USPW: Raising America

Recommended Posts

[sirens can be heard off in the distance as Jack looks down at his piece of paper in his hand and then back up toward the building that looks like it's about to fall apart. It's the right address, alright. Jack adjusts his tie for a moment. Though maybe he shouldn't have dressed too nicely. After all, in this neighborhood he's likely to get robbed or killed or both. He shook his head for a moment, pushing those thoughts out as he crossed the street to the other side and walked inside the building, wrinkling his nose as that old person smell permiates the building. It is definitely a distinctive smell to say the least and as Jack looks up to the receptionist desk he sees one reason why as the old lady just smiles, tilting her head back and forth and whistling to herself. Jack approaches her slowly, standing before the desk.]

Jack Avatar

"Hello. My name is Jack Avatar. I have an appointment to see Sam Strong."

[The woman ignores him and keeps whistling to herself, typing away on some old computer. Jack leans over the counter and looks, seeing that she's playing solitaire. Great. Jack snapped his fingers a couple of times.]

Jack Avatar

"Hello there. Is anyone home?"

[still no response. Jack shook his head again. Great. Another person was slowly walking by and Jack raised his eyebrows, walking over to her. She seemed a little younger, not even old enough to drink yet.]

Jack Avatar

"Great. Hi. I'm here to see Sam Strong. Can you help me?"

[The woman turned slowly and looked at Jack.]

Nadia Snow

"I am afraid that no one can help you now. The snow shall fall white upon your body and you shall know true terrrrorr!"

[Jack just looked at her and raised both brows.]

Jack Avatar

"Alright. Terror. Got you. Thanks."

[Another nutjob. Just what have I gotten myself into? Jack wondered those words as he moved down the hallway just in time to see an office attendant go flying through one door and into another and look up with terror as a man stepped out from the door in full football gear.]

Des Davids

"Yeah that's right! Sack, baby! You know you need to focus more on your work, son! Get in the game!"

[Des turned his eyes toward Jack and got down in a three point stance.]

Des Davids

"Blue 57! Green 32! Set HIKE!"

[Des charged toward Jack, letting out a primal scream and Jack just moved to the side and Des, well, he kept running. Jack shook his head once more. Maybe this place was a former insane asylum? Jack went through another door and this time he came face-to-face with the man he came to see: Sam Strong.]

Wohoo restart you should put a link up from your old game that goes too this hope more luck this time mate. Some USPW basics 1. Increase entertainment to key and modern or realism to low or up risque/comedy. 2. Sara Silver, Mitch Naess. Jez Macarthur and Crippler as backstage crew. 3. Have faces debut vs Bruce and Heels vs Justice. 3 First three months ppv main event = Justice vs Bruce, Second to Main Caulfield vs T-Rex, Start match Valentine vs Gonzalez. 4 Sign anyone with any overness from d- and up and ppl with less overness with entertainment skills or menace. 5. Sign some ppl that can actually wrestle to make your monster heels look good or to transfer overness too. 6. Pray ya dont have to push valentine and dont get the must have this charisma law. 7. lower to 60 percent angles and start with 2 good ones and end with three good ones. the middle of the show is to work the crowd/transfer overness and or momentum and showcase the actually talented workers. 8 set intensity and danger to ten percent. 9 MENACE BASED ANGELS and angles with Sam Stron, higly recomended to write your own.

Hope this helps and good luck this time.

[Jack had stepped into a room and come face to face with an angry looking Sam Strong. Sam ran his fingers back through his hair and then offered a hand out to Jack.]

Sam Strong

"Jack Avatar, I presume."

[Jack nodded. Here we go.]

Jack Avatar

"That's right, Mr. Strong. I've come here today to help make your company a credible threat against The Supremes and the Totality of the situation."

[sam nodded and motioned as several people gathered behind him. It looked like a nightmare there. There was Nadia Snow and Des Davids and Anger and Jumbo Jackson, among others.]

