USPW: Road Toward National

Recommended Posts

I had hoped to have my current card written up much sooner than today but yesterday morning starting at around 2 AM, I suffered from another kidney stone and had to go to the emergency room. Not to get too graphic in all of this but I've been in pain and throwing up ever since then but I am slowly starting to feel better so I hope everyone will bear with me. The really horrible thing about all of this is that I am having to miss my Graduation Ceremony from college because of this. But this is just an ooc update as to where I am right now.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 2 October 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 4,010

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .46

[The show begins inside the Huntsville Fairgrounds where the music of the former USPW World Champion James Justice has started to play and out he comes to a big ovation from the fans! He high fives them as he walks down to the ring and slides inside, taking a look around. He picks up a microphone.]

James Justice: "Tonight I just want to let each and every one of you know that I am BACK!"

[A chant of 'Justice, Justice, Justice' moves through the crowd.]

James Justice: "Tonight will be my first match back since suffering from that injury at the hands of Randall Hopkirk and the Keith Twins. But I don't have to worry about any of them, do I? They can't lay their hands on me until the pay-per-view and that feels good!"

Matthew Keith: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a second here!"

[The crowd boos as one of the Keith Twins comes out, standing at the top of the entrance ramp.]

Matthew Keith: "We all saw and heard last week that neither my brother, myself or Randall can touch you until the pay-per-view, right? But you issued an open challenge this week for your first match back. So how about we waive that clause just for tonight? You and me one on one, James. How about it?"

James Justice: "How about it? Let me think about this for a moment. Hmmm. Ummm. Sure, you're on! However, however, however. The clause is only waived from bell to bell. That means that the only time you can touch me is when that bell rings and you have to let go when the finishing bell rings. Agreed?"

Matthew Keith: "You got it, James. I'll see you in the ring later on."

James Justice: "Good luck, Matthew. You're gonna need it."

[James' music kicks back up and both he and Matthew Keith head toward the back. But just how did James Justice know which Keith brother it was???]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_FSFIN.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JenniferHeat.jpg

Peter Valentine w/ Sam Strong vs. Joss Thompson w/ Jennifer Heat

[A halfway decent match to kick things off here on American Wrestling. The problem with the match is that Valentine and Thompson don't seem to click inside the ring and it screwed with the flow of the match as several moves were botched. Toward the end of the match, Art Reed came down to the ring and had a heated talk with Sam Strong. Reed punched Strong and then caught Peter Valentine with an elbow outside the referee's view! Valentine fell back into the ring and Joss Thompson took advantage with the Clean Cutter and got the pinfall.]

Winner: Joss Thompson

Match Rating: D+

[Following the match, Thompson and Reed put the boots to Peter Valentine. Thompson smiled as Jack Avatar walked down to the ring with a smile. Jack leaned over and said something to Sam and then slid into the ring. He pushed Thompson and then threw a punch! He punched Art Reed! Avatar cleared the ring! What's going on here?!?!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SuzanneBrazzle.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NadiaSnow_alt1.jpg

#1 Contenders Match

Suzanne Brazzle vs. Nadia Snow

[Women's wrestling here as the Miracle Blonde and Nadia Snow get to fight for a shot at Alicia's Strong's USPW Women's Title! These two had some great chemistry and the match flowed as it should but it still brought the crowd's mood down as they didn't much care about either of these women. Nadia Snow got the pinfall on Brazzle by a rollup and her feet on the ropes.]

Winner: Nadia Snow

Match Rating: D-

[The cameras caught up with Joss Thompson and Jennifer Heat backstage! Joss is throwing things all around the locker room!]

Joss Thompson: "What in the world does that ingrate think he's doing?!?! I brought him into The Youth Movement personally and this is how he treats me? Jennifer, you know this isn't right!"

Jennifer Heat: "I know, Joss. But what can we do?"

Joss Thompson: "I'll tell you what: Jack, I want a piece of you! I want some of your hide and I want everyone to see it live on pay-per-view!"

[Joss growls and throws a trash can filled with trash as we head back to the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JimForce.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java_FIN2.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlondeBombshell_alt1.jpg

vs.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AlexBraun_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TankBradley.jpg

Steve Flash, Jim and Java Force w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Freddie Datsun and The New Jersey Devils

[Tank Bradley is making his USPW debut here in this match and he was really off his game in this match. It was a halfway decent match between these six athletes though with the D.A.V.E. unit using all kinds of cheating against Flash and the Forces. Alex Braun and Tank Bradley used their dog collars on both the Forces, choking them and hitting them with chains.

Steve Flash was the hot tag in this match and he used a dropkick to bring down Braun, an armdrag on Bradley and a DDT on Datsun! Flash went for a cover and got a two count. Flash had it all going his way when The New Jersey Devils attacked him from behind! In came the Forces and all six men were brawling inside the ring! The referee lost control and was trying to seperate the tag champs and their opponents while Datsun grabbed a chair from ringside and cracked Steve Flash over the head with it! The chair was dented and Datsun slid it out of the ring and made the cover as the referee turned and Datsun picked up the win!]

Winners: Freddie Datsun and the New Jersey Devils

Match Rating: D

[backstage, James Justice is shown walking down a hallway and he stops at the famous USPW soda machine, putting in some change and getting a coke. He turns around and come face-to-face with Randall Hopkirk!]

Randall Hopkirk: "You had better make it out of the match tonight, James. I want you inside that steel cage so bad I can almost taste it. I want to be the one to end your career."

James Justice: "Don't worry, Randall. Tonight, it's Matthew and at the pay-per-view it's you and me, pal. But remember you can't touch me."

[James smiles and raises his coke up, pouring it over the head of Randall Hopkirk! Randall brings back his fist, ready to punch but keeps it held back, slowly lowering it and he walks away, looking very angry while James just smiles.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErnieTurner.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LarryWood.jpg

Ernie Turner vs. Larry Wood

[The crowd really, really, really hated this match. A definite bathroom and souvenir stand break. Larry Wood dominated the 3:40 that this match lasted and ended it with a Running Big Foot!]

Winner: Larry Wood

Match Rating: E

[Following the match, Tribal Warrior came running from the back and attacked Larry Wood! A brawl started between the two inside the ring, trading punches back and forth. Tribal Warrior fell back in the corner and then suddenly flung a fireball at Larry Wood! Wood managed to dodge the fire and rolled out of the ring but Tribal Warrior just stares him down as Larry Wood backs away.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

vs.

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShawnGonzalez.jpg

Captain USA and Nicky Champion w/ Sam Strong vs. JD Morgan and Shawn Gonzalez

[Our semi main event here on American Wrestling was a good one between these four men who will be competing against each other at USPW Born In The USA! The World Champion looked pretty good in the early-goings, showing the skills he used to win the belt against JD and Shawn. Nicky became the face-in-peril halfway through the match as the D.A.V.E. unit double-teamed him and used a lot of chokeholds and shots to the throat and frequent tags. The tide turned when JD whipped Nicky into the corner and Nicky dodged a splash there! Nicky bounced off the ropes and a double clothesline brought both men down! Each of them were crawling toward their corners slowly, slowly. JD made the tag to Shawn and Gonzalez came running in just in time to see Nicky tag out to the Champ!

