Dressed in his typical suit, he is carrying the SWF Legends belt. The ratty title belt somehow looks even shabbier tonight. He makes his way down to the ring with a microphone in hand, clearly enjoying himself. He welcomes everyone and thanks them for helping the Supreme Wrestling Federation make history. He promises that the show tonight will be on they won't forget. Tonight there will four title matches! No one else in American wrestling history has done that on a television episode. And one of those titles, the SWF Legends championship, will be put around someone's waist for the very first time. Four of the best veteran wrestlers in the SWF will compete for it, in a four-way elimination match where pinfalls will count anywhere and there will no disqualifications! Vibert takes a moment to move to each corner of the ring, showing off the homely belt. It gets a pop from the crowd, despite the fact that it might be the ugliest belt in professional wrestling history. This will only be the beginning for SWF Legends, Vibert promises. This show will make fans remember what wrestling can be. And its going to change the face of the Supreme Wrestling Federation forever. After thanking the fans one more time, he takes his place in the announcers booth. Grade: A
Duane Fry: Great to have you here, Phil. There's one moment where Biggz's quickness takes Money by surprise, but the former North American champion doesn't give up the advantage for long. He takes his time as he plays to the crowd and taunts Biggz, before putting the smaller small down with his Bank Roll suplex and nailing Dollars from Heaven from the top rope. Rich Money Wins at 8:43 via Pinfall Grade: B
Melanie Florence: That guy is a wanker. Phil Vibert: I'm not sure you're supposed to say wanker on air, Mel. Both teams work pretty well, but the combo of Thompson and Deeley prove more willing to cheat and that obviously works to their advantage. Thompson lands the Clean Cutter suplex bomb which quickly allows Deeley to get the pin on Montero. Sean Deeley Wins at 7:54 via Pinfall Grade: C
Duane Fry: And Badd Kompany finally do something to live up to the hype! Newton is wearing his typical sneer. He tells the crowd they should be honored they get to see him at all, even if they don't get to see him wrestle. When the boos die down, Newton brings out Vessey and Valentine. He introduces the two second generation wrestlers as the descendants of wrestling greatness, the scions that will define Generation Supreme along with he himself. When they are in the, Newton says the duo make up tag team Double Deuce and they will one day be known as the SWF World Tag Team champions. In the meantime, they have become part of his crew. Newton then lays into Robbie Retro for taking his SWF Generations championship. He promises that he'll get it back and soon. Ace hypes himself as the true centerpiece of Generation Supreme, and taking his title for a short bit won't change that. The 20-year old then mentions that he has one more friend who will make his presence known soon enough. The Age of the Kings will begin. Robbie Retro better watch out! Grade: C+

Akima Brave vs Darryl Devine SWF Shooting Star Championship Match The two youngsters go after each other. Both spend a bit of time controlling the action, but Akima Brave seems to have an edge due the presense of his partner and his manager both at ringside. None of the other members of Team N-R-G are there for Devine. Devine takes control of the match and looks set to win, but Kid Toma interferes and the ref catches sight of it, calling for the bell.
On the Supreme Screen, a video shows a narrow hallway backstage. Loud voices are coming from a partially open door to a locker room. The tag team champions are loudly arguing, gesturing and yelling at each other. Neither man is calm. Its tough to get the heart of the disagreement immediately, as both men are animated and not exactly conversing calmly. Gilmore says that he doesn't want to have to cheat to win any match anymore, as he feels they are better than that. He also doesn't want to try to nail every women he sees. That's just not him anymore. Through this explanation, Sexy just keeps repeating "You've changed". When Gilmore is done, his partner asks him what the hell happened to him when he was injured? Because it seems like he came back a different person. The Angry Gilmore that Joe Sexy knows and loves doesn't cheat because he has to. He cheats because he wants to. And because there's no one better at it than he is. When Gilmore says that he wants to be great at more than just cheating, Sexy tells him that you are who you are. Gilmore seems to slump a bit, deflating when he realizes its probably the truth. Two men have noticed the camera and wave it away, but it just backs off a bit and continues to watch. Quiet now, Sexy gives his partner a bit of a pep talk. He tells him that they are going go out there and prove that these two losers are nothing. They are going to do whatever it takes to win. Whatever it takes to keep their belts. Because that's what Sexual Aggression is about. That, and the ladies. And after they take care of these two nobodies in the ring, they can worry about those ladies that are just waiting to be "romanced"! Grade: B+
Duane Fry: It sure seems like our tag champs are having some problems. Phil Vibert: Angry Gilmore might be great at cheating, but he's a better wrestler. He doesn't need that edge. Melanie Florence: I don't get his name, to be honest. He doesn't seem that angry. Benson controls little of the match, as DuBois looks as dominant as he ever has. They get some pretty serious heat from the crowd. Dressed in a sharp sports coat, Rocky Golden addresses the crowd. Golden starts by telling the fans that they should get used to seeing him and his compatriots on this show, as they're here to stay. The SWF as a whole better get used to them. Better come to appreciate them. Learn to recognize Golden greatness when its staring them in the face. He promises that they will be participating in the Supreme Warfare matches at Times of Trouble. It doesn't matter against who. Because no matter who they face, they are going to win. Golden also has a few words to say about Steve Frehley. He says that if Frehley isn't worried yet, he should be. If he isn't fearful yet, he'll learn to be. And if he doesn't understand yet, he'll be forced to. That's just the way it is. Troy Tornado also has a few words to say about Chris Morrisette. He says its truly too bad that Remo stopped at getting him out of the costume. That Remo should have really ended Morrisette. And since he didn't finish the job, Tornado will. Grade: B

Valiant & Giedroyc vs Sexual Aggression SWF World Tag Team Championships Match Both teams enter the ring looking determined and ready. There is no sign of dissension between Gilmore and Sexy anymore as they hand their belts to the ref. The match starts with some solid brawling between Valiant and Sexy. Its fast-paced and exciting, and the crowd enjoys it. Things start to get tense for the champions when Valiant has Gilmore in an abdominal stretch. Sexy is screaming for his partner to gouge an eye or crush a testicle of his opponent, but Gilmore refusing, working his way to the rope instead and breaking the hold that way. Short after, Gilmore tags Sexy and gets a cold stare. Minutes later, Gilmore is back in and when he tries to tag Sexy again, the man on the outside reaches... and then pulls back. Gilmore takes further beating, then manages to put Giedroyc down for a moment with a knee to the chest. Instead of going for a pin, Gilmore heads to his corner. He goes nose-to-nose with his partner, and Sexy lashes out with a nasty elbow that catches Gimore on the jaw and drops him. Sexy stares for a moment, then shakes his head, jumps off the apron, and walks away up the ramp. With Gilmore down, it looks like Giedroyc has an easy pin. But Gilmore kicks out. The challengers continue to work over the lone defending champion, who takes a nasty beating but continues to kick out. He continues to refuse to use his trademark cheating, either. The crowd keeps looking back to the ramp to see if Sexy is going to come back, but he never does. After Valiant lands his Patriot Missle, Giedroyc follows up with his Crashing On jaw-breaker and they finally get the pin on Gilmore. Giedroyc Wins at 14:41 via Pinfall Grade: B-