Sam Strong

"I see you've already met some of our superstars. Back to your rooms now, guys."

[They all looked disappointed but followed Sam's instructions. At least he can keep them under leash, right? Sam motioned and Jack followed him into an office where it looked like the ceiling might collapse at any minute. Jack kept glancing up toward it but moved and settled into a seat. Sam sat in his chair behind a desk flanked on either side by Bruce The Giant and James Justice.]

Sam Strong

"Let's get down to business here, Jack. We're the number three company within the world and I want to be number one. I know we've got the talent to compete with each and every company. We just need a big scale to do it on. That's where you come in. It's gonna be your job to get us to that number one place by any means necessary. Well, not truly by any means. I have a few rules that you have to follow."

[sam pushed a piece of paper to Jack and Jack began to read it out loud.]

Jack Avatar

"Alright, you want USPW to be more popular in 2 years than it is right now. That's doable. I hope to do it in 1 year."

Sam Strong

"That's the spirit, kid."

Jack Avatar

"Bruce has to remain in his top position. What kind of thing do you have on Sam, Bruce?"

[it was meant to be a joke but both Bruce and Sam looked at each other uncomfortably and Bruce mumbled something that only freakish giants can understand so I went on.]

Jack Avatar

"No one that you class as a 'Super Junior.' Alright, so no Cruiserweight division. Got it."

Sam Strong

"I don't want some young, punk kid showing up Bruce here."

[sam gave Bruce a pat on the thigh and Bruce growled so Sam pulled his hand back quickly and cleared his throat for Jack to finish.]

Jack Avatar

"No one who has a low industry rep. Again, not a problem. So, that's all?"

[Yeah, I was wanting to get out of here before Bruce took the roof down.]

Sam Strong

"That's all, kid. You have a card coming up on Wednesday so you better get ready."

[Jack rose up and shook hands with Sam and then turned, walking toward the door, pausing as a woman stood in the doorway.]

Alicia Strong

"Daddy, is this the new intern?"

[A gulp from Jack as he looked over Alicia and she twirled her hair around her finger.]

Sam Strong

"Jack, meet my daughter, Alicia. Alicia, this is Jack Avatar, the new Head Booker for USPW."

[Jack watched as Alicia came over and placed her hand on Jack's chest. Sam cleared his throat and Alicia just cast a smile before moving past him and toward Sam. Jack took the opportunity to get out of there quickly. He would be getting away from being fired, being crushed and old people smell. That sounded like a plan. He passed the receptionist who was still whistling to herself and playing Solitaire and, well, he has things to do.]

[The first thing that Jack did as he took the bus out of this part of town is to contact some of his friends on the Indy scene. After all, if you can't help your friends with your spot in a high place then why even be in a high place? He left messages for guys like The Dirty White Boys, Fumihiro Ota and Wanda Fish among others. Then he looked out the window of the bus before feeling something poking him in the ribs. He looked down and there was a small pistol pointed at him and he looked at the man holding it.]

Robber

"Slide me that cell phone and your wallet nice and easy there boy."

[Jack gulped and slid the cell phone down in the guy's lap and then his wallet as well, sighing. One positive thing is that the guy just took the cash and gave him back his wallet. He shook his head a moment. Sam's office just had to be in this part of town, right? Well, at least the guy got off at the next stop and Jack slid down into his seat. But a rather rotten smell came off the person sitting next to him. Another old person. Great. Well, at least she wouldn't try to rob him, right? Ohhhhh but she is passing gas at a great rate! Jack covers his nose and mouth and moves to stand up, getting off at the next stop. It has to be a better part of town than he was in before, right? This time he hails a cab to take him to his hotel room. It's time to start putting the pieces together for the first show of the year, HIS first show for USPW and it's got to be a doozy!]

