and Booker, sending Booker off the apron! Jarrett whips Angle into the ropes: Clothesline sends Angle down! Jarrett whips Angle in again --- dropkick brings Angle down to the mat! Booker T moves around the ringside area and grabs Angle's TNA World Title belt! He slides into the ring and Jarrett sees him! AJ moves in to intercept and takes a belt shot from Booker T! A pretty good match aside from the fact that these two didn't seem to click inside the ring. So there were a few botches and sloppy spots during the match. Tomko used his power in this one to combat Christian's speed but Christian started a comeback, getting slightly frustrated with Tomko and not being able to put him away. The referee was knocked out late in the match and Christian hit the Unprettier on Tomko, making a cover but there was no referee to make the count! Christian tried to revive him to no avail so The Instant Classic left the ring and got two chairs! He slid one underneath Tomko's head and looked right in the camera, mouthing 'This one's for you, Rhino' and WHAM! --- ONE MAN CON-CHAIR-TO! Rhino stared out at him for a few minutes and then went back after Sabu. He whipped Sabu into the turnbuckles and then charged and Sabu ducked out of the way! Sabu took Rhino down with a snap suplex and was tossed a chair by Bill Alfonso at ringside! Sabu set the chair underneath his leg --- ARABIAN FACEBUSTER on Rhino! The crowd was definitely in BG James' favor in this one and he got them rocking early, delivering punches to Kurt Angle and then a wind-up punch that sent Kurt over the top rope to the floor below. Kurt called for a time-out but there's no time-outs in Pro Wrestling! But he did manage to stop the momentum of BG James for a bit. BG James looked slightly off his game tonight and that helped Kurt Angle turn the tide toward his favor once things returned inside the ring. Kurt hit James with a backbreaker inside the ring and then tossed James outside. That's when Kip James showed up at ringside! Kurt distracted referee Rudy Charles while Kip put the boots to his former partner and ran him into the ringpost! Kip tossed BG back into the ring and watched as Kurt made the cover: 1...2...KICKOUT! Somehow BG James kicked out! The crowd started getting in BG James' favor, on his side as Kurt locked in a surfboard but BG James used some power and sent Kurt flying forward! Kurt grabbed the ropes to stop himself, pointing toward his head! But BG came up behind him and twirled him around --- KICK TO THE GUT --- DDT!! James makes the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! Booker has Sharmell at ringside with him and this is our main event for the evening. AJ Styles uses his speed in the early-going of the bout to keep Booker off guard and several times Booker has to slide out of the ring early on to break up AJ Styles momentum. The third time Booker does this, he is met with a somersault splash to the outside by AJ Styles! The Phenomenal One raises back up and plays to the crowd for a moment before pulling Booker T up. He whips Booker T into the guardrail and as he approaches Sharmell stands in front of him, pushing him! AJ stares at her angrily but while he is distracted he takes a shot from Booker T! Booker rolls AJ back into the ring and Booker takes over with the momentum on AJ Styles, slowing the match down and using several restholds. During this point in time, Kurt Angle comes walking out, still sweating from his match earlier against BG James. Angle has a short conversation with Sharmell, who smiles. Back inside the ring, AJ Styles has moved out of the way of a corner avalanche by Booker T and begun to take control again. Kurt and Sharmell on the outside of the ring are NOT very happy to say the least at this development. Kurt reaches underneath the ring and pulls out...A ladder! Kurt sets it up on the outside, yelling at AJ as he climbs to the top of the ladder. Inside the ring, AJ becomes distracted by Kurt and Booker begins to make his comeback once more. Kurt smiles as he sits atop the ladder watching the match. Inside the ring, Booker sets up AJ for the Book End when Jeff Jarrett's music begins to play! This causes Booker to lose his focus as he looks around for where Jeff Jarrett might be coming from. Kurt tries to assure him that he'll watch his back but when Booker turns back to AJ, AJ kicks him in the gut --- STYLES CLASH! AJ makes the cover, looking at Kurt Angle while he hooks the leg: 1... 2... 3!!![/I] [B]Winner: AJ Styles Match Rating: B[/B] [I]Kurt's jaw drops and he jumps in the ring, getting the jump on AJ Styles and locking in an ANKLE LOCK! Kurt cinches the hold in, looking out toward Sharmell, who folds up the ladder and pushes it inside the ring! Kurt releases the hold and grabs the ladder, folding AJ's ankle in the ladder and he climbs to the second turnbuckle --- FLYING STOMP ON THE LADDER!!! AJ grabs his ankle in obvious and serious pain while Kurt smiles! Kurt unfolds the ladder and climbs to the top, looking down on AJ Styles as the show comes to a close.