Duane Fry: We have new champions! We have new champions! Melanie Florence: And that wanker left his friend! She chases them down, asking for an interview. Neither man seems very willing to talk, but that doesn't stop the cute blond from starting to ask questions. Dani asks Frehley how he feels about Rocky Golden targeting him. The Dark Destroyer explodes as the young woman, telling her that he's getting sick and tired of up-starts and wannabes like Golden trying to make a name for themselves by coming after him. He's going to show Golden and the rest of the world that targeting Steve Frehley is a very bad plan. That's just the way it is. Next, she asks about the rumors that Frehley could face his friend Jack Bruce at The Supreme Challenge for the SWF World Heavyweight championship if Bruce is still the champion. Frehley responds by saying that Jack Bruce is not his friend. This results in an awkward moment of silence, as Dani doesn't know how to respond. The silence is broken by Diaz, who actually talks for once. He says that he's the only friend that Frehley needs and the rest of the SWF is going to learn that soon enough. Any unity quickly breaks down. The match is a fairly chaotic brawl that the referee barely manages to control. Caufield ends up battling McClean while former partners Train and Roberts hammer at each other. Enforcer uses cheat shot after low blow after cheap shot, slowing the monster down. McClean and Caufield end up on the outside, and Caufield is busted open when he's thrown into the metal ring post. He loses it when he realizes he's bleeding, battering McClean down and eliminating him with a pin outside. Still raging, Caufield goes in after Roberts and Train, who are both slowing down. Caufield is put out of commission temporarily after a nasty groin shot from Roberts, who ends up on the receiving end of a Train Wreck and getting pinned. That leaves Caufield and Runaway Train. The two are both tired, with Caufield bleeding. They brawl and they brawl hard. Train just manages to catch his opponent with his Train Wreck finisher, but Caufield still has just enough to kick out. After for both catch their breath, Caufield seems energized and he goes after the former World champion. He gets his Danger Drop DDT on Train, but the big man kicks out. A bit more offense, and then Caufield tries his finisher again. This time Train seems done. The crowd counts along as the ref gets the three count. He takes the SWF Legends championship from the officials table and climbs into the ring. He makes like he's going to hand the belt to the winner and new champion but he stops. Vibert isn't smiling anymore. He stares at the bleeding face of his friend. Vibert drops the mangled belt to the blood-soaked canvas. The crowd is quiet as the two men stare at each other and no one is sure what's about to happen. Vibert suddenly gestures to a security official at ringside, who brings a dark gray metal case into the ring and hands it to the commentator. Still unsmiling and with deliberate slowness, Vibert opens the case and withdraws a belt... Its the SWF Legends championship belt. The real one. Shiny, new, and gorgeous. Silver and slate gray, the belt has a look that is both modern and traditional at the same time. The newcomer takes the advantage over the veteran when Kristen Pearce pokes her nose in from the outside and provides a distraction that Pete uses. Pete actually gets a near-pin more than once. But Faith is not easy to keep down. He fights back. He gets Pete to his knees with a jarring knee to the gut, then lays into his opponent with a nasty series of Machine Gun Faith Hammers. After a Stalling Atomic Drop, Faith lands his Leap of Faith avalanche and gets the pin. After the win, Faith spends some time playing to the adoring crowd.
Random thought of the day... is learning from the mistakes of others as key as learning from your own? How can you see the lesson involved when you don't know everything that happened? I like to consider myself a relatively intelligent person. Like any moderately intelligent creature, I learn from my own mistakes. I don't grab the hot pot a second time just to make sure that the first time really did hurt that bad. I am also decently analytical, as I will try to figure where something went wrong rather than only acknowledging that it did. This approach has served me pretty so far, both in life and in my position with the SWF. Occasionally, I overthink things, though, and its tough to know where to stop. The celebration after the first episode of Legends was massive. Richard Eisen normally has a strict no alcohol backstage policy for every show, but he hinted that he would turn a blind eye in this case. So Phil Vibert, Chris Caufield, and Rich Money threw in and bought a heap of booze. We tried to book something at a local restaurant or hotel but no one could accommodate a party our size on short notice, so we used one of the big conference rooms in the heart of The Ranch. And we partied. As everyone was giving me credit for the creation of the new show, I was pretty much the centerpiece of the party. That was both a good thing and a bad thing. It doesn't feel so bad having everyone talk you up all night, but I got the feeling more than once that some people didn't particularly like the attention I received. After a few drinks, I just didn't care. The evening got interesting. I ended up getting pretty flirty with one of pretty young ladies on the roster. It was a bad idea, because if her big sister knew, we would be catching hell. I also had some interesting conversations with a few different workers. A couple of them came up and spewed some ideas at me. I'm not a big fan of that, especially when everyone is intoxicated. Mostly workers, whether wrestlers or not, will try to pimp ideas for pushes for themselves. But one or two of them were more general ideas and I stores those away for future use. The most interesting conversation I had was with Phil Vibert. I always enjoy talking with him. The man has an amazing mind for the business. He isn't closed off about it, either. Some guys are. Someone like Jerry Eisen seems like he has a great grasp of the business, but he seems scared to let anything out unless he's around his father. As if he's afraid someone will steal his ideas. Which, to be honest, I'm probably not above at this point. A great thing about Vibert, though, is he never treats me like I'm just a kid. A drunk Phil Vibert is not just an open Phil Vibert, but also an encumbered Phil Vibert. We ended up talking about DaVE, which has always been a bit of a no-fly zone. A total no-fly zone, actually. Vibert is never willing to discuss what happened with his own promotion. I had never tried myself, but I've seen others try and been denied. He won't even discuss it interviews. The guy isn't rude about it, unless pressed, but he just won't address those questions. To my utter amazement, he brought it up. I made an off-hand comment about this party being proof of a pretty positive backstage environment at SWF, contrary to some of the rumors out there. Phil responded by saying that anyone who thought that the backstage of Supreme was problematic should have spent some time backstage with DaVE to see what "problematic" really was. Next thing I knew, he was telling me war stories about DaVE. He started telling me about how when he first took over the promotion, they would always have at least one worker no-show at every show they put on. "What we would do is tell the crowd that whoever it was had gotten into an altercation backstage and was in no shape to perform. Because of the intensity of what everyone did in the ring and how real the feuds seemed, the fans bought it. I don't think any of them really caught on to what was really happening. We developed this reputation amongst the fans as being truly hardcore because of how everyone thought the roster was beating the hell out of each in the back off-camera." "So it really wasn't that chaotic backstage?" I asked. Vibert laughed, saying, "It was in some ways. In the early days in was really crazy, but it never completely settled down even once we got on TV. I tried to keep things professional and planned, but it never seemed to work that way. We would ask someone to come in for the short term and plan for that, but they wouldn't confirm so we would change the plans. Then we'd get confirmation at the last minute and change things again pretty much as it was happening. It gave everything that "spontaneous" feel and fans loved that. But it drove me nuts." "You had some interesting personalities." "Absolutely. Guys like Tyler, Caufield, and Rodriguez helped keep the younger guys in line. Big Cat and the rest. The most interesting guy, in some ways, was Eisaku Kunomasu. The guy just had a way of carrying himself that demanded respect. He was a leader without every trying to be one. But it was really weird off the start, as he didn't speak any English. The most commanding presence on the roster and he can't really communicate at all. Strange." "So bringing in guys like Kunomasu and Pablo Rodriguez... Was that a set plan or just something that kind of happened?" I asked. I should have been asking myself why Vibert was suddenly willing to talk about DaVE, but I was enjoying the conversation too much to worry about it at that point. "Both," he shrugged. "I've always wanted a promotion that showed everything. Everyone always focused on the hardcore stuff we did, but really, no one in North America was as diverse as we were. We had hardcore, we had puroseau, we had luchadores. You need the right workers to get that it all to work and that was mostly a matter of the right opportunities coming up." I wasn't sure I wanted to ask him this, but I had to. "So why didn't it work out?" He sighed, and for a moment I expected him to close back up. But Vibert explained, "You know, I've probably spent a thousand hours asking myself that question. Its tortured me. What topped the thing was finances and talent raids. But those weren't what destabilized everything, not really. There was more to