James Justice defends the USPW World Heavyweight Title against Chris Caulfield

A major main event here as USPW World Champion issued an open challenge last week and it was answered this week by the Hardcore American: Chris Caulfield! Two fan favorites going one on one here in what should be a very good match.

Peter Valentine vs. Jack Avatar

New wrestler Jack Avatar looks to begin the New Year off right, taking on the resident Heart Breaker: Peter Valentine. This should be a good slow, technical wrestling battle so long as Valentine remembers to take his geritol.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 1 January 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .38

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DarrylDevine_alt9.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SheikMustafa_alt.jpg

Darryl Devine vs. T-Rex

Danny Jillefski and Shane Sneer overshadowed Devine's entrance with welcoming everyone to USPW American Wrestling. The match was basically a squash for T-Rex. Jillefski and Sneer played it up as a big shocker there as T-Rex spent about 4 minutes annihilating the youngster Darryl Devine, finishing the match with that Jurassic Crush Bear Hug, squeezing the life out of Devine until he had to give.

Winner: T-Rex

Match Rating: D-

[Following the match, Sheik Mustafa raised T-Rex's arm and then pointed toward Devine and T-Rex lumbered over, slamming fists into the back of Darryl Devine! Sheik Mustafa even got some kicks in on Devine as T-Rex manhandled him until officials came in to break it up!]

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match: The Towers of Power defend vs. The Forces of America

This match may have been for the belts but it was a battle of who sucked more. A 7 minute TAG match exhausted Captain USA! Give me a break, pal, you didn't have to try to wrestle the whole 7 minutes yourself! The Champs beat the guys in the paint when they knocked Jim Force out of the ring and Rushmore pinned Captain USA with his feet on the ropes.

Winners: The Towers of Power

Match Rating: E

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant-1.jpg

[Now here we go! A video for a really tall guy! Nah, this guy's known around the world and he got a pretty good reception to the fact that he would be here in the ring next week. Maybe they think we're wrestling here next week too?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NadiaSnow_alt1.jpg

Alicia Strong vs. Nadia Snow

The debut of Sam's kid and a good looking woman in Alicia Strong against Nadia Snow. Snow came down a little paler than normal, speaking about the snow falling and the end of days or something like that. Alicia mostly dominated her though when they were inside the ring. The match was a little longer than it should have been, probably. But Alicia got the pinfall following a Strong Arm Tactic.

Winner: Alicia Strong

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage zoomed in on the USPW World Title belt. Slowly it zooms out to reveal the man who is currently holding the belt: James Justice! The crowd in the background cheers for the Champ.]

James Justice

"That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the champ...is...here! You're looking at the man who is set to take United States Pro Wrestling into 2K8. Chris Caulfield, I drew you tonight and that's cool. They call you the Hardcore American and that's cool. But once we step inside the ring, the only thing cool is going to be James Justice taking care of business. Now I know there are people out there who like me and people out there who are going to boo me tonight and that's cool. But they're all going to learn to respect me. Why? Because I'm James Justice, the USPW World Heavyweight Champion. Beat me if you can."

[James stared intense into the camera until the fade out.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BullWrecker.jpg

Des Davids vs. Eric The Bull

The match was about what you would expect from these two big men. Des is a definite future top star. Referee Baby Jamie made him take off the football helmet before the match started though and Des kept using some football mannerisms on Eric The Bull frustrating him with trying to push through him. Davids dodged a clothesline late and nailed Eric with a Quarterback Sack and ohhhhh the Quarterback is toast! Davids made the cover and got the 1 2 3.

Winner: Des Davids

Match Rating: E

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[The crowd cheered as the big screen lit up to show USPW Owner: Sam Strong! Sam stared at the camera until a knock came at the door. The door opened to reveal USPW World Champion James Justice!]

Sam Strong

"James! It's good to see you."

[The two popular men shook hands.]

