ggazoo
I see this term used a lot... what does it mean?
Derek B
It's a storyline that advances when any 2 of the participants in it are used in a match or angle. I use them a lot for my tag teams by just putting the partners in together, or for covering 2 singles feuds at once by rolling them together.... eayragt
Expanding on what Derek said, you can run storylines, which are a series of planned steps with certain wrestlers. However, you can also use an unchained storyline that has no planned steps, and simply advances whenever any two workers who are part of the story are in a match / angle together. Good for those who can't be bothered to plan a whole story, but know what workers are going to be in the story (e.g. tag team feud, four person unchained storyline, bosh). ggazoo
So are unchained storylines done from the booking screen, or from the storyline screen? How can an unchained storyline keep the momentum of the story going?
Derek B
Storyline screen. In the default databse there is a group of storylines called "Unchained # Person Story" or something similar... use them as you use regular storylines, only rather than completing each step like you normally do to move a storyline on a step, you only need to have the people in the storyline be involved together in a match or angle. I don't know if other mods have the unchained storylines in them though, so they might not be in whatever mod you are using...