it than that. Everyone likes to say we were a victim of our success. That we got big too quickly. That's sorta true." There was a hesitation, and I feared he would leave it at that. But then Vibert continued, "I think was that we grew too quickly and not quickly. We grew quickly in that some of our guys got over. And when they get over, they're going to get noticed. And to be honest, I knew we would lose some guys. I knew that guys were going to make more money and work on a bigger stage if they jumped, and I can't blame them for that. I also knew that guys like Pablo and Eisaku would head home eventually. It was just the timing of everything. The only ones I hold grudges over are the guys who lied to my face about leaving." That one hung for a moment, as I obviously knew who he was referring to. Thankfully that individual was not present at the party. Shrugging before he continued, Phil told me, "But it was also because we didn't grow fast enough. I couldn't land major sponsors or a solid TV deal. Not with a network that really wanted to promote us, anyway. If I could have had that stuff in place, I could have offered guys guaranteed contracts for solid money. Considering where we were when I took over, we grew pretty fast but just not fast enough. I tried but we couldn't get mainstream enough." "I loved the variety DaVE offered," I admitted. "I also loved the hardcore stuff. But is that why the growth was slow? The mainstream fans not accepting that?" "It was just timing," he answered. "I think you can get almost any kind of product over if the timing is right. And that was the great failing - the timing wasn't right. If I could have got DaVE a TV show and some national exposure in the late 1990s, I think we could be where Cornell has Total right now. We were offering what no else was at that point. Other than John and Cornell that once on Supreme TV, no one in the mainstream was doing hardcore stuff. No one was doing much high-flying stuff. No one was doing shoot-style promos. No one had the really edgy storylines. We're doing a lot of that stuff before pretty much any other promotion here in America, but by the time we were bigger enough to have average fans notice us, everyone else was doing it to some extent." "That's true," I observed. "I remember some of the stuff you guys were doing back then. As a young fan, it just blew my mind. The first time I saw you guys do shoot-style promos, I had no idea what to think." "Yeah, stuff like that was fun," he admitted. It was more than a bit wistful. "We really did try to push the envelope. Not that actually we came up with a lot of that stuff... Just like everyone in this business, someone else did it first and stole it, but we tries to bring in to mainstream American audiences." "Would you do it again? Try over?" "No, not right now," he answered after a moment. Then, "In the future, who knows? The landscape would have to change a bit. And I definitely wouldn't do things the same way again. Working here is definitely making me realize how smooth these things can be run." I laughed, but I had to ask, "What brought you back?" "Sometimes I ask myself that, too, Avatar," Vibert answered. "I needed some time away. Those six, eight months... I needed time to put it in perspective. When Eisen came calling, I almost said no just out of instinct. But I realized its just a business. At the end of the day, its about a paycheck and having food on the table. Sometimes that matters more than ideals." I wasn't quite sure what to say to that, but Vibert changed the subject a bit. He told me, "Great work on getting that belt. Beautiful work." "Yeah, it looks even better than I thought. And that segment came off great." "Where did you get that belt from again?" "Friend of a friend," I told him. "Guy calls himself Reaper. Does amazing work with the belts." "No doubt. What about the other ones?" "They'll be ready in time," I assured Vibert. Before I could say any more, the entire party was interrupted by Max - aka The Guru - running into the room screaming his head off. He was carrying his laptop. When he tried to come to a halt, he tripped and crashed onto the carpeted floor hard. His open laptop went spinning away. The room full of drunks laughed, but Guru didn't seem to care. He raced over to his laptop and made sure it was still function - sturdy little thing - and then he finally managed to tell us what he was so excited over. "They fell to cult!" he declared with glee. The party shut down for the time being, a mass of people huddled together around Guru's laptop while he showed us. Sometime during the evening, the Totalextremewrestling.com website had updated its promotion size rankings. Based on very mediocre shows both Monday and Tuesday, Total Championship Wrestling had dropped from International level to Cult. They skipped right through National. Quite a fall. That became the dominant topic of conversation. Some people were saying that the Tuesday Night War was over and we had won. Others said it meant nothing. I honestly wasn't sure. The TEW is one of the most respected professional wrestling sites out there, and its completely independent. The entire industry uses its rankings systems and awards as the benchmark. But promotion popularity isn't the easiest thing to measure. To complicate matters, the website refused to release the exact criteria that it used to measure and the formula it used to calculate. So how accurate can we consider it? I ended up sitting in a corner, musing and mulling. I wanted to talk more with Phil Vibert about DaVE, or flirt some more with the young ladies on the roster. This news consumed me, though, and I could not stop thinking about it? Why had TCW fallen? There were two reasons. One was our roster raids. Taking away talent like Barrowman, Golden, and Tornado hurt. Tana and Pete not as much, but Cornell couldn't replace them will equally popular workers. The raids had definitely hurt. But the raids had only been a part of it. The other part was the second show. In March, when we added Generation Supreme as a B-show, Cornell added TCW Wrestle Grand Prix on Monday nights. The show had consistently been pulling solid ratings because it didn't have any other wrestling shows to compete against. But the quality of the shows themselves had been in consistent decline since the show debuted. Supreme taking away popular and talented workers had obviously helped that process. As much as I wanted to place most of the credit on the roster raids, my mind kept coming back to the addition of the second A-levels show. TCW had overextended themselves. They couldn't do two shows with the roster they had. We had just added a second show... at my suggestion. Could the same thing happen to Supreme? I couldn't stop thinking about that possibility. Could the SWF handle the second A-level show? Was our roster big enough and deep enough? Over enough? There was really no comparison between TCW's roster and the SWF's. They had no one who was a major international star outside of Tommy Cornell and Sam Keith. RDJ and Baines remained pretty over in the US. But they had main eventers like Hawkins and Rahn who were no more over than some of our midcarders. Pretty much everyone in our main event qualified as an international star. Supreme was far bigger and better equipped to do a second full show. But why was I worried, then? The good news ruined what was left of the night for me. I did end up taking that flirty young lady back to my hotel room. Or she took me back to my room, to be my honest - I had painfully little to do with the proceedings. And I probably would've regretted that in the morning or the days following, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about the fall of TCW. I should be celebrating. This should be a crowning moment of glory like it seems to be for everyone else at Supreme - the vanquishing of ones enemy. But I can't help but see the lesson there, and that makes me question what we're doing now. It makes me question every decision I've made. For the first time since I joined the SWF, I'm not perfectly confident in what I'm doing. I am desperate to learn from TCW's mistakes. I want to make we don't repeat them. But how can I learn exactly what those mistakes were? None of the guys we've signed recently were involved with the backstage stuff enough to know the inner workings of Cornell's cadre. I need to know and I can't know. Unless Tommy Cornell is willing to take a phone call from me and discuss the recent slide of his promotion... Now there's an idea... I would like to take a moment here to thank Reaper for the great custom title belt renders he's done for me. The SWF Legends belt is the first of several. Unfrortuantely, I can't debut the others just yet as they are part of the storylines. But I want to thank Reaper for his work as it was awesome of him to even offer, and even more awesome to come up with great as he's done. The full-size version of the belt can be seen on the front page, as the champions list has been updated. Please note that the roster split as shown on the front page is not finalized and won't be until the storyline of the split is told. Which shouldn't be too long. Hope everyone is still enjoying reading this.