James Justice

"It's good to see you too, Mr. Strong. Listen, I got a favor to ask of you. There have been a lot of people going around talking about my win over Bruce. Now, I saw that he's supposed to be in town next week and I was thinking about a match. Just imagine this: USPW American Wrestling: USPW World Title on the line: James Justice defends the belt against...BRUCE THE GIANT! It sounds good, doesn't it?"

Sam Strong

"It does sound good, brother. You have yourself a deal. James Justice vs. Bruce The Giant, next week right here on American Wrestling."

[They shake hands again and Justice smiles but Sam pulls him in.]

Sam Strong

"But only if you can beat Chris Caulfield tonight."

[James looks serious again and nods, releasing Sam's hand and walking out of the dressing room.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackAvatar.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine.jpg

Jack Avatar vs. Peter Valentine

Peter Valentine must be breaking some hearts down at the retirement home. That's the only place that I could see him breaking hearts. No average sane woman would really want to date him, right? Neither of these guys are that popular and that hurt the match overall. It went back and forth between these two with Valentine using some restholds to catch a breath toward the end. Valentine was able to pull a chain from his boots and wrap it around his fist, slamming a punch into Avatar's skull! Avatar went down like a ton of bricks and Valentine made the cover: 1 --- 2 --- 3!

Winner: Peter Valentine

Match Rating: D

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. Chris Caulfield

And it's main event time! Chris Caulfield was accompanied down to the ring by Seduction for this matchup and James Justice was accompanied by the USPW World Heavyweight Title belt.

And what a main event for the evening! The fans were hyped and these two showed some mutual respect by shaking hands before the match but once the match began it started with some brawling and that tended to favor the challenger. Caulfield knocked Justice out of the ring with a right hand and Seduction scurried out of the way as Caulfield joined him on the outside! Caulfield ran Justice's head into the security barrier! He whipped the Champion into the ringpost and Justice was hurting bad by the time Caulfield rolled him back in the ring. The Hardcore American made the cover:

1...

2...

FOOT ON THE ROPES!!!

James Justice saved himself by putting his foot on the ropes! Caulfield just shook his head and continued his assault on the champion. The fans were giving the Hardcore American a mixed reaction here but it's not like he's doing anything different than he normally does. He whipped Justice into the corner hard and following it up with a Sleeperhold! Justice struggled and fought but Caulfield put his weight into it, bringing Justice down to the mat. The Hardcore American squeezed the life out of Justice with the sleeper and the referee checked his arm: 1 --- 2 --- 3 --- NO! It didn't fall for the third time! James Justice's arm is still in the air! He begins rallying the crowd on his side and fighting his way to his feet.

Several elbow shots from Justice broke the hold and he bounced off the ropes, banging heads with Caulfield when he came back off the ropes! Both men fall to the mat and the referee begins the ten count! Both men stir at 3. At 6, Justice is using the ropes. At 8, Caulfield is on his feet! The Hardcore American walks over and takes some punches from Justice! The Champion with a European Forearm smash! He sends Caulfield back in a corner and climbs up, throwing punches while the crowd counts along! At ten he drops down and grabs Caulfield by the head, winding up a swing and a punch floors the Hardcore American! The crowd is firmly behind Justice though Seduction is trying to rally her man! Justice sends Caulfield to the ropes and ducks down --- KICK BY CAULFIELD! Justice no-sells it and grabs Caulfield --- LIBERATION SLAM!!! James Justice hits the Liberation Slam from out of nowhere and makes the cover:

1...

2...

3!!!

James Justice is heading to a match next week with Bruce The Giant!

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[Following the match, James Justice is handed the USPW World Heavyweight Title belt and he raises it up to a cheering crowd while Seduction does her best to help Caulfield to his feet. Justice turns toward Caulfield and walks over, offering his hand. Caulfield stares at him for several moments while the crowd stirs, wondering what's going to happen. Caulfield's hands curl into fists at his sides as he gets up. He stares right into James Justice's eyes...and shakes his hand! What a show of sportsmanship! Chris Caulfield raises James Justice's arm, showing he was the better man tonight and Justice raises the belt as the show goes off the air.]

