Even with the best booked card in the history of NEO, we still finished 3rd in the Great Lakes Regional Battle as both CZCW and NYCW both pulled out B- cards. :( Re-signing Jared Johnson for $450 and Erik Strong for $1,000 made the sting of 3rd place a little less painful.

The American Flash leaves CZCW. Not the greatest news since it means I'm all he has left. Probably would have released him already if it wasn't for the fact he's loyal to me. He is improving slowly, but the fact he is still improving is a good sign.

I knew that C+ match was too good to be true. Davis Wayne Newton tore his rotator cuff and is out for a full year. Thanks for nothing 4C! I'm going to start putting him the booth with Silver and Downpour to get some use out of him. At least he'll become pretty popular in the Great Lakes by being in the booth for a year.

Sensational Singh leaves 4C. Maybe he saw DWN's injury and thought better than to test his luck for another 9 months.

NEO Wrestling The Angel

• There isn't much that needs to be said about this main event. Future first ballot Immortal, "The Dark Angel" Cliff Wilson, wrestles against the champion, Brendan Idol, for the Crown Jewel of the Independents, the NEO Generation title.

• After losing in a match to FCW's Stevie Grayson in June, Tim Westybrook demanded that Commoner Jake Sawyer give him a rematch. After at first ignoring the Iron Man's request, the Commish decided that if Westybrook wanted a rematch that bad he would have to take out the man that beat him for the NEO Generation title, Nigel Svensson.

• It looks like The Fallen have a bit of pull in NEO as they get one more shot at the NEO World Tag Team titles against the defending champions, Team America. Also on the card is the Commish's bodyguard, Danny Patterson, taking on Ultimate Pheonix and a four way with former tag champions Jaime Quine and Jared Johnson as well as Marc Speed and Teddy Powell.

Quick Picks

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol © vs. Dark Angel

Nigel Svensson vs. Tim Westybrook

Danny Patterson vs. Ultimate Phoenix

After writing up "The Truth Of Consequences" and then going into the process off creating bios for the end of the year roster update, I realized just how long it's been since I've posted some wrestler themes. But before we get into that let's take a look at NEO's first set of themes (NEO: The Music Vol. 1) and see what they were and who is still left.

NEO: The Music Vol. 1

Brandon Smith: "Land Of Confusion" - Disturbed

Sayeed Ali: "Hip Hop Is Dead" - Nas

Sensational Singh: "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon" - Neil Diamond

Dazzling Dave Diamond: "Superstition" - Jeff Beck

Amber Allen: "Misery Business" - Paramore

Startune Productions: "Supermassive Black Hole" - Muse

Fearless Blue: "Forgotten" - Linkin Park

Xavier Reckless: "Straight Outta Compton" - N.W.A.

Dharma Gregg: "You Really Got Me" - The Kinks

Internet Wrestling Connection: "Eye Of The Tiger" - Survivor

The American Flash: "Team America Theme" - Team America

Mad Dog Mortimer: "Love Rollercoaster" - Ohio Player's Club

Brimstone: "This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song" - System Of A Down

Looks like Sensational Singh, Startune Productions (Stardust & The Neptune Twins), The American Flash, and Brimstone are the last surviving members of the original roster. And since Brimstone ended up joining The Fallen that mean out of the 13 original NEO themes only three are left. Well hopefully if this diary goes four more in game years we'll have a better success rate with NEO: The Music Vol. 2.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/NEO/NEO_musicv2.png

1. "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath (Tim Westybrook)

Well this one is pretty obvious as the song was picked because of Tim Westybrook's nickname, The Iron Man. As an added bonus it fits him pretty well.

2. "From Out Of Nowhere" by Faith No More (Ultimate Phoenix)

It's the theme I used for him in my RPW diary as Blue Sky, but I fell it still works for him as the music is upbeat like his wrestling style.

3. "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins (The Fallen)

The music dark and whiny without getting too emo. And as an added bonus the song's meaning is just about as jaded as the group's philosophy on the wrestling world.

4. "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey (Nigel Svensson)

Thought about going with some Swedish metal like In Flames or Opeth, but I really didn't find one that fit. It would have also sounded a bit gothy and in turn would infringe on The Fallen a little bit. So I went in a totally different direction and went with the arena anthem that a crowd could sing too. Almost went with "Don't Stop Believin'" for that reason, but Separate Ways is more aggressive and has a better intro.