The USPW World Champion came and threw punches at Shawn Gonzalez! He walked over to JD Morgan and used a double noggin knocker to knock JD off the apron! Captain USA whipped Shawn Gonzalez into the ropes -- BIG BOOT! Captain USA played to the crowd and then stalked behind Shawn Gonzalez! He was ready, ready as Shawn began getting to his feet. He hooks in the Full Nelson and takes a chair shot to the back by JD Morgan, causing the immediate DQ!]

Winners: Captain USA and Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C-

[Nicky came in to make the save but he took a chair shot from JD Morgan! Shawn Gonzalez asked for the chair and received it, setting up as Nicky slowly began to move and he nearly took Nicky Champion's head off with a chair shot! Sam Strong watched in horror at ringside and Shawn invited him to come in the ring and get some but Sam declined! JD Morgan slides out of the ring and grabs the USPW World Title belt, sliding back in. He smiles and smashed it down on the head of Captain USA! Now, he's going for the mask! JD Morgan is going for the mask of Captain USA, unlacing it! Sam Strong slowly moves to the ring apron and then inside the ring!

Shawn raises the chair and takes a kick to the gut by the Owner of USPW! JD turns and sees him and spears him down! JD throws punch after punch to the head of Sam Strong, busting him open with punches! JD gets to his feet and raises his arm alongside Shawn Gonzalez and a show of D.A.V.E. force has definitely been shown here tonight!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MatthewGauge_alt4.jpg

James Justice vs. Matthew Keith

[For obvious reasons, Sam Strong was not down here at ringside with James Justice for this big match against Matthew Keith. Both men stepped inside the ring and James walked over to Matthew, tilting his head and just begging Matthew to hit him before the bell sounded. Matthew kept his cool though and James went back to his corner and then the bell sounded and Matthew charged Justice, pushing him down to the mat and leaping on top with punches! Justice did his best to cover up and the referee stepped in to break things up, issuing a warning to Matthew Keith. Both men got to their feet and Justice went for a clothesline - ducked! Matthew Keith went for a round kick to the chest but Justice grabbed his ankle --- ANKLE LOCK! James Justice is locking in the Ankle Lock but Matthew Keith quickly crawls over and grabs the bottom rope and the hold is broken. Close call for Matthew Keith!

Back in the center of the ring, Matthew Keith locks in an armbar on James Justice, who fights his way up and slams a fist to the gut of Matthew Keith! Another! Matthew Keith counters with a rake to the eyes and a whip in to the ropes -- backdrop by Keith -- NO!! Justice put on the brakes and lifted Keith into a powerbomb -- NO!! Keith slides out of the back and grabs a backslide: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! Matthew Keith argued with the referee that it was a slow count but Baby Jamie isn't buying it! James Justice sneaks up behind Keith -- SCHOOLBOY -- 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT!

Justice gives Keith a kick to the gut and then lifts him up, placing him on the top rope. Justice throws a couple of punches and then steps back -- Justice runs and catches Matthew Keith around the ropes -- OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPERPLEX! Matthew Keith hits the mat hard and James Justice plays to the cheering crowd! Justice moves in with a rear chinlock, cinching it in tightly on Matthew Keith. Baby Jamie asks for the submission but Matthew Keith isn't giving in just yet! Justice pulls Keith to his feet and Keith ducks a short-arm clothesline, turning -- kick to the gut -- DDT by Matthew Keith! Keith makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- SHOULDER UP! Somehow James Justice got the shoulder up!

Matthew Keith looks toward the top rope as Randall Hopkirk heads down toward ringside. What's he doing here?!?! Keith is slightly distracted by the appearance of Hopkirk but he leaps -- TOP ROPE LEG DROP -- NO!! James Justice kicked up and caught Matthew Keith with a clothesline in mid-air! What a move by Justice! Justice goes up top and taunts Randall Hopkirk -- WHOA! MOONSAULT by Justice!!! -- DEAD ON!! Justice makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- SHOULDER UP!! Somehow Matthew Keith got his shoulder up! Justice argues some with the referee and then turns his attention back to Matthew Keith. Keith grabs Justice -- INSIDE CRADLE -- 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! Justice isn't going away that way!

Randall Hopkirk slides a chair inside the ring, motioning toward Matthew to grab it and he does! Matthew turns toward James Justice and Justice punches the chair, knocking it back into Matthew Keith's face! Justice grabs the chair and tosses it out of the ring, ducking a clothesline from Matthew Keith! Keith turns and Justice grabs him --- LIBERATION SLAM!!! James Justice nailed Matthew Keith with the Liberation Slam! Justice slides into the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

[Justice gets up to celebrate but there's no bell?!?! What's going on??? Randall Hopkirk has grabbed the bell from ringside and tossed it away! He's motioning toward Matthew Keith to get up! The waiver did say from bell to bell, right? Justice ducks a clothesline from behind by Matthew Keith and Justice grabs him, tossing him out of the ring! Justice looks down at Randall Hopkirk as officials come running from the back, one of them grabbing the bell and ringing it as Justice and Hopkirk stare each other down and the show comes to a close.]

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 3 October 2008

Location: Irvine Hall

Attendance: 2,901

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .48

[The show begins with a video highlighting last week's main event and then the staredown between James Justice and Randall Hopkirk to end the show.]

[The crowd within Irvine Hall is cheering loudly as inside the arena, James Justice's music has been playing and Justice walks out, high-fiving the fans and heading straight toward the ring. He steps inside with a microphone in hand.]

James Justice: "We are less than one week away from USPW's Born In The USA and my vengeance against Randall Hopkirk inside a steel cage. Randall, I have to admit that you've done a good job keeping to the bargain but we will have to see what happens this week. This week..."

[James is interrupted by the music of D.A.V.E. and out walks Travis Century! The crowd boos the preacher man as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp.]

Travis Century: "Brother Justice, tonight, you better not be thinking about Brother Hopkirk. Tonight, Brother Hopkirk has contributed a rather large amount of money to the Holy Church of D.A.V.E. and in return for his generosity he has certain expectations that must be met tonight. Those expectations include my defeating you one on one tonight!"

James Justice: "Travis, I don't know what you're talking about. D.A.V.E. is dead and has been dead for a very long time and since it's not Easter, I'd say we won't be seeing any resurrections any time soon."

Travis Century: "But it IS Halloween, Brother Justice. It is coming upon the night where the veil between the living and the dead is at it's weakest. So tonight, Brother Justice, you're going to make your own little contribution to the Holy Church of D.A.V.E.: your blood!"

[Travis makes a symbol in front of himself and smiles as his music begins and James looks supremely confident still inside the ring as Travis walks off.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackAvatar_FSFIN.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_FSFIN.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ArtReed.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JenniferHeat.jpg

Peter Valentine and Jack Avatar w/ Sam Strong vs. Joss Thompson and Art Reed w/ Jennifer Heat

[A decent match to kick things off here on USPW American Wrestling. Joss Thompson and Art Reed had difficulties flowing as a tag team and this helpd Peter and Jack get an advantage. The match came to a close when all four men were brawling inside the ring and Peter and Art hit each other with some closed fists, knocking each other out! The referee counted and gave both men a ten count before calling for the bell.]

Winners: Draw

Match Rating: D+

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErnieTurner.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan_alt1.jpg

Ernie Turner vs. JD Morgan

[JD Morgan dominated Ernie Turner in this bout and the crowd didn't seem to care less. This match brought the crowd's mood down despite all the violence that JD Morgan inflicted, including using a chair and he even sent Ernie Turner through a table at ringside! The crowd was shocked when this happened as the referee was knocked out. Back inside the ring, JD hooked on the Cross Atlantic Stretch and got the submission victory.]

