Karen Angle came out here and interfered in that match to give me the tainted victory over AJ and that's not the way that I do things. So I've come out here tonight to issue a challenge. At Turning Point since Kurt Angle is already going to be facing Booker T inside the six sides of steel cage match how about we have Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles also inside the six sides of steel for the future TNA World Title shot? There will be no interference, no one sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong and we will find out who the better man is. This wasn't exactly a fair fight here as all three men remained in the ring the entire time. Stevie fought to get in any offense at all and any time he got in any offense he tried to leave the ring but Raven pulled him back in! Rhino, why have you been kicking Christian's ass the last couple of months, even laying him out into the hospital? The answer is simple. I am the War Machine but Christian gets all the credit. They say that Christian should be the superstar while Rhino is just some background player. Well, I think that I have shown that I'm not just some background player. I am a former World and Television Champion. I held both of those belts at the same damn time. Tonight after I kick Christian's ass I am going to move on to that TNA World Title picture. The match started with a slow build of athletic wrestling with neither man getting the advantage. Once both got to a vertical base, the crowd began clapping, applauding the efforts of both men. They met in the center of the ring again and exchanged some comments before Petey threw a punch and RVD threw a kick! They exchanged punch for kick before RVD ducked a punch and hit a roundhouse kick that took Petey off his feet! Petey rolled outside the ring to catch a breather but watch Van Dam --- AIR VAN DAM DELIVERY TAKEN BY PETEY WILLIAMS! Van Dam gets to his feet and does the double thumb point to cheers from the crowd. Van Dam rolls Petey back in the ring and follows him in. Petey bounces off the ropes and Van Dam hits a split but Petey jumps over him! Petey comes back and Van Dam swings his legs backward, kicking Petey Williams in the gut! Van Dam gets to his feet and hits a bridging Northern Lights Suplex: 1...2...kickout! Somehow Petey Williams kicked out of that one! Several minutes later and the momentum has shifted with the Canadian Destroyer Petey Williams on the offensive. Petey ties up RVD in the tree of woe and steps on his groin, singing Oh Canada to boos from the crowd! Petey with a few kicks to the face of Van Dam, freeing him up and he pulls Van Dam to the center of the ring, grabbing the legs --- SHARPSHOOTER!! Petey Williams locks Van Dam in the Sharpshooter! The crowd are on their feet, chanting 'RVD, RVD, RVD' trying to get Van Dam back into this one and Van Dam is screaming his pain. Van Dam tries to push up with his hands and Petey just sits back further, stretching that out. Van Dam hears the clapping of the crowd and the chanting of his name and he pushes nearer and nearer to the ropes. Van Dam is coming closer and closer and nearly --- he's got them! Referee Mark Johnson makes Petey Williams break the hold. Petey got into some argument with the official, giving Van Dam some time to recover. But Petey went back on the attack with stomps to the head of Van Dam. Petey signals that it's over and he pulls Van Dam in for the Canadian Destroyer but Van Dam blocks! Van Dam with a back body drop on Petey Williams! But Van Dam goes down to his knees as well. Both men are slow to get to their feet and Van Dam moves over toward the corner. Petey comes near and Van Dam jumps on the second turnbuckle, leaping with a sidekick --- CONNECTS WITH THE REFEREE!! Mark Johnson goes down with that blind sidekick by Van Dam! Van Dam sees what he's done and turns his attention back to Petey Williams. Van Dam with a kick --- blocked and held by Petey --- WINDMILL KICK BY VAN DAM! And Petey falls into the corner! Bill Alfonso blows his whistle as he gets a chair and sets it in front of Petey's face. Van Dam isn't going to do this, is he? Van Dam climbs the opposite turnbuckle as Rhaka Khan comes running toward Bill Alfonso outside the ring. Van Dam leaps --- HOLY ****!!!! VAN TERMINATOR CONNECTS!!! The crowd goes wild as Rob Van Dam hits the Van Terminator! Van Dam is in pain but Petey Williams is out! Van Dam moves over and pulls Petey to the center of the ring as Rhaka Khan hits Bill Alfonso outside the ring! Van Dam with a baseball slide kick to Rhaka Khan and then he heads to the top turnbuckle as Petey lies motionless --- FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH!!! The referee recovers as Van Dam makes the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! Rob Van Dam wins it![/I] [B]Winner: Rob Van Dam Match Rating: D[/B][/CENTER][/QUOTE] [QUOTE][CENTER][IMG]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA/Rhino.jpg[/IMG] vs. [IMG]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA/ChristianCage.jpg[/IMG] [SIZE=4]Rhino vs. Christian Cage[/SIZE] [I]And it's main event time as fans are still buzzing about the Van Terminator but everyone has also been buzzing about this match between Rhino and Christian Cage. Rhino has won the first two contests but can Christian win the third? It's The Instant Classic against the War Machine! These two men started the match off slow, feeling each other out and showing the other that they have counters for every move they can come up with. Christian used his speed and technical skill to get the advantage early in the match, keeping Rhino off-guard and seemingly angering Rhino because he can't catch Christian. This match isn't like their hardcore match at Genesis, though. There are rules. Christian starts to wear down Rhino, choking him on the ropes and showing that while there are rules Christian is willing to bend them to get the win. Christian puts Rhino in the corner and goes up --- TORNADO DDT!! Christian makes a cover: 1...2...BIG KICKOUT BY RHINO! The War Machine isn't ready to give up just yet. Christian continues on the offensive, using a surfboard type move to wear down his larger opponent. Christian then irish whips Rhino into the corner and comes charging in but Rhino moves out of the way and Christian hits the corner face-first and is brought down by a Rhino clothesline! The War Machine shows he's still got plenty left in the tank, lifting Christian into a scoop slam, turned powerslam! Rhino locks Christian around the waist --- BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Rhino makes the cover: 1...2...shoulder up! Rhino growls at Christian for putting that shoulder up and lays in a few stomps on the Instant Classic, crude but effective. Several minutes later, Rhino pulls Christian in a piledriver position and then lifts him up --- RELEASE POWER BOMB! Christian folded like an accordian! Rhino makes the cover: 1... 