5. "Magic Man" by Heart (Brendan Idol)

So close to giving him "Gimme Gimme Gimme" by ABBA since his greatest rival, Nigel Svensson, is a Swede, but Magic Man was an easy choice for Idol. Fewer things says chicken ****, pretty boy than a song about a dude who is seducing a teenager and calling himself a "Magic Man."

6. "Paradise City" by Guns'n'Roses (Teddy Powell)

If you couldn't tell by his picture, I am using Powell in as more of a cool, fun loving babyface like role. And as such, I wanted to give him a definite party song. Thanks to the movie "Can't Hardly Wait" I've picked Paradise City out of the number of quality songs I could have used for Mr. Powell.

7. "Heaven's A Lie" by Lacuna Coil (Dark Angel)

Since Cliff Wilson is a pretty well known wrestler I'm sure that if he was coming to a promotion like NEO he'd keep his own music from NOTBPW. So keeping that in mind I went with a song that went with his gimmick and was also something that a heel might use. "Heaven's A Lie" seems to work on both accords.

8. "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake (Peverell International)

Riffing a bit of Bradford Peverell's T&A, I wanted to give this trio a stripper song. This seems simple enough in theory, however there is one small problem. Bradford Peverell is a male. This shorten the list of possible choices a lot. Enter Sexyback, a song that both is used by strippers and wouldn't seem out of place with an arrogant, light heavyweight male.

9. "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by Dropkick Murphys (Masked Patriot)

Could have gone with something more patriotic since he's the Masked Patriot, but the kid's only 24 and is from Boston. So, instead of using a country song or some cover of Amazing Grace or something like that, I went with Boston's own Dropkick Murphys.

10. "Moneytalks" by AC/DC (Commissioner Jake Sawyer)

The song is about a rich pompous man who's trying to get in some hot bimbo to get with him because of his wealth. Pretty much sums up the character of the Playboy who is "a wealthy snob who thinks he can buy anything and anyone."

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol © vs. Dark Angel

You can't trust Cliff's health for him to be any more than an interim champion, and you don't need one at the moment. However, he is Cliff Wilson, so he'll get a draw.

Nigel Svensson vs. Tim Westybrook

Hmm, I'd have predicted draw for this if it wasn't for the Main Event. Now two draws would leave to a damned good four way, but I'll have to give this one to Svensson

Danny Patterson vs. Ultimate Phoenix

This'll never happen, but I'd like to see it - of course only after Erik Strong interferes.

NEO Tag Team: Team America vs. The Fallen

Jaime Quine vs. Jared Johnson vs. Marc Speed vs. Teddy Powell

Keep Teddy happy before he jobs to someone next month

Brendan Idol cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Dark Angel. The champion looks a little paranoid has he explains that he knows all about Cliff's little mind games and that he's ready for them. He adds there is no way The Dark Angel is going to be taking this belt back to Canada. - C

Show Thoughts: Lots of stuff to talk about and explain after this shows. First, looking back on this I should have changed it up a bit so I didn't have both the main event and the semi-main event with tainted finishes. Of course because of my product the fans were totally cool with the results, if not happier in some sick twisted way. That said, I'm still not sure why this show was a C. I don't remember if Idol's promo was a 6 minute one or not. If it was the case than that was probably the reason why the overall rating was so low. As for who actually won each match, I obviously needed Tim to win his match so he'd get another shot at Grayson sooner than later and didn't want to "use up" any more matches between Nigel & Tim. They might not be feuding with each other but considering the matches they can pull off they could be the moment an idea for the two come to me or something falls threw and I need a quick uppercard match.

Now about the title change. The plan to have The Fallen top duo to take the belts around this time was always my plan, as well as using the Freedbird errr the Outlaw Rule to pull a bait and switch on the champions. I'm not sure exactly why I went that route, but looking back on it I think it works. Erik Strong is far more established than anyone in the tag ranks and PRIMUS has been booked like the monster he is. Outright cheating to win seems a bit beneath them. So, the last minute switch I thought was a nice way for The Fallen to show their arses to the crowd without making anyone in the match look weak. As for why I didn't just let the titles stay with Quine & Johnson, well it half a knee jerk reaction after finding out the two had bad chemistry and half a reward for Masked Patriot for getting over without a push to that point (giving the tag titles to the 4 time SWF World champion, Jim Force, didn't hurt either).