Badd Kompany came in with much fanfare but have basically been jobbers.
Yes, they have been. I probably brought them in sooner than I should have, but I wanted to gain some experience as a tag team before they got the push I have planned. I'm a lot more comfortable pushing a tag team with E or E+ experience than one with F- experience together. And much like Ray Diaz, the duo of Thompson and Deeley have been getting some wins over jobbers on the B-show. I do have a storyline planned for them, which should be fun. It will be kicking up soon enough. This one was one of the stories that got pushed back a bit because I simply needed more air time which I now have. I could have done more stuff on the B-show but I prefer to use that strictly for developmental purposes. I will also mention that seeing as I'm a bit rejuvenated now to keep going with the diary for awhile longer, I'm looking at my writing style a bit. No worries about changing up the Avatar kayfabe segments. It seems like those are popular and I have no intent to change those at all. But examining what I've done so far, I don't think I've got the storylines and characterizations across as much as I'd like in the show write-ups. I've put in a fair amount of work creatively and its not coming across as much as I'd like. So I'm going to try focusing on that a bit more. No monster changes to the presentation, just tweaking on the focus a bit. As always, any feedback or comments are appreciated.

The Fry Report Preview
Every week on The Fry Report podcast will provide the latest information on everything Supreme. News, rumors, and interviews, all brought to you by the incomparable Duane Fry. Preview for podcast available Monday, Week 2, June 2008 "With Times of Trouble 2008 just days away, things are getting heated. There are two shows left before the pay per view, and fans cannot to miss either!" "If you missed the first ever show of SWF Legends, then friend, you missed a whole lot! From what appeared to be the breakup of Sexual Aggression, to Valiant & Geidroyc winning the Tag Team titles, to Chris Caufield winning the SWF Legends championship. It was a memorable show, no doubt. Whatever happens with Legends, the first show gave it a lot to live up to!" "Speaking of Sexual Aggression, the way that Joe Sexy walked out on Angry Gilmore during the match stunned everyone. Sexy is expected to be at Supreme TV this week and will asked to explain himself. As for his partner - or is now former partner - Gilmore, he earned himself some new fans with his refusal to give up when having to face Valiant & Giedroyc by himself. This one should be fascinating to see how it plays out." "It looks like Valiant & Giedroyc may be asked to defend those titles at Times of Trouble. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, rumors say it will be a Tag Team Supreme Warfare™ match. Which is similar to the regular Supreme Warfare™ format, except its four tag teams and everyone starts in the double cage at the same time. The Amazing Bumfholes are facing The Samoan Wildboyz on Supreme TV this week in what's being looked at by some as a qualifier match. The big question is - will the former champions Sexual Aggression sort their differences out and try to get back their belts?" "On Generation Supreme last week, Ace Newton challenged Robbie Retro to find three partners and face him and his "Four Kings" at Times of Trouble in a Supreme Warfare™ match. Newton also promised to introduce the fourth member of his stable this week on Legends. I have a few hints on who that fourth member might be, and who Robbie might pick as part of his team." "Has Rocky Golden bitten off more than he can handle? "The Golden Boy" has decided to try to take down Steve Frehley to make a name for himself. Its certainly a way to make your mark. But when I spoke to Frehley recently, the former Heavyweight champion was not happy about being targeted. He seemed as focused and intense as I've ever seen him. And a focused Dark Destroyer is a very dangerous Dark Destroyer." "Not that this weeks Supreme TV can quite live up to the four championship matches featured on SWF Legends last week, but there are two title matches scheduled for the show this week. One will see Robbie Retro defending his Generations belt. The other will see an unlikely and difficult challenge for SWF North American champion Marc DuBois, as the Canadian will have to face Remo! It could turn out to be a short title reign for DuBois!" "Jack Bruce is not only competing in the Supreme Warfare™ main even at Times of Trouble, but defending his belt against Eric Eisen. There are quite a number of people upset over that, though not who you might expect. There are a few wrestlers who have admitted to me that they feel slighted that The Chosen One is getting the shot at the SWF World Heavyweight championship. Does he deserve it? Can he fulfill his father's dream and take the belt away from the Long Island Angel? This is big topic of discussion, so don't miss out Podcast this week!"
Every time you step away from the ring with your story it feels real and human. No better compliment then that in my book.
Wow, thanks. I do take that as a compliment. I try to have fun with the segments, throw a few little inside jokes into a lot of them. I'm just glad they're being enjoyed.

It begins with Richard Eisen and Phil Vibert across from each other at a table. The appears to be a high-end hotel room with the curtains drawn. Eisen and Vibert stare at each other across the table. Eisen breaks the silence, stating that he has talked Vibert's proposition over with his advisers and that its going to be accepted. Eisen will control Supreme TV while Vibert will have control over SWF Legends. The CEO says that he still doesnt' trust Vibert, but at least he'll only be messing up half the promotion, not the whole thing. Vibert listens. He says that he agrees to the arrangement. He then tells the CEO that some day he will realize that Vibert was never trying to do anything more than what he was hired for. No conspiracy and no hidden purpose. Just a contracted task that he was trying to fulfill. It doesn't get any more simple than that, says Vibert. Eisen stares distrustfully at his employee. Rather than respond, he says there is still the problem of how to separate the roster into each of the two shows. Vibert smiles and says that he has that figured out. They'll take care of it at the Times of Trouble pay per view. Richard Eisen is ready to end the meeting, but Vibert says there is one other thing to address. Vibert says that booking booking Jack Bruce into two matches at Times of Trouble was clearly unfair and biased on the part of Eisen. Especially given Bruce's opponent in the World Championship match. The response from the big boss is that he is still in control and those are the kind of decisions he gets to make. Vibert threatens that he has some power too, thanks to his contract. And if Jack Bruce has to wrestle twice at Times of Trouble, he'll make sure that Eric Eisen does too. They two men stare each other down for a moment, but Eisen finally relents. He says that Bruce can just worry about defending his title. But Faith, Morrisette, and Frehley have to find a replacement or they will be in the Supreme Warfare match shorthanded. Vibert assures Eisen that he doesn't think that will be a problem and the meeting is over. Grade: A
Peter Michaels: So the roster is going to be split? Tornado agrees with Golden, saying that they didn't come to the SWF to find a bunch of old guys. He also reminds those geriatrics - Caufield, Tyler, and Barrowman - that Supreme Warfare is four-versus-four... Tornado says that his side already have their fourth picked out and ready to go... Runaway Train talks about how he and Guru have gone through a lot together. How Guru has been there by his side the entire time he's been in the SWF. How Guru was so instrumental in his two world title reigns. How they had some good times in the past. Guru is agreeing and slowly starting to pay attention. He is escorted down the ramp by a wall of heat from the crowd. Sexy seems to revel in it. He gets to the ring and it still takes a bit of time for the crowd to quiet down enough for him to speak. He says that everyone keeps asking him the same thing - why did he leave Angry Gilmore behind last week? He mocks the question, and says he did it because he wanted to. Because he could. And because Gilmore needed to be taught a lesson. Sexy then says he's been friends with Angry Gilmore since the Canadian joined the SWF. That they've tagged together for a long time. That they've been friends for a long time. They worked well as tag team partners and as friends because they loved the same things - winning, cheating, and women. And they