[The show came off pretty well or so Jack thought. He hadn't seen the ratings just yet so he could only hope, right? Well, it was Saturday night and he had another meeting with Sam Strong. So it was off to that office once again. This time he made sure not to bring any money. He only brought the basic stuff that he needed in case he got robbed again. He stopped in front of the building and looked up at it for several moments, drawing in a deep breath before pushing open the door and looking around when he heard a squeak as he did that. The building looked like it could fall over any time now and he sure as hell didn't want it falling on top of him.

His eyes focused in on the area in front of him, seeing the woman playing Solitaire on the computer again so he just bypassed her for the moment. He looked ahead down the hallway and heard some groaning and moaning and then someone turned the corner...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone_alt1.jpg

Madman Boone

"BRAINS! BRAINS!"

[Madman's arms were extended out and he was walking slowly toward Jack. Jack looked at him for a moment and thought and then replied.]

Jack Avatar

"He doesn't work here. Maybe he's gone that way though."

[Jack pointed down the hallway and Boone turned, moving in that direction while Jack snuck by him and headed toward Sam Strong's office. He stepped down the hallway and turned toward the office where he was met by what can only be described as a Massive Problem...

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LandMass.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TheBigProblem_alt9.jpg

[Of course Land Mass and The Big Problem didn't both fit into the doorway or anything and they had to step back to allow Jack to get into the room and even then it was a tight fit with Sam Strong back behind his desk as well. Jack looked toward Sam like he was waiting for an explanation...]

Sam Strong

"I thought that you could use some help, Jack, so I went out and hired a brand new tag team for USPW. Introducing Land Mass and The Big Problem, collectively known as The Massive Problem."

Jack Avatar

"That's, ummm, great. Hi guys. Sam, can we talk alone, please?"

[sam looked at the two men and dismissed them with a wave of his hand and they somehow both fit through the door one at a time. Jack looked amazed at that feat.]

Jack Avatar

"So, how did I do on my first show?"

Sam Strong

"Let's have a look at the ratings, shall we?"

[sam slid a sheet of paper over to Jack and Jack picked it up.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SWF.jpg

SWF's Supreme TV drew a rating of 3.09.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TCW.jpg

TCW's TCW Presents Total Wrestling drew a rating of 2.92.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/USPW.jpg

USPW's American Wrestling drew a rating of .38

Jack put the paper down and looked at the smile on Sam's face.

Sam Strong

"You did a great job getting viewers, kid! Now, we need to see if you can continue this with the talent that you're given.

Jack Avatar

"Yeah, Sam, about that. Ummm. You gave me the authority so I went out and hired some wrestlers myself."

[Jack removed a folded up piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it, straightening it out with his hands and sliding it over to Sam. Sam read it silently before looking up.]

Sam Strong

"If you keep giving me ratings like this, kid, you can sign whoever you want."

[Jack released a breath he didn't even know he was holding. But Sam's face did not look happy.]

Sam Strong

"But I do have some bad news for you. Chris and Darryl are both gone to Rich Eisen. That means that this coming show will be their last show here on USPW. Seduction hasn't given her notice, surprisingly enough, so we'll need to find someone else for her to manage."

[Jack frowned, disappointed about losing two top stars but he expected it, thus the jobbings last week.]

Jack Avatar

"I hope some of our signings can help make up for those losses, Sam. But I need to go work on some of the television for this week. If you need to reach me, you know where to find me."

Sam Strong

"That I do, kid. That I do."

[Jack turned and left the office. Just what kind of plans did he have for USPW American Wrestling? Stay tuned to find out.]

Ooh no protection agains TCW and SWF going to get hard again hehe. More big hosses then ya know they wont steal those. (Hell´s Bouncer, hint hint plus theres a list on the boards.)