And I think I should note this here as my notes didn't really make mention of this anywhere else. I think I fired Jim Force sometime after this match. I know it wasn't him getting signed by a 4th company or him going on tour because I would have written it down in the end of the month notes (though I wrote down all the other releases) and there isn't a chance in hell of Force ending up in Japan since he need to relocate and the AI doesn't do that. Anyway, I don't remember the exact reason why I let the big man go, but it was probably a combination of his skills getting in the way of solid undercard scores, making room for new talent, Jim Force being over used in general, and finally because this diary can't use the Force character to it's fullest extent. Maybe I was too hard on him though. He might be 37, but his brawling is a D+ and the rest of the rumble, aerial, and mat stats are in in the Es (some of which could get into the Ds). Maybe you'll see the big lug in NEO again.

Before I go, there is one more little, tiny thing I have to add. This show got us to jump in size from Small to Regional! Please note that even with the jump, NEO will still be running only two shows a month till the end of the year. Why you ask? Because I had the outline for the rest of the year more or less planned out (I'm lazy), there is no use travelling outside your home base before hit the 2nd regional spillover at the 41.1% mark since it jumps your spillover regionals into the high teens (I know the game mechanics), and finally I'm going to need all the money I can get once I eventually hit Cult (I don't want to die).

NEO Reaching New Heights Preview

• Though it wasn't announced, Commissioner Jake Sawyer made the decision make the main event of Reaching New Heights a number one contender's match between Tim Westybrook and Ultimate Phoenix. However due to the cowardly actions of Brendan Idol, Jake had decided to give The Dark Angel another chance by making tonight's main event a 3-way.

• In what might be a bigger surprise, Jake Sawyer has allowed a match to take place in NEO that some thought would never be seen again. In the semi-main event, Brendan Idol will defend his NEO Generation title against the man he won it from, Nigel Svensson. While the exact details on why or how this match is taking place are unknown, rumor has it that Brendan Idol demanded this match take place and didn't care where on the card it was.

• After evoking the Outlaw rule, The Fallen defeated Team America to became the 4th NEO World Tag Team champions. This week the new champions put their title up against the plucky combo of The American Flash and Arthur Dexter Bradley.

• If this wasn't enough, it seems that our family here at NEO has gotten a bit bigger as this week bring us three new debuts. The Canadian prankster, Whippy The Clown, takes on Masked Patriot and Jaime Quine and Jared Johnson face off against newcomers Grease Hogg and a wrestler that wished to go by the name of R.P. Superstar in a one fall four way.

Quick Picks

#1 Contender: Dark Angel vs. Tim Westybrook vs. Ultimate Phoenix

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol © vs. Nigel Svensson

Masked Patriot vs. Whippy The Clown

NEO World Tag Team: The Fallen © vs. High Flyers

Grease Hogg vs. Jaime Quine vs. Jared Johnson vs. R.P. Superstar

#1 Contender: Dark Angel vs. Tim Westybrook vs. Ultimate Phoenix

Tim last beat the guy who gets the title shot this show. He gets it next show.

NEO Generation: Brendan Idol © vs. Nigel Svensson

As I said, Svensson has only just lost.

Masked Patriot vs. Whippy The Clown

Whippy's an oddity when I've used him - normally poor when I use him, he'll normally go on a great run of form as I think about letting him go.

NEO World Tag Team: The Fallen © vs. High Flyers

I think they're due a long run.

Grease Hogg vs. Jaime Quine vs. Jared Johnson vs. R.P. Superstar

The fact that you've repackaged him probably means he's better than Bob Casey, so I'll give him a chance.

Congrats on Regional, and you're quite right in not going to more shows for a while.

Brendan Idol cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Nigel Svensson. He admits that he didn't come with his A game in his match against Cliff Wilson because he was distracted. And that distraction was Nigel or rather all the media attention he was receiving about Nigel and when he was going to get a title match. So instead of trying to ignore the problem, Idol says that he decided to be proactive and demand the match take place ASAP, so he can be rid of the Swede once and for all. - C

Notes: Brendan Idol and Nigel Svensson have great chemistry, and it showed in their performances. There were times when there was a definite lack of psychology on display, and the match had a tendency to drift a little.

Tim Westybrook cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Dark Angel and Ultimate Phoenix. Notes: This match lifted the crowd. Tim Westybrook is improving in Technical skills.

Overall: C+

Show Thoughts: Great show even if the attendance doesn't match the result. Looks like the new talent influx and the addition of The Dark Angel has really helped NEO get a shot in the arm. Not a lot to comment on besides that fact that the show was great, but I guess I should confirm that R.P. Superstar is indeed Ryan Powell.