Winner: JD Morgan

Match Rating: D-

[backstage, Jim Force and Java Force are shown standing in front of the USPW logo.]

Jim Force: "New Jersey Devils, the force has decided that the two of you shall get tag team title shots against myself and Java at USPW Born In The USA. That is only so that D.A.V.E. will get a shot at the FoOOOORRRCCCCEEEEE! *SNARLGROWL* Alex Braun, Tank Bradley, I shall take your tank and I shall go inside of it and drive it off the edge of a cliff and it shall fall to your DOOOOOMMMMM!!!"

Java Force: "Mmmm....Force....YumYUM! Buy our merchandise!"

[Jim gives a goofy smile and pats Java on the shoulder as we head back to the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AlexBraun_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TankBradley.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/RockinRyanTurner.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/StanManna.jpg

The New Jersey Devils vs. The Rock City Stars

[some poor tag team action here tonight between these two teams. The Rock City Stars came out in a puff of smoke, coughing and acting like a couple of stoners. The New Jersey Devils dominated though the match brought the crowd's mood down. It was announced during this match that the New Jersey Devils/Power of the Force match at USPW Born In The USA will be a double dog collar match! Braun put Turner away with the Braun Damage.]

Winners: The New Jersey Devils

Match Rating: E+

[Art Reed is shown standing backstage in front of the USPW logo.]

Art Reed: "Peter Valentine, everyone has been asking me just why I attacked you, why do I want a match with you? It's simple: you're a fake. You're a fraud and everyone here knows that. As a Pure Athlete, I don't take drugs, I don't drink. My addiction is competition. And everyone knows that Peter Valentine is a steroid user. At Born In The USA, I am going to prove to each and every person out there that being a Pure Athlete means that I am better than you!"

[Art poses for a moment before we head back to the ring.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShawnGonzalez.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta.jpg

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Fumihiro Ota

[Gonzalez takes on the ninja here in a very good bout. The crowd was into it even though it barely lasted over four minutes. Ota got in some good shots but he was taken down by Shawn Gonzalez into the Latino Crab and Gonzalez managed to get the submission victory.]

Winner: Shawn Gonzalez

Match Rating: C-

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg

USPW World Title Match

Madman Boone vs. Captain USA

[Captain USA decided to put his belt on the line after all in this match against the zombie. It was a halfway decent bout, not bad but not that good either. Captain USA was showing signs of being tired toward the end of the match, though. But it was a successful title defense when Captain USA hit Madman Boone with the Hail To The Chief and got the pinfall win.]

Winner: Captain USA

Match Rating: D

[Following the match, JD Morgan came out and KE-RACKED Captain USA in the head with a chair to boos from the crowd! The crowd booed as JD Morgan slid out of the ring and grabbed a can of spraypaint from underneath the ring. He slid inside and grabbed the USPW World Title belt. He flashed a smile as he spraypainted 'D.A.V.E.' on the belt to lots of boos! What a jerk!]

[backstage in front of the USPW logo stands USPW Women's Champion Alicia Strong!]

Alicia Strong: "Nadia Snow? I want you to listen and listen good. You think that flirting with my father is gonna make me go any easier on you? You think you got lucky by getting this title shot against me? Both you and I know that it was the biggest mistake you could have ever made. This Saturday night, I am going to show you why you don't deserve to hang around the Strong family."

[Alicia poses with the Women's belt and then it's back to the ring for the main event!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TravisCentury.jpg

James Justice w/ Sam Strong vs. Travis Century

[And it's main event time and it's a doozy between James Justice and Travis Century. Century used a lot of illegal tactics during the match while Justice fought back with the advice from Sam Strong. Century took the match outside the ring and with a bumped referee he was able to use chairs and a Jim Force action figure on James Justice! Buy his merchandise?

Back inside the ring, James Justice fired back as the referee recovered and Randall Hopkirk came walking down to ringside, watching the match. Justice showed his intestinal fortitude in this match by coming back from all the cheating done by Travis Century. Randall Hopkirk looked on in disgust as Justice set up Travel Century -- LIBERATION SLAM! Justice made the cover: 1 - 2 - 3!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[Following the match, James stared down at Randall Hopkirk from inside the ring and Hopkirk moved around, slamming Sam Strong in the back with a chair! Hopkirk pushed Strong out of the way and just stared at James Justice as the show came to a close. We'll see you at USPW's Born In The USA!]

USPW BORN IN THE USA!

Saturday Week 3 October 2008

Location: Louisiana Auditorium

Attendance: 8,969

Overall Rating: B-

PPV Buyrate: .65

[The show begins with a video focusing on the feud between James Justice and Randall Hopkirk. Tonight that comes to a head inside a steel cage! It's Justice versus Hopkirk! Who's gonna win?]

[The video transitioned into another video, this time focusing on the other main event: Captain USA defends the USPW World title belt and USPW's honor against D.A.V.E. leader JD Morgan! Will USPW come out on top?]

[And cut to the inside of the Louisiana Auditorium with the crowd on their feet cheering and ready for the matches tonight!]

Mitch Naess: "Hello everyone and WELCOME to USPW's Born In The USA! I'm Mitch Naess alongside Sara Silver and we're here for the best wrestling action in the world! Sara, tonight we have two big main events!"

Sara Silver: "Indeed we do, Mitch. But we all know that JD Morgan is going to walk away with the USPW World Title belt and Randall Hopkirk is going to walk away with the career of James Justice!"

Mitch Naess: "How did I guess you would pick those two, huh? Well, the fans are ready for action and so am I so let's head up to the ring for our opening bout. A Hell's Little Angel match where any infraction of the rules is an immediate DQ."

Match #1

Hell's Little Angel Rules

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ArtReed_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

Hell's Little Angel Match (Any small infraction of the rules is an immediate DQ)

Art Reed vs. Peter Valentine

[A very solid opening match to begin the show. It had to be at least a decent wrestling bout with the rules that were in place. Art Reed showed off his wrestling skill in this bout and Peter Valentine had several times where Sam Strong had to stop him before he did something to get disqualified. These two showed pretty good chemistry with one another inside the ring and the end result was Valentine catching Art Reed coming off the top and planting him with the Heart Breaker shoulderbreaker and getting the pinfall victory.]

Winner: Peter Valentine

Match Rating: C-

Match #2

Double Dog Collar Match

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match

Double Dog Collar Match

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match

The Power Of The Force! defends vs. The New Jersey Devils

[The New Jersey Devils perhaps made a mistake in attacking Jim and Java Force with those dog collars because the Power of the Force was looking for some wholesale revenge in this match and it had both members of the Devils bloodied by the end of it. Both members of the Championship team nearly lost all of their facepaint by the end of the match as well. Jim Force got the pinfall on Alex Braun following the Full Force Jackhammer Slam!]

Winners: The Power Of The Force!

Match Rating: D

[Following the match as Jim and Java Force celebrated they were attacked from behind by the New Jersey Devils and Jim was hung over the top rope by the chain that had attached the two teams! The crowd booed the D.A.V.E. contingent and Braun hit Java with the Braun Damage inside the ring, leaving the New Jersey Devils with their arms in the air before they walked off as officials came over to check on the Champs.]