were clearly good at all three. Continuing, he tells the crowd that the Angry Gilmore that came back from injury wasn't the Angry Gilmore that he knew. It was as if someone had replaced him. Suddenly he wasn't so keen on the W.C.W anymore. Suddenly he had some sort of "honor code". How can someone just change like that? And worse yet, Gilmore refused to acknowledge that he had changed. Kept trying to say he was the same old guy, when he clearly wasn't. Because of that change, Angry Gilmore became a person that Joe Sexy just couldn't be partners with. Couldn't be friends with, really. That change is what made it all happen. So it wasn't a choice made by Joe Sexy. It was a choice made by Angry Gilmore that left Sexy with no options but to do what he did. Sexy tells Gilmore that there are many other partners out there that he can find and hold back, just like he did for Sexy. Gilmore responds by saying they aren't done. Far from done. Because Gilmore wants Sexy in a ring again. But not at a partner. Gilmore wants a match against Sexy at Times of Trouble 2008. Sexy laughs off the challenge, saying he would love to teach Gilmore a few things in the ring. But he's already got a match at the pay per view. Sexy is participating in the four-way tag team match. Money is dressed in a casual suit, while Remo is ready to wrestle. Its the old Moments With Money set. Rich Money: Its been a long time since we've had one of our Moments with Money segments. Far too long. I thought we had to bring this back so that I could take a few moments to address the regions of Money-maniacs out there. Things have got so busy in the past few months that I have neglected to keep you all updated and I apologize for that. Remo: At least the Alpha Dogs of Supreme take care of their fans, Rich. Unlike some certain Supreme Legends. Rich Money: Very true, Remo. But we're not here to point out truths about others or sling mud. We're here to talk about me. Because despite how much fun it can be at times, it isn't easy to be me. A perfect example was SWF Legends last week. I was asked to be on the very show, which should have been an honor. Yet I'm not asked to participate in the match for the SWF Legends championship. Not that I wanted the thing, to be honest. But what better man to bestow the necessary prestige upon a new title than Rich Money? Really, its the lack of respect behind the lack of the offer. The principle behind it, if you will. Because in an organization like the SWF, principles is all we really have. Once those are gone, what are we left with? Remo: Anachy, Rich. Rich Money: Absolutely, my friend. Anarchy. Now maybe it was an intentional slight from the powers behind the Legends show. Perhaps they dont' feel I'm veteran enough. Or hardcore enough. But I can flat out brawl with the best of them. The diverse veracity of my skills in the ring can overshadow the fact that I can, in fact, I may show off my throw down brawling skills soon enough. If they want to see the Hard Cash version of Rich Money, they'll get it! Remo: They're calling the ball, Rich. You can only play the game. Rich Money: Too true. Now something else I wanted to address is that many Money-maniacs have been asking why Remo and I are involved with Big Money Incorporated. I've heard your questions and I'm here to answer. Its really just a marriage of convenience. Emma has her uses, if you know what I mean. But seriously, Emma has done some good work for Remo and me. Such as getting Remo a shot against Marc DuBois tonight for the SWF North American championship. A match and title that my friend here undoubtedly win. Remo: Time to bring that belt back into the Big Money Incorporated family. Rich Money: And I know you'll get it done. And Emma is also working to set up a world title match for me. Being that "Mr. Show Time" Jack Bruce has never actually beaten me. Its a chance I deserve. Really, we all know it should be me getting the title shot against Bruce at Times of Trouble. But I respect Eric Eisen, and if he isn't able to get the job done, I know that I won't get passed over again. Emma will make sure of that. Rich Money: Which brings me to my next point. Which is that Big Money Incorporated is necessitated by the existence of undesirable elements within this promotion. Much like a beautiful beset by the cancer of organized crime, you can't ignore these elements or the weaken the structure of the whole. We won't allow that! So we won't just put up with a disrespectful, dishonest champion who leads a lifestyle that makes mine look saintly. And we all know that Rich Money is no saint. Remo: Sinning is more fun, anyway. Rich Money: No doubt. If the "Manhattan Transfer" Jack Bruce was the only cancer in the SWF, I could probably accept that. But you have washed-up has-beens like Christian Faith still screaming about "having faith" and crying over their poor defiled effigy... Doesn't it say somewhere not to worship false idols? Now we have kids - kids! - running around and trying to make people believe they are relevant? A 20-year old with my old title? Please. Bumfhole Dominant? I don't even need to say how unpleasant that sounds. These kids have no business running like they belong, like they've earned the right to talk themselves up and boast. Like they've accomplished something in this business already. Remo: Well, those butthole guys have won the tag titles twice. Rich: Irrelevant, Remo. Irrelevant. These kids should be staying on that Generations show they set up for them. That's their playground. This is where the big boys play. And I think we're going to have to show them that. You can start tonight with the DuBois kid. We're going to have to show these punks that you have to earn your stripes around these parts. There are no easy paths in the Supreme Wrestling Federation. No free rides. The youth of American and the youth of this promotion need to learn that. I'll be the teacher. You can bank on that. Because I'm money. The young champion seems to have the support of the fans, for the most part. Remo controls the action early, as he simply overpowers DuBois and dominates him. It looks like it could be over early, but the champion kicks out. An out-of-nowhere hotshot slows down Remo enough for DuBois to take the advantage back, and he uses his quickness to move around the ring and try to inflict some damage in the bigger man. It doesn't last for long. The challenger tosses DuBois out of the ring, tosses him around outside, and hits a particularly nasty-looking powerbomb. He throws the champion back in the ring and goes for the pin... but DuBois kicks out. Before Remo can inflict more damage, both Bumfhole brothers show up and circle the ring. Remo begins yelling at them. While he's yelling, DuBois recovers a bit. He slides out of the ring and goes after both Bumfholes, yelling at them. The North American champion ends up nose-to-nose with Zimmy. Remo gets out of the ring and tries to get DuBois back in the ring. Randy gets in his way, and those two begin yelling at each other. Remo realizes that referee Jay Fair is counting, and quickly gets back in the ring. DuBois is still arguing and he followed the Bumfholes halfway up the ramp. Remo looks at the ref as he counts to 8, looks at DuBois, and realizes he can't get the champion back in the ring in time. The ref his ten and counts for the bell. Both men spend time in control, and the match moves at a pretty good pace for two big guys. Christian Faith ends up bleeding after a headshot to the steel barriers on the outside, but the blood just serves to motivate him. Both men go for pin attempts but neither gets that close to getting the win. Things turn grim for Faith after Golden battles back after a Leap of Faith, a move that puts most men down. Golden manages to get Faith into The Rack. Faith battles his way out of it, but he's in tough shape. The match grinds to a halt when Brandon James shows up at ringside with Emma Chase. They are simply watching, but its clear that its a distraction to both men in the ring. Then Steve Frehley shows up and climbs onto the ring apron, yelling at Golden. The referee is trying to get Frehley away, but James climbs into the ring to go after Faith, who is egging him on. With all four men in the ring and about to battle, the referee calls for extra officials to help him keep things apart as he calls for the bell and disqualifies both participants. My first A* match! Can't say I expected that one at all. Given that some of the matches earlier in the card kinda bombed, its a good thing that match and the later segments pulled the final grade up. Now I just need to finally book an A* show and we'll be all good. And Reaper, I'm going to have some fun introudcing the other renders, so you'll likely get mentioned again.