End Of The Month: August 2011

End of the Month Notes

• World Importance: 34 of 37

• World Influence: 31 of 37

• Popularity: +1.4% (34.8%) GL, (5%) MA, (5%) TS

• Prestige: +8.4% (28.2%)

• Balance: +$12,138 ($87,498)

○ Worker Costs: $45,161

○ Sponsorship: $46,463

Lots of news to get to this month. First, as you might have noticed after jumping to Regional we finally gained money for the month. More importantly however we are starting to see the fruit of our hard work ripen as we jumped up a couple of spots in World Influence (though for some reason I didn't note which promotions we moved past).

During the month we picked up Whippy the Clown for $1000 and travelling, Crippler Ray Stevens for $600 (would done that a LONG time ago if I would have known that he would have signed for so little), Ryan Powell for $700 and travelling, Grease Hogg for $1000, and Sara Marie York for $450.

We also re-signed Nigel for $800, Tamara McFly for $500, Ashley Grover for $450, and Arthur Dexter Bradley for $400 while Letting Marc Speed's contract run out and releasing Duncan Kendall.

Even with the C+ show, we were still not good enough take 1st in the regional battle for the Great Lakes. Damn you Stomper!

In major wrestling news, Dread , Randall Hopkirk, and Insane Machine are all retiring this month, NOTBPW rises to International, and SOTBPW drops to Cult. If this wasn't a busy enough month the wrestling industry and economy for the USA has almost totally bottomed out, which is actually kind of good for us. We'll be reaping the benefits of a bad economy in cheap workers, saving us some money while we build up for a TV deal and Cult status. And once we get close to those two goals the economy and wrestling industry should be pretty high and will get more money in terms of ticket sales, ratings, and merchandise.

Finally after dropping 4C a month earlier, Sensational Singh signs with MAW. This is far better for us since it's a bit safer and the pop he'll gain their will be useful when we start moving outside the Great Lakes.

NEO The World I Know Preview

• After getting himself counted out, Brendan Idol might have thought he got rid of the future Immortal, Cliff Wilson. But after winning a number one contender's match against Tim Westybrook and Ultimate Phoenix, The Dark Angel is back for more. However, if Idol thinks he can pull the same stunt he did last time, he'll be sorely mistaken as this time the two will be fighting for the NEO Generation title in a Ladder Match.

• Not to be out done by this major main event, the semi-main event will see Tim Westybrook finally get his chance to avenge his lost to FCW's Stevie Grayson.

• Also on the card is trios action as Masked Patriot, Nigel Svensson, and Ultimate Pheonix take on The Fallen & Whippy The Clown, newcomers Teddy Powell and R.P. Superstar facing off against the team of T&A, and the Sara Marie York having a mountain of a task as she takes on the brutal heavyweight, Grease Hogg.

Quick Picks

NEO Generation [Ladder Match]: Brendan Idol © vs. Dark Angel

Stevie Grayson vs. Tim Westybrook

Masked Patriot, Nigel Svensson, & Ultimate Phoenix vs. Dark Star, PRIMUS, Whippy The Clown

Teddy Powell & R.P. Superstar vs. Tamara & Ashley

NEO Generation [Ladder Match]: Brendan Idol © vs. Dark Angel

- For the first time ever in any dynasty (I think) I'm enjoying Brendan Idol (ok, he was alright in J's USPW but here he is more than a comedy act) but why oh why did he take on an angel in a ladder match? I still think he wins somehow and then rocks a rendition of "I am the champion" while sitting atop the ladder.

Stevie Grayson vs. Tim Westybrook

- The Iron Man finally distaches Boy Rust.

Masked Patriot, Nigel Svensson, & Ultimate Phoenix vs. Dark Star, PRIMUS, Whippy The Clown

- Face have to win now and again, and this trio should be a nice feel good win for the fans and have more overness to boot. Mostly I'm hoping Whippy debuts his 'The Fallen' facepaint. (I don't know if he has an evil alt look but he should.)

Teddy Powell & R.P. Superstar vs. Tamara & Ashley

- R.P. is one my favourite CVersers so I'll take him and some TP... er Powell to top T&A.

Grease Hogg vs. Sara Marie York

- If Hogg jobs to York he might as well follow that up with a loss to Stardust.