One thing that I thought hurt me in my last diary was the protection against TCW and SWF raids since it didn't make it very realistic with USPW being the number 3 group in the U.S. So I wanted to correct that for this diary.

Seconded this. I've never ever had any pacts with bigger promotions who might steal my wrestlers.. I hate when people who play US promotions as they tend to get pacts on SWF and TCW.. But, to each his own. Or something like that.

[The show begins with the cameras panning around the Huntsville Fairgrounds...]

Danny Jillefski

"Hello everyone and welcome to USPW American Wrestling! I'm Danny Jillefski with my new broadcast partner: Mario Heroic. Mario, you have come here at the right time as we have an epic battle tonight with James Justice defending the USPW World Title against Bruce The Giant."

Mario Heroic

"Danny, both of these men are crowd favorites so it will be interesting to see who the crowd cheers for."

Danny Jillefski

"These fans are fickle, Mario. Haven't you figured that out yet? They'll cheer for whoever's winning."

Mario Heroic

"If it wasn't for the fans, we wouldn't be here, Danny. But, let's head up to the ring for our opening bout..."

T-Rex vs. Chris Caulfield

Seduction brought the Hardcore American out for one final time here in USPW to take on T-Rex, who was accompanied by Sheik Mustafa. This was a pretty good match. When Caulfield had the advantage, he was met with 'Please Don't Go' chants from the fans here. T-Rex came back and locked in the Jurassic Crush, getting the final submission from Caulfield and a victory.

Winner: T-Rex

Match Rating: C-

The Dirty White Boys debut vs. Eric The Bull and Lex Appeal

Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild' brought the Dirty White Boys down on their motorcycles and they got more cheers for their entrance than they did for anything that happened within the match. The crowd mostly sat on their hands for this one and it was dominated by the DWB. Grease Hogg pinned Eric The Bull following a Grease Spot.

Winners: The Dirty White Boys

Match Rating: E

[Following the match, Danny Rushmore and Mick Muscles came running down to the ring and attacked the DWBs! The Towers of Power crashed their USPW World Tag Team Title belts into the back of the DWBs' heads! Rushmore and Muscles smiled as they stood over the Dirty White Boys and we learned from the announcers that these two teams will meet at USPW Stars, Stripes and Slams.]

The Massive Problem debut vs. The Hillbillys

The Hillbillys didn't have a chance in this one and everyone knew it. Hell, they had to reinforce the ring just so that the two big 400 pound wrestlers wouldn't collapse it! The crowd again sat on their hands for this one and Massive Problem dominated. The Big Problem pinned Al following a Choke Slam!

Winners: Massive Problem

Match Rating: E-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/WandaFish_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong-1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JoanneRodriguez.jpg

Cherry Bomb and Wanda Fish vs. Alicia Strong and Joanne Rodriguez

The crowd was at least a little more receptive for this Women's tag team bout. Joanne was a little off her game tonight and Cherry Bomb got several near falls. Joanne fired back during the match and hit the USPW Women's Champion with the J-Rocker! The crowd was stunned as Joanne got the pinfall on the USPW Women's Champion and Cherry Bomb was stunned as well!!

Winners: Alicia Strong and Joanne Rodriguez

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The crowd got on their feet as USPW World Champion James Justice's music hit! The Champion stepped out from the back and walked toward the ring, stepping inside and being handed a microphone. He looked around and absorbed the chants of 'Justice, Justice, Justice.']

James Justice

"Tonight the focus of the wrestling world is going to be on one match. It's going to be USPW World Champion James Justice defending the USPW World Title against Bruce The Giant! As I go from city to city I hear people talking about how Bruce never got his rematch and how it was a fluke that I won this title. Tonight, I prove that it wasn't a fluke. Tonight I prove that I earned and deserve this title belt that's around my waist. Bruce, you're one big man. I'm not gonna lie. You're impressive. You've impressed me and you've impressed these fans. But I beat you once before in the center of the ring and tonight I'm going to beat you one more time and leave no doubt who the better man is."