I really haven't followed this diary, but it's cool to know that you are using Nightwish's I "Wish I Had An Angel" as a theme for Jack Bruce. ^^ EDIT: Are those my alts? Yes they are! ^^ Almost forgot that you had this diary, sorry. Nice to see that you're using those pictures :)

And I was going to go with a theme song that had something to do with Bruce's rock star gimmick. But I came up with the "Long Island Angel" nickname and the Nightwish song first perfectly. I'm using quite a few alts grabbed off the site here. Many thanks for the one's you did. As well, quite enjoying the BBW diary. Hopefully you enjoy this and get caught up.
Damn missed the predictions for that last show and even though SWF is based more on overness than actual in-ring performance I was still surprised to see Faith and Golden put on an A* rated match. I'd guess that Faith is incredibly popular but how popular is Golden as well ?
I was surprised. Golden is a B across the US except for two regions where he is B+. He came into the month with B popularity, except for a couple B- regions. Not sure if it was the match that jumped him up or the strong segments he's been in. I think the B+ and A segments have certainly helped, as Golden has yet to score a big win over anyone major. Faith is actually only A in popularity right now. He's been up at A* quite frequently, as have many of my main eventers. But he dropped in May and he hasn't had any big wins since to jump him back up to A*. In a way, I can't say I'm completely shocked. I figured Faith would be involved in my first A* match. Him or Angry Gilmore. Faith is always a risk to get an A match, no matter who you put him against. He's been as consistent as anyone in North America, and may have a chance against those boys from NOTBPW for the big awards if he keeps it up. The crazy thing is that I nearly didn't book that match. I had originally booked it to be Faith against Garcia in the opener, and Golden against Tyler, with the Remo-DuBois match as the main event. Changed it at the last second as I figured that the Remo-DuBois match probably wouldn't grade better than a B and didn't want to ruin my show grade... though they really don't matter that much at this point. Glad I made that change!

Random thought of the day… if you define the label "boss" as "one who makes decisions and/or exercises authority"... what does it mean when the subordinate is the one doing those things? Can the boss still be called the boss? Does it all just come down to who signs the paychecks? I spent pretty much the entire meeting thinking one thing - "I shouldn't be here". I should have already been in San Antonio. Or at least on the flight down to San Antonio. Vibert is perfectly capable of handing everything himself. But I don't want to leave it to him or to anyone else. I want to be there myself to make sure everything goes exactly as I've planned it out. The aggravation I felt over that was hardly soothed by Richard Eisen taking a fairly lengthy phone call in the middle of our meeting. Its not something he typically does, but it sure seems like he's getting good news. I tried to not listen in. I was rubbing my bald temples when the CEO of Supreme finally finishes his phone call. He says, "Really sorry about that, Avatar. Really sorry. Big news. Hey, did you get a haircut?" "Huh?" is my response. "Uh, no, I've been bald since I started here. So... what's the good news?" I was kind of stunned by his question - how can someone so observant and detail-oriented miss such basic stuff sometimes? "That was a friend of mine who works for GNN Sports. He says that the network has just given TCW an official warning regarding Total Wrestling. He's certain they are going to pull the show regardless, as the network feels that Cornell can't compete against us on Tuesday Nights," Eisen gushed. He wore a smile of victory. "That's... good," I told my boss, unsure if I was telling the truth or not. "That leaves them with Grand Prix, though." "Not worried about that one," Eisen assured me. "The ratings are still pretty strong, but its because there's no competition for them on Monday nights. In the fall, they'll be going up against football and the ratings are going to plummet. They could lose that show then, too." He couldn't stop smiling. Ever since he got the news about TCW dropping, the Supreme supremo had been pretty much walking on sunshine. I had never seen him consistently in such a good mood. He was not the only one. A lot of people around the promotion seemed to be pretty impressed with themselves. The whole situation still had me worried, though. I couldn't enjoy it like everyone else seemed to. "Alright," I shrugged. "Any word on more cuts?" Eisen shook his head. "Not after that first one. Still can't believe that one, though." Total had expanded their roster after hitting International status a few months ago, and looked to be trimming it down again after their drop. Almost all of those guys were on written contracts, which meant they were getting paid every month regardless of whether they perofrmed. If Cornell lost the second show, they definitely couldn't make use of most of those guys. To survive financially, they had to make cutbacks. "Their loss, our gain," I replied. TCW's first roster cut had been a pretty big surprise to everyone. "Do you think we'll get him signed in time?" Eisen asked, sounding worried. How should I know? But I answered, "Hopefully. Unless he wants to go to Japan or something. You never know, I guess. But I expect we'll get him in." "Well, at least we have a backup plan in place," the boss said. "That was some good booking on that." "I thought so." "You still think the main event is going to go over well?" "Absolutely," I confirmed. "Its going to work perfectly." Eisen just nodded. He didn't question me too far on most of my booking choices. I had earned that much. I wondered if he had given the same leeway to the likes of Sam Keith and Peter Michaels as quickly? Did it matter? Changing the subject, he asked me, "Are you still planning on flying out for tonight's show?" "As soon as we're done here," I answered. It took a concerted not to sound impatient and I don't know that I succeeded. "Well, I won't hold you up any longer, then," he said. Then he asked, "Oh, one other thing. Those belts? How are they coming?" "Talked to Reaper just the other day," I answered as I stood up. "They're good." "No worries about delays?" "Well, he's had a bit of trouble getting the platinum pieces he needed, but he says its not going to delay things much." "Uh, platinum?" Eisen asked. He wasn't sure what to say. I shrugged and smiled. "You said make it ostentatious. He's going to make sure the belt is memorable." A nod from the big boss, as he said, "Well, whatever that takes, I guess. I'll call down and have my car down front to get you to the airport. Thanks for coming in today. I really appreciate." "Hey, anytime," I told Richard Eisen as I gave him a quick handshake and headed for the door. The thought that Richard Eisen's private limousine would be at my disposable would have seemed to impossible to me not so long ago. When I was learning my first bumps with the DeColt's, I never considered dreaming of something like this. Yet instead of enjoying it, I spend the ride being annoyed that I'm going to have to take a later flight out to Texas than I wanted to. The unlikely and surreal can become commonplace to you pretty quickly. I did end up getting to San Antonio in time to make sure everything went smoothly at the live broadcast of Legends. I'm not quite sure when tables flipped and I stopped feeling like the overwhelmed kid out of his depth. But I don't feel like the same person I was two months ago, let alone six months ago. Now I expect people to come to me with their issues and I don't feel awkward about it. I don't fear the next problem that pops up - I look forward to it as a new challenge to overcome. Pretty much nothing gets me worried. Well, pretty much nothing beyond my endless concern over what happened to Total Championship Wrestling happening to us. My new confidence with my position has extended to my dealings with Eisen. I'm not going to him with ideas to get approval. No, I'm going to him to tell him where we are going and what we are doing. And he accepts having some snot-nosed kid telling him how things are going to happen. I have to stop and remind myself sometimes that I'm not dealing with some clueless authority figure - I'm dealing with Richard Eisen, the most powerful man in professional wrestling and a man who has changed the landscape of the entire business more than once. Yet I so often feel like I'm dealing with a clueless boss. Perhaps its because I have no fear anymore of having him tell me "no". Am I going to overstep the ever-expanding bounds that Eisen has set for me? At some point, probably. Am I going to manage to abuse the massive degree of trust he has placed in me? Almost certainly? Is it going to burn the Supreme Wrestling Federation badly if and when those things happen? I certainly hope not... Maybe Cornell will need some help by that point... Or I could learn to speak Japanese... Wednesday, Week 2, June, 2008 Avatar