[backstage, James Justice is shown standing within his locker room. He runs his fingers through his hair and then looks up at the camera.]

James Justice: "So this is it, Randall? All the attacks, all the past, all the matches are thrown out the window for this one match. This one match where justice gets to be served one way or another. Either you'll serve me up on a silver platter or I will serve you the butt whipping that you deserve. I think it's gonna be the second one, dude. Tonight, inside the steel cage..."

[Justice raises up to his feet and moves right up toward the camera showing his eyes..]

James Justice: "...I'm gonna finish you."

[Justice turns and walks away as we head back to the ring.]

Tribal Warrior vs. Larry Wood

[A brawling fan's dream match but it was dominated by one side. Larry Wood dominated the match and it brought the crowd's mood down. An attempt at the fireball by Tribal Warrior missed and he walked right into the Running Big Foot by Larry Wood! Wood made the cover and got the pinfall.]

Winner: Larry Wood

Match Rating: D-

[The cameras cut back to the announcers.]

Mitch Naess: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, we've seen some good action so far and it's only going to get better as we have a major USPW World Title match later on."

Sara Silver: "What is going to happen if JD Morgan wins and rechristens it the D.A.V.E. title, Mitch?"

Mitch Naess: "Hopefully that won't happen, Sara. D.A.V.E. was wonderful when it was here but USPW is the place to be right now."

Sara Silver: "That's why I'm here, Mitch. Now, let's head up to the ring for our next title bout."

USPW World Television Title Match

USPW World Television Title Match

Freddie Datsun defends vs. Steve Flash

[This is our second title match between USPW and D.A.V.E. USPW kept the World Tag Team Titles earlier but can D.A.V.E. keep the World Television Title against standout wrestler Steve Flash?

The match went back and forth early with Steve Flash relying on some words from Blonde Bombshell Amy Roberts. Flash focused on the arm of Freddie Datsun, squeezing in an armbar several times. Datsun fired back, tossing Flash outside the ring and ramming him against the guardrail. Flash came back by leaping on the guardrail and hitting Datsun with a flying headscissors outside the ring! The match went back inside the ring and Flash got several near falls. Datsun fired back, ducking a Super Kick from Flash and he lifted Flash up -- PATRIOT PRESS!! Datsun hit his finisher out of nowhere and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: C

[Following the match, Datsun was handed his USPW World Television Title belt and he offered Steve Flash a hand up. Flash took it but was pulled right into a belt shot! The crowd booed as Datsun slammed the belt several times into Flash's forehead and smiled down at him before exiting the ring as Blonde Bombshell checked on her man.]

[backstage, the crowd boos even more as Joss Thompson is shown within his locker room.]

Joss Thompson: "Jack Avatar, tonight you're going to learn why you never should have turned on The Youth Movement. You stuck your nose in where it didn't belong and tonight I am going to cut it off. Tonight the Complete Package takes that next step toward total domination of United States Pro Wrestling!"

[Joss turns and exits the locker room. His match is next!]

Jack Avatar vs. Joss Thompson

[A shoving match ensued at the beginning of the contest between these two wrestlers. Jack won the shoving match and Joss crawled back in a corner and spoke with Jennifer Heat. These two have great chemistry and it showed inside the ring when they battled back and forth in the best match of the night so far. Joss took the lead during the midway part of the match, keeping Avatar down with some cheating holds and some interference by Jennifer Heat. Avatar started his comeback late during the match, using the ten punches in the corner and set up Joss Thompson for a DDT but Thompson grabbed the ropes and Avatar fell backward, hitting his head hard on the mat. Thompson rolled him up quickly, putting his feet on the ropes and getting the three count!]

Winner: Joss Thompson

Match Rating: B-

[backstage, in front of a USPW sign stands USPW Women's Champion Alicia Strong!]

Alicia Strong: "Nadia Snow, you're looking at the top women's wrestler not only here in USPW but in the world. In proving that, I have the USPW Women's title belt and I have been defending it over and over again. All anyone else is doing is playing catchup ball to me because as long as you don't hold this USPW Women's title then the best you can hope for is second best and tonight I am going to prove why I hold it."

USPW Women's Title Match

Alicia Strong defends vs. Nadia Snow

[Our only title match that doesn't pit USPW against D.A.V.E. and it was a pretty good one, especially by women's wrestling standards here in USPW. Alicia Strong stood out as being good in this match and she showed off her skill against Nadia Snow. The match came to it's conclusion when Alicia was about to hit the Angel Driver on Nadia Snow but instead she was smacked from behind with her own title belt by the former Champion Cherry Bomb!]

Winner: Alicia Strong

Match Rating: C-

[Cherry Bomb continued her attack on Alicia following the sound of the bell, giving her several kicks and landing two Cherry Bombs before officials came down to pull her off. Obviously she wants another title shot!]

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShawnGonzalez.jpg

Nicky Champion vs. Shawn Gonzalez

[Another USPW versus D.A.V.E. match and this one with Sam Strong at ringside. Strong was obviously still suffering from the ill-effects of the chairshot he took last week from Randall Hopkirk but he was strong at ringside for this match.

The match started off inside the ring but quickly spilled outside and the two went back and forth, shoving each other into the guardrail and even spilling out into the fans! The referee was reluctant to count either of them out and Sam Strong made sure that's not how the match ended. Nicky Champion hit a Hawkeye Hammer outside in the fans and began dragging Shawn Gonzalez back toward the ring. He threw him back over the guardrail and joined him at ringside and then back inside the ring where he made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! The crowd was slightly stunned when Shawn Gonzalez kicked out but the match continued.

Gonzalez fired back on Nicky Champion inside the ring, catapulting Nicky into the turnbuckle and busting Champion open when Nicky hit the ringpost instead of the turnbuckles! Gonzalez focused on the forehead of Nicky Champion with straight punches and headbutts while the crowd looked on. Gonzalez slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair but he was stopped by Sam Strong! Strong and Gonzalez got into a tug of war with the chair and Gonzalez let go, sending the chair into the ribs of Sam! Gonzalez kicked Sam in the gut and landed a DDT on him outside the ring on top of the chair! Gonzalez pulled the chair out and slid back in the ring, ducking a Hawkeye Hammer by a risen Nicky Champion and then dropping the chair as he kicked Nicky in the gut -- DDT on the chair! An automatic DQ here in USPW!]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C

[but the sound of the bell ringing didn't stop Gonzalez! He continued to attack Nicky Champion, hooking Champion's leg in the chair and heading to the top turnbuckle! Sam Strong managed to make it back inside the ring and he covered Nicky Champion! Gonzalez saw it and dropped an elbow on the back of the head of the USPW Owner! What a dispicable act! Gonzalez smiled as he left the ring, leaving both men down.]

[A split-screen shows both Captain USA and JD Morgan as they prepare in their locker rooms and then begin to walk that walk toward the ring. The USPW World Title match is next!]

Match #8

USPW World Title Match

USPW World Title Match

Captain USA defends vs. JD Morgan

[And it's our first of two main event matches here as Captain USA defends the USPW World Title and the honour of USPW against the D.A.V.E. insurgency, namely JD Morgan.

It didn't take very long at all for Alex Braun and Shawn Gonzalez to show up at ringside and stand in the corner of JD Morgan. But Captain USA had the advantage at that point and had a good, rousing 'USA' chant going through the crowd. JD was knocked outside the ring during the midway point of the match and Captain USA was smart enough to stay in the ring and just watch as JD got up and eventually got back in the ring after doing some pacing there. The crowd got wild with another 'USA' chant during this time and really fired up Captain USA.