[James drops the microphone as his music kicks up and the crowd isn't sure how to take it so he gets more of a mixed reaction as he heads to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DarrylDevine_alt9.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackAvatar.jpg

Darryl Devine vs. Jack Avatar

This was a fine send-off for Darryl Devine in this matchup against newer star Jack Avatar. The crowd didn't care too much for it and gave Devine a worse reaction than Chris Caulfield earlier. He didn't get any 'Please Don't Go' chants. Technical wrestling and flying were on display here though and Jack Avatar managed to roll Devine in an inside cradle to get the 3 count.

Winner: Jack Avatar

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpg

[The big screen lit up, showing the backstage area with Cherry Bomb kicking things for a moment before she turned to look toward the camera.]

Cherry Bomb

"Rodriguez, you got lucky tonight! I can't believe you actually pinned me! I want a rematch! I want to prove to the world that I am the better wrestler! Meet me at Stars, Stripes and Slams and I'll even put the USPW Women's Title belt on the line! I will drop the Bomb on you! ARGH!"

[Cherry Bomb throws things around a little more before storming off.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg

Peter Valentine vs. the debut of Steve Flash

Steve Flash makes his debut here on USPW American Wrestling. He showed off some talent in this match against Peter Valentine, carrying Valentine to a semi-watchable match. The crowd was slightly into it and during the match it was announced that the winner would be getting a Television Title shot at USPW Stars, Stripes and Slams! In the end of the bout, Valentine slipped that chain from his boot for the second week in a row and knocked out Steve Flash with it! Valentine made the cover and got the three count and he's headed toward Stars, Stripes and Slams in a match for the TV title!

Winner: Peter Valentine

Match Rating: D

[A video begins to play showing highlights from the last time these two men met inside the ring. James Justice came away with the win. Can he do the same this week?]

USPW World Title Match

James Justice vs. Bruce The Giant

The world is watching this main event matchup between two well-known superstars! Last week, James defended the belt against Chris Caulfield and he has to still be feeling the effects of that brutal match, right? But Bruce has been waiting for this rematch for a long time. Both men have butterflies but only one can come out on top.

The match began with some brawling and a test of strength, which Bruce won easily. Bruce used that size advantage early on to knock Justice down and he began leaning on him at every turn to wear down the smaller man. He knocked James Justice out of the ring and stood in the ring, staring down at him until Justice climbed back inside. Justice tried a few hit and move techniques but he couldn't keep enough direct offense going to get the large man down! Justice tried a clothesline but Bruce just took it and then headbutted James to the ground! Bruce stepped on Justice's chest and walked over him, getting some support from a mixed crowd here tonight! Bruce made the cover:

1...

2...

SHOULDER UP!!!

Bruce just shakes his head and pulls James up and James fights back with punches! He hits Bruce square in the chest with a dropkick! He's staggering the big giant! Justice bounces off the ropes --- CLOTHESLINE! He's rocked Bruce against the ropes! Another clothesline! James gets some of the crowd fired up and on his side! He bounces off the ropes and hits another clothesline and both men go falling over the top rope to the floor below! Both men crash to the ground! What a scene!

The referee begins his count slowly and at 3 both men are stirring. At 6, Bruce is pulling himself up and working to slide into the ring, getting the attention of the referee at the same time unintentionally! T-Rex comes charging down at the leadership of Sheik Mustafa! T-Rex grabs James Justice and hits the Jurassic Slam on him outside the ring while the referee is distracted! T-Rex and Sheik Mustafa stand by while the referee finishes counting James Justice out!

Winner: Bruce The Giant (by countout; title doesn't change hands)

Match Rating: C

[Following the match, T-Rex grabs James and locks in the Jurassic Crush, squeezing the life out of James Justice! He shakes him back and forth as Justice cries out in pain and then begins to fall unconcious while Sheik Mustafa directs traffic! Bruce turns and sees what's going on and is slow to climb over the top rope. T-Rex takes this time to release Justice and walk up the aisle with a smile as the show goes off the air.]