"I had a chance to talk to "Hard Cash" Rich Money after his heartfelt segment last night. You won't believe what he had to say!" "It looks like Enforcer Roberts has bounced back pretty quick after being kicked out of Eric Eisen's "Supreme Protectorate" last week. I've received word that Roberts has already paired up with veteran Flex Garcia. The duo has been dubbed "Last Chance" as many feel that its Robert's final chance to make his mark on the Supreme Wrestling Federation after a long career. I'll have some thoughts about this." "There are some things to discuss about another tag team. With Joe Sexy picking John McClean as his new tag team partner, where does that leave Consequences? Steven Parker has managed to accomplish little in his SWF career so far without McClean as his tag team partner. If that team is done, where does that leave the talented Parker?" "My sources tell me that Phil Vibert will have another announcement for us tonight on SWF Legends. I couldn't find out anything definite, but I'm told it will be something that could affect quite a few members of the SWF roster." Bart Biggz vs Rich Money Rich Money is your personal project, so yeah. Last Chance (Enforcer Roberts + Flex Garcia) vs Valiant & Giedroyc for the SWF World Tag Team Championships This is sports entertainment, not Crash TV. Plus Flex & Roberts seem to be official JTTS. Jacob Jett vs Angry Gilmore Jakey's going to die. Paul Huntingdon vs Darryl Devine for the SWF Shooting Star Championship Yup. Paul is not screwing the boss daughter, so he has no chance. Mass Effect (Steve Frehley + Ray Diaz) vs Black Label Fight Club (Blood Bonham + Blood Elderberry) Build up Steve & Ray as badasses. Eric Eisen vs Chris Caufield Eisen's getting a title shot at the next PPV, so there ya' go. Eric Tyler vs Brandon James Punishment for talking bad about the split...BIG CAT POUNCE! Sin Inc (Joe Sexy + John McClean) vs Warrior Faith (Christian Faith + Chris Morrisette) Through interference o' plenty. As a side note, have you thought about putting up the results to the B-Show as just that...results. That way, we know some of the JTTS and mid-carders have won a match this year? :-)

I do make mention of Supreme TV in the Fry Reports, but moreso of storyline stuff than results. I'll try to remember to start putting some of the notable match results as well. Not all of them, because some stuff I don't want to give out (guys who have yet to debut on the main shows, etc). But I will definitely start trying to throw some of that stuff in there. I realize that with just doing the A shows and PPVers, it does look like some of my midcard guys are really just outright jobbers. They get their wins on the B-show or on dark matches, but those just don't get seen.

Jacob Jett vs Angry Gilmore Jett will still put up a better fight than Biggz but this will still be a squash. Paul Huntingdon vs Darryl Devine for the SWF Shooting Star Championship I know Devine has surpassed this title but I'm not really sure Huntingdon's ready to hold any level of gold. Mass Effect (Steve Frehley + Ray Diaz) vs Black Label Fight Club (Blood Bonham + Blood Elderberry) It's time for Diaz to start picking up some wins and you wouldn't really want to transfer Frehley's overness to the repackage DWB. Eric Eisen vs Chris Caufield Caulfield's belts not on the line on this one, so daddy's favourite son wins Eric Tyler vs Brandon James Tyler's job is to put over the top talent, whilst still looking relatively strong Sin Inc (Joe Sexy + John McClean) vs Warrior Faith (Christian Faith + Chris Morrisette) Sexy and McClean might be a new duo but they're up against Warrior Faith, a team comprised of two super popular main eventers. I reckon Gilmore will get involved and cost his former tag partner the match.

The General Manager of the SWF Legends show gives the crowd a moment to quiet down before he begins. With uncharacteristic modesty, Vibert apologizes fora again starting out the show with him on camera. He says that he knows the fans aren't there to listen to him, but he has a quick announcement to make and he wants to get it out of the way quickly. Vibert says that he's already introduced a title to represent a group of wrestlers on the SWF roster that he feels are often forgotten. There is another group, one that already has a title, yet they are often forgotten as well. This group already has a championship to represent them - the Shooting Star championship. But those high-fliers have never had a division of their own. The GM waxes poetic a bit, giving some background. He says that the Supreme Wrestling Federation has always had a few wrestlers on their roster who could do some impressive things in the air. But it was really the Biggz brothers making their debut in 1999 when it took off. The flashy brothers revitalized the tag division and proved that quickness and risk-taking could be effective against much bigger men. That style has become much more common the promotion. Now the Biggz are joined by workers like the Bumfhole brothers, Darryl Devine, Marc DuBois, Los Diablos, The Samaon Wildboyz, and even Jack Bruce who are capable of doing some amazing things in the air. Because of the talent in the SWF capable of working a high-flying style and the excitement that style generates, Vibert says that he is introducing the Sky Club Division for the high-fliers. The Shooting Star championship will serve as the title for the division. The division will feature several signature matches, but any match considered a Sky Club Division match will automatically mean that the use of ladders are allowed, even if its not an actual ladder match. After a pretty big pop from the crowd, Vibert thanks the crowd heads back to the announcers table. Grade: A
Duane Fry: A whole new division? DuBois is dressed in combat pants and a black Affliction T-shirt. He's holding the SWF North American championship in a loving manner. Dani begins by asking the champ about his defense against Remo last night. DuBois says that no one believe he could do it, that he could hang onto his belt against someone as powerful as Remo. Just like they doubted that he could win the championship in the first place. DuBois says that he's tired of being doubted, but he thrives on proving those unbelievers wrong. The pretty interviewer asks the Canadian youngster about having to defend his title against two other men in a Threefold Threat match at Times of Trouble 2008. DuBois says that he has no fear and is willing to put his belt on the line against anyone. He will prove again and again that he is better than anyone who dares to challenge him. DuBois then states that the infamous Rip Chord once made the quote that it takes only one man to win a championship in the Supreme Wrestling Federation, but an entire army to defend it. That was said about the SWF World Heavyweight championship, but its true even about this beautiful belt, says DuBois. It takes an army. And my army is coming, he promises. As always, Eisen does all the talking while Runaway Train just stands around and glares. "The Chosen One" tells the crowd that being part of something as important as the Supreme Protectorate takes loyalty and dedication that most men simply don't have to offer. Enforcer Roberts didn't. Runaway Train proved he does, by getting rid of dead weight that was holding him down. Eisen tells the crowd that he has been scouring the Supreme Wrestling Federation roster to find more men - or even women - who fit the profile that being part of the Protectorate demands. He's found precious few. Most are part of the problem, which means they cannot be part of the solution. Most of the roster are self-centered and self-serving, unable to see the big picture and understand what is truly important. But Eisen believes he can find those who have the qualities soon enough. He says that a strong Protectorate is important, as he will need help once he wins the SWF World Heavyweight championship from Jack Bruce at Times of Trouble 2008. Eisen states that he intends to be a long-reigning champion, and he will bring the pride, honor, and dignity back to the belt that Jack Bruce has managed to strip away from it. Grade: A