JD gave Captain USA a few hard shots during that midway point though and really took the advantage. He locked USA in a surfboard hold but couldn't get a submission so he tossed Captain USA to ringside and distracted the referee so Alex Braun and Shawn Gonzalez could do the dirty work of ramming USA against the guardrail and then against the ringpost before tossing him back inside the ring. Morgan choked him in the corner and broke at the four count, being led back by the referee and thus giving Braun another chance to interfere as he choked the life out of Captain USA. JD Morgan locked in a reverse chinlock and that actually seemed to be the opening that Captain USA needed! The 'USA' chant got started again and the crowd went wild as Captain USA fought to his feet and dropped JD Morgan with a back drop!

Both men lie on the mat while the referee began his count. At six, both men were on their knees and exchanging punches with USA actually getting the better of JD Morgan! He pulled Morgan up and slid behind him, hooking the Full Nelson to cheers from the crowd but he got distracted when Shawn Gonzalez jumped up on the apron! Captain USA let go of JD Morgan and moved toward Gonzalez. Alex Braun slid a chair in to JD and JD turned, *WHAM!* nailing Captain USA in the back of the head with the chair as Gonzalez had the referee distracted! The chair was slid out of the ring and JD hooked in the Cross Atlantic Stretch to boos from the crowd! Could this be it??? No, it can't happen like this! Not like this! Gonzalez jumped down from the apron and referee Baby Jamie checked on Captain USA and -- he gives! We have a NEW USPW World Champion!]

Winner: JD Morgan

Match Rating: C+

Match #9

Steel Cage Match

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/RandallHopkirk.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

Steel Cage Match: Randall Hopkirk vs. James Justice

[The crowd was definitely steamed at the results of the last match as the cage was constructed around the ring for our second of two main events. The rules for this match are simple: pinfall, submission or escape the cage. Nothing else matters. And to that effect, Randall Hopkirk comes down to the ring weilding a tire iron! Referee Bret Graveson tries to get it away from him but is only threatened with being hit with it! James Justice comes running down and slides in the ring while Hopkirk is arguing with the referee and Justice turns Hopkirk into several big right hands, knocking the tire iron out of his hands and the match is on as the cage door is closed and locked!

Justice obviously had the lead early on during the match, nearly ramming Hopkirk's head into the steel cage early but Hopkirk blocked it and caught Justice with a back elbow. Hopkirk grabbed the tire iron quickly and used it to choke Justice from behind but it was still a little early for that and Justice grabbed the tire iron and used his enormous strength to pull it away from his neck while kicking Hopkirk with a low blow! Justice got a hold of the tire iron at that point and looked at it and then looked to a cheering crowd! Then he looked toward Hopkirk and swung the tire iron but Hopkirk ducked and speared James Justice, sending the tire iron flying up against the cage. Hopkirk held the advantage for the next several minutes, earning the right of being the first man to send his opponent against the steel cage! Hopkirk began grating Justice's face up against that cage and James Justice began bleeding during the midway point of the match! Hopkirk got a couple of near falls during this period of time and was only stopped when he tried to ram Justice into the cage again and Justice blocked it, instead sending Hopkirk up against the cage!

Justice got the crowd fired up with him and sent Hopkirk to every side of the reinforced steel, busting HIS opponent open! Justice dropped Hopkirk with a Russian Legsweep and got a two count. Justice went for the Liberation Slam but Hopkirk blocked it with several elbow shots to the back of the head so Justice grabbed him and dropped him with an overhead belly to belly suplex! James Justice looked very good out there in the ring and it showed. Both men were bleeding toward the end of the match. Justice was able to get out of a Randallism attempt by Hopkirk and he turned it around into a Liberation Slam! The crowd exploded as Justice made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[James Justice popped up in celebration, raising his arms in the air and then nearly falling over from exhaustion. The crowd tried to warn Justice as someone came in from the back and slid inside the steel cage when the door was opened. The man slid in behind James Justice. Justice turned -- *WHAM* BELT SHOT! JD Morgan sneered down at James Justice for a moment and leveled in stomps and kicks! Morgan grabbed Justice and hooked on a Cross Atlantic Stretch while his D.A.V.E. buddies came down to stop officials from getting in the ring and stopping the carnage! Morgan slowly released his hold and punched away at the bleeding forehead of James Justice to open up the cut even deeper! Justice was bleeding like a stuck pig as JD raised up the USPW World Title belt spraypainted in black with four letters: D.A.V.E. and the show came to a close.]

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 4 October 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 4,180

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .40

[A video recap of USPW Born In The USA begins the show with particular attention paid to JD Morgan's exploits in beating Captain USA and then attacking James Justice to end the pay-per-view.]

[Focus inside the arena where JD Morgan's music has begun to play and the crowd boos the brand new USPW World Champion as he walks toward the ring. The belt is around his waist and sporting the D.A.V.E. logo spraypainted over the USPW one. JD steps inside the ring with a smile on his face and pulls out a microphone.]

JD Morgan: "Last Saturday night at Born In The USA I did exactly what I said I was going to do. I went into the pay-per-view and I defeated Captain USA for the D.A.V.E. World Title!"

[JD smiles and the crowd boos even more, beginning a 'USA' chant.]

JD Morgan: "You can chant all you want but after what I did to him last Saturday night I know he's going to want no part of me. As a matter of fact, after what I did to James Justice, I sent a message to each and every future challenger for this title belt. This title is mine and no one is going to take this belt from me."

[JD unstraps the belt from around his waist and holds it up to boos and chants of 'You Suck' as he places it over his shoulder.]

JD Morgan: "Now..."

[And the crowd cheers as JD is interrupted by the sound of some familiar music and out from the back walks none other than Jack Avatar! Jack absorbs in the cheers from the crowd, walking right toward the ring with those shades covering his eyes. He slides inside and has a microphone in hand.]

Jack Avatar: "JD, you might have beaten Captain USA at the pay-per-view but this D.A.V.E. garbage? It stops tonight."

JD Morgan: "Oh really, Jack? Well, that's nice to hear coming from someone who LOST last night."

Jack Avatar: "I may have lost last night but D.A.V.E. lost the war. They became extinct, gone forever from the mindset of the true fan. No true WRESTLING fan would have ever watched that garbage promotion to begin with."

JD Morgan: "That's where I know you're wrong, Jack. You see, we have a lot of wrestling fans that loved D.A.V.E. We weren't just about the danger and the violence..."

Jack Avatar: "Funny, JD, because that's what the name says."

JD Morgan: "Some of the best wrestlers in the world passed through D.A.V.E., Jack. Like it or not, it was one of the best breeding grounds..."

Jack Avatar: "For jerks and thugs. I know. Now tonight Sam Strong has come through and issued a title match between you and me in this very ring."

JD Morgan: "Is that so?"

Jack Avatar: "That's right and I..."

[Jack is interrupted by a microphone shot to the head by JD Morgan! JD puts the boots to him and then lifts him up, locking in the Cross Atlantic Stretch! The crowd boos heavily as JD Stretches Jack Avatar out and then finally releases him and raises up his World Title belt before heading to the back as officials check on Jack Avatar.]