2... SHOULDER UP!! Christian still isn't going down without a fight! Rhino looks upset that that didn't get a three count and pulls Christian to his feet, whipping him into the corner. Rhino charges --- GORE! GORE! GORE! MISSES! Christian moved at the last second and Rhino went through the turnbuckles to the outside of the ring! Christian slowly gets to his feet inside the ring and moves outside, catching Rhino with a boot to the head! Christian walks over and grabs a chair! He lifts it over his head --- EARL HEBNER GRABS THE CHAIR! He's yelling at Christian that a chairshot would disqualify him! Christian and Earl fight over the chair while Rhino gets to his feet. Christian releases the chair at the last minute to move out of the way of a charging Rhino! Rhino slams into the ring and Earl Hebner moves to discard the chair. Christian grabs another chair and slams it onto the head of Rhino before dropping it and rolling Rhino back into the ring. Christian follows him in and pulls Rhino up, whipping him into the corner --- REVERSED! Christian Cage hits the corner hard! Rhino charges again and Christian moves out of the way but Rhino stops, pointing toward his head that he did something smart. Christian suddenly rolls Rhino up from behind, grabbing the tights!... 1... 2... 3!!! Earl Hebner calls for the bell! Christian Cage is gonna steal this one with his hands on the tights![/I] [B]Winner: Christian Cage Match Rating: B-[/B] [I]Christian rolls out of the ring, holding his arms up in victory and staring toward the ring where Rhino is slowly getting to his feet. The crowd was into it, wanting to see anyone beat Kurt Angle right now. Kurt looked good inside the ring against Matt Morgan and Morgan held his own. The difference came when Abyss came down to the ring and Frank Trigg distracted the referee while Abyss attacked Matt Morgan and nailed him with the Black Hole Slam. They took Homicide out with a Double Superkick and turned their attention to Hernandez, dropping him with the Click Click Boom! This is a very good match between these two, getting the fans into it on the side of Jay Briscoe. Jay got a couple of near-falls in this match but it was mostly the Masked Threat on the offensive. The Masked Threat locked in cross-face chicken wing from behind and got the submission victory.[/I] [B]Winner: The Masked Threat Match Rating: C[/B] [I]Following the match, Shane Douglas stepped into the ring with a title belt and slipped it around The Masked Threat's waist. The end came when Devon went under the ring and grabbed a singapore cane from under there. Brother Ray distracted the referee but AJ Styles saw Devon! Devon ducked under an AJ Styles clothesline and the clothesline hit Samoa Joe, knocking Joe off the apron! The match was slow at first, building toward several crescendos, like a German Suplex by Jerry Lynn for a two count and a Missle Dropkick from Christian for a two count. The crowd got psyched when Christian set up Lynn with an Unprettier but Lynn reversed it and hooked a backslide on Christian... 1... 2... KICKOUT! Christian kicked out of the backslide and then dropped Jerry Lynn with a spear, mocking Rhino! This caused Rhino to walk down toward the ring, distracting Christian a time or two and giving Jerry Lynn the advantage. Lynn hooked Christian and went for his Cradle Piledriver but Christian reversed it into a Northern Lights Suplex! 1... 2... Kickout! Christian got to his feet and turned --- GORE BY RHINO!!! Rhino gored Christian out of his boots! Booker T was accompanied by Sharmell and Angle by Frank Trigg. And our big main event here as Kurt Angle started the match against Matt Morgan. Angle did his best to outwrestle the larger man and Morgan used his size to prevent some of Angle's moves. The two wrestled to a couple of stalemates before Angle used a rake of the eyes and then a quick tag to Abyss. The crowd 'ooo'ed as they got their first taste here of Morgan against Abyss! Abyss had the advantage and maintained it for several moments, choking Morgan and going for the Choke Bomb but Morgan landed on his feet! He threw punches to Abyss, knocking the big man back into his corner! Abyss made the tag and Angle came in with several punches but got hip-tossed by Morgan and Morgan tagged in Booker T! Booker came in and made the attack on Kurt Angle! Booker took Angle down with the 110th Street Slam and made the cover: 1... 2... KICKOUT! Angle kicked out and Booker put some boots to him! Booker pulled Angle up and whipped him into the ropes --- DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! The double clothesline brought both men to the mat and had them struggling to tag out! Both men got the tag and Abyss and Matt Morgan met in the center of the ring, trading punches with neither man backing down! Morgan finally started to get the better and then Abyss came back with a kick to the gut, pushing Morgan against the ropes --- CACTUS CLOTHESLINE!! Out of the ring went Abyss and Matt Morgan, crashing to the floor! Booker T and Kurt Angle climbed inside the ring and exchanged blows while Abyss and Matt Morgan got up outside the ring slowly and began fighting out there.