Melanie Florence: He's another wanker. Devine is just too quick. Things change when the entire Samoan Family shows up at ringside. They provide a distraction, which allows Huntingdon to take advantage. The Shooting Star champion soon turns the match again, but he gets a heavy punch in the center of his back from Tana when he hits the rope, but the ref misses it. When Kid Toma jumps onto the ring apron and nails Devine with a nasty punch to the throat, referee Shane Stones doesn't miss it and calls for the bell. The ref then struggles to keep the Samoans out of the ring while Devine grabs his belt and clears out through the crowd. Both are in their ring gear. Faith does all the talking, with Morrisette just lending his support this time. Faith has a few unkind things to say about Brandon James, and about Big Money Incorporated. He says that this group is sympomatic of the "me first" attitude that is ruining the promotion and professional wrestling as a whole. He hasn't forgotten what the group did to his statue, nor what they've had to say about Faith himself. He says that he still wants to face Brandon James, to prove decisively that he still has it. He also says that be believes this SWF Legends show is perfect for him because, "I am Legend!". The crowd roars their approval to this. Faith then says that him and Morrisette have already found a fourth for their team in the Supreme Warfare match at Times of Trouble tomorrow night. A fourth who is going to make certain that their team is victorious. When Faith finally does face Brandon James, its only going to prove without a doubt that Faith is old. That he's done. Why not walk away when your few fans still remember some of the glory days, Chase offers. After she has finished her piece, Faith just tells the agent that they'll see what happens tomorrow night. The team work of the new team of Sexy and McClean is solid, though they don't show the same chemistry as Faith and Morrisette. The match goes back and forth, with Sin Inc showing a great proclivity for cheating. It looks like Morrisette will score the win, but he sees Troy Tornado show up at ringside with Kristen Pearce. That provides a distraction, as Morrisette and Tornado end up yelling at each other. It nearly allows Joe Sexy to get the surprise pin, but Faith jumps in just in time. Then Brandon James appears with Emma Chase. Faith chooses to ignore the big man and worry about the match, but he can't ignore him when James interferes, grabbing Faith from behind and choking him. The referee is distracted by Tornado and Pearce, but Morrisette gets the refs attention just in time and he calls for the ball. The Fry Report "Times of Trouble 2008" Preview
Every week on The Fry Report podcast will provide the latest information on everything Supreme. News, rumors, and interviews, all brought to you by the incomparable Duane Fry. Preview for podcast available Thursday, Week 2, June 2008 "The Times of of Trouble 2008 pay per view is tonight! This is going to be a huge show for the Supreme Wrestling Federation. I'm going to have a special PodCast available this afternoon to preview everything!" "The centerpiece of the Times of Trouble pay per view is once again the legendary Supreme Warfare™ double-cage matches. Two teams of four, with two men starting in the ring. A coin flip decides which team goes first, with another wrestler entering every five minutes. Once all eight men are in the ring, the match can only end by submission or referee stoppage. The Supreme Warfare™ format has created some of the most memorable - and bloody - battles in Supreme Wrestling Federation history." "Just to be clear, the only full Supreme Warfare™ match is the main event, which of course features Rich Money, Remo, Brandon James, and Vengeance versus Christian Faith, Chris Morrisette, Steve Frehely, and their mystery partner. The tag team version starts with all eight men in the ring at once, while the two other Supreme Warfare™ matches will have a man enter every 3 minutes rather than 5 minutes." "A lot of fans are concerned about the condition of World Tag Team champions Valiant & Giedroyc, after they were viciously attacked by Vengeance last night of SWF Legends. I had a chance to talk with both of them last night and this morning, and both assure me they are fine to go tonight. That attack added an extra element of concern to their match tonight." "I have been assured that the much-discussed roster split will occur tonight, with Richard Eisen and Phil Vibert having something special planned. I have not been able to get any information on exactly how that split might be determined. This is something I'm really wanting to see, as I'm sure almost all SWF fans are!" "Darryl Devine will put his SWF Shooting Star championship on the line against Enygma and Kid Toma. There has been some serious heat between Devine and the Samoan Family recently. My sources tell me that Devine was rather upset that his Team N-R-G compatriots did not show up last night when Toma interfered with his match on SWF Legends." "Marc DuBois has a major task when he faces Antonio Marquez and Runaway Train. The SWF North American championship will contested in the match. Can DuBois retain against the odds once again? I will discuss that, as well as the "army" that DuBois talked about on Legends last night." "Who is the mystery partner that Faith, Morrisette, and Frehley picked? How about the two mystery participants in the other Supreme Warfare™ match which puts Chris Caufield, Eric Tyler, Thom Barrowman and one mystery participant against Rocky Golden, Troy Tornado, Texas Pete, and the other mystery man. I have heard some serious rumors about who these men might be, but nothing has been confirmed. I'll share some of those rumors." "The SWF World Heavyweight championship will also be on the line. Jack Bruce will defend it against Eric Eisen. While The Long Island Angel has to be the favorite on paper, as he's shown amazing resilience to take on the likes of Vengeance and Remo, The Chosen One is crafty. You have to think that Eisen will have something in place to help himself out. Could that be enough to see Bruce finally lose the title? Or will he once again find a way to triumph? Watch tonight to find out!" "SWF Times of Trouble 2008 is tonight! Available only on pay per view!"
The Fry Report will be available on SWF.com or directly from iTunes.
A special feature for the Fry Report... Should have the PPV up either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. If anyone wants to make any predictions, better get them in. I know my booking is still relativley predictable, but usually with reason. This one might be a tougher, even if just because there are 3 three "unknowns". Which is making it fun to write.

Kid Toma vs Enygma vs Darryl Devine in a Sky Club Division™ Ladder Match for the SWF Shooting Star Championship I think Devine will retain the title in this match. The only wildcard here might be Sin Inc but I see you putting the belts on the long haired duo for a bit longer. Four Kings (Ace Newton, Ash Campbell, Cameron Vessey + Casey Valentine) vs Team Retro (Robbie Retro, Swoop McCarthy, Bart Biggz + Brett Biggz) Could go either way but I think Team Retro might have the edge. Runaway Train vs Antonio Marquez vs Marc DuBois for the SWF North American Championship Dubois really cements his status as North American champion by escaping this three way with the belt, possibly with some interference help, if his last promo was giving us any clues. Chris Caufield, Eric Tyler, Thom Barrowman + ??? vs Rocky Golden, Troy Tornado, Texas Pete, + ??? in a Supreme Warfare™ Match The face team won the last 4 vs 4 match, so I see the heels winning this one, plus Golden's group is being built up as a threat. Eric Eisen vs Jack Bruce for the SWF World Heavyweight Championship Bruce escapes with the belt again much to the frustration of Daddy Eisen.... Christian Faith, Chris Morrisette, Steve Frehley + ??? vs Rich Money, Remo, Brandon James, + Vengeance in a Supreme Warfare™ Match I don't trust ???, I can see him turning on his team mates and helping Big Money Inc/Vengeance to the win.