April Appleseed vs. Cherry Bomb

[And the opening contest is Women's action here as Cherry Bomb takes on April Appleseed. Appleseed puts up a valiant effort, showing improvement inside the ring but Cherry Bomb is just too much for her and Cherry Bomb hits the Cherry Bomb finisher to get the pinfall win.]

Winner: Cherry Bomb

Match Rating: D

[Following the match, Cherry Bomb stomps on April Appleseed before delivering another Cherry Bomb! She makes a motion at her waist to show that she wants the gold before heading toward the back.]

[A video recap is shown of the USPW World Tag Team Titles match at Born In The USA where The Powers Of The Force! defeated The New Jersey Devils to retain the titles but The Devils got a measure of revenge after the match, choking out Jim Force and hitting the Braun Damage on Java!]

Non Title

The Power Of The Force! vs. The Tennessee Outlaws

[The crowd really was not into this match and it proved to be an early bathroom break/souvenir stand break, hopefully to buy Jim Force's merchandise! Jim Force got the pinfall on Whisky Jack following a Full Force and the Champions looked strong.]

Winners: The Power Of The Force!

Match Rating: E

Match #3

Brady Prince vs. Matthew Keith

[Wow, another dud of a match! More was definitely expected of Matthew Keith to be able to carry the match a little further than it was but it was to no avail as the crowd just kept filing out to the restroom and the souvenir stand. Keith got the submission win with the Proton Lock.]

Winner: Matthew Keith

Match Rating: E

[The crowd rose in boos as the AmericaTron lit up to show a backstage area and Randall Hopkirk, looking pretty badly hurt from the match on Saturday night.]

Randall Hopkirk: "James Justice, you might think that just because JD Morgan attacked you after our match that you're done with me. Well, that couldn't be further from the truth. I've just spent an hour speaking with USPW Owner Sam Strong and he has granted me a rematch one on one with you next week right here on American Wrestling! That's right, I'm gonna get that second chance to finish your career. There will be no more hiding behind Sam Strong. No more hiding behind some stipulation that states that I can't touch you. Right here on American Wrestling, I'm gonna take you out once and for all."

[Randall growls as he looks in the camera and we cut to another backstage area.]

[backstage, Nicky Champion is standing within his locker room and Sam Strong walks in.]

Sam Strong: "It is settled, Nicky. You're going to get your rematch one on one with Shawn Gonzalez at USPW Thanksgiving Thunder."

Nicky Champion: "Hardcore match?"

Sam Strong: "I had a hard time signing off on that one but it's your life and your career, Nicky. It will be a hardcore match."

Nicky Champion: "Good because I don't want to be disqualifed when I hit Gonzalez in the head with a chair. I don't want him to be counted out when I leave him lying in a pool of his own blood outside the ring. D.A.V.E. thinks they can get extreme? They haven't seen anything yet."

[Nicky begins stretching and then turns his focus to the monitors as we head out for our next match.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShawnGonzalez.jpg

Fumihiro Ota vs. Shawn Gonzalez

[This wasn't the best match in the world but it was more of one that USPW wrestling fans could be proud of. Ota flew all over the ring against Gonzalez, showing fans that he still has it and can be a definite threat in the upper levels of competition. Gonzalez kept to his extremist gimmick, using brawls outside the ring and a knocked out referee to hit a DDT on a chair on Ota. He slid the chair out of the ring and locked on the Latino Crab as the referee came to and Ota had no choice but to give up.]

Winner: Shawn Gonzalez

Match Rating: D+

[The AmericaTron lit up, showing the rather extravagant home of James Justice and Justice sitting on the couch with bruises and an ice bag up against his forehead. He looked up toward the camera after a moment.]

James Justice: "I'm sitting here at home after having the fight of my life last Saturday night beating Randall Hopkirk and then getting the fight beaten right out of me by JD Morgan and I hear Randall challenge me for next week. Well, Randy, as long as the doctors clear me to wrestle you know that I'll be there. I'll step in the ring against you and anyone else who wants to challenge me because I never ever back down from a fight. And that brings me to JD Morgan. JD, I'm quite sure you got a little bit ahead of yourself when you attacked me from behind with that belt at the end of the pay-per-view. You stepped a little bit out of your league and that's fine. That's alright. I understand. You're the new Champion and you want to make an impact. I can forgive that. But if you ever stick your nose in my business again, I'll have it surgically removed for good. But right now my focus has to be on Randall Hopkirk next week. Randall, justice was served at Born In The USA so I have nothing more to prove. But you know what? I'm still going to beat you 1--2--3."

[James smiles at the camera and we cut to a split-screen of JD Morgan and Jack Avatar walking toward the ring. The main event is next!]

Match #5

USPW World Title Match

USPW World Title Match

JD Morgan defends vs. Jack Avatar

[And it's main event time in what should be an excellent matchup here as JD Morgan goes for his first title defense after winning the title last Saturday. The match begins with a shoving contest between the two, which JD wins, sending Avatar back into the corner. Avatar quickly realizes he can't match muscles with JD Morgan and goes in with several scientific wrestling holds, including a side headlock and an overhead wristlock. JD broke the wristlock with a punch to the gut and then sent Avatar hurtling out of the ring. JD distracted the official as Alex Braun and Tank Bradley came out over the guardrail and assaulted Jack Avatar! Avatar was sent into the post and then tossed back in the ring. JD just smiled at his tag team and sent them away before turning back toward Avatar and getting caught in an inside cradle: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! We came close to having a new USPW World Champion! JD senses that and begins stomping the hell out of Avatar! Morgan pulls up Avatar and levels him down with a belly to belly suplex and he makes a cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! Avatar kicked out of the belly to belly!

Morgan spent the next several minutes in brawling fashion against Avatar, raking his eyes against the ropes and generally taking advantage of any rule that he could break and getting several near falls in the process but Avatar wouldn't give up. Morgan went for the Cross Atlantic Stretch but Avatar was too close to the ropes and he held onto them for dear life, referee Baby Jamie forcing Morgan to break the hold. Morgan got into an argument with the referee and Avatar hit him in the knee from behind! Avatar started rallying the troops and getting the advantage at this point, going so far as to get the ten punches in the corner and then a corner clothesline! Avatar set JD Morgan on the top turnbuckle and hooked him up -- SUPERPLEX!! Avatar popped up and got the crowd electric! We could be heading toward a new USPW World Champion!

Jack Avatar gave a few stomps to Morgan and then moved around and outside the ring, ascending the turnbuckles. Avatar looked down at JD Morgan and Morgan pulled the referee in the way of things, making Avatar hesitate. The hesitation was enough as Joss Thompson came running down and knocked Avatar off the top turnbuckle and onto the guardrail below! Thompson laid in the stomps on Avatar to boos from the crowd, picking him up in military press fashion and dropping him throat-first there! Joss backed off as the referee turned back around and began counting out Jack Avatar! Joss just smiled there for the moment as the referee continued his count and then called for the bell when Jack couldn't answer the ten count!]

Winner: JD Morgan

Match Rating: C

[JD had gotten his first title defense but by dubious methods! Joss Thompson rolled Jack Avatar into the ring and began stomping on him, helping JD get him into the Cross Atlantic Stretch! The crowd booed this majorly and began chanting 'USA, USA, USA!' And this time....he answered their call! An explosion went through the crowd as Captain USA came running down and slid inside the ring! He clotheslined down Joss Thompson and went after JD Morgan but the Champ rolled out of the ring and grabbed his title belt, backing up the ramp and holding up the title!