NEO Generation [Ladder Match]: Brendan Idol © vs. Dark Angel He will do something underhand, maybe hire The Fallen to attack Angel. I could see Angel taking it in the next match they have.

Stevie Grayson vs. Tim Westybrook I think Tim will get frustrated and end up DQing himself.

Masked Patriot, Nigel Svensson, & Ultimate Phoenix vs. Dark Star, PRIMUS, Whippy The Clown Heels in large numbers>random face guys.

Teddy Powell & R.P. Superstar vs. Tamara & Ashley

Grease Hogg vs. Sara Marie York These men are stronger and bigger so I must give them the nudge.

Well, Jake Sawyer might be a heel, but his motivation is money. He hated Nigel because at the time he won he was a nobody (however, thanks to his reign, Nigel's stock has risen so Sawyer's stance on him is a bit less negative). He's not the biggest fan of Idol either since he's not as big of a national star as some of the other members of the roster and in comparison to The Dark Angel, he's a nobody. That's why Sawyer put Angel in the #1 contender's match and why the match is one that Idol can't retain the belt without winning the match. Why it's a ladder match? Personal preference.

Stevie Grayson vs. Tim Westybrook

As I still think Tim's the next champ

Masked Patriot, Nigel Svensson, & Ultimate Phoenix vs. Dark Star, PRIMUS, Whippy The Clown

An opportunity for The Fallen to lose

Teddy Powell & R.P. Superstar vs. Tamara & Ashley

The first of two no contests

Brendan Idol cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Dark Angel. He says that it doesn't matter that Dark Angel is a legend in this business and is a lock for the Hall of the Immortals because in a Ladder Match the only thing that matters is who reaches the belt first. In way it's like a race and there is no way he's going to finish second to some 40 year old. - C

Show Thoughts: Man I love having talented workers throughout the card. Don't get me wrong, seeing my lesser than stellar workers constantly improve is great. However, something has to be said for having people throught the card that can put up solid grades. Besides the opener getting cursed with bad chemistry, all the matches were just as good as I thought. Well, I shouldn't say that. The trios match blew me away with a C grade. Even with the amount of talent, I expected a D+ or a C-. Speaking of which Whippy didn't really like drawing with Masked Patriot, but screw once again I really don't care.

I kind of regret not keeping the title on Idol, but if I did that I think I'd have to turn him into a face due to Sawyer and Idol not getting along. Plus, it's freaking Dark Angel. He might be getting old, but as you've seen it, he's still has it in the ring. Plus I kind of like the idea of NEO more or less jumping to Regional and having Dark Angel's title reign happening at the same time. It as a bit of realism to it.

Solid show. It is impressive how fast NEO has grown to be such a strong company. I personally wanted Idol to retain, sort of show the world that indy workers won't be held down by big stars, but it will be interesting to see what you do with him. He and Tim should be able to do a solid program.

Thanks. I think I know what you mean about Idol and the other "lesser known" wrestlers that apparently this diary is known for. But I have a good reason for getting the belt off Idol. Actually the angle that explains my reasoning will happen on the next card. Actually, my next show doesn't have a single filler "hype the upcoming match" promo in it.

That is the types of show I like. As a wrestling fan I am a big Dragon Gate guy because the shows flow so well. Every guy on the roster has a unique history with everyone else. Faces and heels are blurred together by the unique sequences of events that make up the web that is the promotion.

I see that in your booking, like Idol may be a heel, but his history with Jake Sawyer can make his a face at the same time.

NEO Hell's Bells Preview

• After shocking the wrestling world by debuting with NEO in July, The Dark Angel has quickly become the top dog by defeating Brendan Idol in a ladder match and winning the NEO Generation title. Some say that Commissioner Jake Sawyer was ecstatic that the worldly Cliff Wilson won the title for marketing proposes, but by that as it may, Sawyer isn't giving his new champion a lay up for his first title defense as he takes on former NEO Generation champion, Tim Westybrook.

• Some would say that Hell's Bells' semi-main event is a blast from the past as Ultimate Phoenix and Whippy The Clown go one on one. These two veterans of the mat have been in the wrestling business from some time, but both got their start in the same place, Rapid Pro Wrestling.

• The rest of the card is jammed packed as the team of Nigel Scensson, R.P. Superstar, and Teddy Powell take on Bradford International, The Fallen defend their status as NEO's top tag team as they face off against two former tag champions, Masked Patriot and Jaime Quine, in non-title action, and finally Grease Hogg looks to follow up on his impressive debut by taking on the talented high flier, Arthur Dexter Bradley.