[The main event that everyone was looking forward to wasn't as good as Jack had planned. There just wasn't enough buildup to it and Jack understands that and he knows he's going to work harder to have that slow build toward greatness. BUT on the positive side, everyone loved the attack by T-Rex after the match, putting Justice out with the Jurassic Crush. That's going to help build toward the match at Stars, Stripes and Slams and a possible threeway dance at Red, White and Blue. Well, it's back to the building and it had Jack wondering just when that building is going to collapse. He hopes that Sam or anyone else isn't inside there when it does. Though Boone might not mind. He seems to be already dead. Jack stepped inside and past the old lady playing solitaire, turning down the hall and believe it or not he got to Sam Strong's office without meeting anyone new!

Jack sat in his usual seat and waited for Sam to return.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta_alt9.jpg

Fumihiro Ota

"NINJA!"

[Jack raised an eyebrow, thinking he heard something and then shrugged it off. He must have been hearing things.]

Fumihiro Ota

"NINJA SNEAKY!"

[There came that voice again. Jack looked around for a moment, still not seeing anyone so he shrugged it off. Sam stepped into the office and walked toward his desk with a stack of papers in his hand. He seemed to wait beside the desk for several moments and then out of nowhere Fumihiro Ota came falling from the ceiling, screaming like a girl and grunted when he hit the desk, clutching his ribs and rolling off the desk, shaking his head.]

Fumihiro Ota

"Ninja down."

[sam ignored him and moved around to sit at his desk as Fumihiro began crawling toward the door. Jack ignored him too.]

Sam Strong

"I have some great news, Jack. Through some of my old connections, I was able to contact a few executives at U-Demand. I showed them tapes of the last two shows and they agreed to give us 6 months on the U-Demand Pay-Per-View network. This means that starting this month our big shows will be on pay-per-view!"

[Jack's eyes widened slightly. Pay-Per-View? This is amazing!]

Jack Avatar

"Pay-Per-View, Sam? That's great!"

Sam Strong

"Not only that, Jack, but here's the ratings from last week."

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SWF.jpg

SWF's Supreme TV drew a rating of 3.20.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TCW.jpg

TCW's TCW Presents Total Wrestling drew a rating of 2.96

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/USPW.jpg

USPW's American Wrestling drew a rating of .39.

Sam Strong

"The ratings are looking strong, Jack. It seems that the fans are buying into everything that you're doing and the matches are doing pretty good. But you better keep this up, kid."

[He called me Jack.]

Jack Avatar

"I will be doing everything in my power to do so, Sam. I am going to be raising ticket prices as well."

[Jack rose and shook hands with Sam before turning to leave. He exited out of the office and headed down the hallway. He heard something in the background and stepped out of the way of the next door and another clerk went flying through the door, hitting the wall with a grunt. Another man stepped out, yelling at him.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids_alt2.jpg

Des Davids

"Yeah, that's right, boy! You know you can't bring that weak junk up in this place, Jerry! If you finish off a pot of coffee, you make another one! It's that simple! You need to think before you act! Boy, you must be outside your mind!"

[Des looked up at Jack and Jack just hit him on the helmet before continuing to walk off. What an interesting addition, huh?]

The way I see promotion pacts for USPW if I was running it is like this. Sam Strong knows Rich Eisen and Cornell both very well. He really put both companies on the map. So if he goes to them and says hey look guys I'm just trying to run my business down here. Look at me as a developmental place for these kids. Then Sam Strong announces he's gone national and signs them to written deals and then the gloves come off with tCW and SWF thats how I always imagine it. Its not that you can't book USPW without Caulfield and Devine, I just like both of their characters and their two fun parts of booking USPW. I feel they are what gives the company more "edge".