Captain USA left the ring and reached underneath it, pulling out an American flag! Captain USA slid back in the ring and began waving the flag as JD held up the World Title belt! The crowd's USA chants were heard as the show went off the air.]

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Monday Week 1 November 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 3,750

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .47

[The Huntsville Fairgrounds is once again the sight of another edition of USPW American Wrestling and the crowd of 3,750 are rocking inside the arena!]

Mitch Naess: "Hello everyone and welcome to USPW American Wrestling! I'm Mitch Naess alongside Sara Silver and Sara tonight we have two big main events to look forward to."

Sara Silver: "Indeed we do, Mitch. We have JD Morgan defending what he calls the D.A.V.E. World Title against one of the top wrestlers in USPW: Steve Flash."

Mitch Naess: "And Steve has the lovely Blonde Bombshell at ringside so anything can happen. Our second main event is to be a rematch from USPW's Born In The USA as James Justice steps into the ring with the ever-dangerous Randall Hopkirk."

Sara Silver: "James is always talking about how justice is going to be served? Well tonight Randall Hopkirk gets the justice as he goes in there and demolishes James Justice."

Mitch Naess: "That has yet to be seen, Sara. But with that let's head up to the ring for our opening contest."

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackAvatar_FSFIN.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShooterSeanDeeley.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JenniferHeat.jpg

Jack Avatar vs. Shooter Sean Deeley w/ Jennifer Heat

[One great thing about these two is the chemistry that they share with one another. Their moves are fluid and crisp inside the ring going from one hold to another and it shows and really helps the flow of the match in general. This was a back and forth battle with some interference from Jennifer Heat involved in it. Avatar for his part managed to pull out the victory with a sudden rollup on Deeley getting the 1 -- 2 -- 3.]

Winner: Jack Avatar

Match Rating: C

[Following the match, Joss Thompson came running down to the ring but Jack Avatar saw him coming! They exchanged rights and lefts in the center of the ring as officials came out to break things up. This feud is far from over, folks!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErnieTurner.jpg

Anger w/ Demon Spite vs. Ernie Turner

[The crowd wasn't feeling too great about this match to begin with because neither of these wrestlers had been given much screen time to get their characters over. So it was no surprise that the match brought the crowd's mood down. Ernie Turner sold like a champ for Anger when Anger was in control but it was Turner who hit the Slick Pimp Spike and got the three count.]

Winner: Ernie Turner

Match Rating: E-

[Ernie tried to get the fans behind him by celebrating after the victory but all that resulted in was a belt shot by Freddie Datsun! The USPW World Television Champion smiled down at Turner and lifted him up -- PATRIOT PRESS! Datsun landed his finisher right on top of the belt to boos from the crowd. The crowd cared a little more about Datsun than it did about Turner so that got Turner some cheers and Datsun more boos.]

[The focus turned to the announcers.]

Mitch Naess: "Sara, we have been informed that at Thanksgiving Thunder Captain USA has exercised his rematch clause against JD Morgan! No word on the stipulations for this match but it should be a good one."

Sara Silver: "Why can't someone more deserving like Joss Thompson get a title shot, Mitch? Captain USA has not exactly been the best representative for USPW, has he?"

Mitch Naess: "He is not only a good representative for USPW but a great one for America as well, Sara!"

Sara Silver: "Whatever. Let's just go to our next match."

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TravisCentury.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg

Travis Century vs. Captain USA

[A member of D.A.V.E. tries to take out Captain USA here so he can't make it to Thanksgiving Thunder. The Preacher Travis Century used a lot of hardcore tactics to boos from the crowd and chants of 'USA, USA, USA.' Century made the sign of the cross on top of Captain USA and began reading him the last rites when USA exploded out of nowhere to hit Century with a spear! USA is not quite dead yet, folks! Captain USA dominated the rest of the match and hit Century with the Hail To The Chief and got the three count!]

Winner: Captain USA

Match Rating: E+

[backstage, we are given a split shot of JD Morgan and Steve Flash with Blonde Bombshell as they are headed toward the ring for their title match. But the scene looks almost the same and it is shown as being the same as JD Morgan attacks Steve Flash from behind with a belt shot! Morgan slams Flash into the concrete wall and then rams his head into a table. Blonde Bombshell screams in horror as JD Morgan smiles at her and starts walking toward her! Steve Flash manages to attack Morgan from behind but Morgan just takes the fight right back to him and eventually they fight out onto the rampway! JD Morgan has control as he sends Steve Flash into the ring for the match.]

Match #4

USPW World Title Match

15 Minute Time Limit

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan_alt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlondeBombshell_alt1.jpg

USPW World Title Match

JD made a cover on Steve Flash: 1 -- 2 -- SHOULDER UP!! The crowd EXPLODED as Steve Flash raised that shoulder! JD had a look of shock on his face and tried another cover, pushing that shoulder down specifically: 1 -- 2 -- THE OTHER SHOULDER POPS UP! The crowd starts chanting 'FLASH, FLASH, FLASH' as JD shakes his head and stands up, putting the boots to Steve Flash! JD yells at someone in the front row and gets more boos from the crowd. JD pulls Steve Flash up and sends him across into the corner HARD! JD follows in -- BOOT BY FLASH! Steve Flash got the boots up a second time! Flash turns and leaps on the turnbuckles -- ASAI MOONSAULT! He covers JD Morgan: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT!

Steve Flash used the fury from the crowd as he quickly bounced off the ropes -- ROLLING THUNDER keeps JD Morgan on the mat! Flash moved off and headed to the top turnbuckle! Flash made a play to the crowd and then leaped -- FROG SPLASH CONNECTS!! Steve Flash made a quick cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! JD Morgan kicked out somehow from the frog splash, showing his own resiliency. Flash moved to lift JD up but Morgan grabbed him and tossed him out of the ring to the floor! JD followed him out and irish whipped him into the ring post and Steve Flash was busted open! JD smiled as he saw that and began stalking Steve Flash. Blonde Bombshell moved between them! She's begging and pleading with JD to stop but JD pushes her to the side and moves ahead, grabbing Steve Flash and sending him face-first into the ring post again! He tossed Flash back in the ring and joined him to prevent the countout. JD mounted on top of Steve Flash and began punching away, breaking that cut open a little further with his shots of rights and lefts!

The ring announcer could be heard signalling only five minutes left within the time limit as JD Morgan got to his feet and pulled up Steve Flash, sending him into the ropes and catching him with a sidewalk slam! Morgan stalked Flash and dropped an elbow and made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! JD shook his head and got to his feet, pulling Steve Flash into a Piledriver position! He hooked Steve Flash, lifting him up and turning so each corner of the ring could see what was about to happen. As Morgan prepared to drop Flash, Steve found a second wind and got his feet down! Flash lifted JD Morgan into a back body drop and both men went down to the mat! Referee Baby Jamie began the ten count as both men lie slightly exhausted down on the ground. At the count of three, JD Morgan started stirring. At the count of six, Flash was stirring and JD was nearly to his feet. JD walked over to Steve Flash but caught a shot to the gut! Flash threw another punch as the one minute remaining began! Steve Flash got to his feet and hit a standing dropkick to fell JD Morgan! Flash headed toward the corner and climbed up, signalling toward the crowd and he dropped an elbow right into the heart of the leader of D.A.V.E.! Steve Flash kipped up and grabbed JD Morgan, whipping him into the ropes -- FLASH BANG!! Steve Flash hit the Flash Bang! He makes a cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!!]