Quick Picks

NEO Generation: Dark Angel © vs. Tim Westybrook

Ultimate Phoenix vs. Whippy The Clown

Arthur Dexter Bradley vs. Grease Hogg

Non-Title: The Fallen © vs. Jaime Quine & Masked Patriot

Nigel Svensson, R.P. Superstar, & Teddy Powell vs. Bradford International

Biography

Nigel Svensson is a Swedish grappler who trained extensively in Wigan, UK. As a result, he uses the famed "Wigan style" of wrestling, which is an ultra-tough approach that favors stiff forearm blows and excruciating joint locks when on the mat. Only the toughest of wrestlers get through training in Wigan, and Nigel is certainly that. A dangerous fighter, Svensson looks set to travel the world to compete against the best fighters on the planet.

Nigel entered the wrestling scene in May of 2009. After paying his dues in local British Indy shows, a local wrestling scout from GCG took interest in the young Swede, offering him a touring contract with the resurging GCG promotion. Nigel showed incredible promise in his three tours with Golden Canvas Grappling, capping off his time with GCG with a 16 defense reign as the GCG Openweight Champion. A belt that Nigel lost on the second to last show of GCG's Showtime! Tour to the talented super junior, Acid. Two months later Nigel had a small but impressive run in BHOTWG in which the young man produce B range match after B range match. It's a wonder why a Japanese company didn't offer Nigel another contract of some kind, but thankfully for NEO Championship Wrestling, they didn't.

Nigel stunned NEO by not only defeating fellow European, Hugh de Aske, in his debut, but also shocking the Iron Man in Westybrook's first title defense to become NEO Generation champion. Despite no support from NEO management, specifically Commissioner Jake Sawyer, Nigel pulled through and kept the title for a solid 6 months and a record breaking 9 successful title defenses before falling to Nigel's biggest rival in NEO Championship Wrestling, Brendan Idol. During the time of his NEO Generation title reign, Nigel also returned to his original wrestling home, the United Kingdom, joining the Midland based promotion, Ring Of Fire. He's yet to have the kind of success he's had in Japan and the USA, but he has more than held his own with a pretty even 3-1-3 record since joining ROF.

The summer of 2011 might have marked the end of Nigel's title NEO Generation title reign, but it wasn't all bad news. Nigel Svensson went back to GCG and once ago proved his worth by wrestling in high quality matches and winning the GCG World Heavyweight Tag Titles with his tag team partner, Roy Edison. The duo defended the titles 8 times before being forced to vacate the titles when his partner, Edison, ruptured his spleen late in December.

Tim Westybrook cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Dark Angel. The Iron Man says that, "It's funny how things work about in life. A couple of years ago, I left NOTBPW because I was getting held down by guys like Cliff Wilson clogging up the main event. Show Thoughts: It might look like rushed things and it's partly true. You see the original plan was suppose to have Brendan Idol hold on to the title till Hallowed Dreams, losing it to Dark Angel. Cliff was then suppose to hold on to the title till the end of the year, dropping the title to Tim Westybrook. But thanks to NOTBPW the progression happened quicker. While it would have been great to do it the way I wanted to do it, this works to I guess. At least I got a B- card for my trouble and Dark Angel is now a part of NEO's champions, right there with Brandon Smith and Nigel Svensson. :D

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I love having a solid undercard. Seeing D+s in trios and more importantly, tag matches, is awesome. I was unsure of how giving the tag titles to the upper end of the card was going to go, but I think it's going to work out all right.

BTW, do you guys have a preference on which font style is better for everyone to read?

BTW, do you guys have a preference on which font style is better for everyone to read?

Either or. Your old one is more unique, but the newer one's probably easier to read (but only a little).

And I'd have got close to calling that show if you'd have given me the chance. Not sure that I would have called the Main Event, as although I've been calling Timmy the next champion for a while, I don't think I'd have expected the instant change. Maybe I'd have called shennanigans.

I didn't notice a different font.

I was suprised, but glad to see Tim regain the belt. So NOTBPW signed up Dark Angel?

Yeah. NOTBPW signed him back up the first chance they got. That's why the two shows were so close together.

My bad, but those are the breaks I guess when you are running a diary that is running daily updates. :o But since I have your attention, how did you like the profile review for Nigel?

And did I hear Shenanigans?
