Dyn- Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Sorry if this has already been touched upon. I'm playing a real world mod as TNA and tried to sign a few WWE workers with expiring contracts. I have not been able to get anyone to even begin negotiations with me and I thought maybe their personalities came into play when deciding on where to sign. I messed with a few personalities and still can't seem to get anyone to sign. Is it because the gap in popularity/prestige is so large?, would being at war with another company help in trying to negotiate?
Ghoul Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Is it because the gap in popularity/prestige is so large? yes that it probally is, you see tna is not as popular and dont has as much prestige as the wwe, so why shoudl wwe workers sign with you when they have the chance to stay in the wwe? it would be kinda the same when an indy fed tryed to steal your workers, they just wouldnt sign with them. would being at war with another company help in trying to negotiate? war wouldnt help you at all in this i think, the best thing is build up your talent that you have allready, get some new guys from the indys and then try to make tna the biggest company in the country and the wwe workers would sign with you.
pepper2008 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 The workers popularity may be way higher than your promotion. International Stars dont usually sign up with a National Promotions