Winner: Steve Flash

Match Rating: C

[steve Flash popped up to his knees, nearly in tears as his long career produces this first USPW World Title! The referee left the ring and took ahold of the USPW World Title belt but he's stopped by Alex Braun and Tank Bradley! Braun shoves referee Baby Jamie! He's telling the referee to reverse his decision! The ring announcer speaks with the referee as several USPW wrestlers come down and get between The New Jersey Devils and the referee. Baby Jamie slides inside the ring as the ring announcer comes over the P.A. system...

Ring Announcer: "Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been determined that the time limit expired before Baby Jamie's hand dropped for the third time. This match results in a draw. Therefore, still your USPW World Champion...JD Morgan!"

[bOOS fill the crowd as JD Morgan is handed the belt by Baby Jamie but no one's arm is raised! JD slides out of the ring and moves toward the back as the ring is pelted with garbage! Steve Flash and Blonde Bombshell head toward the back, looked dejected.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/RandallHopkirk.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

Randall Hopkirk vs. James Justice w/ Sam Strong

[uSPW Owner Sam Strong came out with James Justice for this bout against Randall Hopkirk but Sam went down to the announce table and announced for this match alongside Mitch and Sara.

The match began with some good brawling spots between Hopkirk and Justice with Hopkirk taking control at the beginning and working over the back of Justice with forearm shots and a backbreaker. He sent Justice into the ropes and caught him in a sidewalk slam position but finished that off with a backbreaker! Hopkirk peeled off Justice and sent him down to the mat. He grabbed a handful of hair and pulled him up -- Short Arm Clothesline by Hopkirk! Hopkirk pulls him up again -- another clothesline! He pulls him up a third time -- another clothes -- ducked! Justice with a back elbow and then a dropkick, sending Hopkirk down to the mat! Hopkirk slid out of the ring and Justice played to the crowd for a moment.

Hopkirk paced outside the ring, breaking up the momentum by James Justice before he slid back inside and looked across at his opponent. A collar and elbow tie up produces an armbar by James Justice! Justice cinches it in tight but Hopkirk gets to the ropes to break the hold. As Justice lets go, Hopkirk tosses a cheap shot forearm to the face of James Justice. Justice staggers back and bounces off the ropes -- POWERSLAM by Hopkirk! Hopkirk covers and hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! Hopkirk pulls Justice up and kicks him in the gut -- JUMPING DDT! Hopkirk makes another cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! Somehow James Justice kicked out! Hopkirk just shook his head and got to his feet bouncing off the ropes -- LEGDROP! Hopkirk complied at four and then pushed the referee out of the way and choked Justice again! Again Hopkirk broke at four and then laced Justice's chest with a hard chop in the corner! Justice staggered out of the corner and Hopkirk hooked him for a vertical suplex but Justice blocked it! Justice blocked a second time! He turned their bodies around and lifted Hopkirk up -- HANGING VERTICAL SUPLEX and both men are down!

Referee Baby Jamie began the ten count here and got up to six before both men were up. Justice ducked a clothesline and lit up Hopkirk's chest with two chops! Justice went downstairs with a knee -- ROCKER DROPPER! Justice made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- SHOULDER UP! Justice moved up to his feet and looked toward the corner! He turned back toward Hopkirk and dropped him with a body slam close to the corner. Justice went outside the ring and began climbing. He turned his back toward Hopkirk -- MOONSAULT!!!! The moonsault was ugly as hell but it connected! Justice crawled over and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- FOOT ON THE ROPES! Somehow Randall Hopkirk got that foot on the ropes! Justice springs up to his feet and plays to the crowd, feeling their energy! He sets up Hopkirk and heads toward the turnbuckles again! Justice climbs up and looks down toward Hopkirk, pointing toward the sky before leaping -- FLYING ELBOW DROP RIGHT INTO THE EVIL HEART OF HOPKIRK! Hopkirk convulses on the ground as Justice gets to his feet and stalks Hopkirk! Slowly Hopkirk begins to climb to his feet. Randall throws a weak clothesline toward Justice -- DUCKED! Justice hooks Hopkirk -- LIBERATION SLAM!!! Justice hit the Liberation Slam on Randall Hopkirk! Justice slides over and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!!!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

[James Justice got to his feet as Hopkirk rolled out of the ring a defeated man! Justice played to the crowd with his arms up in the air, moving to each and every corner as the crowd cheered and began chants of 'Jus-tice, Jus-tice, Jus-tice!'

Justice jumped off the fourth turnbuckle and turned --

HO-

JUMBO AVALANCHE!

JUMBO AVALANCHE!

JUMBO AVALANCHE!

James Justice falls in a heap as Jumbo Jackson stands inside the ring and looks down at him and boos move through the crowd once again tonight! Jumbo thumps his chest as Shane Sneer stands beside him, raising his arm in the air! Jumbo Jackson grabs James Justice and moves him into the corner again -- ANOTHER JUMBO AVALANCHE! James Justice clutches his ribs and he can't even stand or fight back as Jumbo Jackson sneers down at him. What a poor way to end the show!]

I really enjoy reading this diary, can't wait for the next update...USPW is by far my favorite promotion in the Cornellverse, and I think your diary really captures the essence of USPW better than most who try and tackle the promotion. I loved the Captain USA title win, and his push in general...keep up the good work!

Thanks for the compliments! I'm really trying to keep with the old-school feel of USPW but also trying to bring in some modern edge to it some. It's a bit of a tight-rope walk most of the time.

Captain USA is a character that doesn't get a lot of love in most diaries so I felt that he had earned his push and his title win and I knew it would be a swerve for most people, especially when he beat Joss in the tournament.

Yeah, a lot of the USPW default roster gets overlooked, my favorite in USPW is Peter Valentine...I can't help but push the talentless hack. He is A* overness in all regions of America in my game, so he helps my shows with angles based on overness, and I let him wrestle as infrequently as possible, though he does have excellent chemistry with Steve Flash, who often carries him to watchable matches. The Cap is usually entrenched in solid midcard feuds with Sgt. Bubba Lee West and Commisioner Doom, but he's still wrestling past his 50th b-day.

Anyways, guess I should do some predictions.

Peter Valentine w/ Sam Strong vs. Jumbo Jackson w/ Shane Sneer - Pete's probably a bit more over in this case, and I see him going over via DQ when Jumbo snaps and uses a weapon.

Winners Receive A USPW World Tag Team Titles Shot At USPW Thanksgiving Thunder!: The New Jersey Devils vs. The Towers of Power - I like the Towers, and I think they have the edge over the devils in this bout.

Hardcore Warmup Match: Nicky Champion w/ Sam Strong vs. Travis Century - Hawkeye's the future of the company, and should win this match easily.

Jim Force vs. Joss Thompson w/ Jennifer Heat - Joss Thompson should pick up the win here, by simply outwresting Jim...odds are Sammy won't let you rehire him anyway, haha.

Captain USA vs. Randall Hopkirk - The power of the USA shall triumph here.

James Justice w/ Sam Strong vs. Shooter Sean Deeley w/ Jennifer Heat - Shooter is a solid talent, for sure...but right now he's a JTTS, and will be doing his job.
